Uncle Ted opened his piehole to complain that Judge Roberts and Alito “misled” the poor Senators when they were going through their confirmation hearings. Here’s a guy who has served on the Judiciary Committee for over 40 years and he is complaining about being duped by a couple of guys who were in grade school when he started.

I have had the honor of serving on the Senate Judiciary Committee for 43 years, during which I’ve participated in confirmation hearings for all the justices who now sit on the Supreme Court. Over that time, my colleagues and I have asked probing questions and listened attentively to substantive responses. Because we were able to learn a great deal about the nominees from those hearings, the Senate has rarely voted along party lines. I voted, for example, for three of President Ronald Reagan’s five Supreme Court nominees.
Translation: I’m old, I’m great, I’m fair. Bow to me
But the careful, bipartisan process of years past—like so many checks and balances rooted in our Constitution—has been badly broken by the current Bush administration. The result has been the confirmation of two justices, John G. Roberts Jr. and Samuel A. Alito Jr., whose voting record on the court reflects not the neutral, modest judicial philosophy they promised the Judiciary Committee, but an activist’s embrace of the administration’s political and ideological agenda.
The confirmation process became broken because the Bush administration learned the wrong lesson from the failed Bork nomination and decided it could still nominate extremists as long as their views were hidden. To that end, it insisted that the Senate confine its inquiry largely to its nominees’ personal qualities.
Oy. I can’t read any more. Go read it for yourself. I ask our humble readers from MA: Why do you keep this guy in office?
I suppose it would be too much to ask him to look at the cases he’s complaining about? Like, are the cases so stupid and/or partisan that only a damn pinko-commie liberal would have filed them in the first place, thereby necessitating a common sense response by the court?
God, he’s an idiot and embarassment!
One has to keep in mind that the People’s Demokratik Republik of Massachusetts (AKA the Communist-wealth of Massachusetts) is the epicenter of all left wing liberal moonbat corrupt politics of the known Universe. The Mafia, and even Al Quaeda have a code of conduct. The Mass statehouse (AKA Bacon Hill) does not.
To the other 49 states, Red Ted is an embarassment, to the PDRM, he is a living god.
The only three true communist nations left are Cuba, North Korea and Massachusetts.
Kerry has been on the Senate Intelligence Committee for ages, and he says he was misled by Chimpy Bushitlerburton. So, his excuse is, like Teddy “Hic” Kenduhdy’s, that he is too incompetent to see thru a deception by the dumbest idiot, yet the most clever evil genius, to ever occupy the White House.
The Swimmer is People’s Exhibit A-471 of why this country needs Term Limits. Most of those 43 years he’s been showing up to work drunk and when he’s not drunk he’s hung over. He used to take frequent “pottie breaks” so he could go take a little snort: wonder if he still does that?
When he’s not totally ship-faced drunk he’s on cocaine or “poppers” (amyl nitrate), the damn drug hazed mental backet case.
once again, I present the “FatBoy” webpage, hosted by WRKO talk show host Howie Carr:
Only the good die young, therefore this bucket of putrid pig offal will survive to 100+ (he’s so full of preservatives).
So, here’s a idiot complaining about two people who are more intelligent than he is. Roberts and Alito proved they were more intelligent than almost every one on that committee. They did so with tact and dignity. Fat boy can’t take it when someone outsmarts him, so he has to resort to this kind of garbage. What a crock of crap.
