I seriously hope some American patriot (won’t hold my breath) tracks down and puts a world of hurt on this filthy slag.

I hope she gets a cancer so painful that no drug will relieve it and that she won’t be able to die.

A female defense attorney, who is not Muslim, wore the traditional Islamic hijab to the military court staging the trial of five Guantanamo Bay prisoners accused of the September 11 attacks yesterday.

Cheryl Bormann, 52, who represents Walid bin Attash, said that her client had demanded she wear the clothing and insisted that other women at the hearing also wear ‘appropriate’ clothes out of respect for his religion.

Today she explained her decision at Guantanamo Bay, saying she always wears the hijab around her client.

She asked that other women follow her example so that the defendants do not have to avert their eyes ‘for fear of committing a sin under their faith’, according to Fox News.

The lawyer’s decision was one of the less controversial moments during Saturday’s hearing where at times the accused openly defied the court.

Proceedings were further delayed as one of the defendants, Waleed bin Attash, appeared while being restrained in his chair.

The restraints were later removed after defense counsel had given assurances that he would ‘behave’.

Another defendant, Ramzi Binalshibh, stood up, then knelt on the courtroom floor and prayed for several minutes as a row of guards in camouflage uniforms kept a close watch.

Mohammed and his co-defendants could all face the death penalty.

‘It’s actually a joke, it feels ridiculous,’ said Jim Riches, whose firefighter son, Jimmy, died at the World Trade Center.

Mr Riches watched the hearing from a movie theater at Fort Hamilton in New York City, one of four U.S. military bases where the arraignment was broadcast live for victims’ family members, survivors and emergency personnel who responded to the attacks.

‘It’s been a mess for 11 years,’ Riches said as he stood in the rain during a break in the proceedings and described the atmosphere inside.

Riches, himself a retired firefighter who worked digging up remains in the days after September 11, said he carried with him dark memories of the days after the attacks, and he hoped that if convicted the five men would be executed.

‘I saw what they did to our loved ones - crushed them to pieces,’ he said.

Just imagine if America was hit by drones

Heiress Jemima Khan says she was sitting with an ‘attentive, unassuming 16-year-old boy’ called Tariq Aziz at a protest meeting in Islamabad over the use of U.S. drones. Like others, he was given a free digital camera to record the damage they caused in his home area of Waziristan.

Three days later, she says, he was blown to pieces by a drone strike, one of more than 3,000 such fatalities caused by remote-controlled aircraft targeted by ground-based operatives in Nevada.

Ms Khan has a special interest: she was married to the Pakistani politician Imran Khan, with whom she has two children, one of them only a year younger than Tariq. She says there are now moves to bring legal action over drones against the U.S. ambassador in Pakistan.

If, as she says, the U.S. is killing hundreds, if not thousands, of innocent people in Pakistan using drone attacks, and 97 per cent of Pakistanis are against this form of warfare, couldn’t more be done internationally to investigate this carnage?

Elsewhere in the world, the killing of innocent people by governments, or regimes, attracts the attention of the International Court at The Hague. Why doesn’t this happen with drone attacks, or the several U.S. outrages against civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Because, it seems, there’s one law for the U.S., and another for everyone else.

As the philosopher-turned-politician Michael Ignatieff writes in the current New York Review Of Books: ‘From Nuremberg onwards, no country has invested more in the development of international jurisdiction for atrocity crimes and no country has worked harder to make sure that the law it seeks for others does not apply to itself.’

The drone targeted the prominent Al-Qaeda leader while he was riding in his SUV.

Great. Just what we need.  Not just more of the same vermin, but yet another sect of them.  Got this today from German site that I visit from time to time.
Until today, I hadn’t come across the word, ‘Salafists.’ Have you?
Not good news. Not for the Germans and certainly not for anyone else in the west.

Apparently the Germans are at wits end on how to deal with this latest threat to their country and culture.  How times change in 70 or so years. 
The Nazi stiff armed salute can land you in jail and so can denying the Holocaust.
Seems to me that these scum are a much greater threat then whatever deniers are out there giving a dead salute. 

A little bit of 1939 in dealing with their growing and one day majority population would solve this bit of bother.  Nail it while that’s all it is. A bother.  Because it won’t be too long before they are far more then that. 

They are a terminal infection that will spread and infect the whole body if it isn’t ripped out now. We know it won’t happen of course, even though the Germans have finally found and publicly said that their grand experiment with multi-kulture, has failed.  Of course it has failed. There was never a chance in hell of it working in any way except against them.

Salafists in Germany have attracted increasing attention in recent weeks with their campaign to hand out millions of free Korans. What, though, is their ultimate goal? Some sell Islamism like it is pop-culture and openly call for holy war, even under the watchful eye of the authorities.

Mohamed Mahmoud sits on his bed and tries to keep his cat away from his visitor. He is wearing the Pakistani traditional dress known as shalwar kameez, and light-brown pakol, the hat worn by Pashtuns. “The Prophet Muhammad also had a cat,” says the 26-year-old with a smile, sensing our surprise.

On the wall behind him is a black flag of the sort often seen in videos from al-Qaida and similar organizations, with the creed of the Muslim faith written on it in Arab letters: There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the messenger of God. “My goal in life is victory or shahada, the martyr’s death,” says Mahmoud, who has made a name for himself in the global jihadist movement as Abu Usama al-Gharib.

Despite appearances, however, Mahmoud is not a mujahid in the Hindu Kush. Rather, he is sitting in a studio apartment in a small city near Frankfurt. The apartment building is in the center of the town, next to a pharmacy and a Turkish diner. For him, the world outside is the world of the “kuffar,” or infidels.

Mahmoud has a single mission: He wants to convert the infidels to Salafism, the ultra conservative interpretation of the Koran that has triggered a debate in Germany over the limits of religious freedom.

“That’s what I stand for, and that’s what I’ll die for,” says Mahmoud, born in Austria to Egyptian immigrant parents. So far, he feels that society hasn’t understood him and his religious zeal. But most great leaders, he says, only gained true recognition after death.

Mahmoud also sees himself as a leader, an appointee of Allah in the diaspora. He is in enemy country, and religion is his combat zone. In the world that he wants to establish in Western Europe, there would be stonings and floggings. Mahmoud and his radical comrades-in-arms are fighting for a sort of European caliphate governed by the Shariah instead of secular law. To that end, he is building a nationwide network in Germany called “Millatu-Ibrahim,” which supports the actions of Frankfurt imam Ibrahim Abou Nagie, whose helpers are currently handing out free Korans in the downtown pedestrian zones of German cities.
Provocation and Agitation
Men like Abou Nagie, Mahmoud and his friend Denis Cuspert, a former gangsta rapper who is now proselytizing at Mahmoud’s side, represent a challenge to democracy. They use words as weapons, and they take advantage of the leeway afforded by freedom of expression in a society that treats religious freedom as an important value. They stretch the constitutional state to its absolute limit, and sometimes beyond, with their acts of provocation and agitation.

Salafism “doesn’t fit into a free society, like the one we have here in Germany,” says German Interior Minister Hans-Peter Friedrich, a member of the conservative Christian Social Union (CSU). But even Friedrich lacks a strategy for dealing with bearded young men wearing long robes, and holding German passports, who have been distributing the Koran in Germany for several weeks now, just as the Jehovah’s Witnesses once distributed their religious magazine, The Watchtower.

The conflict with agitators like Mahmoud and Abu Nagie is one being waged with administrative sanctions, the law and surveillance. It also, however, represents an attempt to grapple with the question as to what motivates the Salafists and why their message is reaching an astonishingly large number of young people.

To understand the fascination that such an archaic version of Islam can have, and how it is preached today, one has to listen to young men like Mahmoud.
On his computer in his apartment, there is an appeal to break Filiz Gelowicz out of prison. Filiz is the wife of Fritz Gelowicz, one of the terrorists convicted in 2010 of planning to attack US military installations in Germany. She is in prison for having raised money for jihad. “How can I, as a Muslim, sleep in peace or eat when my sisters in prison are suffering?” Mahmoud asks. His eyes well up with tears and he buries his face in his hands. Mahmoud becomes intoxicated with revolutionary pathos. The front line, for him, is where good mujahedin are pitted against bad Christians.

TOULOUSE, France - An Islamic extremist who boasted of killing seven people to strike back at France died after being shot in the head by police as he jumped out of his apartment after a fierce gunfight with police, authorities said.

His dramatic death ended a more than 32-hour standoff with an elite police squad trying to capture him alive. The suspect, 23-year-old Mohamed Merah, was wanted in the deaths of three paratroopers, three Jewish schoolchildren and a rabbi — all killed since March 11 in what he reportedly told police was an attempt to “bring France to its knees.”

Prosecutor Francois Molins said Merah, a French citizen of Algerian descent who claimed links to al Qaeda, burst out of his bathroom when police entered his apartment Thursday morning, wildly firing his handgun about 30 times and jumping out an apartment window.

Merah continued to fire “until he was hit by a retaliatory shot from the RAID (elite police unit), which felled him with a bullet to the head,” Molins said.

Holed up alone in an otherwise evacuated apartment building, Merah clung to his few remaining assets, like a small arsenal and authorities’ hopes of taking him alive. He appeared to toy with police negotiators—first saying he would surrender in the afternoon, then under the cover of darkness, then reneging on those pledges altogether, officials said.

the suspect had plans to kill another soldier—prompting the police raid at around 3 a.m. Wednesday. After it erupted into a firefight, wounding two police, a standoff ensued, with on-and-off negotiations with the suspect that lasted through the night.

“The killer came out of the bathroom, firing with extreme violence,” Claude Gueant, the interior minister, said, adding that the RAID squad had “never seen an assault like it.”

“Mohamed Merah jumped out the window, gun in hand, continuing to fire. He was found dead on the ground,” Gueant said.

Gueant earlier had said police wanted to capture Merah alive.

Reuters reported that explosions and gunfire were heard for about four minutes as police special forces moved in on the apartment. Authorities used gas to try and paralyze the suspect, the report said.

Prosecutor Francois Molins confirmed in a news conference that a police marksman had killed Merah as he tried to jump out of the bathroom window.

“The examination of the body shows that he was shot in the head and that he was wearing a bullet-proof vest,” Mr Molins said, “and had a gun covered by a pair of jeans.”

“Material to make Molotov cocktails were found on his balcony.”

Mr Molins said a Colt 45 handgun was found next to his body, and he estimated that Merah had fired 30 bullets as the commandos broke in.

Get out the shovels and the squeegees, and throw his remains into the dustbin of history.

The older brother of the self-confessed Al Qaeda terrorist thought to have murdered seven people across south west France over the past two weeks has been arrested.

Abdelkader Mera, 27, was detained this afternoon some 10 hours after a 3am raid when 300 armed police dramatically swooped on his 24-year-old brother Mohammed’s Toulouse home.

Three officers were injured this morning in an ensuing firefight - and Mohammed is now cornered and under siege.

And the story just keeps on getting worse: suspect is a sword wielding kidnapper

Suspected serial killer Mohammed Mera, who broke out of an Afghanistan jail in 2008 as part of a mass Taliban escape, once kidnapped another man, it has been reported. A close family friend of the 24-year-old suspect told Le Parisien she knew him well while in the city’s Izards housing estate.

The woman, Laela, said: ‘He was well known to the police. Around two years ago he kidnapped a young person on the estate.

‘I remember that the mother of the boy in question was wandering around the estate trying to find him. ‘Finally, her son was freed. And I’m convinced then a complaint was lodged, and Mohammed was heard by investigating officers.’

Following the kidnapping, for which he was never charged, he is said to have ‘crossed the estate in combat gear, with a sword in his hand shouting ‘Al Qaeda, Al Qaeda!’.

The police siege has been going on for hours now, with 3 cops wounded so far. The suspect is believed to still be in the apartment building. Further updates when they occur.

This article completely ignores the bit of news that the guy is Taliban, and an escapee from a prison in Afghanistan. And he’s made several trips to Afghanistan and Pakistan since coming to France 4 years ago. And he’s over here with mommy, and at least one brother? Oh, they were just fleeing a war zone looking for a better life and a chance to start all over again? Bullshit. Sleeper agents, the whole damn family.

Oh, and the “powerful motorcycle” used in these killings ... is a scooter. Granted, it’s a euro-scooter, a strange thing they call a maxi-scooter, which is a giant 500lb thing with full coverage swoopy fairings, saddle bag boxes, a glove box, etc., “suitable for touring”. Powered by a 530cc 2 cylinder twin that makes 43hp and a 2 speed automatic transmission. Fuel injected and computer controlled. O-60 in 11 seconds, 45mpg. $14,000 with built-in GPS tracking device, which is what French cops used to find the guy. TMAX scooter review, and another one in really fractured English.

A small update from CNN as more details emerge ...

He had been under surveillance by French intelligence for years, the interior minister said.

He had “already committed certain infractions, some with violence,” Gueant said.

He was in a Toulouse court February 24 for causing an accident with injuries and driving without a license and served some time in jail, CNN affiliate BFM-TV reported.

Gueant said the suspect had a car containing more weapons near his apartment.

The suspect’s lawyer, Christian Etelin, said Merah went to Afghanistan two years ago.

The suspect belongs to a group called Forsane Alizza, or Knights of Glory, Gueant said. The French government banned the group in January for trying to recruit people to fight in Afghanistan.

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad strongly rejected using his people as a justification for the French killings, calling them a “cowardly terrorist attack.”

“It is time for those criminals to stop exploiting the name of Palestine through their terrorist actions,” Fayyad said in a statement.

Probably a smart act on Fayyad’s part; the murdered Jewish children and their father were laid to rest in Israel, and the Izzies are REALLY PISSED.

I had no time early today to do more then posted, and no time to download photo I thought you should see.  It isn’t that the murder of others is less. The killing of those other children is heartbreaking. But truth to tell, and I don’t know why, but the brutal and cold blooded murder at point blank range of an 8 year old girl who btw was chased down and cornered, somehow the poignancy seems almost more striking.  I hope I’m not putting it too badly and hope you understand.
Anyway .....  Her name was Miriam. The biblical Miriam was elder sister to Moses, and helped hide the baby in the bulrushes.

Toulouse Killer Likely Filmed Attack, Executed Little Girl

A tragic update to a tragic story.

Police now say the killer of four Jews in Toulouse likely filmed the attack with a a camera attached to his chest and methodically stalked his victims, murdering a little girl in cold blood.

According to eyewitness accounts, after the killer entered the Jewish Ozar HaTorah school, he chased after 7-year-old Miriam Monsonego and shot her repeatedly.

He grabbed Miriam as she tried to escape, grasped her hair and shot her. Then, as she bled to death on the floor, he lifted up her head and fired two additional bullets.

The brutality of the crime—which also took the lives of Rabbi Jonathan Sandler, 30, and his two sons, Gabriel, 6, and Arieh, 3,—has led French police to suspect a violent, racist intent behind the attacks.

In a bizarre and macbre development, French police also say the killer seems to have filmed the attacks.

Given that they are raised on Political Correctness from birth, and given the wide range of Jew hating groups they have to choose from, French police originally thought that these horrible crimes were perpetrated by neo-Nazis. But filming the murders? No dark humor intended, but that’s a dead giveaway that they’re dealing with jihadis. I’m sure some “suicide bomber farewell videos” will turn up at the creep’s apartment. They always do.

The world needs a purge.

Europe banned the controversial airport ‘strip-search’ scanners last year.

First of all, if this is factually on the ball then it is scary indeed.
Question comes to mind. If he could do it, then why haven’t the terrorists already come up with it?
More importantly, isn’t letting this stuff out in public only aiding the enemy?

Controversial nude body scanners used at U.S. airports have come under fire again - after a blogger claimed he could easily smuggle explosives through them onto a plane.

Engineer Jonathan Corbett has published a video where he shows how he took a small metal case through two of the TSA’s $1billion fleet in a special side pocket stitched into his shirt.

This is because, he suggests, the scanners blend metallic areas into the dark background - so if an object is not directly placed on the body, it will not show up on the scan.

The metallic box, he claims, would have set off an alarm had he passed through the old detecting system.

His revelation comes just weeks after Europe banned the ‘airport strip-searches’ over fears the X-ray technology could cause cancer.

MailOnline has decided not to publish the video because it details exactly how to circumvent the safety procedure - but it is freely available to watch online.

Corbett, standing in his living room as he speaks to the camera in the video for his ‘TSA Out of Our Pants’ blog, acknowledges the technique could be used by terrorists.

But he believes they would already know about the loophole, and took the steps to show ‘how much danger the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is putting all us all in’.

He said: ‘Here are several images produced by TSA nude body scanners. You’ll see that the search victim is drawn with light colours and placed on a black background in both images.

‘In these samples, the individuals are concealing metallic objects that you can see as a black shape on their light figure.  Again that’s light figure, black background, and black threat items.

‘Yes that’s right, if you have a metallic object on your side, it will be the same colour as the background and therefore completely invisible to both visual and automated inspection.

‘It can’t possibly be that easy to beat the TSA’s billion dollar fleet of nude body scanners, right? The TSA can’t be that stupid, can they? Unfortunately, they can, and they are.’

He said he put his theory to the test by buying a sewing kit to sew a pocket directly onto the side of his shirt. He then took a metallic case and walked through a backscatter X-ray at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport - all of which he recorded on film.

He said: ‘While I’m not about to win any videography awards for my hidden camera footage, you can watch as I walk through the security line with the metal object in my new side pocket.

EYE CANDY. WHAT A MARINE SHOULD BE KISSING. AND ONE DOES.  THIS POST IS PERSONAL.

This one is personal.  And it’s the only photo I have left of the many I took. This is a scan of the original.

I took this shot maybe 30 yrs ago, and developed in my own darkroom. I am privileged to know her and to still be a friend.  I once produced her records and no, we never made the Billboard charts. I was also her road manager on a grinding tour here in the UK that I set up. I used to book country singers for tours over here after I left radio.  I must tell you that I have never known anyone with such iron indiscipline, and although older then her she sure managed to teach me a few things about planning.  Long story and of no importance here.

She is a very religious woman and active in her church and always has been. She isn’t a johnny come lately who has suddenly been reborn.

She’s married to a decorated (bravery) Marine and Viet Nam vet.

She’s also as much at home with power tools as she is with guns, and has built either on her own or with her husband, improvements and extensions to their home.  And she’s pretty damn smart.  Trust me on that.  She was never a dumb blonde.  But lord she did look wonderful in a mini or a bikini. Oh yeah, she also made many of her own cloths including stage wear. 

I’ve been wanting to post this photo for a long time but for one reason or another I just never got around to it. Of course, I had to find it first. It’s been packed away with other things and mementos for years. 

Well, yesterday I sent something to Drew which he posted a link to.  Could not bring myself to do it. Then this morning when I booted, I found something from her in my inbox, you folks might have already seen it if it’s making the rounds of emails.  But since it’s Marine inspired I felt I should post her photo along with what she sent to me.

In another note from her some time ago when I shared a gun thing that Drew wrote about, she sent me this line.

Yeah, husband carries a NAA 22 mag that has a barrell about 3/4 inch longer than the pug and I carry a NAA Black Widow in my purse.  We both have conceal carry permits.

It comes in various sizes: Generally from .223 to .50

Can torture be morally right?  Don’t really care. Anyone else or am I the lone ranger?

I have run somewhat out of time today. Too much more to do at the house with things that should have been taken care of long ago. My bad I guess.

Started yesterday and made great headway.  Plan now is to keep up with things better then I have in the past. And I think I can do it. Just a matter of not being so damn lazy about some things need doing.  And one thing needs doing is sharing this article.
I’m even late posting it now.

Can torture be morally right?

Both sides were defiant and unrepentant. When President George W. Bush was asked for permission to ‘waterboard’ the Al Qaeda terrorist and 9/11 mastermind, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, to obtain vital information, his thoughts turned not only to the thousands who died in the Twin Towers but also to Daniel Pearl, the kidnapped American journalist whose head Khalid admitted hacking off with his own hand.

‘Damn right! Get on with it!’ Bush said. Writing later about his duty to protect the United States from another terror attack, he said: ‘And I’d do it again.’

Meanwhile, behind bars in Guantanamo Bay, the U.S. detention centre for terror suspects, the fanatical (and egotistical) Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was equally impenitent.

He was happy to admit his part as ‘principal planner’ of 9/11 and to link his name to almost every terrorist outrage in recent years, as if trying to prove himself a bigger threat than his nominal chief, Osama Bin Laden.

And would the self-confessed killer do it all again, if given the chance? The answer was an unqualified ‘yes’ — as part of his jihad (‘holy war’) against America and all the infidel nation stood for.

Unlike Bush, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed wallowed in his brutality. When Daniel Pearl was killed, the process of cutting off his head with a knife was halted after it had begun because the video camera (recording the slaughter for dissemination round the world) wasn’t working.

Once it was fixed, the gruesome task resumed. Who knows what pain the American suffered before he died, but waterboarding (a simulation of drowning that produces panic and pain) must have been almost benign by comparison.

Here, in a nutshell, is the crucial battleground of the 21st century. How far can a nation stretch its own hard-won traditions of law and justice in order to combat terrorism that knows no boundaries, either geographical or ethical, in its hate-driven crusade to wipe its supposed enemies off the face of the earth?

This uncomfortable moral dilemma — perhaps the most pressing of our troubled times — is tackled in a new book by the British writer and journalist William Shawcross.

In Bush’s words, ‘they represent no nation, defend no territory, and wear no uniform. They do not mass armies on borders, or flotillas of warships on the high seas.
‘They operate in the shadows of society; they send small teams of operatives to infiltrate free nations; they live quietly among their victims; they conspire in secret; and then they strike without warning.’
Despite this threat, the West is emphatically not entitled to respond in kind. The sort of disregard for human life that characterised U.S. actions in Vietnam cannot be repeated. But, if the Al Qaeda threat is to be successfully countered, the gloves have to be eased off a little.

BULLSHIT!!!  Ease off? Ease?  No freekin way.  Mass kill the bastards the same way you’d spray a wasp’s nest or a roach infestation.

It’s a good article and a book review and thought provoking.  I suppose my problem is a lack of patience.  I just want us to bomb where they live and stuff collateral damage.  I don’t really care.

A POLITICALLY CORRECT MILITARY ?

This article shows you what a politically correct culture will lead to.

Living here as I do, and with an army training base hidden behind many trees and high hedges and a chain link fence just at the end of our road, and often seeing young fellows (and some not so young) running up a steep hill in the summer in full uniform, sometimes with packs on their backs, and having read Brit history and still do, and having military news in our papers all the time, it might be fair to say that I am quite pro military and always have been impressed with their history.

What I see happening here as you will read below, is I am sure taking place in the USA as well.  Damn shame that. 
And no Thatcher or Churchill to save the day.  No Truman to authorize the use of the bomb.  No Teddy wielding a large stick or a Reagan to unite most of us.

Tell the truth.

Hero Para faces £250,000 court martial for punching Taliban PoW as he fled

A paratrooper with an unblemished service record is being hauled through the military courts for punching a Taliban member who was trying to escape.

Astonishingly, the case is going ahead even though the Afghan captive has refused to make a formal complaint, and there are no other witnesses to the incident.

The case is estimated to have cost the taxpayer £250,000 already and threatens to plunge the Forces into a new row over political correctness.

The soldier, known for legal reasons as Corporal C, hit the insurgent once in the face believing he was trying to flee during a firefight in the badlands of Helmand Province.

British military prosecutors admit that the captive, Ahmed Wali, has provided evidence that is ‘unreliable’.

But the Service Prosecuting Authority refuses to drop the case and has charged Cpl C – described as a man of ‘impeccable character’ – with assault. He is due to appear at a court martial later this month.

But his legal team has made an application to the High Court for judicial review of the decision to prosecute him in an attempt to have the case thrown out.

Last year three judges, who were asked to review the evidence at the Court Martial Appeal Court in London, expressed concern about the case and branded it ‘unfortunate’ saying it was a ‘large hammer [to deal] with a relatively minor matter’.

Legal experts believe there is no realistic chance of Cpl C, 31, from Glasgow being convicted because of holes in the SPA’s case.

The soldier risked his life serving with distinction in Iraq and Afghanistan with the elite Parachute Regiment.

His name is being kept secret because he served alongside special forces.

Cpl C, who quit the forces in disgust at his treatment, was a qualified tactical questioner with the Paras when the incident happened in March 2010.

He was commanding a joint British and Afghan patrol which set up a vehicle checkpoint in Nahr-e Saraj, a Taliban stronghold strewn with deadly roadside bombs.

The patrol stopped a motorbike carrying two Afghan men who were acting suspiciously.

As an Afghan National Army soldier approached the men, the rider pulled out a pistol and pointed it at him. The gun-wielding insurgent was shot dead, while his pillion passenger, Wali, was taken to a nearby compound.

Cpl C began to interrogate Wali – who denied he was a Taliban member – despite the ‘real threat by small arms and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to the patrol’.

The links are provided should anyone want to read the full stories.  You’d think we’d all be tired of this kind of thing by now. Well, yes. It is about the same old same old. But ..... it’s happening right here and it’s on going.  Emotions run the gamut from concern to fright to downright anger. And of course frustration.
Lots and lots of that.  Seem Europa and it’s union and too many Brit lawyers and civil rights types, are very concerned about the rights of the vermin shown here and less about the right to life of the many victims these bastards would enjoy taking away. And in the most horrific manner they could arrange.
Terrorists may be mad dogs, they may want to return to the dark ages, they are filthy, grubby and unwashed looking creeps.
But they most certainly are not stupid. Well not all of them are.  But even the dumbest among them doesn’t require a degree to turn himself into a flaming bomb at the behest of these scum. They know how the west works (and doesn’t work) and how to use the western system against itself. They are smart enough for that. And those who aren’t have smart lawyers clearing a path for them.  And not only that.  How’s this strike you?

Here’s a story regarding a group of MPs (Members of Parliament). 

MPs visit Abu Hamza at Belmarsh to canvass his views for a report. He is referred to respectfully throughout as ‘Mr Abu Hamza’ Here’s a guy who says that it’s perfectly okay to kill anyone for no other reason then they aren’t muslims. 

These animals shouldn’t be given refuge anywhere and when caught should be deleted with extreme prejudice.  And fuck the ass-wipes at the Euro-pee-on court of human rights.  Deleting them might not be a bad idea either.

A group of MPs who visited hate-preacher Abu Hamza in his jail cell have published his views in an official report.
Members of the home affairs select committee went to high-security Belmarsh prison to interview the cleric who was jailed after telling his followers that the murder of non-Muslims was justified ‘even if there is no reason’.
Their report on violent radicalism is published today and includes an uncritical summary of Hamza’s comments. He is referred to respectfully throughout as ‘Mr Abu Hamza’.

Families of terror attack victims condemned the committee and its chairman, Labour MP Keith Vaz. Graham Foulkes, whose 22-year-old son David was murdered in the Edgware Road bombing on July 7, 2005, said the visit was ‘deeply inappropriate’.
He said: ‘I think what they are doing by visiting him in jail is legitimising his claims and his beliefs, which are to kill and maim men and women and to destroy our society.
‘The worrying thing is that as a result Hamza will tell his followers, “Look, they are taking me seriously”.’

‘Shoe-bomb’ terrorist to be released from jail on opening day of the Olympic Games

The notorious terrorist who plotted a shoe-bomb attack on a plane is to be freed from jail just hours before the Olympic Games begin.
Saajid Badat’s release will only add to security fears at the high-profile event in London, which opens on July 27.
The 32-year-old was jailed for 13 years in 2005 after conspiring with two other radical Muslims to blow up a passenger jet - but he will be released after serving just eight years and eight months.
The religious teacher from Gloucester admitted to conspiring with Brit Richard Reid and Belgian terrorist Nizar Trabelsi to blow up flights to the U.S. in 2001.

But now he is due to be freed two-thirds of the way through his sentenceon the official opening day of the biggest sporting event in the world, according to the Daily Mirror.
People are furious this guy is being released on that day but it’s just a quirk of fate,’ said a security source.

He had even booked a ticket for a flight from Amsterdam to the U.S., but he had a last-minute change of heart and never boarded the plane.
His fellow plotter Reid was overpowered by fellow passengers on a flight from Paris to Miami while trying to detonate the bomb in his shoes, and is now serving a life sentence in America.

Lawyers are arguing he should be released on bail after being held for six and a half years

Hate preacher Abu Qatada could today walk free from prison to a life on benefits with his wife and five children.

Qatada, who has cost the UK taxpayer more than £1million in benefits, prison and legal fees, is currently being held at Long Lartin high security prison in Worcestershire after breaching previous bail terms.

British diplomats continue to seek assurances from the Jordanian authorities that evidence gained through torture would not be used against him.

The issue was the key reason why Qatada won an appeal to the European Court of Human Rights last month.

The judges ruled that sending Qatada back to face terror charges without such assurances would deny him his right to a fair trial and be a ‘flagrant denial of justice’.

Mrs May vowed that Qatada, who has been held for six and a half years, would be kept behind bars while she considered all legal options to send him back and the Home Office said he ‘poses a real risk to national security’.

But Qatada’s defence team convinced an immigration judge to release him at a hearing in central London.

Police have broken up a terrorist ring. But damn it, these filthy sub human muslim scum can be out and free in 6 years.  Why? Because .... well here.

Some of these sub humans are Brit born.  Some would say they’re actually British as well as human.  Well some would be mistaken.

Interesting however. How times and attitudes change with the help of the weepy eyed left.

After WW2, the Brits murdered a fellow known as Lord Haw-Haw. OK, They executed him then, for treason. Thing is though, he was not a Brit nor was he a Brit citizen, having accepted German citizenship.  He was in fact, an American originally.  But the victors in any war require blood revenge and so they killed him.
In actual fact btw, his wife was closer to committing treason as she was Brit born and raised. I guess her role working for the Germans was lesser. ??
He made propaganda broadcasts that most Brits laughed at, they were usually so bizarre.

So fast forward to 2012 and guys who were plotting to kill on a grand scale and support foreign terrorists though born here, go to jail for a few years and then will be free.  I guess what these vermin were planning wasn’t treason.  ??????
My take?  After the war the left wanted Haw-Haw dead.  Today the left wants to keep these scum alive cos killing them might violate some sort of rights issue.

A terror gang who planned a Mumbai-style bomb blitz in London could walk free in less than six years after striking an extraordinary 11th-hour plea bargain.

The four Muslim fanatics intended to unleash a Christmas campaign of atrocities with targets including the Stock Exchange, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Palace of Westminster and the London Eye.

They and five others had been facing a five-month trial at Woolwich Crown Court and could have expected sentences of 20 years.

But at the 11th hour they decided to plead guilty after a judge indicated they would receive lesser sentences for admitting the plot.

The Crown wanted to avoid both the estimated £2.5million cost of a high-security trial and the possibility of acquittals.

So a rare so-called ‘Goodyear’ direction hearing was arranged in which defence barristers receive guidance from the judge about how long he plans to jail those accused if they admit their guilt.

In this case, Mr Justice Wilkie suggested ringleader Mohammed Chowdhury, 21, would receive no more than 13½ years and his 28-year-old accomplice, Shah Rahman, 12 years.

He said the case did not merit an indefinite imprisonment for public protection because their plans were not developed, and he took account of Chowdhury’s youth.

Chowdhury is likely to spend less than half of his sentence behind bars owing to time already served on remand, while Rahman can expect to be out in five years.

Following the Goodyear hearing, others who had lesser roles in the plot swiftly pleaded guilty knowing that they would attract even more lenient jail terms when they are sentenced next week.

Tory MP Patrick Mercer said a term of five or six years ‘does not seem particularly serious’ for acts of terrorism which could have killed many innocent people.

The Unlearned Lessons of Daniel Pearl’s Murder

Ten years ago this week, Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped by Islamic terrorists in Pakistan, after he had been lured into what he thought was an interview with Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani about the links between al Qaeda and the “shoe bomber” Richard Reid. The shadowy Pakistani group that kidnapped Pearl accused him of being a spy for the CIA, and made several demands, including the release of Pakistani detainees from Guantanamo. Nine days later, Pearl was murdered and beheaded, and on February 21, a video was released called “The Slaughter of the Spy-Journalist, the Jew Daniel Pearl.”

The footage showed Pearl’s “confession” and brutal decapitation, interspersed with images of dead Muslims, George Bush shaking hands with Ariel Sharon, and Palestinians allegedly killed by Israeli Defense Forces, including 12-year-old Muhammad al-Dura, whose death was later exposed as a Palestinian fabrication. Later, captured 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed would brag to interrogators that he personally had beheaded Pearl. As for his abductor, Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, though tried and condemned to death, still lives in a Pakistani jail cell, from which according to some reports he has planned other terrorist attacks.

The killing of Pearl concentrated much of what Andrew McCarthy calls the “willful blindness” of many in the West to the Islamic roots of the perpetrators’ violence. At the time, most of the media mainly decried Pearl’s death because he was a reporter. Worse yet were the comments that scolded the terrorists for not understanding that American journalists are neutral observers whose impartiality could help them get their story out.  As a New York Times editorial put it,
“The terrible irony of Mr. Pearl’s murder is that he and other independent journalists have been trying to present a detailed and informed portrait of the mindset, motives and grievances of the Islamic fundamentalists in the wake of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11 and the war in Afghanistan. That work will continue despite the killing, but the kidnappers have only undermined their cause by their acts.”

The professional corruption of the mainstream-media was revealed in this statement, with its claims that journalists are objective (mostly false) and have no loyalties to their own country and people (mostly true), and that the murderers had a legitimate “cause” and “grievances” (moral idiocy and cowardice).

Taliban executes 15 Pakistani soldiers.

Nose buried in weekend papers and mags but this article comes from the net. No surprise.  Less then an hour ago.

These are the folks our troops are ordered to treat ‘humanely.’

A video showing fifteen Pakistani soldiers being lined up and shot dead by a firing squad has been released by the Taliban.

The paramilitary troops were abducted on December 23 in what the terror group described as an operation to avenge the deaths of insurgents in Pakistan.

The release of the horrific video is intended to serve as a warning to Pakistan’s 600,000-member army, which has failed to break the back of the insurgents despite superior firepower and a series of offensives against their strongholds in mountain regions.

The abducted soldiers were stood blindfolded, handcuffed to each other on a barren hilltop as one of their bearded Taliban captors held an AK-47 rifle and spoke with fury about revenge.

‘Twelve of our comrades were besieged and mercilessly martyred in the Khyber Agency (area),’ said the militant.

‘Our pious women were also targeted. To avenge those comrades, we will kill these men. We warn the government of Pakistan that if the killing of our friends is not halted, this will be the fate of you all.’

Before death, one of the men described how dozens of Taliban fighters stormed their fort in the northwestern Tank district and kidnapped the soldiers.

‘They attacked us with rockets, killed a sentry. One ran away. The Taliban entered the fort and captured us with our weapons,’ he said, sitting in rows with other soldiers with their arms folded and legs crossed in front of Taliban banners.

‘They tied our hands, put us in a Datsun and took us away.’

More of the same.
The court in Europe tells Brits they can’t deport terror suspect, cause Jordan might abuse him.
While in another case dealing with a life term in prisons for killers, thankful Brit legal eagles had this to say.

“We are pleased that the European court has upheld the whole life tariff as a legitimate sentence in British courts.”

That’s nice.  A European court being thanked for backing an English one. 

The day will come, can’t hold any breath on it of course, but the day may very well dawn when Americans will wake up and find the left has finally tied America to foreign courts.  Or closer ties that bind with the UN.  Hey, I just do not trust the left. I would not put anything past em, and they always seem to have the finance and the organization to do what they want.

Meanwhile, it’s being reported that young boys in Afghanistan that are recruited as suicide bombers, are being told that when the bombs go off, they will not be hurt. Only the infidels will die. They are fed anti-Western and anti- Afghan govt. propaganda until they’re prepared to kill.  The kids are mostly illiterate, but a few have had second thoughts about promises that they will not be hurt.

Abu Qatada cannot be deported to Jordan, European judges rule

Abu Qatada, once described as “Osama bin Laden’s right hand man in Europe”, cannot be extradited to Jordan, the European Court of Human Rights has ruled.

In a landmark judgment, the court said that Qatada would not receive a fair trial if he was returned to his native Jordan where he faces charges that he plotted bomb attacks on two hotels and providing finance and advice for another series of bomb attacks to coincide with the Millennium.

The court said there would be a violation of his right to a fair trial under Article Six of the European Convention of Human Rights, “given the real risk of the admission of evidence obtained by torture at his retrial.”

It is the first time that the Court has found that an expulsion would be in violation of Article 6, which reflects the international consensus that the use of evidence obtained through torture makes a fair trial impossible.

Qatada, 51, whose real name is Omar Mahmoud Mohammed Othman, has been convicted twice in Jordan in his absence for conspiracy to carry out bomb attacks on two hotels in Amman in 1998, and providing finance and advice for a series of bomb attacks in Jordan planned to coincide with the Millennium. The cases were to be retried.

He was first arrested in 2002 and is currently held in Long Lartin jail in Worcestershire after breaching his bail conditions.
The court ruled that key diplomatic assurances received meant there would be no violation of Article Three which bans the use of torture or inhuman or degrading treatment.

It also said there would be no violation of Article Five, the right to liberty and security and no violation of Article 13, the right to an effective remedy.

not confirmed. daily mail reports taliban hang 8 yr old boy

Came across this minutes ago before close for the night.
Have no way to know if it’s actually true.  Just cos the Mail prints it doesn’t mean it is, but considering the subject matter and ppl involved, I’m always ready to believe the worst.

I guess that makes me islamophobic. Yeak well, one can never be enough of that in this world.

Taliban hang eight-year-old son of Afghanistan police chief

Suspected members of the Taliban hung the eight-year-old son of a police commander after ordering his father to surrender, it was claimed today.

The Deutsche Presse-Agentur news agency reported that the young boy was kidnapped by militants in the Greshk district of Helmand province last Tuesday.
He was hanged on Friday after they demanded his father give himself up or else the boy would be executed.

‘The militants had warned his father to surrender with his police vehicle and weapons, otherwise they would kill his son,’ provincial governor spokesman Daud Ahmadi told the agency.

While child executions by the Taliban are not common, children often fall victim to Taliban militants when they carry out attacks.

Youngsters have also been used by the Taliban as suicide bombers.

Two months ago, four civilians were killed and 12 others were injured when a 12-year-old suicide bomber blew himself up at a crowded market in eastern Afghanistan.

The Taliban have always denied using children to carry out their attacks.
