  3. The rifle is a Romaian semi auto knock off.  The politician is a total fucktard.  Not only is his thumb on the trigger, there’s a high capacity magazine in place (loaded or not loaded staus unknown) the action is closed (round in the chamber?) and the safety is off.  I’ll bet one of his aids handed it to him to use as a prop and he has no idea whether the weapon is loaded or not.  In house security should have knocked his dick stiff with a tazer and disarmed him, then arrested him for reckless endangerment and bringing a firearm into a government building.  This jerkwad shouldn’t be allowed within 1,000 yards of a firearm.  He’s too stupid to be near a gun and too stupid to be in his job.  I bet it’s the first time this moron has ever held a real gun.

  4. grayjohn, I bet you’re right. I bet he didn’t check the chamber and had no idea how to. One would hope the palace guard statehouse cops gave it the proper once over beforehand, since they were tipped off about it ahead of time.

But the article does say he got the gun from someone else ... which is the big no-no with your luggage at airports these days ... you’d think even Democrats could put that together ... OMFG ... what if the aide had a gripe and had slid a blank in there? Wouldn’t that have been a frisky moment? LOL

  5. This is the problem with the gun ‘control’ debate and the debate on healthcare - idiots who don’t have a clue (never forget this choice quote during the Dumbocare dustoff: I love these members, they get up and say, “Read the bill”. What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?

    John Conyers (D-MI, 14th),
House Judiciary Committee chair. . .
    WASHINGTON July 27, 2009 )
and now we are back once again to the ‘gun control’ legislation dustoff by a bunch of people who have no real clue about a damn thing they are talking about.

Please pass these around to as many people as you can, I think that they will help us do a good job to get information and our beliefs out. We need to fight this with every American and every (verbal and logical) weapon we have at our disposal:

To track the firearm legislation proposed in Congress:

To send a fax to ALL of your representatives:

and to explain the faux ‘assault weapon’ meme:

They can NOT take our RIGHTS, if We The People stand up and defend them.

  6. Ok everything I said was in the article.  Sorry for being redundant.  I reacted, I was at work and in a hurry and didn’t read the article.  I was pissed and just went for it.

  7. I saw this picture at another site, zoomed in on the trigger, and some very unpleasant, and uncomplimentary words were uttered.  “Hissing, spitting, and twirling” would be an apt description of my reaction.

Thanks guys for noticing that here too.  It’s part of why I love this place.
