Happy New Year - just realize this - I too have relatives such as that and thanks to my Mom wanting to see (I do believe) how many of her relatives will flock to her deathbed - I had to spend the day with them - and then after getting home - getting phone calls from 3 of them. I wonder too how they 1) ever get any work done, wanting to talk over just what happened with the very people who were there while it was happening, 2) get a job and to and from the job when they seem to have to rehash every little detail of every little thing that just happened with the people who were there while it was happening and 3) can function when the minutia of life seems to overwhelm them so much.

   I had my momentary lapse of going and doing - after getting spit upon (metaphorically speaking) - I am not about to ruin my life for someone who does not give a damn about me. Your Jen is a better woman than I am.
