A Bad Time To Call

 

1. I had the same experience last week from a Republican telecaller and I gave him about the same response you did.  His ears are probably still on fire. When he raised his voice at me after calling me in my own home that was it for me and told them to remove me from their calling list. I will not send them one dime after I was yelled at on my own phone in my own home.

   As for Bobby Jindal(my gov) he is saying one thing but doing something else, as all of them do. I live in LA. and have been disappointed in allthe constant campaigning instead of staying in LA. He has refused to go on a conservative local radio talk show after his election when the talk show host called him out on several issues of concern regarding a tax bill . He is very bright, but with all the problems LA. has we need a full time governor. He has not stood up to the dems that pretty much rule LA politics and has tried to work with the dems and as predicted they ran over him.  (night owl)

   they stopped calling me after i did a “drew” on them.[only not as erudite] they still waste their postage on me though. will be at the cincy tea party tomorrow but unlike most paid protesters [astroturf] i have to take off work to be there.

3. Damn - now I’ve got to go out and buy a gun today - damn, damn - not that I don’t want to buy a gun - but the prices at the stores are so much higher than the gun shows. Speaking of that did you catch either of the gun hit pieces [20/20 -’If I Only Had A Gun’ & 60 Minutes - ‘Gun Rush’]?!? I just noticed (while getting the titles) that ABC was involved in a ‘straw purchase’ by giving the relative of the VT dead girl, money to intentionally purchase guns not for his personal use - as asked, wonder if ABC will be held accountable. Doubt it.

   The more I hear - the more I doubt many politicos are upstanding any more. I was sold on Steele until recently - actually listening to him - dud, talk about a token black. And our local hot shot (Boehner) is fiscally conservative but hedged on immigration. . .We can’t win for losing any more. Repeal the 16th Amendment - take away their lifeline of $$$$ and then we can force Term Limits and once again We The People will have control.

   I have not been answering the phone of late - apparently the guy who had our phone # (it’s been 4.5 years now) either skipped on a bill or went for some credit check because once again we are getting collection calls for Joseph - let the computer hang up on ‘em all. You do know that the telephone has no Constitutional right to be answered.
