1. I think the Germans are very jaded, so they need entertainments that are really really shocking to get through the ennui. While this show will make the rest of the world gag, it will probably be a hit over there. I don’t know where this jading comes from. Maybe it’s the depressing awareness of life under Socialism. Maybe it’s the high unemployment and the realization that they’ve given their country over to the muslims. Maybe they’re all burnt out from watching all that extreme German porno.

3. And pervs. I think the playwright and the director tried to push all the political hot buttons at once, and the result is this mess. Sounds like a huge load of crap, and hopefully it will quickly sink, being remembered only as the dumbest idea in theater in generations.
