Yeah, they want to dig him up

“Jesus was a Palestinian too!”

“Right of return! Right of return!!”

Aww, shuddup. Actually, the loonies are about to exhume old Yes Sir Arafish because a rumor was going around he was poisoned with Polonium, just like that defected Soviet spy the KGB knocked off in London.

Because polonium poisoning can’t be told apart from full blown AIDS, right? And since there is no such thing as homosexuality over there ...

WTH, they blame the Jews for his death already, so it can’t get any worse. I hope.

Psychotic Fiends

Garbage Piles Full Of Chopped Off Body Parts

Payback is a bitch for those who sheltered rebels in Syria

Government Death Squads roam the streets, exacting retribution with machetes

Trail of carnage in trash bins of Damascus suburb

Syrians in the ghost city of Douma have recovered mutilated corpses and sifted through trash for body parts hacked off by death squads who swept through anti-government districts after the army drove out rebel fighters, activists said on Wednesday.

Video shot by opponents of President Bashar al-Assad in the city about 15 km (10 miles) north of Damascus on Tuesday displayed gory horror scenes in homes they said had been overrun by pro-government “shabbiha” paramilitary gangs, after army shelling over the weekend forced rebel fighters to retreat.
...
Given obstacles to independent media coverage in Syria, there was no way of verifying the authenticity of the activist video or the information conveyed. One resident named Ziad told Reuters by telephone that 90 percent of Douma citizens had fled the city of around 110,000 inhabitants.

SANA published photographs of well-dressed officials touring tidy streets. Activist video, by contrast, was horrific, showing what it said was the aftermath of carnage by feared militiamen.

“These are pieces of our children we’re pulling out of dumpsters ... We found these body parts and we are still looking for more. These are burned human body parts,” said a man picking through an overturned garbage bin.

“These are male reproductive organs,” he said.

Video clips showed rotting corpses lying in dried pools of blood in dark hallways, their faces covered with flies. One showed a woman and her child prone in a living room. The activist narrating the video said they had been stabbed.

A third video displayed pieces of charred flesh which activists said were severed genitals.

“There was more here yesterday,” said a man wearing plastic gloves. “But the dogs were taking them.”

So much for the the kindness and brotherhood of jizzlam. The civil war in Syria is largely along sectarian lines; one flavor of islam against another. It’s also about the city boys versus their country cousins; those who get the government handouts versus those who pay for them. Assad’s Baath party is almost exclusively Shiite, and most of those are from the Alawite sub-sect. The rest of the country’s muslims are Sunni. All of the rebels are, and they’re supported by the Muslim Brotherhood.

This is nothing new. One of the main points about terrorism that is almost completely lost in the West is that most of it is sectarian; one muslim radical against another muslim (radical or not). And they don’t have an ounce of mercy amongst them.

Arab Spring My Arse

puppet and strawman at the same time?

Muslim Brotherhood Wins Egyptian Presidency

Gee, who saw this one coming? Totally unexpected!!

Muslim Brotherhood candidate and president-elect in victory speech vows to unite the country and stand up for democracy. [as my BS-meter pegs at 11]

The Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohamed Morsi has officially won Egypt’s presidential election and will be the country’s next president, the electoral commission has announced.

Morsi picked up 13.2 million votes out of just over 26 million, giving him about 51 per cent of the vote. His competitor, Ahmed Shafik, the final prime minister under Hosni Mubarak, received 12.3 million. More than 800,000 ballots were invalidated.

How about that? They threw out just enough ballots to make their guy win. Totally unexpected!!

Morsi’s victory caps off more than a week of behind-the-scenes negotiations between the Brotherhood and the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF). He claimed victory just hours after last week’s runoff election, based on unofficial numbers tallied by the Brotherhood, but the commission delayed its official announcement until Sunday.

In the intervening days, Khairat al-Shater, the Brotherhood’s political boss, met generals from SCAF at least once. Sources say they were negotiating exactly what powers the president will have.

So wait ... this means that the army is still in charge, doesn’t it? Negotiate to see what powers the president will have? Sounds like a puppet figurehead to me.  Totally unexpected!!

Yeah, and in theory this guy has quit the Muslim Brotherhood and given up his membership in several of their more extreme (!!!) sub-groups. Right. And the Copts are just super happy to have him in charge, I’m sure.

Bishop Pachomius, the caretaker pope of Egypt’s Coptic Church, issued a short statement congratulating Morsi. The Coptic community makes up about 10 per cent of Egypt’s population, and some were worried by Morsi’s candidacy, fearing that his government would restrict their personal freedoms.

Nahh. Not to worry. As long as they remain proper dhimmis, they’ll have as many freedoms as any other third class citizens, like women and arthritic donkeys. Just so long as they don’t step out of line, like by objecting to having their churches burned and their priests murdered.

Gosh, I hope I didn’t make my lowered expectations about this election too blatant. After all, this son-of-a-terrorist-group is all about supporting democracy, as long as the army allows him to. Welcome to the New Spring!

No Mas, No Mas, No Mosque

St. Anthony Minnesota City Council rejects Islamic center plan

Raaaacist!! Discriminaaaaation!!!

St. Anthony City Council members on Tuesday rejected plans to locate an Islamic center in the basement of the former Medtronic headquarters off Old Hwy. 8.

The proposed Abu-Huraira Islamic Center had been on hold for months after some residents objected to the center and city leaders studied whether city zoning would support the facility.

About 150 people attended Tuesday’s council meeting, where Muslim proponents asked the council to approve the nearly 15,000-square-foot center, which would be used for worship and assembly by the congregation of about 200.

“I’m a proud American. This is home. The center will serve the needs of our community,” Sadik Warfa said.

“I know this issue is very emotional for some people. We are a melting pot. We are all Americans.”

Close to a dozen St. Anthony residents asked the council to deny the proposal, which they argued would reduce tax revenues, an argument Mayor Jerry Faust denied. Others contended the center would attract increased traffic in the neighborhood and create problems for those living nearby.

Some who spoke against the center made disparaging comments about the Muslim faith, although Faust tried to discourage such remarks.

“Islam is evil. There’s no other religion in the world that endorses violence,” said John Murlowski, before Faust cut him off.

Supporters of the center expressed disappointment following the 4-1 decision.

Ali Garushi, a spokesman for the Islamic center, said Muslim leaders will convene in the coming days and will consider filing suit to challenge the council’s action.

“It’s discrimination against Muslims,” Garushi said. “This is a dirty war they’ve been doing.”

Yeah, and what goes on in Egypt, Ethiopia, the Sudan, and everywhere the green flag flies ... church burnings, rapes, murders, the criminalization of all non-islamic religious things, ... all that’s just the random acts of “disaffected youths”? I think not. Your dirty war has been going on for 800 years. It’s high time some small part of the battle came your way.

Poor Taste With An Extra Shot Of Awesomeness

Abu Hamza Gets Hooked

European court of human rights says the radical cleric can be extradited to the US to face terrorism charges

Abu Hamza, the radical cleric who became the face of violent extremism in Britain, can be extradited to the US to face terrorism charges, the European court of human rights has ruled.

The court in Strasbourg said the human rights of Hamza and four other men held in Britain – Babar Ahmad, Syed Talha Ahsan, Adel Abdel Bary and Khaled al-Fawwaz – would not be violated if sent to the US to stand trial. European judges decided they needed more information about the mental health of Haroon Aswat, an aide to Hamza, before reaching a decision on him.

David Cameron welcomed the court’s ruling. Speaking during a trade mission to south-east Asia, he said: “I am very pleased with the news. It is quite right that we have proper legal processes, although sometimes one can get frustrated with how long they take.”

The home secretary, Theresa May, said the government “will work to ensure that the suspects are handed over to the US authorities as quickly as possible”.

Hamza, who controlled the Finsbury Park mosque in north London and turned it into a factory for violent jihad, was sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment in Britain after being convicted in 2006 of inciting hatred.

The previous government had wanted him sent to the US before his jail term had been completed, but the extradition was halted after his lawyers went to the European court.

The European court of human rights halted extradition proceedings in July 2010, arguing it needed more time to consider complaints that transferring Hamza and others wanted in the US risked breaching their rights by exposing them to possible life imprisonment without parole and solitary confinement.

Ahmad, who the US claims ran a website allegedly raising funds for Islamic extremists, is a computer expert from south London. He has been on remand and refused bail since his arrest in August 2004 on a US extradition warrant.

He was awarded £60,000 in compensation because of the violence British police used during his arrest in December 2003, during which he was punched, kicked and throttled. His case has been supported by the former transport minister Sadiq Khan, who is a family friend and Labour frontbencher.

In the Hamza case, the US has had to given written assurances that it will not impose the death penalty or place the suspects before Guantánamo Bay-style military tribunals.

The US alleges Hamza was in contact with Taliban and al-Qaida terrorists and aided the taking of 16 western tourists as hostages in Yemen in December 1998, an incident that ended in the deaths of three Britons. He is also charged with attempting to set up a training camp for “violent jihad” in Oregon in 1999, along with Aswat.

Nice of the euro-wienies to allow the UK to give us their #1 problem child. Too bad we had to agree not to shoot the hook handed bastard or slowly lower him into the wood chipper to get him over here. On the other hand, it was Obama and Holder who made the agreement, so for once their two faced duplicity might come in useful.

So what do we do with this freak once we get him? Lyndon has the answer; when life gives you lemons you make lemonade. And if the lemons are rotten you can just throw them at the wall for fun. So we’ll give Hanza a “fair trial”, and then put him in solitary somewhere dark and damp forever, and forget about him.  And in the meantime, we’ll mock the crap out of him, and turn his fearsome visage into a joke with a slightly useful purpose.

Behold the source of Lyndon’s new avatar, the Abu Hamza key holder. Very poor taste, but funny as all hell. And there’s no point in having terrorists if we can’t laugh at them on a daily basis.

Al Qaeda Takes Over Mali

AQ Rebels Take Northern Mali, Impose Instant Sharia

Mali, West Africa. A landlocked mostly desert nation about 2/3 the size of Texas. Shaped like a reversed L, looking like a baby buggy going to the left. Northern Mali is mostly empty sand, with few people and fewer towns. One of these is the fabled city of Timbuktu, a small place where many homes and mosques are built of mud, yet the buildings are more than 1,000 years old. It’s a walled city a mile and a half long and a mile wide, home to 50,000, located near the only sources of open water in the region. Once upon a time it was a trading nexus, the place where the caravan trails crossed.  No more. Now Timbuktu and most of the north has fallen to Toureg rebels, nomadic mercenaries who fought for Ghadaffi in Libya, then looted his armories at the end and headed south. Looks like they caught a big dose of Jihad Fever when they were there.

Islamists impose sharia in Mali’s Timbuktu

Mali’s crisis deepened Wednesday, as officials in the fabled northern city of Timbuktu confirmed that the Islamic rebel faction that seized control of the town over the weekend has announced it will impose sharia law.

Rebels in the country’s distant north have taken advantage of the power vacuum created last month when renegade soldiers in the capital of Bamako overthrew the nation’s democratically elected leader. In the chaos that followed the March 21 coup, they advanced on strategic towns in the north, including the ancient city of Timbuktu, located over 620 miles (1,000 kilometers) from the capital.

The ethnic Tuareg rebels included a secular faction fighting for independence, and an Islamic wing, Ansar Dine, whose reclusive leader called a meeting of all the imams in the city on Tuesday to make his announcement.

“He had the meeting to make his message to the people known, that sharia law is now going to be applied,” said the Mayor of Timbuktu Ousmane Halle, who was reached by telephone. “When there is a strongman in front of you, you listen to him. You can’t react,” he said, when asked what the reaction was of the imams of a historic town known for its religious pluralism and its moderate interpretation of Islam.

“Things are going to heat up here. Our women are not going to wear the veil just like that,” said the mayor.

Don’t bet on it. They’ll veil up soon enough when the rapes and beheadings begin.

The rebels launched their insurgency in January, saying they wanted to establish an independent Tuareg homeland in the north, known as the Azawad. They only succeeded in taking small towns until March 21, when disgruntled soldiers stormed the presidential palace in the distant capital of Bamako, overthrowing the democratically elected president.

In the confusion that followed the coup, the rebels launched a new offensive and succeeded in taking the capitals of the three main northern provinces, including Kidal, which fell last Friday, Gao on Saturday and Timbuktu on Sunday.

“The NMLA has reached the end of its military operations for the liberation of the territory of the Azawad,” said Assarid, speaking by telephone from Paris.

“Since the day before yesterday when our units reached Douentza which we consider to be the frontier of the Azawad,” he said, referring to a town some 375 miles from Bamako, “the military offensive is declared over.”

Assarid’s group is the largest rebel group involved in the offensive, but it is not the only one, and in the three main towns in the north, local officials say they cannot be sure which of the rebel armies has the upper hand. Western observers have expressed concern over the presence of an Islamist faction called Ansar Dine, which planted its ominous black flag in all three of the provincial capitals. This week, the group announced it was imposing Sharia law in the ancient city of Timbuktu.

The mayor of Timbuktu said nearly all of the estimated 300 Christians based in the city fled after Ansar Dine’s spiritual chief Iyad Ag Ghali gave an interview on local radio outlining the tenets of Sharia law: Women are to be covered at all times, thieves will have their hands cut off and adulterers will be stoned.

On Thursday, the Ansar Dine faction attacked the Algerian consulate in Gao and took hostage its employees, including the consul, according to an Algerian diplomat in Bamako who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak the press. It was unclear why the faction had attacked the consulate, though Algeria has aggressively fought Islamic extremists on its own soil, including AQIM, which has its roots in Algeria.

In Abidjan, where the military chiefs were meeting, the head of Ivory Coast’s army said that the possible link between the rebels and terrorism is reason enough for a possible military intervention.

“The advance of the National Liberation Movement of Azawad, associated with terrorist groups like AQIM and Ansar Dine and others, gives sufficient reason to the entire region to be put on notice,” said Gen. Soumaila Bakayoko.

I would be quite amazed if any West African coalition, aided by French logistical support, moves into Mali to push back the rebels.

Meanwhile, 2 of those 300 Christians who got out tell their story to the UK press:

Mrs. English’s Wild Ride [ apologies to Mr. Toad ]

A British couple have made a dramatic escape from Timbuktu after the town fell to al-Qaeda backed fighters following the military coup in Mali, The Daily Telegraph can disclose.

Neil Whitehead and Diane English fled across an 850-mile expanse of desert with the help of nomadic militiamen and African soldiers to reach Nouakchott, the capital of neighbouring Mauritania. They are now hoping to take sanctuary in the city’s French embassy.

The couple, who owned and ran a budget hotel in Timbuktu, were caught up in the fighting as the Malian army fled and Islamic extremists took control of the city following a coup that overthrew the country’s government.

They decided to make their perilous escape after learning that al-Qaeda had put a price on their heads.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph after reaching Noukachott, Mrs English said: “Its been a very long journey with barely any sleep. We’ve moved across the desert in three old army trucks but we are very lucky to get out and very grateful to those that helped us.

“We are tired and desperately need a shower but we have our dog with us and we hope our truck with all our possessions is going to follow us soon.”

Reports from Timbuktu said al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) and local hardline clerics of the Ansar al-Dine movement had imposed strick Islamic law on the town. The black flag of al-Qaeda was flying on the turrets of its ancient mosques and women had been ordered to wear burkas outdoors.

“My friends say they have been ordered to stop smoking and the women have been told to cover up,” Mrs English said. “I don’t think we’ll be going back anytime soon.”

Good for them for finally getting out. And for taking their dog.

Last week:

The Tuareg force planted its flag in the ancient city, a day after it took control of the garrison town of Gao, which hosts the largest military base in Mali’s north. The Azawad National Liberation Movement (MNLA) has capitalised on the lack of national authority after a coup last month when Mali army officers ousted the president, Amadou Toure.
...
On Friday, the rebels took Kidal, the regional capital. If Timbuktu falls, they rebels will control most of Mali’s Sahara desert region.

They have vowed to rule the area with Islamists in opposition to the junta in Bamako, the national capital. The city of Timbuktu, famous for its mud-walled mosques, is more than 1,000 years old and was the main trading centre for Tuareg nomads bringing salt from the desert, and selling ivory and slaves. Once a centre of learning, the town, with 50,000 people, has become synonymous with mythical places, with a third of Britons even unaware that it is a real place, according to a recent survey.

So there are at least 3 or 4 different groups fighting in Mali. Typical African muddle. Expect Al Q to come out on top. With the loss of Mali, nearly all of northern Africa is in the hands of islamists, from the borders of Nigeria to the Gaza Strip. Caliphate anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Your Daily Islamic Stoopid

In the mooselimb world, wives and children are chattel, not much different than livestock. The women can’t do as they please, go out in public alone, yadda yadda, you know the drill, jizzlam sux.

“Obama killed bin Laden”. Yeah right, he did it by not getting in the way and being kept out of the loop, and only begin dragged in off the golf course at the last second, while somebody else faced the danger and did the wet work. We’ve all seen that war room picture; he didn’t get any briefing notes or even a seat at the Big Folks table. “Squat here sir”. Click. But whatever. Our “ally” Pakistan, claimed no knowledge that OBL was living in their country for years, though they were very quick to hand over our busted stealth helicopter to the ChiComs, and were very quick to arrest anyone who may have spilled the OBL beans and charge them with treason. Such an ally. Now they’ve done it again ...

Pakistan: bin Laden’s wives get jail time and fines for being illegal immigrants

because livestock has such a big say in where it goes, right?

A Pakistani court has sentenced three of Usama bin Laden’s widows and two of his older daughters to 45 days in prison for illegal entry and staying in Pakistan. Each of bin Laden’s relatives also received a $110 fine. They were sentenced at a hearing in the Islamabad safe house where the family members are currently staying.

Mohammed Amir Khalil, a lawyer for the family, says Monday’s verdict gives his clients credit for time served, and that he does not plan on appealing the decision.

Khalil said the family members were formally arrested on March 3, so they will serve another two weeks in prison and then will be deported with their children. He did not say where they would be deported.

How’s that for penny ante bullshit? $550 in fines and a free camel ride to the border.

Islamabad was outraged by the U.S. raid that killed bin Laden because it was not told about it beforehand. Pakistani officials have said they had no idea the Al Qaeda chief was in Abbottabad, something many in Washington found hard to believe because his compound was located close to Pakistan’s equivalent of West Point.
...
Bin Laden lived in five safe houses over the course of nine years while on the run in Pakistan and fathered four children—two of them born in government hospitals, according to al-Sada’s interrogation report

Looks to me like the guy who does the Pakistani certificates of live birth used to work in Honolulu. Obviously he never reads his own work, like the box where it says “fill in father’s name”. I wonder if those 4 kids qualify as natural born citizens of Pakistan?

Far Out: Fascists Are Far Right

Speaking once again about co-opted memes, how did fascism come to be identified with the far right? Only in Europe, where Extreme Socialism is “normal”, could this definition fit. And to American eyes, there are about 12 atoms difference between communists, socialists, national socialists, and fascists. They’re all ultra-leftist outlooks, differing only in the uniforms and mustaches.

And why are groups of traditionalists, who don’t want to see their own cultures eradicated, who don’t like the violence and intolerance that Sharia brings with it, people who stand up and speak out, who will not submit ... why are they the extremists here? Sounds to me like they’re perfectly normal.  Anyway, a right big mess today in Denmark. I say, thank God some folks in Eurabia are finally pushing back. Too bad they’re currently outnumbered 100 to 1.

80+ Arrested At Anti-Islam Freedom Protest Rally In Denmark

Pro-Dhimmi Counter Protesters Hurled Stones And Bottles At Small Crowd Of Freedom Lovers

Clashes broke out Saturday as far-right groups from across Europe gathered in Denmark for a rally they said was meant to make their governments act against the threat of Islamic extremism. Violence flared in the port city of Aarhus as a small group of far-left protesters broke off from a march staged to counter the right-wing rally, said Georg Husted, a spokesman for Aarhus police. Protesters carrying masks pulled up paving stones and started throwing them and other missiles, he said.

One police officer suffered minor head injuries after he was struck by a bottle, Husted said, but no civilians were hurt or damage caused to buildings.

Police arrested 25 people following the violence, said Husted, most of them from extreme left-wing groups. Between 200 and 300 people attended the far-right rally, according to police estimates, while about 5,000 people gathered for the anti-fascist demonstration.

The far-right rally brought together protesters from the Danish Defense League, as well as smaller groups from Scandinavian countries, Germany, Poland, Eastern Europe and the United Kingdom. Those attending want to send a “clear message to the leaders of Europe,” according to the English Defence League (EDL), one of the organizers of the far-right event.

“Our governments and our media behave as if Islamic extremism exists only in the head of a few extremists, and claim that it is unfair to make the connection between Islam and extremism,” an online EDL statement said. “This is ridiculous, just as it is ridiculous to claim that anyone who criticizes Islam must be an extremist in their own right. We believe in fair criticism of Islam and in the defence of our cultures, our nations, and the rights and freedoms that they have long protected.”

England, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Romania, Finland, France, Poland? Russia too? Run for the hills, it’s the White Power Uprising the press has been wetting its pants in fear over for decades, finally!!

Um, no, not so fast there bucko.

More than 80 people were arrested Saturday as protesters hurling rocks and bottles tried to interrupt an anti-Islamic demonstration by far-right groups from across northern Europe, Danish police said.

There were numerous brief scuffles throughout the day as police tried to separate some 2,500 counter-demonstrators from a few hundred people attending the anti-Islamic rally in Aarhus, Denmark’s second-largest city.
...
The defense leagues and other counter-jihadist groups that have sprung up in Europe in recent years distance themselves from neo-Nazis and say they don’t accept racism or anti-Semitism. Opponents say they are just a new manifestation of xenophobia in Europe, targeting Muslims instead of Jews.

Anders Behring Breivik, the Norwegian gunman who confessed to slaughtering 77 people last July, cited the English Defense League and other counter-jihadist groups in the anti-Muslim manifesto he released before the killing spree. Those groups have condemned his actions and dismissed him as a lunatic.

Ok, let’s let the nutcakes have their say now ...

Mari Linolkken traveled from Norway to join the counter-demonstration in Aarhus, 200 kilometers (125 miles) northwest of Copenhagen, saying she felt compelled to stand up against the far-right movement after what her own country had gone through with Breivik’s attacks.

“The English Defense League, Danish Defense League, the Stop Islamization of Europe — we have experienced what their ideology means in practice,” she said.

Really? How so Mari? Breivik was not a member of these groups. And in practice Breivik - a crazy person, m’kay - targeted the lefist elite and their children. He didn’t go on a muslim hunt, as much as he may have despised them. So what’s the connection in your head, so strong that you’d ride a train for hours to another country to take part in a counter protest?

A long-planned gathering of far right-wing movements from across Europe met in Denmark on Saturday to try to form a pan-European anti-Islamist alliance, a project that will test the cohesion of a fringe trying to build support built on fears about immigration and militant Islamists.

Members of European far-right groups, including the English Defense League (EDL) and the German Defense League, arrived in the Danish city of Aaruhus for the rally, which was expected to draw and anti-Islamic crowd from Russia, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Poland, Romania and Sweden, according to the Guardian.

image
Look! Crazy anti-semitic extremist fascist anti-islamic protester nut cases!!!!!!11!!

image
Danish ones too!!! The Danish Defense League took part

image
And the English!! The English Defense League took part

Did you notice the one thing all these protesters seem to have in common? That one symbol of evil that binds them together, like Sauron’s Ring? Yeah, I’m sure you saw it. In bright red, the color of blood. Or in black, the color of evil, right on their country’s flags!!!

image
Even the Germans!! The German Defense League took part

OMG. OMFG. HJJCOAPS ... they’re all Christians!!! Get out the fire hoses, let lose the attack dogs! Stop them now!!!

BBC World Affairs correspondent Richard Galpin said it was not clear if the EDL would succeed with the aims of the rally.

But anti-racism campaigners already fear the hardline anti-Islamic rhetoric being used will increase tensions in European cities and encourage extremists on both sides.

Nottingham University’s Matthew Goodwin, an expert on far-right groups in Britain, said the meeting would be strategically significant even if the numbers were not.

“What we are seeing here for the first time in British political history is an anti-Muslim far-right organisation taking the lead in trying to mobilise pan-European opposition to Islam,” he said.

Yes. Yes, I can see that. But I don’t think it’s the first time in history. It’s just the first time in about 800 years or so. But don’t nobody dare to say the ”C word”. Not that one either silly, but I meant the other C-word. But I can also see weasel wiener Galpins’ view, and in his words I see him eagerly paying the jizya: pushing back against the green horde will raise tensions, and like breathing, saying no, or looking cross-eyed at the wrong time, it will encourage more muslim extremism and enrage the Arab Street. Much better to just lie down and take it, like the spineless dog you are.

I’m sure Atlas Shrugs will have some seriously large coverage on this, if not now, then soon. Oh hella yeah. With extra gravy and side dishes. Video and quotes from a participant that says the number of antislamic protesters was double what the media is reporting. No kidding, how many times have we seen that trick? She even has Anders Gravers full speech, word for word, that ends with:

The media and politicians call us far right and hate groups. However, it is not SIOE and the Defence Leagues who took our countries to war in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is not we who stone women to death or bomb trains.

We have always done things according to the law. This has not stopped politicians and media accusing us of murders and other violence we did not commit.

We are only using our democratic rights to peaceful protest. And we will win.

We have to step up the action. We have to make our protests stronger. We have to make our language stronger.

But we have to stay within the law. And we will stay within the law.

Every mosque being built must be protested against. Not only must protests be held outside mosques, but also the building companies making the mosques. Also the councils allowing mosques to be built.

Whenever a woman, or even worse, a child is raped, we must protest outside the mosque closest to where it happened. Even if it is only four or five people.

The media must be challenged to report our protests or we will accuse them of supporting the violence of the world’s biggest hate group. Islam.

All anti-Islam groups must work together to defeat our enemy and to win this war.

Victory is ours. NO SURRENDER.

Read his whole speech out loud and see if you take issue with one single word. Far right extremists, indeed.

Lan astaslem! Lan astaslem! Lan astaslem!

Le French Take Le Action

French Police “Detain” 19 Islamists, Seize Weapons

It’s a start

PARIS – President Nicolas Sarkozy says police in cities around France have detained 19 people in a crackdown on suspected Islamist extremists.

Sarkozy said on Europe-1 radio Friday that weapons were seized in some of the raids, including AK-47 assault rifles.

He said more such operations are planned. The raids come after a spate of killings in southern France.

A Frenchman who espoused radical Islamist views and said he had links to al Qaida claimed responsibility for the killings. He was killed in a gunfight with police last week.

The raids were carried out by the domestic intelligence agency, the DCRI, with the help of the elite Raid police commando group, Agence France-Presse news agency reports.

Several of the raids were in Toulouse, particularly the Mirail quarter, sources told AFP. But there were also raids in Nantes, which is believed to be a centre for the Forsane Alizza (Knights of Pride) group, to which Merah had been linked by some French media.

It is a Salafist group that was dissolved by the interior ministry in an earlier investigation. One of those arrested was the group’s suspected leader, Mohammed Achamlane.

Police sources told AFP that three Kalashnikovs, a Glock pistol and a grenade were seized at his home.

Sounds like they’re rounding up the right people. Very very few normal people keep grenades around the house.

In Mauritania, life in the “big city” is really in tents

Mauritania, western Africa, a nearly empty land on the edge of the great Sahara desert.

It’s an Islamic nation, ruled by a combination of Sharia Law and an “elected” military dictatorship. Everyone speaks Arabic, and the level of poverty is beyond grinding. Illiteracy is rampant and life expectancy is one of the lowest in the world. Nearly half the population gets by on less than $2 a day; the average annual per capita income is only $6. A barren hell on earth, where even the wandering nomads are few and far between.

Yet twenty percent of the population lives in slavery. Generational slavery.

Forced by international pressure, Mauritania didn’t get around to abolishing slavery until 1981. Not 1335. Not 1772. Not 1865. Not 1889. (Finland, England, USA, Brazil) 1981. Just 31 years ago. And that abolition was only lip service; slave owning in Mauritania didn’t even become a crime until 2007, just 5 years ago. And it’s still just lip service, as what passes for a judicial system has only made one prosecution. Somewhere around three quarters of a million people live there in bondage, today.

Lighter skinned Arabs, so called “White Moors” are the owner caste, and darker skinned Africans are the slaves. It’s been that way since forever, and the slaves are often treated with the kind of callous disregard and cruelty that only the Arabs can come up with. Perhaps the greater sin is that the slaves don’t know any better, and consider themselves sub-human.

CNN posts another couple of articles in their continuing series on modern slavery.

It’s a maddening, complicated place — one made all the more difficult for outsiders to understand because no one is allowed to talk about slavery. When we confronted the country’s minister of rural development about slavery’s existence, Brahim Ould M’Bareck Ould Med El Moctar told us his country is among the freest in the world. “All people are free in Mauritania and this phenomenon (of slavery) no longer exists,” he said.

The issue is so sensitive here that we had to conduct most of our interviews in secret, often in the middle of the night and in covert locations. The only other option was to do them in the presence of a government minder, who was assigned to our group by the Ministry of Communications to ensure we didn’t mention the topic. Our official reason for entering the country was to report on the science of locust swarms; our contacts for that story were unaware of our plan to research slavery.

If we were caught talking with an escaped slave like Moulkheir, we could have been arrested or thrown out of the country without our notebooks and footage. That point was made clear to us in a meeting with the national director of audiovisual communications, Mohamed Yahya Ould Haye, who told us journalists who attempted to report on such topics were jailed or ejected from the country.

More important, getting caught talking about slavery could have put our sources at risk. Anti-slavery activists say they have been arrested and tortured for their work.

Abdel, like the rest of his light-skinned family, lived in a large camel-skin tent. Yebawa and other slaves lived in tattered tents of cloth on the periphery of their nomadic camp, which shifted locations to follow the few plants able to grow in the Sahara.

Noble families keep slaves both as servants and status symbols. Abdel’s family had hundreds of slaves, he said, and their labor was divided among aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

“When you divvy up slaves, either you send a slave to go serve a certain branch of the family or if you have just one slave, you divide him up in chunks of time: three months here, four or five there,” he said. “That’s how you share a human being.”

Slaves in Mauritania typically are attached to one family from the time they are born. They can be given away as gifts for special occasions, but usually aren’t bought and sold.

...

Abdel’s family never beat its slaves, he said, but did regard them as subhuman. When it rained on the Tagant plateau, in central Mauritania, slaves like Yebawa picked up the edges of the tent and held them in the air all night long to prevent their masters from getting wet. Abdel recalls hearing the slaves’ teeth chattering all through the cold desert nights—and mocking this “teeth music” with his slave-owning friends.

Dancing around the real truth

Oooh, it’s because of those awful Old Testament laws, is that it?

Morrocans outraged over teen suicide: rape victim forced to marry her attacker to “protect family honor” kills herself

The case of a 16-year-old girl who killed herself after she was forced to marry her rapist has spurred outrage among Morocco’s internet activists and calls for changes to the country’s laws.

An online petition, a Facebook page and countless tweets expressed horror over the suicide of Amina Filali, who swallowed rat poison on Saturday to protest her marriage to the man who raped her a year earlier.

Article 475 of the Moroccan penal code allows for the “kidnapper” of a minor to marry his victim to escape prosecution, and it has been used to justify a traditional practice of making a rapist marry his victim to preserve the honor of the woman’s family.

The victim’s father said in an interview with an online Moroccan newspaper that it was the court officials who suggested from the beginning the marriage option when they reported the rape.

“The prosecutor advised my daughter to marry, he said ‘go and make the marriage contract,’” said Lahcen Filali in an interview that appeared on goud.ma Tuesday night.

...

“It is not something that happens a great deal — it is very rare,” he said, but admitted that the family of the victim sometimes agrees out of fear that she won’t be able to find a husband if it is known she was raped.

The marriage is then pushed on the victim by the families to avoid scandal, said Fouzia Assouli, president of Democratic League for Women’s Rights.

“It is unfortunately a recurring phenomenon,” she said."We have been asking for years for the cancellation of Article 475 of the penal code which allows the rapist to escape justice.”

In many parts of the Middle East, there is a tradition whereby a rapist can escape prosecution if he marries his victim, thereby restoring her honor. There is a similar injunction in the Old Testament’s Book of Deuteronomy.

Morocco updated its family code in 2004 in a landmark improvement of the situation of women, but activists say there’s still room for improvement.

In cases of rape, the burden of proof is often on the victim and if she can’t prove she was attacked, a woman risks being prosecuted for debauchery.

“In Morocco, the law protects public morality but not the individual,” said Assouli, adding that legislation outlawing all forms of violence against women, including rape within marriage, has been stuck in the government since 2006.

According to the father’s interview, the girl was accosted on the street and raped when she was 15, but it was two months before she told her parents.

He said the court pushed the marriage, even though the perpetrator initially refused. He only consented when faced with prosecution. The penalty for rape is between five and 10 years in prison, but rises to 10 to 20 in the case of a minor.

Filali said Amina complained to her mother that her husband was beating her repeatedly during the five months of marriage but that her mother counseled patience.

The “S word” is not ever mentioned in this article, nor even referred to obliquely. At least one islamopologist site, based in Chicago, confusingly says that this “marry him” judgment is in line with Sharia law, and also against it ...

This outrage against the horrific and outrageous law that allows the rapist to marry his victim in order to avoid prosecution is following Sharia. Rape is a horrific crime that I would not wish upon my worst enemy. This inhuman law in Morocco has no basis in Islam or the Qur’an. And to shield the criminal by marrying his victim is even more inhuman: the Sharia is against it.

But we know better. We won’t accept the spoonfed meme. And we know that Political Correctness is one gigantic lie after another. NRO’s Andrew McCarthy points out the truth you’re not supposed to be aware of:

Morocco is not just a “Muslim country” in the cultural sense. It is a country proudly adherent to sharia law. Since 1969, Morocco has been a member of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, whose Islamic member states proclaimed, in 1990, the “Declaration of Human Rights in Islam.” The rationale for this proclamation — which is also known as the “Cairo Declaration” — is that the signatory nations do not accept the concept of “human rights” as it is understood in the West and outlined in such instruments as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, to which the Cairo Declaration is a rebuttal.
...
“Human rights” are the rights that humans have under sharia law — and no others. “Equality for women” consists of the rights women are granted by sharia, which we in the West see (quite rightly, I think) as being grossly subordinate to the rights of men (in particular, Muslim men). In stark contrast, Islam considers them merely different from the rights of men — more suitable, sharia scholars will tell you, to life as Allah intended women to live it, in light of the comparative strengths and weaknesses of their natural condition.

But you sure won’t find the media even questioning the depravities of jizzlamic jurisprudence. Not even here in the USA ISA.

Red Ken would be proud.

Coping with Sharia law got you down? The old kaffir feeling a bit too dhimmi today? Feel like celebrating your haram status as one of the unclean? Tired of your President bowing and scraping and apologizing to our enemies who have declared continuous holy war on us for more than 1400 years now?

Or would you just like to show the world that you’re part of the global Other White Meat effort?

Take your pick ... here’s the patch you want. And in case the reader can’t read English, the text is also conveniently also there in Arabic. Almost guaranteed to get you arrested and flogged in Saudi Arabia. If you submit. I shall not submit.

What Our Blood And Treasure Bought

100 Emos Get Stoned

In Iraq. And I’m not talking about sparking up a spliff.

Iraq. Not Iran. Iraq, where we brought peace, freedom, democracy, tolerance, etc. Yeah right.

Years and years ago, when the DC clown posse was first putting Iraq back together again, and I read that they allowed the locals to write a constitution driven by Sharia law, I knew it was a lost hope. Now they’re killing teens in the streets over their hairstyles. How is this free democracy any different from the brutal theocracy on the other side of the Zagros mountains? It isn’t.

At least 90 Iraqi teenagers with “emo” appearances have been stoned to death by religious extremists in Baghdad in the past month after an inflammatory interior ministry statement dubbed it “devil worshiping”, activists said.

Iraq’s Moral Police released a chilling statement on the interior ministry’s website condemning the “emo phenomenon” among Iraqi youth, disturbingly declaring its intent to “eliminate” the trend.

“The ‘Emo phenomenon’ or devil worshiping is being followed by the Moral Police who have the approval to eliminate [the phenomenon] as soon as possible since it’s detrimentally affecting the society and becoming a danger,” the statement read.

“They wear strange, tight clothes that have pictures on them such as skulls and use stationary that are shaped as skulls. They also wear rings on their noses and tongues, and do other strange activities,” it continued.

Religious extremists caught onto the interior ministry statement, and have been harassing and killing teenagers with “strange” or “emo” appearances.

A group of armed men dressed in civilian clothing led dozens of teenagers to secluded areas a few days ago, stoned them to death, and then disposed their bodies in garbage dumpsters across the capital, according to activists.

Al-Bayaty said the killings appear to have been carried out by extremist Shia militias in mostly poor Shia neighborhoods and said she suspected “there’s complicity of the Ministry of Interior in the killings.”

Photos of the victims were released on Facebook, causing panic and fear among Iraqi students.
...
The interior ministry has not disclosed the number of teenage victims, but released a follow-up statement on Thursday warning extremists “not to step on public freedom of Iraqis.”
...
The Director of the Moral Police of the Interior Ministry released a statement, saying “The ‘Emo phenomenon’ or devil worshiping is being followed by the Moral Police who have the approval to eliminate [the phenomenon] as soon as possible since it’s detrimentally affecting the society and becoming a danger.”
...
“They wear strange, tight clothes that have pictures on them such as skulls and use stationary that are shaped as skulls. They also wear rings on their noses and tongues, and do other strange activities.”

Yes, I think that kind of strange dress and behavior is called being a teenager.

Can someone please tell me what the heck kind of “freedom” or “democracy” we set up over there that has a MORAL POLICE to even begin with? Freedom Rule #1: Get your damn nose out of my life; what I do, what I think, how I look, how I act, how I feel, what I believe in is NONE OF YOUR DAMNED BUSINESS.
