I’m still laughing my ass off at the people who thought they were so righteous producing a map of all the gun owners. They don’t realize they just told the criminals exactly where to strike without fear of being shot. If my house was robbed, I’d sue the news people that printed it.
”...Popped in the buttocks...”?
I’d rather be shot dead than...no, wait...um...I don’t understand.
Heard the latest, HC58? Someone published the home locations and phone numbers of a bunch of “journalists” that work for the rag that published that gun-owners list. It was all publicly available info - just like the gun owner info.
Result: The friggin’ hypocrite paper owners hired ARMED GUARDS to “protect” the paper facility.
Wait, wasn’t that my previous post? And while it WAS all public info, it was public one record at a time, without a map.
When the J-N publishes the serial number of my Gold Match, I’m suing.
Oh Drew, say it ain’t so. You mean to tell me that people of color are killing each other over Nike’s and I Phones? Imagine that, and using illegal guns too. In NYC no less. Will wonders never cease.
When they publish the serial no of my AR-15 I’ll be stunned - since it was bought privately (and quite legally) decades ago and no record of my ownership (or the previous owner, for that matter) exists.
Just like about half my “arsenal”.
That will be amazing, Steamy. But I AM one of the dots on that map that was published. And I AM very pissed off, even though that paper had done almost the exact same thing a few years earlier, only without the interactive map.
Oh, I’d be royally pissed, too! And I thoroughly approve of the “turnabout is fair play” act of publishing the journalists’ addresses.
Off-topic, but can you tell me what ballistic software you use, and will it account for powder speed and load for a .50 AE casing loaded with a sabot’ed light .45 bullet loaded with a faster powder load? I was messing with them earlier this year and lost my nerve when it became apparent that I needed a faster-burning powder to push the lighter bullet out at a higher speed. Its for a DE .50 Action Express.
