How about, instead of dingbat author’s “Gosh, why is it a surprise” crap, somebody makes the point that such a wonderful modern generation in those countries STAY in their own damn countries and make them better. WTF, now that the evil tyrants are gone, they can make those cat litter boxes veritable Edens, right?
What a numbnutz. All these rebellious people in these countries clamoring for freedom, and the very first, perhaps ONLY freedom they really want is to LEAVE, and come elsewhere to some pre-existing welfare state? And what a surprise that some other folks are surprised at that? EFF OFF! All these suddenly free wunderkinds have the golden opportunity to make their nations great. So stay there and do that.
PS - too frickin slick, the Italian solution! “Eh, give us lotsa money, and then when they show up, we send them to you!”
