Having lived in an upstairs condo for over a decade, it’s a bit of a thrill finally being in a downstairs unit and having a bit of yard we can almost call our own.
It’s been snowing all day. We’ve got about 4” of heavy white stuff by now, and it’s still falling.
The wife is outside. She decided she’d shovel the walk, now that that fun was over she’s building a snowman. It’s a small one, and it’s fallen over a few times already.
I’m staying inside where it’s warm, working out the proper proportions for a Knob Creek Manhattan. Ah, yes, just 1/2oz of Noilly Pratt sweet vermouth, not a full oz. And perhaps 2 cherries? Let’s try and see. Yes, that works.
“Honey, put some snow around the base. Give him some feet so he can’t roll over on you.”
My little snow angel. Guess I’d better see if there’s any hot cocoa I can start up for when she comes in.
I suggest you have the cocoa READY when she comes up.
Happy New Year to you and yours from sunny Hawaii.
Aloha.
