Yes, it’s called a racist term.
Nobody is allowed to remark how any black person is, or resembles, any lower primate. Believing that black people look like monkeys, apes, chimpanzees plays into that old “black people are less evolved” meme from well over a century ago, that denies them their essential humanity.
On the other hand, because humans and chimpanzees are so closely related, it is not uncommon for any of us to sometimes look like them, and vice versa. However, the racial bias presumption precludes the comparison to blacks in any form. Just ask Howard Cosell.
Thus it was perfectly fine to constantly refer to our previous president as Chimpy McBush, because he did look a bit chimp like from time to time. But it is outright racism to make a similar observation about Michelle Obama.
This is because everyone has a stick up their ass the size of an oak tree, and can not just chill the fuck out and learn to relax and laugh at themselves.
It also means that there are just some things you don’t say in public. But I have to admit, the punchline to the Tarzan joke that arrived in my inbox was funny as hell ...
CRUNCHY,But ya.
You have no idea( actually you all do I’m sure) how often I hear black men and women ( usually the younger women) say Nigga in every other word of their conversations with each other. It basically means Fool in the context they use it so it is what it is.
But, considering they got stuck with,as they see it, the” Wrong Tone” I guess we White Folk should just let sleeping dogs lie and let that one slide. Happy Days
Ever wonder if Coke really has COKE in it? Wonder no more:
The Coca-Cola we know today still contains coca—but the ecgonine alkaloid is removed from it. Perfecting that extraction took until 1929, so before that there were still trace amounts of coca’s psychoactive elements in Coca-Cola. As Dominic Streatfield describes in Cocaine: An Unauthorized Biography, the extraction is now done at a New Jersey chemical processing facility by a company called Stepan. In 2003, Stepan imported 175,000 kilograms of coca for Coca-Cola. That’s enough to make more than $200 million worth of cocaine. They refer to the coca leaf extract simply as “Merchandise No. 5.”
The facility Is guarded.
Go Figure.
