1. I have to agree with that last one. Cynthia McIdiot’s views are about as skewed and as negative as they get. The woman inhabits some alternate reality, racist and post-plantation. If it weren’t for her totally gerrymandered district, we’d never hear from here again. Alas, she shares a skin tone with many of the people in her district, and apparently that’s all it takes to keep her in office. Oh, and she’s a rabble rousing trouble maker; a right royal pain in the ass. Which I suppose is the kind of “giving back” her constituents approve of.

   I’d add “media bias” to the categories chosen for this post.

3. I remember Gary for one thing and one thing only - air that was so thick, dirty and nasty you could cut it with a knife. Thank - enviro wackos for the majority of that ‘destruction’ - as with our city - they went after every single factory that made something (both in America and worthwhile) because of pollution. Now what’s to keep the city going - a bunch of unionized public sector workers hoping to keep enough morons around to pay their ‘benefits’ forever?

   This city has less total population than when I left here in 1973 - how is that going to pay all those living on the dole and the union contract ‘benefits’ promised on a population twice the size? And combine that with the unemployment rate (can’t tell me it’s down to 7%) - and it’s only going to get worse, not better.

7. Looking at the pictures (finally, I know, I know) - looks like downtown Detroit. Except Motown has the professional sports teams that are keeping it, keeping on. And steel - yes let’s just import from 3rd world nations that pay nothing for cheap imitations of the real thing - simply because of nasty pollution. What a bunch of moroons those enviro wackos are - read Sarah Palin’s book (how she got AK oil companies on board with her plans)- pollution is pollution - it effects the air - doesn’t matter where it is - [aside, if the tsunami crap can ‘float’ here - umm, why can’t the polllution?!? Riddle me that one] better that the oil, steel, et al be made here in America by Americans - under some enviro control - than in 3rd world countries exploiting the po’ and polluting gia earth forever. It will still kill us - in the end.

   Is there no bounds what-so-ever to the stupidity of liberals?
