1. Cheney is such a great speaker. He’s even better on camera with that malevolent glare he always has. Best is when some noodjnik asks him some impertenent stupid question; you can see the “who is this dumbshit and why can’t I smack him?” reaction so clearly. (sigh) ( ... just enjoying the universal secret VRWC daydream for a minute that Dick and Dumbo had switched jobs ... )

2. Reality.  Good old practical reality.  We are under attack by people who would kill and enslave us.  What will the ACLU do if the Islamists win?  Somehow, I don’t think they will accept any responsibility.

   The court found, among other factors, that warrantless surveillance of terrorist-related communications would cause irreparable injury to the American Civil Liberties Union…

   Could someone please explain how warrantless surveillance of terrorists injures the ACLU?

   We aren’t playing a game in moot court, this isn’t a “fun” exercise in logic for our amusement, we are playing for the fate of our civilization.

   Isn’t Michigan an islamic property anyway? Of COURSE they wouldn’t want any terror attacks stopped by good intel. Duh!
