  1. The Blizzard of ‘78 hit us up here in Michigan too. I lived in a basement apartment in Flint at the time. I was stuck there for 4 days because my car was snowed in up to the deck lid. Finally about Friday, I was running low on some chow, so I put on the big honkin’ boots, parka, and backpack then walked to Krogers. When I got there, I saw x-country skis propped up against the building… and snowmobiles on the highway pulling sleds of groceries. wink Good times wink

  2. Yeah I remember the winter I got back to America (that would be Dec 1982) - seems to me as I drove from Michigan to New York (Rochester, kiddies had to see their gandparents, since they saw my Mom in FL) - then drove to Oklahoma (next living spot) - it was like in the -50s with wind chill. The entire line of cars to NY - drove off every single exit to get coffee and scrape off the ice on the windshield.

If the earth is the gazillion of years old that these morons on the Left claim - then it goes to figure weather has fluctuated greatly over those years. Big surprise that it would happen again.

I did not know that the ‘Big Game’ (even now, sweepstakes to win tix to next years game - are called the ‘Big Game’ - bs) - was being so damned messed with.

We will only check in to see if Denver is killing the Seasquawks. If the Broncos are indeed beating the crap out of them - we will watch - unless they change it to Friday. Then we could care less - even if Denver wins 75 to nothing.

BTW, anyone in the NFL idiot higharchy remember the Freezer Bowl - Jan 10, 1982 - some -50 degrees with wind chill - where the Bengals wore no sleeves to intimidate the Chargers? Umm, did they die on the field?

What a big joke. Sad what the Left is doing to football.
