  2. That’s auntie’s red house there by the river? The river Test? The Middle Test in Romney? Good lord, there isn’t a fly fisherman on earth who wouldn’t give his back teeth to own that property; the Test is the greatest trout river in all of England. It’s where fly fishing comes from; the spiritual home to the 4X tippet and the split Tonkin cane bamboo rod.

  5. Drew, No. Not aunties house. Wouldn’t that be nice?

    Right on the Test which is close by, but the town is Romsey.

    The restaurant we went to for dinner straddles a bit of water and was once named the Trout Farm. Back then that was all they sold. The name has changed and new owners expanded the menu.
