  2. Buy one locally. You can usually find a Grizzly second hand for a decent price. I don’t know what shipping cost you, but a 7x12 lathe weighs about 90 lbs. You can get a new one for $500 too.

  3. $500 is pretty reasonable, unfortunately we are in an apartment so for now it’s not an option. I would like something a bit bigger too for working on barrels and chambering etc. Still a mini lathe would be neat.....hmmm
