   So now Breaking And Entering is a crime that isn’t worth investigating, rather like bicycle theft here in the USA.

   Too bad about the weapons laws over there ... “solve it yourself” could actually lead to a permanent solution.

   Even better, this bit of news got published in the paper. Now that all the other thieves know it’s party time, I expect burglaries in the area to skyrocket. Double Stupid; the cops not doing their jobs and the newspapers telling everyone about it.

3. Someone is liable to take matters into their own hands and do a Tony Martin on a burglar. Then this idiotic policy will instantly be dropped like a hot potato. Another nail in the coffin for the NuLab Home Office.
