WASHINGTON, Nov 14 (Reuters) – The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday said an Arkansas prison inmate should be allowed to maintain a beard while he contests the prison’s grooming policy.

In an unusual order, the court said that Gregory Holt, 38, should be allowed to grow a beard of up to one-half of an inch in length in accordance with his Muslim beliefs.

The court was responding to a handwritten request filed by Holt, who recounted his lengthy and unsuccessful attempt to fight the grooming policy.

Holt is serving a life sentence for burglary and domestic battery at the Varner Supermax prison, according to the Arkansas
Department of Correction’s website.

The Supreme Court’s order said Holt could keep his beard while he files a petition with the court seeking review of a June appeals court decision that went against him.

As linked above, “Holt also wrote how he wasn’t bound by American laws, but only recognized the Shariah law of Islam.” Apparently SCOTUS agrees with him, for now.

Muslim Brotherhood supporters disrupt London university lecture on Egypt

Well ... I guess finally and I doubt this will be the last time, a group of muzzie vermin managed to drive a speaker off a platform at a college.
They have brought the fight in Egypt here. There was no security and nobody able to stop them as ....  they stopped a speaker who apparent;y was not of their click and who didn’t share the same opinion.  So good muslims that they are, they shouted him down and made themselves masters of the hall that evening.

Coming to a college near you?  Oh yeah.  They will. Because the west is so weak, so appease and accommodation minded, that it will not use the measures necessary for its own survival.  Instead, the west will continue to show the face of fairness by charging one of its Marines with murder, just because he killed a taliban prisoner.  A little thing like that. My gosh.  You’d think he killed something human.

Foaming-at-the-mouth Muslim Brotherhood supporters storm London university lecture on Egypt

A guest lecture at a London university was shut down when Muslim thugs backing Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood and deposed president Mohamed Morsi forced the speaker off the stage.

London Evening Standard (h/t Susan K) Speaker Mohamed El-Nabawy had to be ushered off stage by security guards when around 30 demonstrators stormed a lecture theatre at Bloomsbury’s School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), which is part of the University of London. 
They were said to have targeted the public discussion, focusing on the challenges facing Egypt, because of Mr El-Nabawy’s ties to the Tamarod group which opposed ex President Mohammed Morsi. The movement played a key role in the ousting of Muslim Brotherhood-backed Morsi in June this year.

I’m thinking maybe I should have passed this one by, while assuming it first of all would not be new to you out there, and secondly it might be just another boring bad muzzie story. So on the off chance that many may not have read this, have a look at this.

I guess as long as they’re killing each other, no harm done.

In a sickening video posted on YouTube, soldiers from the Syrian-based group Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) were seen holding up the decapitated head of a soldier they believed was a supporter of President Bashar al-Assad.

But, after the footage was made public, the victim was recognised by an extremist as a fellow rebel fighter who had been wounded during a battle.

The militants have now asked for forgiveness.

The long view is to get a foothold in each Western country … the silent conquest

I ran across the video tonight and it certainly caught my interest.  Of course, there isn’t anything exactly new here.  Nothing we haven’t felt for a long time. As I watched and listened, I remembered the Tiger here at bmews had written something I saved. Must be a year ago. Almost.
So anyway .... I thought I’d borrow what he once posted as a comment, and use it as an intro to this video.

The long view is to get a foothold in each Western country, and lie to the host country’s citizens about Islam being peaceful.  They then work to get access to positions of power, while their people out-breed the host-country’s citizens.  As their population grows, they ratchet up the pressure from within until the society they invaded falls.

They’re becoming well entrenched in England, destroying the system from the inside using any means possible within the structure of the host country’s legal system (lawfare.) A system that favors socialism can be exploited quickly, by bankrupting the host country through benefits.

Where they feel they can get away with it, they break the law, threatening, assaulting, or even killing non-muslims.  Look at the Coptic Christians in Egypt, or Christians in other countries where Islam has taken power; it’s not a pretty picture.  Barbarity is common, often engaged in on a thinly trumped up pretence that has no basis in actual fact.

There is only so many “falling back” positions we can engage in.

This ends in one of two ways; submission to their Caliphate, or a serious pushback in a modern day sequel to the Crusades, which were a defensive pushback to Islam’s last major attempt to conquer the world.

British Jihadis Describe Their Aims for America After Syria Fight.

As if it needs to be confirmed. Again. btw ... At least one of these animals referred to as British, isn’t. He may have been born here, not even certain of that. But he isn’t a Brit. As for the ones who are .... what do I say?
One thing I do believe however.  They will if they get the chance the hand wringers on the left will give them.

I saw a good example of that the last couple of days reading and listening to the opinions and editorials regarding the Brit Marine who deleted a wounded taliban scum. And just today, in a piece about a Guantanamo prisoner who has had a diary published, or somehow smuggled out, I am not sure which as the article didn’t say. But Memphis Barker, the writer refers to him as the human jihadist. He does not excuse the mass killings. Not at all.
But he clearly is one of those who bemoan our holding terrorists there AND ... he says of the guy he is writing about, a guy who btw is guilty of the bombings of American tourist sites in Jordan in 1999, as a person ...

We have no choice but to regard his rights as a human being, and condemn the fact during his captivity the CIA hung him from a ceiling and waterboarded him 88 times.

Well woo-F*****g hoo Mr Barker.  It wouldn’t have bothered me if they’d killed the bastard.

‘We Will Bleed You to Death’: British Jihadis Describe Their Aims for America After Syria Fight

British men fighting alongside Al Qaeda-linked groups in Syria have said that after Syria, they aim to take the battle to the United States and Britain.

Vice News posted video with interviews of British men who traveled to the combat zone to pair up with the jihadi groups Jabhat al-Nusra (Nusra Front) and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

“I say to United States that your time will come and we will bleed you to death and, inshallah [Allah willing], will raise the flag in the White House,” a 26-year-old Briton told the Vice News interviewer.

“My feeling is great, hamdullallah (thank Allah), I’m happy I’m here. And I’m here to please Allah… and I’m not here to please anyone else but Allah,” he added, describing his aim as contributing to jihad on behalf of Muslims.

During the entire video, all of the men were masked, revealing only their eyes, and none provided their names.

A second British citizen blamed his government and prime minister for perpetrating “crimes” against Muslims. He tied his objectives with those of the killers of Lee Rigby, the British soldier who was hacked to death in the London neighborhood of Woolwich in May. The perpetrators – both Muslim converts – described their motives as revenge for the killing of Muslims by British forces serving in the Middle East.

“Like the guy in Woolwich, he explained that [Prime Minister] David Cameron would never walk on the street, and he’ll never get shot in the face, whereas you guys who are soldiers, or just normal folk, will take the blame for the crimes that are committed worldwide by Britain itself so we have to fight. It’s part of our obligation…to protect our honor, to protect our women,” the Syrian rebel from the UK said.

After Syria, the aim is “to bring back the honor of Islam from Filastine [Palestine] to Al Aqsa to all over the Muslim world, and Britain will be next,” said one of the British jihadis.

“From this land we will march toward the Al Aqsa mosque [in Jerusalem] in the name of Allah. Allahu Akbar! [Allah is the greatest],” said another.

The Vice News crew visited Syrian rebel outposts just over the Turkish border where fighters were focused on battling Kurdish nationalists, not the Assad regime.

Rebels from both the Nusra Front and ISIS made a show for the cameras of hugging, despite recent reports of a rift between them.

With so many volunteers from overseas, key members of the fighting units are the interpreters. One fighter explained that they have Dutch, English, French and Russian interpreters on hand.

One rebel strongly denied reports in the Arabic and Western media about the practice of so-called “sex jihad,” in which devout Muslim women allegedly have traveled to the Syrian frontlines for the pleasure of the radical fighters. He blamed Shi’ites for coming up with the idea.

The head of domestic intelligence for Britain’s MI5 intelligence agency, Andrew Parker, last week estimated that the number of British Al Qaeda sympathizers in Syria at in the “low hundreds.”

Speaking to the British parliament last week Parker said this was a “very important strand of the threat” the UK faced, the BBC reported.

terror suspect with 20 charges against him, wanted to sue this country.

Surely readers will remember this ..... person, from a previous post.

He walked out of a mosque wearing a burka and authorities are looking for him. But he’s been in custody before and it just makes one wonder who’s in charge here.
Anyway .... here’s an update sure to drive Brits with a working brain crazy.

Here was the headline from a day ago. Now keep in mind he is a terror suspect. Right I know.  Suspect doesn’t mean guilty automatically.
But when there’s as many as 20 charges against him, it’s a bit hard giving the bastard the benefit of any doubt.

He is currently suing the Government over claims he was tortured in Somalia, but lawyers today suggested that the proceedings should be blocked while he is still on the run.

Mohamed, 27, was seen leaving a mosque in West London last Friday dressed in a burka, and has not been located since after cutting off his electronic tag.

He was supposed to attend the Old Bailey today for a hearing about previous alleged breaches of his TPIM.

However, after he failed to turn up - leaving his own lawyer in the lurch - Mr Justice Nicol issued an arrest warrant.

The judge also lifted an anonymity order banning reporting of the 20 charges Mohamed faced before he disappeared.

One indictment included six counts of breaching his TPIM by failing to report to Action police station on a number of occasions in December last year.

I’ve ranted a lot and said often that the west just won’t defend itself. And certainly this country, this England won’t.  I guess what I mean to say is, they refuse to defend it in ways I believe they should.  Which okay on occasion may appear a bit over the top.  But in the age we live in, with the enemy we face both inside and outside borders, there are some rules and conventions that just should not apply.

An Iraqi terror suspect accused of plotting to blow up British soldiers could be allowed to return to this country after judges ruled he must be given his UK passport back.

Alleged explosives expert Hilal Al-Jedda was given asylum in this country in 1992 but returned home during the Iraq war where he was accused of plotting atrocities against coalition forces.

He was stripped of his British passport but appealed and yesterday won his case at the Supreme Court. Judges said taking his passport away was unlawful because it left him ‘stateless’ – in effect without a home country.

Al-Jedda, whose case is legally aided, has already won more than £50,000 in compensation and legal costs from the European Court of Human Rights over his three-year detention in Iraq by coalition forces. The court found his internment amounted to a breach of his right to liberty.

Now ministers face the prospect of having to issue a new passport and allow the father of eight and his family back in.

MPs reacted with fury to the judgment. James Clappison, a senior member of the Home Affairs Select Committee, said: ‘The public will be entitled to think there is something extremely wrong with the law in a case like this – when it appears national security and public safety cannot be properly taken into account.’ Al-Jedda, 56, came to the UK in 1992 with his first wife and sought asylum.

In 1998 they and their four children were given the right to remain here indefinitely and in 2000 were given British nationality. At that point, he automatically lost his Iraqi passport because the laws of that country did not allow dual nationals.

After divorcing his first wife he married again in 2002 and while still married took a third wife. He lives in Turkey with his third wife and all eight of his children. In September 2004 he left Britain for Iraq and was captured by US forces in Baghdad the following month. He was then transferred to the custody of British forces in Basra and held for three years.

On his release from the detention facility the then Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith, stripped him of his passport. Using legal aid, he launched a series of appeals to try to get it back. He won his case at the Court of Appeal last year which ‘reluctantly’ ruled in his favour.

One judge said the outcome was ‘deeply unsatisfactory’ because of the threat ministers say he poses to Britain. Judges were told the reason for stripping him of his passport was the ‘atrocities’ the Islamic terrorist group he belonged to planned against coalition soldiers. He is accused of recruiting terrorists and smuggling explosives and detonators for roadside bombs.

Home Secretary Theresa May appealed to the Supreme Court, which yesterday ruled he must be given his passport back.

Lawyers for Mrs May argued that Al-Jedda could have applied to the Iraqi authorities to restore his nationality and that he had a right to a new Iraqi passport.

The court found that British law does not allow the Secretary of State to strip someone of their passport if they do not have another – even if they could apply for one from another country.

Before the 2002 Asylum Act ministers could make someone stateless if they were considered a sufficient threat to Britain, but that power was revoked.

Lawyers for the Home Secretary have suggested that Al-Jedda has a real Iraqi passport and a valid grant of Iraqi nationality. This might allow her to further appeal the case. However his lawyers insist it is a fake one used to travel to Turkey in 2008.

A Home Office spokesman said:  ‘We are disappointed with the court’s decision. We are considering the judgment and our next steps in this case carefully.’

Yesterday I posted a story re. the further insanity of this place, allowing failed asylum seekers from the turd world to take flying lessons, all at the taxpayers expense. And not only that but the guy’s brother also is going to receive lots of money for education from the British cash cow. So that’s the general background for Drew’s posted comment on my post.

Mohammed Ahmed Mohamed: Burka fugitive is fanatical follower of White Widow

Terror suspect Mohammed Ahmed Mohamed is believed to be trying to flee the country and join up with his fanatical leader – White Widow Samantha Lewthwaite.

Counter-terrorism chiefs fear the 27-year-old fugitive, who has been on the run for four days, is heading for East Africa to become part of her jihadist cell.

He was last seen at around 3.15pm on Friday in Acton, West London – where he gave surveillance officers the slip by removing his electronic tag and sneaking out of a mosque dressed in a burka.

Mohamed was reportedly cleared of tampering with his electronic monitoring tag on the day he vanished.

Last night it was revealed that both he and Lewthwaite, the world’s most wanted female terrorist, were trained by al-Shabaab – the Islamic extremist group responsible for the Kenyan shopping mall massacre that left 67 dead.

A Kenyan intelligence file seen by the Mirror shows a direct link between Mohamed’s terror group and British-born Lewthwaite, the widow of 7/7 bomber Germaine Lindsay.

Mohamed is one of a small number of terror suspects whose movements are restricted by a court order because of the threat they pose to the public.

Worryingly, he is the second person under a Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures notice, to have absconded in the past year.

Nine such orders are in force.

His disappearance is a major blow to police and the security services.
It follows the disappearance of Ibrahim Magag who failed to return home on time to comply with his curfew. He has still not been found.

Concern: Mohamed is described as 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build
The Metropolitan Police said Mohamed attended the An-Noor Masjid Mosque in Acton, West London, at 10am on Friday.

Magag, 28, was the first person to go missing while on a TPIM.

It was later claimed he fled simply by jumping into a black cab.

The case prompted a review of how such terror suspects are monitored.

TPIMS are a watered down form of control order which allow the courts to place restrictions on a terror suspect’s behaviour.

They can be required to obey a curfew, are banned from mixing with named individuals and using the internet.

Control orders were watered down in 2011 following demands from the Lib Dems who said they breached civil liberties.

I know I’m way off topic on my own post but … I should share this also.

The Lib/Dems share power because there were just not enough votes in the last election to give power to the Conservatives. Hence the coalition govt.
One bit of credit to them however, is that in all previous elections including local, you see and hear from more L/Ds as opposed to the Tory (consrv.) Party.  They come to your house and introduce themselves, are willing to talk about issues etc.  Wife who did always vote Conservative, at a loss to understand why it is she never heard from the local consv. who btw, doesn’t even live more than a mile away if that much.  Lib/Dems get out there and try and get the vote.  TV ads in last national election didn’t hurt em either.

I think she’s voting UKIP next general election.  I know she did in the last local election.

Kinda hard for me to tell exactly where the first woman is from. That is, I’ve heard that accent before and my guess is that her former neighborhood was a gang infested place. Who knows, she may be better off where she is than where she’s from.
Anyway, just judging by her speech I’m not too surprised. Not very articulate and I find it impossible to believe she attended any college, unless some unaccredited institution that takes this sort. Or, since standards had been lowered to accommodate her class, I suppose it it possible.
What always surprises me are those like the second young woman who seem on the surface anyway to have some kind of working brain, to take up a religion and lifestyle so very different from the western norm.
Why leave a country that guarantees equality of the sexes, my god it’s written in stone here and America too, for a religion and a place where you will always be 2nd class and subordinate to the whims and fancy of the male.
I know there are those of both sexes who enjoy being dominated, but this seems a step over the top. 

Finally ....  okay.  Democracy is way short of perfect.  Freedom without any break or responsibility sucks and isn’t freedom at all.  That’s anarchy near as I can tell.  I don’t think most rational people, even barbarians like myself want anarchy.

ONLY in the UK are there Solicitors and Barristers willing to attempt these despicable methods of perverting and corrupting the genuine meaning of HUMAN RIGHTS! What human rights? He decided to plot to kill people then he gave up his human rights. Maybe someone should ask him where his victims’ human rights are.

It’s all about this.  And it’s maddening that anyone like this should even be heard by a court. Any court.  I don’t think he’ll go free. The courts may reject hearing him. Who knows?  And that question is a problem. Who knows? This filthy turd, this garbage in human form should not even be breathing.  This is another example of the west just not doing what it could, to protect itself.

The mastermind behind the ‘liquid bomb plot’, one of the most deadly terrorist plans ever to be unearthed in Britain, is making a bid to have his conviction overturned on human rights grounds.

Abdulla Ahmed Ali developed a home-made hydrogen peroxide bomb that could be disguised as a soft drink and taken on board a plane.

He and a group of associates planned to take the bombs aboard seven flights.

The discovery of his suicide plan in 2006 led to urgent changes to international restrictions on carrying fluids on to planes.

However, the al-Qaeda terrorist now claims his human rights were infringed by publicity before he was convicted for life for conspiracy to murder - and has appealed to the European Court of Human Rights.

He argues that the jury would have been prejudiced by coverage of a previous trial.

Although the Strasbourg court does not hold the power to quash the conviction, it would be extremely problematic for the Government if they ruled in the terrorist’s favour.

If Ali wins his case it would allow him and fellow plotters to begin an attempt in British to have their convictions quashed, using the European ruling to convince judges that their convictions were not fair.

Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph, Chris Grayling, the Justice Secretary, said the case highlighted why there was an urgent need for reform to human rights laws.

He also the case was evidence that the Strasbourg court was increasingly willing to interfere in Britain’s justice system.

‘This yet a further example of why things cannot go on as they are’, he said.

‘It is unacceptable to have a situation in which claims to the European Court of Human Rights are actually being used to undermine our justice system.

Even in the 19th century while Europe and America were beginning to benefit from the discoveries and industrial revolution of the period,

A young couple in conservative southern Afghanistan have been found beheaded, apparently killed for having a love affair outside of marriage, officials said Wednesday.

Police investigating the case said they believed the family of the woman, aged around 20, was responsible for the murders in the southern province of Helmand, a lawless hotbed of the Taliban insurgency.

The elder brother of the male victim, who was in his 20s, told officers the woman had run away with him recently and was living in their family home.

On Monday, 10 men broke into the house near the provincial capital Lashkar Gah and kidnapped the pair, police official Mohammad Ismail Hotak told AFP.

‘On Tuesday, local residents reported that there were two bodies in the graveyard. We went there and found them. Both were beheaded,’ he said.

‘From our investigations, we have found that the two had a love affair. We believe the family and relatives of the girl are behind the killing.’

The police official said the brother told investigators the dead man had loved the woman and wanted to marry her.

Omar Zwak, the provincial governor’s spokesman, confirmed the incident and said an investigation was under way.

Relations between young men and women outside marriage are taboo in Afghanistan, an extremely conservative nation with deep Islamic beliefs.

Most marriages are arranged by family elders, in some cases without the couples being consulted.

A man attempting to establish relations with a woman is seen as an insult to her family’s honour and often leads to violent revenge.

In such cases, the woman is often also killed for supposedly bringing shame to the family.

Last year, the UN reported that cases of honour killings were on the rise - a 20 per cent increase in civilian casualties was reported among women and girls in Afghanistan in 2012.
