Whittle Me This

WARNING: Graphic content

Bill Whittle goes on a mean LEAN rant. And delivers a whole bag of   Skittles   facts that the media have blithely ignored for months. He did overlook that Blunt bit at the 7-11 though, perhaps properly because there was no direct proof of it.

I guess this means that Whittle is now a raaaaacis.

No, actually it doesn’t mean that at all. It means that an eloquent intelligent American is willing to look at the facts and then speak truth to power.

UK’s Hidden Horrors

It isn’t just Scandinavia with the nearly 100% muslim committed rape plague. It’s the UK too. But the stories don’t meet the Diversity Agenda, so they aren’t news.
If I had a daughter living in London she’d have more firearms and daggers to choose from than her shoe collection. Horry Clap, no woman is safe there. Laws? Fug that. And it’s the sand lice from allahville and the mud rats from aFreaka doing damn near all of it. Britain needs a new hunting season, no bag limits.

UK’s Taxi Rape Epidemic

Great Britain is in the throes of a rape and pedophilia epidemic unlike anything the country has experienced in living memory.

Many of the sex crimes are being perpetrated by Muslim child grooming gangs responsible for drugging, raping and torturing hundreds and possibly thousands of British girls.

But another wave of sex crimes involves predatory Muslim taxi drivers who are raping female passengers. The number of so-called taxi rapes is snowballing to such an extent that a British judge has issued a warning that no woman can expect to be safe while traveling in a cab.

Reliable statistics on taxi rapes nationwide are difficult to obtain, and Freedom of Information requests seeking accurate data on cab-related sexual assaults are routinely denied.

However, a much acclaimed report produced by the London Metropolitan Police Service estimates that on average there are a total of 1,125 sexual assaults, including rapes, each year involving taxi drivers in just London; this works out to approximately 22 sexual assaults against women by taxi drivers each week in England’s capital city alone.

Moreover, according to a report entitled, “Ending Violence against Women and Girls in the UK,” published by the Home Office in March 2013, only around one in ten women who experience serious sexual assault report it to the police. As a result, one can infer that the actual number of taxi rapes across Britain as a whole is far greater than many are willing to admit.

Apart from a few high-profile cases, taxi rapes are rarely reported by national newspapers in Britain, apparently because the politically incorrect crimes are not deemed to be newsworthy.

But a survey of stories buried deep inside local newspapers shows that taxi rapes are occurring in all parts of England, Wales and Scotland on an almost daily basis.

In living memory? No. In all of English history. Even in the worst of the Dark Ages it probably wasn’t this bad.

Follow the link and read of nearly 3 dozen recent assaults. Each and every one of them done by a muzzie immigrant. Each and every one.

Peiper writes me that the photo in the article is a bit misleading; they show a Black Cab, which is a properly licensed, inspected, insured, etc vehicle driven by a properly licensed and vetted driver. The problem is that there aren’t enough of these, so there is a huge grey market of what we call Gypsy cabs. And those cabs zero in on the bar scene to provide rides home for those far too drunk to drive, take the bus, or sometimes even to walk.

I do not want to blame the victims. I think this is a terrible and outrageous thing going on. But maybe, just maybe, if English lasses didn’t drink themselves utterly pie-eyed, there might be a bit less. Never get so drunk in public that you can’t shoot straight from 5 feet away. Great idea Drew, except they aren’t allowed guns. Ok, make that “never get so drunk in public that you can’t stab your assailant 5 times from arm’s length” and then make sure you’ve got at least 3 knives hidden about your person.

And I like the idea of the pink cabs. As a proper American, I think there’s a fortune to be made here. Get a fleet of little minivans and paint them all dayglo pink. Customize the passenger area with vinyl seats, rubber floor mats and a “whoops” bucket. Put a 4” thick plexiglass divider between the driver and the passenger section. Extra large door handles and lock buttons on the inside. Add several interior lights and maybe an exterior spotlight or two so there are no dark corners inside or out. Put in a bloody loud alarm and flashing roof light, hooked into a Lo-Jack kind of system with a panic button for the passengers, Whatever it takes to make them feel safe. And then hire white English women who are all ex-military or at least martial arts belt holders as drivers. Or strapping big no-nonsense farm girls. And a 6x6 EDL cross and shield sticker on every door. Sod diversity. This isn’t a trend. This isn’t an epidemic. This is asymmetric warfare. And it’s time to fight back.

image

BBC radio host Sam Mason, a single mother, was fired after she called a taxi company and requested a “non-Asian” driver to take her 14-year-old daughter to her grandparents’ home; preferably a female driver. The operator refused, and said, “We would class that as being racist.” Mason responded, “It’s not your 14-year-old girl.” [Even though she made the call from her own phone while she was not at work she got fired anyway.] A BBC spokesman said, “[Mason’s] comments were completely unacceptable…she will no longer be working for the BBC.”

Oh yeah, Penelope Pink. The company names practically write themselves. Lady Jane Taxi Service. MaDDCo (Mothers and Daughters Driving Company). Take Back The Cab. There’s a fortune to be made here.

Hmm, it turns out that Official London Taxis have to have a turning radius of only 25 feet. That’s damn short, a good 10 feet less than most small cars sold in America. Lucky them that LTI in Coventry is still building those proper “hackney carriages” known the world over as London cabs. The latest ones come with a 2.5 liter turbo-diesel, accommodate wheelchairs with ease, with several of the more normal features I suggested, and they come with a 120,000 mile warranty. On a British vehicle. Amazing.

Even more amazing, they’ve got jobs on offer! Well done, that company.

PA Plays Voter ID Roulette

You know what I am just really fed up with? How every single state that tries to run something close to honest elections and comes up with a Voter ID law gets bunged up in the hue and cry of how unfair it is to minorities.

Really?

Why?

Do Black people turn to ash and disintegrate when you take their picture? Are they all wheelchair bound, missing their legs and feet, so that none of them can move about? Do none of them own cars, or know how to ride the bus? Or are they just unable to produce ID for this one thing, while every other activity in our - everyone’s, White, Black, Green, or Blue - lives requires photo ID. Horry Clap, they took my picture at the eye doctor’s office the other day “for my records”. WTF? But I went along with it, and I’m using it here as a simple case in point. Photo ID is ubiquitous here in the 21st Century.

I don’t want to say a word about EBT or SNAP or any other government handout program, all of which require photo ID. But good grief, if you have a driver’s license - or a County ID, the non-driver equivalent - then you have a photo ID. You belong to the Swim Club, you have a photo ID. And so on, right on up to the various firearms permits and IDs, most of which not only have a photograph but a fingerprint as well.

So why is it that this will be such a hardship for those poor poor mistreated minorities, most of whom probably have at least one photo ID already? That’s life in America these days, so suck it up. And it’s not like the damn Voter ID costs you money. Well, directly. Or that anyone has to pass a test. No Poll Taxes. None of that old Jim Crow crap exists anywhere anymore.

It’s pure bullshit, and I’m sick of it. PS - it ain’t “controversial” either. It’s simply how life is these days. For EVERYONE. Equality under the law and all that. Crivens, the gov is listening to your phone calls and scanning my keyboard while I type this, and probably selling my data to corporations and foreign spies. So nobody had better dare try to play the Privacy Card or the Intrusive Government card. That deck doesn’t even exist any longer.

Pennsylvania court hears arguments over controversial voter ID law

Opening arguments were held Monday in Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court over the state’s controversial requirement that all voters in this key swing state provide photo I.D. when voting.

The law has been in place for the last three elections but has not yet been enforced because of temporary injunctions.

The issue: does the existence of a voter I.D. law bar people from exercising their right to vote?

Voter I.D. is constitutional,” says Nils, Hagen-Frederiksen, press secretary for the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office of General Counsel.

“The trial is about the implementation,” he says. “Right now, in Pennsylvania, any eligible voter that needs an I.D. can get an I.D. free of charge.”

Supporters contend that voter I.D. will prevent voter fraud and ensure the integrity of the electoral process. But opponents charge that it will disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of people, especially minorities, who do not have a photo I.D., and that the measure was a Republican-led effort that was enacted for political reasons.

“This will disproportionately affect persons of color, Latinos, African-Americans and also certain populations. Our elderly really have a hard time getting I.D.,” says Pennsylvania Democratic State Representative Vanessa Lowery Brown, Chairwoman of the state’s Black Caucus.

Oh bite my wing-ding. Your elderly have more darn forms of ID than you do. Medicare, Medicaid, AARP, Denny’s Seniors Club, ID from the Veteran’s Administration, you name it. Plus the same licenses and credit cards that everyone else has. Library cards too. It’s a load of crap.

And yes, the measure was Republican led. For political purposes. The political purpose of trying to take the very first baby step towards honest and fair elections. Such a positively un-American racist idea!!

The state is confident that “the law will stand up in court,” and points out that people can get an I.D. at any one of 71 offices throughout the state. In some cases, people don’t even need to provide any documents…or any written proof of who they claim they are, such as a utility bill, to get one.

“You don’t have to show anything, all you have to do is show up,” says Hagen-Frederiksen.

OK, let me rephrase that. This is a bullshit Republican led effort. For pretending to try to take those first baby steps. No way. Sorry. Uh uh. PROVE you are who you say you are. PROVE you are a citizen. PROVE you have the right to vote (ie not a felon). THEN we’ll take your picture and give you a Voter ID card for free. But you’d better bring it to vote. And we’ll scan you against the III database to make sure you haven’t become a non-voting felon since the card was issued. Any Voter ID law that is so slack that it doesn’t even require proof of identity is a waste of time. And that kind of law is “racist” against ALL OF US. Regardless of color.

I am also well beyond fed up with the prejudice of lowered expectations - lowered so low that they rest in a deep groove cut into the ground - for “minorities”. Minorities my ass. No such thing. We’re all Americans together. Period. Baskin-Robbins comes in 57 flavors but it’s all ice cream. So shut that pie hole for good: let’s really become that post-racial society we heard so much about back in 2008 when electing a half-Black guy as President for every reason on earth OTHER than that he was half-Black (yeah right) ... no more race or ethnicity or gender or faith or sexual identity data on any form anywhere, and purge every data field of that information from every database everywhere in government. Set a 10 year moratorium on all that Affirmative Action silliness. Make every racially based exclusionary group illegal, from the Jewish Student Union on campus to the Senate’s Black Caucus to La Raza. And just start being people. Citizens. All equal. Yeah, like that will ever happen.

Here’s a totally racist (ie completely true) thought: thousands of minorities will be disenfranchised by this, or by any, Voter ID law. Because proper proof of identity will show that thousands and thousands of felons who no longer have the right to vote have been voting the whole time.

Numbers Must Be Racist

Posts today at SBPDL and Rodger’s about the ongoing violent mayhem in Baltimore Maryland. There is a homicide rampage going on in that city, and it isn’t predominantly caused by blacks. No, it’s nearly EXCLUSIVELY caused by blacks.

but but but but ...

Numbers don’t lie.

28 murders in the last 30 days. 26 of them black, 1 white, 1 unknown.

118 murders so far this year. 110 of them black, 7 white, 1 unknown.

217 killings in 2012. 203 of them black, 11 white.

That’s 90% or higher, month after month and year after year. Nor is this trend just occurring in Baltimore. Pick a city, any city, especially one in decline that’s been run by Democrats since forever, and you’ll get almost the exact same results. Sometimes even worse. Right Chicago?

Go and run the database yourself.

Note that these are the victims, not the shooters.

But you can tell that the shooters were other blacks. Because if it was whites shooting blacks this much in this city, perhaps even whites shooting whites, there would be no other news. Ever. Not for a minute. Not the IRS scandal, not Benghazi, not Syria, not Obamacare. Nothing. This is all we would hear, every hour of every day. But inner city black people gunning it up? Fah, that ain’t even news. It’s olds. Gosh, was that racist of me to say that? Ooopsie! Let me make the statement that got me into blogging all those years ago: “NOT SORRY”*.

image

City clergy and members of 120 churches are rallying and praying this weekend for peace.

Even a 21-car motorcade [OF HEARSES] drives through the city showing just how deadly this violent trend is becoming.

“If you put a police officer in every block, you still could not solve the program when the problem is inside of the individual, ” said Bishop Angel L. Nunez of Bilingual Christian Church.

Somebody better send in Chicago Black Jesus to fix this situation, ASA effin’ P.

SOMETIMES YOU JUST KNOW UPDATE

A leopard can’t change it’s spots.
How did that expression ever come about? What induced it’s introduction into our language?  What do folks mean when they use it?  It can cover many subjects but it mostly concerns people, as I have always understood it.

image

One of those darn things that caught my eye and I had to drop everything else.

I think the locals in fact do have a bit to worry about.
I would suppose that getting some kids out of their local environment might be a good thing.  On the other hand, there is I think a reasonable worry on the part of those referred to as, not in my back yard.  The so called justice system is not concerned with justice. Not many people believe they will get help against those who cause problems, and past experiences have proven that to be true.
Then of course there’s the RACE issue which is raised here.  Well sometimes that does play a large part and often for very good reason..

Drew put it very well just recently.

Sometimes you just know

The bothersome thing about stereotypes is that they get that way by so often being true.  Drew458

And that just may be what the locals have in mind, even if they hadn’t read Drew.
Cause they wouldn’t have to, to understand the truth of it. But hey,

That’s R A A A A C I S T!

Tory town tells Gove super-head: We don’t want your inner-city pupils here

· Top-performing Durand Academy in Stockwell wants to open boarding school in Stedham, West Sussex
· But neighbours aghast and say ethnic minority students will cause problems
· They fear influx of weapons and think local forest will be turned into a ‘sexual volcano’
· But education secretary Michael Gove hits back and slams them for blocking ‘inspirational’ project

By Ben Ellery

Education Secretary Michael Gove last night stepped into a bitter race row raging over an inner-city school’s plan to open its own boarding school in an affluent rural area.
The top-performing Durand Academy in Stockwell, near Brixton, South London, wants to transport 600 youngsters to a site with stunning views over the South Downs every Monday morning for lessons and bring them back on Friday evenings, free of charge.
It says the scheme will provide them with ‘an Eton-style experience’ and help keep pupils safe from drugs and knife crime.

NOTE: To Americans and others not familiar. Think of the worst part of your own city wherever you are. A place you don’t want to be even in daylight. Well folks, one of those places is Brixton.  Especially if you just happen to belong to a guilt ridden race out of favor since the left took charge of everything and invented the race industry.  Lets continue.

But the plan has been fiercely criticised by people living near the site – a disused boarding school in the quiet village of Stedham, West Sussex. They have raised concerns about the number of black and Asian students and claimed that youngsters would need to be searched daily for drugs and weapons.
They have also accused Durand’s ‘super-head’ Greg Martin – who has been described as a ‘hero’ by Mr Gove – of ‘spoiling a tranquil place’ by ‘bringing Brixton to the countryside’.

That’s R A A A A C I S T!

But last night Mr Gove’s spokesman hit back and attacked those ‘trying to obstruct an inspirational project’.
His intervention came after a local Tory county councillor expressed fears about the number of ethnic minority students who would attend the school.
John Cherry, 73, told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Ninety-seven per cent of pupils will be black or Asian. It depends what type of Asian. If they’re Chinese they’ll rise to the top. If they’re Indian they’ll rise to the top. If they’re Pakistani they won’t.
‘There are certain nationalities where hard work is highly valued. There are certain nationalities where they are uncertain what this hard work is all about.
‘If the children are not allowed out of the site then it will make them want to escape into the forest – it will be a sexual volcano.
‘Has anyone asked whether these children want to be plucked from their natural surroundings? They have never done boarding before, so they won’t know how it works.

OOOOH … DEFINITELY R A A A A C I S T !

He added: ‘Stockwell is a coloured area – I have no problem with that. To be honest, I would far rather Durand took over a secondary school in London rather than shoving everybody here.’
Anne Reynolds, chairman of a steering group which has been set up in the area to fight the plans, also questioned whether inner-city children would feel comfortable in such a rural environment.
She said: ‘It might raise tensions in their community. Their peers might say, “Why have you been chosen to go to a special, smart school in West Sussex but I haven’t?”
‘The whole thing is a massive experiment and I think it will be disastrous. There’s no evidence it will increase their attainment levels. When you’re a teenager, isn’t it too late to start appreciating the countryside? I don’t know if it’s the right environment.’
At a public meeting in the nearby village of Milland, where actor Hugh Bonneville has a home, one unnamed resident said: ‘You must be wary because you are talking about students who will have to be searched daily for weapons and knives.’ Chichester MP Andrew Tyrie is also ‘extremely unhappy’ with the way the project has been handled and has written to Mr Gove asking him to rethink the idea.
Mr Martin, Durand’s director of education, last night described some of the comments from residents as ‘shocking’ but vowed to press on with the scheme. It is hoped the boarding school will open next year.
He said: I’ve heard a few comments made about pupils escaping and I said I’m not building a prison.
‘It’s sad but it makes us want to fight harder for it, and when this councillor sees the hard work and commitment from ethnic minorities I’m sure he will change his tune.

Might this be one of those little “nudges” we have read about in the past year or more. Or am I the only one who actually remembers? I think Wardmom knows cos she mentioned it only recently. Governmental nudges to get us doing things and thinking their way.

‘We want to get pupils away from hanging around the streets of Brixton and Stockwell, where we have stabbings and a constant threat of trouble. It will be very hard to maintain a negative view when you see students working hard and contributing. You will soon realise these are frankly nothing more than baseless prejudices.’

Baseless prejudices?  Baseless did he say?

Well, maybe but ....

Sometimes you just know

The bothersome thing about stereotypes is that they get that way by so often being true.  Drew458

SOURCE FOR THE ARTICLE

SOURCE FOR THE TRUTH, DREW.

Update to story above: He resigns with usual I am so sorry I said that.

A Tory councillor was forced to resign last night after suggesting inner-city children from a ‘coloured area’ would not be welcome at a proposed new school in the countryside.

Announcing his resignation last night, he said: ‘My remarks were plainly wrong. They were thoughtless and extremely foolish. I unreservedly apologise and withdraw them. I very much regret the distress this must have caused.’

Labour education spokesman Stephen Twigg called for David Cameron to condemn the comments. He said: ‘When a Tory councillor makes openly racist comments like these, it’s no surprise people still think of the Conservatives as the nasty party.’

Lord Ashcroft, the pollster and former Tory donor, said the party won just 16 per cent of the non-white vote at the general election in 2010. In a hard-hitting critique, he said: ‘We must do better than this – both because we should be a party for the whole country, and because we will find it increasingly difficult to win a majority without them.’

And so once again, the politically correct have their way. But the truth is more than likely he was correct in what he said. He just should not have said it out loud as if he had the right to any sort of free speech. Where the heck did he think he was?

Free Guns!

Best liberal smack-down of the day.

Move To Tuscon, Have A Blast

A former mayoral candidate in Tucson, Ariz., is drawing heated criticism from Democrats after he launched a program this week to hand out free shotguns in high-crime neighborhoods.

Shaun McClusky, who kicked off the program Monday, financed it with initial donor commitments of $12,000. He told FoxNews.com that with those private donations alone, he can arm and train 36 people—and hopes to begin that process in 60 days.

McClusky said he’s already received more than a dozen responses from residents, “none of them negative, all of them positive.”

image

The 9 shot Mossberg 590, about $325, makes a great home defense gun. Comes in 12 or 20 gauge

But with McClusky launching the gun handout program in the same area where former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot in 2011, he’s running into stiff resistance from Arizona officials.

State Rep. Victoria Steele, who represents Tucson, called the program “plain lunacy.”

“Arizonans in Tucson and across the state are demanding that we reduce gun violence and create safer communities. Handing out shotguns is not a solution,” she said in a written statement.

Want to bet Ms. Lib? $50 says that crime in the neighborhood he distributes the guns in drops like a friggin’ rock within 3 months.
Especially if he talks up the act, adds some possible BS about a new Neighborhood Watch and Citizen’s Night Patrol. That will drive the Left and the media ( but I repeat myself) bugpoop, freak out the police, and result in a much higher patrol presence in the area. Which will cause crime rates to drop.  Hahahahaa. Just make sure that old Jim Crow helps the guns go to the proper people. Otherwise it WILL be the Wild West.

The program, though, is actually the brainchild of a master’s student at the University of Houston. The student, Kyle Coplen, launched what he calls the Armed Citizen Project, a nonprofit that is handing out “defensive shotguns” for free in certain neighborhoods of Houston and studying the effect on crime rates.

Reached Thursday, Coplen said it’s too early to tell whether there is an effect—but he said he intends to expand the program to 15 cities by the end of the year. Right now, the program is only in Houston and Tucson, with McClusky’s help.

“His idea’s great,” McClusky said Thursday. “So I took his idea and I ran with it here in Tucson.”

McClusky said he’s working with a gun shop that will help procure the shotguns and run the background checks and another school that will help conduct training classes. He said he’s identified three high-crime neighborhoods and estimates it will cost $300 to $350 to arm each person who signs up.

Pure undiluted awesome.

image

That’s right you EUrowienies, in America we sell ammo designed specifically for shooting people

20 gauge shells are very similar

Don’t know shotgun gauges from a hole in the ground? Here’s Heather to help show you the differences. Smaller gauge number equals bigger gun and more recoil

dicks in a dress get some knickers in a twist

See how it works is, press freedom as approved by the scummy, ugly idiots of the left, like Lynne Featherstone. But hey wait, this all started just because Suzanne Moore quite rightly voiced an opinion, not in the press but in her Twitter page.  Moore is a well known journalist here, and the papers all have Twitter pages so perhaps her Twitter account is tied to her paper. Whatever, this truly ugly beast, speaking of Featherstone, seems to believe that folks who have the temerity to voice an opinion not shared by her, are all fascists of the first order and should all go to the wall.

I’m posting this cos apparently a new phobia has been discovered and introduced.
Yeah really.  How’s this grab ya.

Transphobic!  Iz that a werd er what? Write it down and paste it to your fridge or beer cooler.  The word today is,

TRANSPHOBIC

Leave it to the left to come up with terms for non pc crimes that they can attach ‘phobic’ to.

Oh yeah, take a good look at that ugly face on Featherstone and tell me; can you imagine her as an “Equality Minister”? She is a former minister of equality.  Yuk. Nothing that owns a face that ugly should be seen in public unless wearing a burka or a paper bag over her face. Plastic would work very well too.

Two top female writers, an insult about Brazilian transsexuals and a firestorm on Twitter. Do natural-born women have the right to say what they like about men who change sex?

· Julie Burchill has come under fire for a column in yesterday’s Observer
· The columnist described transsexuals as ‘dicks’ in chicks’ clothing’
· She was writing in defence of fellow columnist Suzanne Moore
· Miss Moore had been forced off Twitter after criticism of another article
· She said women were pressured to have bodies like ‘Brazilian transsexuals’
· Lib Dem minister Lynne Featherstone has called for Ms Burchill to be sacked
· Miss Featherstone also wants Observer editor John Mulholland sacked

By Ben Spencer

A controversial newspaper columnist has been accused of being transphobic after she wrote an article attacking transsexuals as ‘bed-wetters in bad wigs’ and ‘dicks’ in chicks’ clothing’.

image

Julie Burchill wrote a column in the Observer yesterday defending her friend and fellow columnist Suzanne Moore who came under fire on Twitter for an article that said women were under pressure to have bodies like ‘Brazilian transsexuals’.
The Observer website was swamped with comments in response to Miss Burchill’s column, many describing it as ‘vile’ and ‘horrible’.
Comments have since been suspended on the story and a message posted on the website says that it is now subject to an ‘inquiry’ to be carried out by the paper’s Readers’ Editor.
The comment also provoked fury on Twitter.
Liberal Democrat minister Lynne Featherstone called for Miss Burchill to be sacked for attacking transsexuals as ‘bed-wetters in bad wigs’.
The former Equalities Minister, a staunch supporter of transsexual rights, said she should be fired and her newspaper’s editor John Mulholland should also go.
Miss Burchill wrote the article in defence of fellow columnist Suzanne Moore, who became the target of transsexuals’ fury over what seemed to be a throw-away comment in a previous article.
Miss Moore, describing the challenges faced by modern women in an article for the New Statesman, had written that modern women were expected to look like ‘Brazilian transsexuals’.
She had said: ‘(Women]) are angry with ourselves for not being happier, not being loved properly and not having the ideal body shape – that of a Brazilian transsexual.’
The comment provoked fury on Twitter and Miss Moore subsequently said she had been forced to stop using the website because of the abuse she had received.
She added that the reaction of ‘the very vociferous transsexual lobby and their grim groupies’ reminded her ‘of those wretched inner-city kids who shoot another inner-city kid dead in a fast-food shop for not showing them enough “respect”.’

Some comments on the subject.

I happen to agree with them and find Ms Featherstone a repulsive moaning Minnie who should be getting on with the job she is overpaid to do, not criticise someone else’s opinion to the extent that she demands that they are sacked. So if you get them sacked, it is not going to change their opinion one iota. You can pass all the PC laws you like, but I for one will promptly ignore them!
- exUKresident ,

The world is completely insane, you cant say anything without hurting peoples delicate feelings or someone else championing them and attacking you in the name of political correctness, all this madness has to come to a head sooner or later, the majority of us are sick of the loud crass minority who will jump on any band wagon they can just to make themselves feel worthy
- frankbull, horley, United Kingdom

Lynne Featherbrain is the one who should be sacked! The day the fabulous Julie Burchill is banned from speaking her mind is the day I emigrate to Syria in search of democracy and free speech!
- Dolly Diamond, Brighton,

Now here’s an opinion from the left that won’t surprise anyone.
This is how they think.
THEY will tell you exactly what free speech is and what it is to be used for. Here, read this.

I love how most people commenting here seem to have mistaken ‘free speech’ with ‘vocal & literal bigotry’. Free speech is for anti-war movements, open debate and parity; not for some jumped-up woman to spew hate and insults which are suited to only one agenda: her own.
- Jiffy, Glasgow, United Kingdom

Another year about to end.  There were trials and tribulations during the year, personal ones, but as this year ends I truly believe I have been one hell of a lucky fellow.

Yes, I end the year with gripes about inconsiderate neighbors, political correctness, and deep frustration at the world I see now.  On the other hand, I consider myself luckier than I deserve to be, and I am very well lucky in the friends I still have.

I’m very fortunate that I happened along at a time when Mr. Christian, as he was called, invited me to join BMEWS as a blogger.  Good grief. That was scary and I almost ran for the hills.  But he gave me confidence that I could, and because of that I have met, on line, all of you.  And I am very thankful for that.  Thankful too that I’m not a libtard cos if I were, jeesh. Not one of you would speak to me.  Well, not in kind terms anyway.  You regulars that I have come to know here are pretty special folk.  I enjoy your comments, and some are funny even when you’re angry.

Many of you are pretty darn good wordsmiths.  I don’t have your ability to use words the way I’d like to, but many of you do.  I appreciate good writing, which I think stems a lot from my association with song writers in Nashville.  Or anywhere else for that matter.  I’ve never been able to work out how or where the words come from.  If I could, I’d be doing it.  So instead I simply jot down here what I’m thinking at any given moment.  Sometimes that ain’t too good cos what I’m think might be nothing more than mushy thinking and I have to go back and edit my thinking.

Can’t end the year without saying thanks to Vilmar, and the sharing of those photographs.  He says he isn’t a professional and maybe he isn’t.  He just creates photos that darn well are professional.

A special friendship that must have its own paragraph is the one I enjoy with Drew.
Letters and emails and questions answered, and I will tell you, favors done by someone I never met personally and who had trust in me, whoa.  That isn’t easily come by.  I am not going to get all gooey and stupid here. I hate that kind of thing. But I just want to acknowledge publicly that he is a friend, and I owe him a lot.
So thanks Drew for the past year and the one before and here’s cheers for the one coming.

I wish I had saved many of the comments made by so many of you for a years end post.  But I didn’t, and there isn’t enough time right now to go into the archives and dig.  I guess I left it too late.  Might be a project for next year though, if I make it that far.  Hey, ya never know.

I do have a few from more recent days.

Meanwhile BMEWS, I wish you a very Safe and a very Healthy New Year.
If you have those, Happy will follow.

Cheers for a great group of people.  ALL OF YOU.

I can not remember who or where I got this from.  So my apologies for not naming.

People who have never had their lives or their families lives or their neighbors lives threatened are not relevant to any discussion of firearms and should not intrude where reality based adults are having conversations.  So STFU because you are in no danger from Americans with guns.  Worry about muslims with guns now that they own your country.

The Law Abiding are the only people who need guns to fend off idiots like Union thugs, gangs, and moonbats in general.  If you don’t see any need for people to own guns, then you are part of the reason people need to own guns.  You are stupid and self centered and oblivious.  That makes you dangerous.

I did a long winded rant on the subject, and CM came back with better in fewer words. The issue was treason and the left, if memory serves.

Hire people to blame those who did the original fix

to hell with free speech!  oh, okay. no problem.

An arrest made over unpopular speech. Only politically correct sentiments are allowed to be expressed in our brave new world.

The guy’s thinking may be askew, but it’s what he feels and so he expressed himself on Facebook.
I think he’s being stitched up due to his very unpopular opinion. Not because he incited racial hatred.  These days where muzzies are concerned, nobody can incite anyone else to hatred because the hate already exists.  People read papers and blogs and communicate over the net and are aware of how things are.  How many times over the last few years have we read about folks or heard them express deep concern that they are losing their country?  And it isn’t all hate at all, although there is that as well of course.

This guy approved of what the mass killer in Norway did.  Well, that’s quite a stretch really.  He thinks that killing those young people was right, because they were future liberal leftists, who he sees as responsible for the mass immigration of an alien people and culture and religion that will sink the west.  Well now, he’s correct about that and no argument there. They will eventually sink the west, because the west doesn’t have the will to protect itself in a manner necessary to insure it’s survival.  It’s much, much too busy being politically correct, as the arrest for a race crime of this man shows.  But I’ll have to hand it to the authorities.  When someone expresses an unkind and unpopular opinion, shut him down quickly.
We can not afford any of that there free speech nonsense. No sir.  The only speech that should be free is that speech approved by the police.

“To Hell With Free Speech”

Does that look familiar?

Father-of-three arrested after praising Anders Breivik for trying to stop ‘invasion by the Muslim population’ on Facebook

Philip Horn says he ‘takes his hat off to mass murderer
Horn is thought to have links with the English Defence League

By Daily Mail Reporter

A British dad has been arrested on suspicion of inciting racial hatred after praising mass murderer Anders Breivik on Facebook, it emerged today.

Philip Horn, 44, allegedly said on the social networking site that he ‘takes his hat off’ to the infamous gunman.

The Norwegian slaughtered 77 adults and teenagers when he bombed government buildings in Oslo and carried out a mass shooting on the island of Utoya in July last year.

Horn, a father-of-three, from Gillingham, was arrested by Kent Police on Thursday afternoon and is currently being held in custody.

Horn, who is reported to have links with the English Defence League, is also alleged to have publicly supported Breivik’s crusade to ‘protect his country from Muslims’.

The unemployed builder from Gillingham, Kent, is said to have posted a message saying: ‘Well done Anders Breivik. I take my hat off to you sir.

‘You proved you were not insane and that you are just one of many like myself who wish their country to return to the way it was before it was invaded by the Muslim population. Respect to you.’

He was also filmed by a national newspaper saying: ‘If someone came to my door in a uniform and said they were going to bang me up for six months then fine. I’m not going to retract any remarks I made.

‘To a certain extent I do defend what he’s [Breivik] done. Go back 40-50 years ago to Norway, would you have seen people walking around in burkas and all that?

‘I am a racist to a certain extent. Of course it’s wrong to kill children, but if he had to do it that way to get his point across, so be it.’

A Kent Police spokesman said: ‘During the afternoon of Thursday, August 30 a 45-year-old man from Gillingham was arrested on suspicion of inciting racial hatred.

‘He is currently in police custody.’

Romney scores no points on trip.

I’m not sure if Americans are getting news of, or are even interested in the recent artificial bru-haha created overseas during speeches and Q & A sessions with Mitt Romney.  Below is just one of the usual swipes taken by Martin Samuel, who delights in finding fault with things American on the political front.  Now that’s my take mind ya and I could just be a bit thin skinned on the subject of things American.

So the first thing that happened was, Romney was asked a question and he answered it based on all the news that the Brits themselves were putting forward.  What else was he supposed to base his answer on?  And .... btw .... he didn’t come into the Brit house as a guest and be all critical about the house curtains, as suggested by CNN’s Brit mouthpiece, Piers Morgan.

For some few weeks before the Olympics, there was GREAT concern about security. Seems the company that was contracted to provide the bodies at just about the last minute, suddenly announced that they were unable to provide the trained personal needed. In fact dear reader, it turned out that they were, SEVERAL THOUSAND SHORT! Sooooooo, the powers that be here filled the shortage with, the Army.  Many returning from a war zone and leaves cancelled etc.  There were a few other problems reported on.  Also, before Romney’s visit there was threat of a couple of strikes by unions the day before the games began.  So you can see where people would worry or at least show some concern about the London Olympics.  And naturally, the newspapers weren’t shy and didn’t avoid loud headlines.  Especially were the issue of security was concerned.

Enter Mitt Romney on the heels of all of this.  He was asked his view about the games which, keep in mind had not yet begun. And so he said,
It’s too soon to tell and went on to explain all of the above that he’d read or had heard.
Wellllllll boys and girls.  The poo hit the proverbial thingy that goes round and round and came out having Romney sticking his nose in Brit business and commenting on things best left not commented on and as described by Morgan, came into their house as a guest and was critical of the curtains.
All of it rubbish.

Mitt’s a disaster — except in the U.S.
By Martin Samuel
Daily Mail

Mitt Romney certainly is a U.S. presidential candidate who could unite the world. Everybody hates him.

This last week, Romney has been crossing continents and boundaries, bringing people together with their shared belief that he is a complete doofus.

Britons, Russians, Palestinians, Slovakians, Chinese, Polish union leaders, somehow Romney has alienated them all — yet back home his popularity has risen to the extent he is tied in the polls with Barack Obama.

Further evidence, if any were needed, that America is the most foreign country of all.

The trip got off on the wrong foot immediately after Romney questioned whether London could pull off holding the Olympics.

Romney, who managed the Salt Lake City Olympics in 2002, faced an angry British public and press, putting Cameron on the defensive.

“We are holding an Olympic Games in one of the busiest, most active, bustling cities anywhere in the world. Of course it’s easier if you hold an Olympic Games in the middle of nowhere,” the prime minister fired back.

The cheeky British press had a field day with Romney, basically labelling him an “American Mr. Bean.” It was a far cry from the hero’s welcome Barack Obama received in Europe during his 2008 campaign.

SOURCE, NATL. POST

Now then, the remark made by the PM, Dave Cameron, was a reference to the games held in Utah and provoked a reply from the mayor of Salt Lake City.

Salt Lake City’s mayor on Thursday extended a tongue-in-cheek invitation to host British Prime Minister David Cameron, offering him a map to show him where the “middle of nowhere” is.

“While those of us who have had the fortune of visiting London know it is certainly a wonderful city, Prime Minister Cameron’s comments likely reflect his lack of familiarity with Salt Lake City,” he said through his spokesman Art Raymond.

“He can stop by, any time — we’d love to have him and happy to send a map so he doesn’t run into any trouble locating the middle of nowhere,” he said in a statement.

The taunt was the latest salvo in a heated transatlantic exchange over the Olympics.

It all started when US presidential hopeful Mitt Romney made some ill-advised remarks about London’s Olympic preparations after arriving in Britain on the first-stop of an international tour designed to showcase his diplomatic skills.

Within hours of landing, NBC television broadcast an interview in which Romney, a Republican, said it was “hard to know just how well” the Olympics would turn out and said there were “a few things that were disconcerting.”

The British press poured scorn on Romney’s comments.

“A few things that were disconcerting”
So that’s all it takes to bring the house down.  But hey, when one is desperate to find fault with a Republican candidate, one takes whatever one can grab at.  Bad American Romney.

Then Mitt flew on to Israel where he spoke in support of the Israeli state and had some words about, oh right. You can read.
Here. Take a look.

It was Romney’s comments in the Middle East that drew the most serious rebuke, however.

On Sunday, he seemingly set aside decades of U.S. foreign policy by calling Jerusalem Israel’s capital and also had an aide say he would “respect” Israel unilaterally striking against Iran.

On Monday, Romney was forced on the defensive after he told a group of wealthy Jewish donors at a breakfast in Jerusalem that their culture was one of the reasons Israelis were more economically successful than Palestinians.

“And as I come here and I look out over this city and consider the accomplishments of the people of this nation, I recognize the power of at least culture and a few other things,” Romney said citing an innovative business climate, the Jewish history of thriving in difficult circumstances and the “hand of providence.”

SOURCE, NATL. POST

The wire services were full of this meanwhile.

Mitt Romney creates fresh divisions on Israel tour with ‘racist’ economic remarks.

Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney has been accused of undermining the Middle East peace process and making “racist” statements during his trip to Israel after telling wealthy Jewish donors that their culture is part of the reason Israelis are more economically successful than nearby Palestinians.

How is it “raaaaaaacist” to point out the obvious truth of a situation?  How far along have the richer Arab countries come with all that oil money?
Sure, they’re better off then the Palestinians.  But as a people, they so far have not matched the Jewish culture in human achievements.
What’s so racist about that?

keep ur i on the ball guys. and forget the bikinis.  that should be easy. yeah right.

This should have a category called Gimme-a- break.

How many women I wonder actually watch this so called sport which is really a summer pastime game or something like that. But okay. You wanna think of it as a sport, fine.  Doesn’t bother me. What does tho is the high highfalutin idea that people and by that term I mean men and you know I did, men shouldn’t be obsessed with the outfits she and the ladies wear.
Gimme-a-break.

image

Men aren’t going to watch this activity in the present numbers with the girls covered. To be critical of the lookers which means most men, is a denial of the only reason they do watch.  Skimpy outfits.  What the hell did this dingbat think brought this game, this pastime, this whatever you call it, what brought it to public attention?
Skimpy outfits on fit women.

So anyway, here’s the headline that greeted us on page 9 of today’s Mail.

We’re fed up with obsession about our skimpy outfits, say scantily-clad GB volleyball girls

By SPORTSMAIL REPORTER

Female beach volleyball players vowed that they would keep wearing their bikinis – despite admitting it was ‘upsetting’ that the sport was known only for skimpy outfits.

Zara Dampney and Shauna Mullin, who form part of Britain’s first ever Olympic beach volleyball team, said bikinis were still the best kit for the sport, despite rule changes which would allow them to cover up if they wished.

‘It’s perfect for our sport,’ Mullin, 27, said. ‘We play in hot countries and I can’t imagine wearing anything else on the sand. I will still be wearing my bikini.’

The players said their family and friends hated the fact that they were recognised only for wearing bikinis.

‘They find it really upsetting. They say to me, “How can they still be talking about your bikinis? Don’t they understand how hard you work?”

‘I try and tell them it will change eventually. But yes, it does upset them.’ Miss Mullin said that whenever the team played, most of the men who attended were there only to see girls in bikinis.

‘It doesn’t really bother me, but I hope they go home with a different attitude once they see us play,’ she said.

Players have been given the option of wearing shorts rather than bikinis during the Olympics. And with dismal weather forecast during the Games, they may well wish to change.

But Dampney, 26, said: ‘If it’s warm, we will be in our bikinis.’

Meanwhile, the teams have learned the identity of their first-round opponents for the tournament starting on July 28.

The women’s team of Dampney and Mullin have been drawn in Group F alongside Greta Cicolari and Marta Menegatti of Italy, Russia’s Ekaterina Khomyakova and Evgenia Ukolova, and Marie-Andree Lessard and Annie Martin of Canada.

OBSESSED WITH SKIMPY OUTFITS?  YOU BETCHA.

Conservative Summit in Denver, Colorado

The following is pretty long as you might expect. So I’ve cut it down and you can read all of it at the link as usual.

This comes from what’s left of The Conservative voice in Europe.

H/T The Brussels Journal

It’s very much worth reading and of course a lot has been said already on the topic.  I wish there were a way to rid ourselves by any means, of the enablers, the liberal left hand wringers who have brought us to this pass.  But then, I can’t think of many people, even conservatives, who’d approve my solution.
Because it would be a very final one. And frankly, I see no other way. If there is one, hey. I’m open to learning new things.

Islam And The Need For Western Vigilance

By Geert Wilders

A few hours ago, Geert Wilders spoke at the Western Conservative Summit in Denver, Colorado. What follows is the complete transcript of his speech.

Thank you, dear friends, ladies and gentlemen, for inviting me to the Western Conservative Summit. It is always a pleasure to come to America. I was here a few weeks ago to meet with my dear friend, congresswoman Michele Bachmann, to talk about Islam and the threat to America and Europe.

It is also a pleasure to be in Denver, the gateway to the West. This is America’s conservative heartland where the spirit of the pioneers still lives.

I know that I come at a sad moment. Many of you have been affected by the enormous wildfires raging not far from here. Thousands have been evacuated and some of them are even staying in this hotel. Few things are as terrible as losing your homes. I want to express my deepest sympathy with all the people affected by this disaster. And I want to offer my condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the fires.

I am impressed by the solidarity and the help which the people of Denver extend to the victims. You live in a great and generous city. Denver is also privileged to be the home of Colorado Christian University and the Centennial Institute with its motto “Faith, family and freedom”. Your motto shows that you have your priorities right. Faith, family and freedom are the pillars of our Judeo-Christian civilization and need to be defended.

I feel honored to have been invited to address you today about the situation in Europe and in particular in my own country, the Netherlands. This situation serves as a warning to what might happen in America if you fail to be vigilant. As U.S. President Andrew Jackson said: “Remember, my fellow citizens, that eternal vigilance is the price of liberty, and that you must pay the price if you wish to secure the blessing.”

But first, let me start by introducing myself. I am one of the 150 members of the House of Representatives in the Netherlands, a small country of almost 17 million people in Western Europe. I am the leader of the Party for Freedom. My party is the third largest of eleven parties represented in the Dutch parliament.

Perhaps many of you think that life for this politician in the Netherlands resembles the life of the members of your own Congress. Unfortunately, that is not the case. For the past eight years I have been living under 24 hour police protection. Wherever I go, plainclothes policemen go with me. I live in a government safe house, heavily protected and bulletproof.

I am driven every day from the safe house to the Dutch parliament in armored police cars with flashing blue lights.

I have not walked the streets on my own in the past eight years. When I occasionally go to a restaurant or a movie theater, the police will have to check everything first. My wife and I have lived in army barracks and prisons cells just to be safe from assassins.

Why do I need this protection? I am not a president or a king; I am a mere parliamentarian.

I have, however, been marked for death for criticizing Islam. I was placed under police protection in early November 2004 when an Islamic fanatic murdered th Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh because he had criticized Islam. Van Gogh was slaughtered in broad daylight in the streets of Amsterdam. A few hours later, the police found a letter written by the assassin threatening to kill me as well.

What have I done, you might ask, to deserve those death threats? I have candidly expressed my views about Islam.

My views, in a nutshell, are that Islam, rather than a religion, is predominantly a totalitarian ideology striving for world dominance. I believe that Islam and freedom are incompatible.

Some people do not want to hear this message. That is why they threaten to murder everyone who states this truth.

I do not want Europe nor America to become Islamic.

There is only one Islam and it is a dangerous ideology. It is intolerant, it is violent. It should not be tolerated, but should be contained.

In Europe, we are experiencing that if Islam becomes stronger in a society – even when the majority of Muslims are moderates – a society becomes less free and more intolerant of non- Muslims.

Former congressman Tom Tancredo, a native and inhabitant of this great city, whom I visited in his office in Washington in late 2008, once said referring to Miami: I quote “Look at what has happened to Miami. It has become a Third World country. You would never know you’re in the United States of America. You would certainly say you’re in a Third World country.” – end of quote.

The same applies to Europe: Certain parts of our inner cities no longer look like Europe. They look like suburbs of Cairo, Rabat, Algiers, Damascus or Mecca.

As the Muslim population is concentrated in urban areas, many European cities have very large Islamic concentrations. We are confronted with headscarves and burkas, polygamy, female genital mutilation, honor-killings.

During the past three decades, Europe made a fatal mistake. It allowed millions of people from Islamic countries to immigrate into Europe. So many people rooted in a culture entirely different from our own Judeo-Christian and humanist tradition have entered Europe that our heritage, our freedoms, our prosperity and our culture are in danger.

Perhaps, many Americans still believe that Europe is the place they know from a tourist trip or from their grandparents’ stories. This Europe is on the verge of disappearing.

“In each one of our cities” wrote the Italian author Oriana Fallaci shortly before her death in 2006, “there is a second city, a state within the state, a government within the government. A Muslim city, a city ruled by the Koran.” – End of quote.

Perhaps many Americans see immigration as something which is inherently good for a country, since it contributed so much to the United States. But while most of the former immigrants to the United States came from Europe, a continent with the same Judeo-Christian roots as America, Europe’s contemporary immigrants do not share our common roots. On the contrary, the islamization of our society is undermining our Western Judeo-Christian values.

3 cheers for pupils at Zwelihle High School in Umlazi, South Africa. Well done kids.

Here’s something of real interest from the morning papers.
This is how it’s done by school kids, who’ve been pushed that one bit too far.

I’m certain they’re black because too many white kids in this situation would first look to make sure nobody’s rights were being violated. Plus if it happened here in the UK they’d have had to get the folks from Health and Safety to approve, which they might provided the bad guys got a head start and were wearing head gear like construction helmets.  Then some ass wipe civil rights group would get their licks in finding that the bad guys were disadvantaged growing up and you know the rest.

So here’s three cheers and three cheers more, for those wonderful kids who took their school back and eliminated a couple of gremlins in the process.

For the pupils at Zwelihle High School in Umlazi, South Africa

HIP, HIP HURRAY

South African schoolchildren stone to death two teenage robbers (who were chased by FIVE HUNDRED pupils)

By NICK ENOCH

South African schoolchildren aged between 12 and 14 have stoned to death two teenagers who allegedly stole from them in class.
The pupils attacked the gang of three youths, believed to be aged 15, after their money and mobile phones were taken at gunpoint.
About 500 pupils from Zwelihle High School in Umlazi, on the outskirts of Durban in KwaZulu-Natal region, chased the thieves, who had apparently entered the premises through a hole in a fence.

After catching up with them, some of the schoolchildren then pelted them with stones.
Two gang members died while a third suffered life-threatening injuries.
The incident is a shocking extension of the country’s vigilante culture.

Many of the country’s poorest areas as so ill-served by police that locals routinely administer ‘street justice’ against alleged criminals.
So common are vigilante attacks that the Zwelihle lynching, which happened on February 24, has passed almost unremarked upon locally.
The local Daily News newspaper was one of the few media organisations to cover the story.

It quoted a unnamed female pupil who witnessed the 10am attack.
‘We know these guys. They bully the schoolchildren all the time and steal their money and other valuables. They are known to attack pupils inside the school too’, the pupil said.

The pupil explained that during the course of the robbery, some of the schoolchildren started to suspect that the robbers’ gun was not working.
‘They confronted the robbers and asked them if their gun was working. They started running. This did not stop us. Everyone gave chase. We were all sick and tired of their bad habits’, she said.

It was as the gang ran towards a nearby township, the pupil told the paper, that some children started to throw stones.
‘Some of the pupils eventually caught them at the settlement. They started hitting them and pelting them with stones. More than 500 children were there.’
She added: ‘We are very happy they are dead. At least now they won’t worry anyone.

‘It is also a warning to other robbers. We are not afraid of guns. They will feel fire if they rob us again.

‘We are sick and tired of being terrorised by criminals and bullies in the area.’

On the other hand, here’s how things are done in a socialist nanny state where nobody wants to hurt the feeling much less anything else, even of criminals.  The headline reads,

GUN ROBBERS WALK FREE
Three teenagers from “ respectable” families who carried out a series of gunpoint street robberies walked free from court after a judge said their criminal records would be punishment enough.

Hey-hey. That’ll teach the little bastards okay. Bet they’re quaking in their boots but more from laughter then fear.

Then there’s this from last week’s Mail.

Fergie’s killer aide could be freed from jail within weeks

By Ian Drury

A former royal aide who is in prison for murder could walk free within weeks.

Jane Andrews, 44, once one of the Duchess of York’s most trusted members of staff, will appear at a parole board hearing as early as mid-March.
Andrews, who spent nine years as Sarah Ferguson’s dresser, could be recommended for release if the panel thinks she has been rehabilitated.
A parole board source said: ‘If she is successful, it is possible that she will be released back into the community next month.’
Andrews was jailed for life in 2001 for killing her wealthy boyfriend Thomas Cressman.

The builder’s daughter from Cleethorpes murdered Mr Cressman at the house they shared in Fulham, West London, after he made clear he would not marry her.
In a cold-blooded revenge attack she clubbed him unconscious with a cricket bat before stabbing him in the chest with an 8in knife and fleeing the scene.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere
It's been a long strange trip without you Skipper, but thanks for pointing us in the right direction and giving us a swift kick in the behind to get us going. Keep lookin' down on us, will ya? Thanks.

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
