Hey Reuters: Blow It Out Your Ass

Lyin ass mutha fuckas ... I am SICK TO DEATH of this bullshit meme.

I am SICK TO DEATH of America being blamed every fuggin time for the violent sociopathic actions of deranged uneducated savages.

I shall not submit, and I shall not apologize.

And Reuters NEEDS TO BURN. They seem to approve of certain groups resorting to violence on a constant basis to express their hurt feewings, so the rest of the world ought to be able to act the same way. And Reuters blaming me and my country for all this is an unfair criticism that hurts my feelings and makes me mad. So all their offices should be torched, and all their people torn to shreds and fed to sharks. All of them. Worldwide. What, that’s sick? Psychotic? Insane? Illegal? No, it can’t be. Reuters pushes this meme all the time as being perfectly fine behavior for 1/5 of the world’s population. So it must be Ok for the rest of us, right?

Insults to Islam ignite violence in Pakistan, 15 killed

by Aisha Chowdry

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Muslim protests against insults to the Prophet Mohammad turned violent in Pakistan, where at least 15 people were killed on Friday, the Muslim day of prayer, but remained mostly peaceful in other Islamic countries.

In France, where the publication of cartoons denigrating the Prophet stoked anger over an anti-Islam video made in California, the authorities banned all protests over the issue.

“There will be strictly no exceptions. Demonstrations will be banned and broken up,” said Interior Minister Manuel Valls.

Tunisia’s Islamist-led government also banned protests against the images published by French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo. Four people were killed and almost 30 wounded last week when the U.S. embassy was stormed in a protest over the film.

Many Western and Muslim politicians and clerics have appealed for calm, denouncing those behind the mockery of the Prophet, but also condemning violent reactions to it.

At street level, Muslims enraged by attacks on their faith spoke of a culture war with those in the West who put rights to freedom of expression above any religious offence caused.

“They hate him (the Prophet Mohammad) and show this through their continued works in the West, through their writings, cartoons, films and the way they launch war against him in schools,” said Abdessalam Abdullah, a preacher at a mosque in Beirut’s Palestinian refugee camp of Bourj al-Barajneh.

Muslims consider any depiction of the Prophet blasphemous.

Well, they are partially right. [ OTOH, Oh Puh-leez: “refugee camp”? WTF do you think you’re still fooling with that load of horse apples? Try “city made of reinforced concrete will paved roads and all the modern infrastructure”. There ain’t been a tent in that “camp” for 30 years! ]

We do hate your perverted pedophile prophet. We hate your politico-theological tyranny, which has stifled human thought and creativity for 1000 years now. We hate the sexism built into it. We hate the violence built into it. We hate the arrogance built into it, and mostly we hate the absolute intolerance built into it. YOUR FAITH IS SO WEAK AND YOUR FALSE GOD AND PROPHET ARE SO IMPOTENT that none of it can stand up to any criticism or debate. Your philosophy has always been “join us or die” with the ‘merciful’ caveat of “and/or live under us as a 4th class citizen”. And your proclamations of non-violence fall on ears deafened by the infinite number of murderous explosions carried out in the name of your faith. You are the very definition of hypocrisy; it is built right in to your rules: lying to the infidels is OK, making false treaties with them is OK. You have no honor because you are only conditionally honest at best.

Let me repeat that. YOU HAVE NO HONOR.

But the worst part of Pisslam is that you don’t love dogs, bacon, or hot chicks in tight tank tops and Daisy Dukes. Which just proves how totally fucked up you all are. You can’t handle pets, lunch, or sexy pretty girls. FAIL * 3. So go away and die somewhere please, so the rest of the normal world can continue moving forward. You are the anchor of the planet, mired in the distant past, holding us all back. Time to cut the chain.

Norway: Socialist Tyranny

Today’s Totally Misleading Headline:

Norwegian Justice: Just 10 Years for Murder of 77?

A Norwegian court sentenced Anders Behring Breivik to prison on Friday, denying prosecutors the insanity ruling they hoped would show that his massacre of 77 people was the work of a madman, not part of an anti-Muslim crusade. Breivik smiled with apparent satisfaction when Judge Wenche Elisabeth Arntzen read the ruling, declaring him sane enough to be held criminally responsible and sentencing him to “preventive detention,” which means it is unlikely he will ever be released.

The sentence brings a form of closure to Norway, which was shaken to its core by the bomb and gun attacks on July 22, 2011, because Breivik’s lawyers said before the ruling that he would not appeal any ruling that did not declare him insane.

But it also means Breivik got what he wanted: a ruling that paints him as a political terrorist instead of a psychotic mass murderer. Since his arrest, Breivik has said the attacks were meant to draw attention to his extreme right-wing ideology and to inspire a multi-decade uprising by “militant nationalists” across Europe.

Prosecutors had argued Breivik was insane as he plotted his attacks to draw attention to a rambling “manifesto” that blamed Muslim immigration for the disintegration of European society.

Breivik argued that authorities were trying to cast him as sick to cast doubt on his political views, and said during the trial that being sent to an insane asylum would be the worst thing that could happen to him.

“He has always seen himself as sane so he isn’t surprised by the ruling,” Breivik’s defense lawyer Geir Lippestad said.

The five-judge panel in the Oslo district court unanimously convicted Breivik, 33, of terrorism and premeditated murder and ordered him imprisoned for a period between 10 and 21 years, the maximum allowed under Norwegian law.

Say WHAT??? 10 YEARS for gunning down 77 people, many of them children? Horry Clap, that’s LESS THAN 48 DAYS PER MURDER!!

Forget Norway!! [ come on, how often do I get a chance to use that one? NEVER!! ]

But the REAL truth isn’t even hidden in the article ... the teaser is blatantly misleading. Breivik didn’t get 10 years. He didn’t get 21 years. He got the maximum sentence allowed under Norwegian law, and Norway is a socialist state ruled by a king. Which means the rules don’t really apply, and Breivik is serving AT THE KING’S PLEASURE. Which means he is in jail forever.

But it also means that Norway is a tyranny, where the rules changes depending on which individual is involved. And it is perfidious sanctimonious bullshit on the order of Teh Fwench to claim “loving compassionate leniency” on the one hand (Breivik only got 10 years and may be out in less?) and iron fisted authority with the other (Breivik ‘ sentencing him to “preventive detention,” which means it is unlikely he will ever be released ‘). Socialism + Tyranny = Hypocrisy? Although Socialism = Hypocrisy and Tyranny = Hypocrisy are also tautologies.

I just think it’s two faced to call it 10 years, and for the news media to present it that way, when the reality is a life sentence with zero chance of parole. Somebody, somewhere, is a lying cheating mothafucka, playing us.

some world news in brief

There way too much to ignore today.
Took off yesterday and find nothing has changed.  The world is still nuts.
Logic and common sense are still somewhere but not close by, if what I read resembles the truth.

There are some “rights” that people are entitled to and that libs have added to. Or else lawyers who find new “rights” every day. Including,

RIGHTS’ OF BOOTLEGGERS

No kidding.  Apparently the naming and shaming of people selling dangerous bootleg hooch and tobacco breaches their human rights.
Pretty silly anyway since I can’t see many folks would be shamed much by that activity.

A city council (Derby, pronounced as Darby. Don’t ask.) wanted to publish the names of the stores that sold bogus goods which avoid tax and can actually be harmful to health.
Some alcohol being sold has more then seven times the permitted level of something I never heard of but it’s called, cadmium.  Which I’m informed does damage to the kidneys, and also six time the amount of lead.  Now that’s pretty serious.

I’m all for the guys who smuggle cigarettes, even though I’m not a smoker. The authorities haven’t the nerve and politicians don’t have either, to treat booze the same way they treat cigs. That’s cos the cigarette industry was more a sitting duck and hadn’t the power of the alcohol lobby.  They treat smokers like criminals but I’ve never heard of a smoker committing any crime to support that habit.
I just HATE Big Brother.  And that cigarette tax is nothing less then legal theft happily supported by the wimpy left.
But the idea that anyone, even the ones I would turn a blind eye to, have a right to break the law by hiding behind human rights, seems a step too far.

Well heck. That’s minor stuff but simply something I was made aware of without looking for it. The really big story this afternoon is the following.

You’re all familiar with that rat bastard Julian Assange. Right?  Well you’ll know by now that last month he ran to the ecuadorian embassy where the Brit police can not go to arrest him.  He is wanted by Sweden on charges of sexual assault.
But he has made the claim and his idiot supporters including the turd world embassy believe, that he would then be given over to the Americans for execution (oh if only) on charges of treason.  So they have granted this miserable lying rat fink asylum. Everyone here knows he couldn’t qualify for a treason charge and I think even the stupid commies of ecuador (which for now I refuse to spell with caps) know that is bogus.
No, what this is, is a finger in Uncle Sam’s eye as Littlejohn so rightly says.
He’s a lying SOB and btw he doesn’t bathe much and his room at the embassy stinks.

His supporters (as a few I heard on the radio) keep talking about the death penalty in America conveniently forgetting there’s a couple of women in Sweden who are claiming sexual abuse.  I don’t know if their claim is true or as he claims he’s been set up. But since he’s avoiding his extradition to Sweden while holed up in the ecuador embassy, there won’t be a trial to determine what the truth is.  But he sure acts guilty.
He’s a pure fake.  He’s educated to a degree where he knows damn well his worthless life would not be under any sort of threat in the USA.
Oh well, that is unless I was armed and within range of the puke. I honestly believe I would not be able to resist pulling the trigger on this shit. And anyway, at my age, there’s not much runway left and so not much to lose. Bang, bang. One less enemy of my country.

Here’s link I believe you should take a peek at.

ASSANGE PUKE SOURCE

The WikiLeaks siege fiasco: As tiny Ecuador saves Assange from extradition by granting asylum, 40 police surround embassy… and if he steps outside, they’ll pounce

Police operation will cost at least £50,000 a day
Fears he could be smuggled out in a diplomatic bag

I’d Go With Reason #6

Oh Noes, Mittens Won’t Release His 1040s!!!

6 reason why - what is evil Romney hiding???

Just another day in the liberal attack dog media. GOP Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney still refusing to let the press pour over his tax returns. And thus they suspect nefarious doings!!

Romney digs in his heels even as some Republicans say it’s time for him to give the public a better look at his personal finances

With President Obama’s campaign hammering Mitt Romney over his personal finances, even some Republicans have begun calling for the presumptive GOP nominee to release more than two years of his tax returns. Conservative political analysts say Romney is allowing people to assume he has something to hide. “It’s crazy” not to release several more years of returns, “tomorrow,” says William Kristol, editor of The Weekly Standard. Despite the pressure, Romney said Monday on Fox News that he was releasing his 2010 and 2011 returns, and nothing more.

Wait, what? You run the headline Why Romney Won’t Release His Tax Returns: 6 Theories, and in the very first paragraph you’re telling us that he is actually releasing his tax returns? Some of them? Misleading headline, much?

So you make up a list of maybes, pure supposition, and you then call this news? You’ve got to be kidding me.
1. Romney is really rich, therefore evil.
2. Romney is really rich, therefore evil, and can afford the best accountants, thereby not paying any taxes at all and thus more evil.
3. Romney is really rich, therefore evil, and therefore his riches came from exploiting everyone else, legally or illegally, therefore he has something to hide. Which makes him more evil.
4. Romney is really rich, therefore evil, but he’s one of those sex cultist morons Mormons, so he probably does that perverted tithing thing, and seeing his tax returns would show just how close his fiscal ties to that sicko cult really are. Which makes him more evil.
5. Romney is really rich, therefore evil, and he’s all stuck up about it because he thinks he’s better than everyone else. Which makes him more evil.
6. Romney is ... damn, I’ve run out of reasons. Maybe he won’t release his tax returns because IT’S NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS.

He’s not telling us how many guns he owns either. And we’re not seeing text message pics of his man junk. Because that’s none of our damn business either. And I hope it stays that way.

It’s not like you or I or almost any journalist could make sense of his tax returns. The guy has bucks, big ones, so I’m assuming his investments are broad and deep. That implies that his tax returns are large and highly complex. They’d be clear as mud to everyone except other seriously rich people and the tax accountants who work for them. So if the IRS isn’t coming after him, I say that’s good enough. And the press should eff off.

The IRS only requires you to keep records going back 7 years. The press would really like to see at least that far back, even further, so they can make a bunch of noise about his time at Bain Capital. I think it’s time some of these baying hounds were given a NoBark collar with a double battery pack.

An Unexpected Oops

image

Nice catch by Right, Wing-Nut! for this. Go visit and read his post, and a half dozen more well written recent posts on the economy and the O-regime.

Employers probably created 150,000 jobs last month, according to a Reuters survey of economists, after generating a paltry 115,000 positions in April - the fewest in six months.

That would bring nonfarm employment growth closer to its 176,000 a month average of the past three months and temper fears that economic activity could be stagnating...

Turns out that a mere 69,000 jobs were created in May.

Damn those facts! They get in the way of our agenda driven BS every time!

(news item from the day before ...)

New claims for unemployment benefits rose last week for the fourth straight week, which could heighten concerns the labor market recovery is softening.

Initial claims for state unemployment benefits rose 10,000 to a seasonally adjusted 383,000, the Labor Department said on Thursday.

The prior week’s figure was revised up to 373,000 from the previously reported 370,000. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast claims unchanged last week.

Claims have now risen in seven of the last eight weeks. Most of those increases were marginal and the overall level of claims has held at levels consistent with a modest recovery in the labor market.

But the steady increase could add to the concerns raised by April’s disappointing 115,000 gain in nonfarm payrolls. A Labor Department report due on Friday is expected to show employers added 150,000 jobs in May.

So which glass of Pravda will you drink from? The official government happy-happy-joy-joy smoke and mirrors rectally-extracted guesstimation tonic, or the quickly-going-rancid cold milk of reality?

Fair And Balanced?

I can’t say if Fox News is getting on the gun control bandwagon again, or if they’ve decided to report more stories of violent crime in the wake of the Treyvon story, or if it’s just been a busy week for the shooters, but I did notice that today’s news has quite a lot of these stories. Maybe it is a good thing, maybe not. Depends on how you want to spin it. But people shoot each other every day in America, for a variety of reasons; some groups of people are more violence prine than others seemingly, and some areas are far more violence prone than others, no question about it. Perhaps if Fox were to just report them all, it would open everyone’s eyes to the reality. Raise their awareness. The stories are out there, locally. And many could be written if reporters made a tiny bit of effort. Perhaps it would be best not to categorize them at first, and just let a pattern emerge. You can see it already if you know how to read between the line a little: “Police in Gary are looking for a purple PT Cruiser and a white Cadillac involved in the shooting.” Gangs and ghettos and felons, oh my. And crazy psychotic evil people.

5 Detroit men charged with kidnapping, torturing, killing 2 women.

Texas flash mob beach party shooting, 1 dead, 3 wounded.

Shot dead in the street for his sneakers.

Father dies as human shield shot many times, protecting his 8 year old son Tre.

violent felon Nakwon Foxworth shoots 4 cops in Brooklyn shootout.

AZ Taco Bell drive-through customer shoots special needs pedestrian.

Possibly hispanic guy in hoodie robs Walmart, shoots and kills manager.

and the list goes on. And on. Albert Rodriguez Arias stabs his elderly father 6 times with knife, turns himself in. Maybe it’s high time the news groups started running the stories. There is a lot more crime going on than most of us realize; don’t just report the most sensational cases.

Speaking of sensational ...

Taking it up a notch? Florida prostitute borrows idea from “McNuggets hooker”, will have sex for 2 double cheeseburgers. And a $40 tip. Busted!

No word on what she’d do for fries and a Coke.

Put the brakes on, right away!!!  update

Want to watch the Trayvon Martin story simply disappear down the memory hole?

I think it will. Because it’s just come out that George Zimmerman is a registered Democrat. Imagine that, a Hispanic guy from Florida is an Obama voter. Who carries a gun.

The media keeps referring to this guy as a “White Hispanic”. I didn’t know there were such Baskin-Robbins flavors of people. Does this mean the MSM is going to start calling Obama a “White Black”, since he’s provably a halfrican?

This appeared in the morning paper, March 28.
Thought I should add to Drew’s post cos this is interesting in spite Al Sharpton’s incoherent screaming as aired by the BBC. Oh yeah. It’s getting played here.
Oh btw .... anyone hear anymore on the two poor Brit tourists murdered in Florida by that black thug who bragged about it?

U.S. pastor C.L. Bryant, former leader of the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People, calls Reverend Jesse Jackson and Reverend Al Sharpton ‘race hustlers’ for ‘exploiting’ the shooting death of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin.

Meanwhile, Trayvon’s mother, Sybrina Fulton, has applied to trademark ‘I Am Trayvon’ and ‘Justice for Trayvon’ for products including ‘digital materials, namely, CDs and DVDs featuring Trayvon Martin’.

RCOB Moment

New York Times:

The Constitution Is Outmoded And No Longer Popular

Give me a little while to write this post. In the meantime, dig the One World Socialist claptrap at this link. Maybe the Constitution isn’t as popular around the world as it once was because of the global rise of tyranny and theological despotism? That the rest of the world is sliding away from freedom even faster than we are? But no, let’s not look at that. Let’s regurgitate the Obama “fundamentally flawed” horse apples line.

‘We the People’ Loses Appeal With People Around the World

[some academic study was done comparing every constitution written from 1946 to 2006 with ours. Most were really close to ours until 1980, but it all went to hell after 2000.]

“The turn of the twenty-first century, however, saw the beginning of a steep plunge that continues through the most recent years for which we have data, to the point that the constitutions of the world’s democracies are, on average, less similar to the U.S. Constitution now than they were at the end of World War II.”

There are lots of possible reasons. The United States Constitution is terse and old, and it guarantees relatively few rights. The commitment of some members of the Supreme Court to interpreting the Constitution according to its original meaning in the 18th century may send the signal that it is of little current use to, say, a new African nation. And the Constitution’s waning influence may be part of a general decline in American power and prestige.

Gee, that’s just peachy. We’re losing all our power and prestige ... by never letting our military achieve decisive victory, weak-willed foreign policy, and apologists for leaders? Heck, who needs enemies when we’ve got our own Supreme Court?

In a television interview during a visit to Egypt last week, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the Supreme Court seemed to agree. “I would not look to the United States Constitution if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012,” she said. She recommended, instead, the South African Constitution, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms or the European Convention on Human Rights.

Is this shriveled up old eugenicist commie still with us? Can’t we fire her for this kind of attitude?

But the Constitution is out of step with the rest of the world in failing to protect, at least in so many words, a right to travel, the presumption of innocence and entitlement to food, education and health care.

It has its idiosyncrasies. Only 2 percent of the world’s constitutions protect, as the Second Amendment does, a right to bear arms. (Its brothers in arms are Guatemala and Mexico.)

Now we come down to it! The universal red agenda, and the media’s permanent unwillingness to understand the 10th Amendment. Or the 1st for that matter. Or the 2nd. Or the 3rd, 4th, 5th, ... . “the right of the people peaceably to assemble” does not say where does it? Because it can be anywhere, which means you can go anywhere to do that. Ipso facto, the right to travel.

Presumption of innocence? The 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Amendments are all about citizen’s rights before, during, and after trials. Half the Bill of Rights focuses on that one aspect, that most of us will never have to contend with. The 5th utterly puts paid to that “missing a presumption of innocence statement” for anyone who can actually understand what they are reading. No, it isn’t spelled out in those exact words, but you can’t get Due Process, no self-incrimination, the necessity of a Grand Jury, etc - in other words, the whole damn 5th - without it. Perhaps the world needs Reading Comprehension 101 instead of Our Annual Constitution 3.12.b? Nor should we forget that this document was written by white people descended from those who came here from England. English Common Law, The Age of Reason, and all that Natural Philosophy stuff. All of it common knowledge at that time. And that right is enshrined there, which any literate person then knew, or any literate person could know now if they made a bit of effort to learn ... because the socialists that run the state run, unconstitutionally federally funded school systems aren’t telling you.

Entitlement to food, education, and health care? Crivens. No, you’re NOT ENTITLED to any such thing in this country, at the federal level. See the catch? These are States issues. Moreover, in a truly free country, it is your right to starve, your right to be stupid, and your right to die of whatever disease you wish. The free citizen is a responsible one, not a line shuffling drone of the state looking for yet another handout.

So, if ours sucks so much, and is so out of step with the times, and so irrelevant, who’s is the model to follow?  Why, Canada’s! That great socialist going-nowhere nation to the north. Holy cats.

Can we get a single lick of common sense in this article please?? Please???

… there is more to a constitution than its words, as Justice Antonin Scalia told the Senate Judiciary Committee in October. “Every banana republic in the world has a bill of rights,” he said.
...
“Of course,” Justice Scalia continued, “it’s just words on paper, what our framers would have called a ‘parchment guarantee.’ ”

Antonin Scalia, FTW, gold medal. Cut through all the BS and get at the truth, John Bolton style.

If you would like more refutations against this kind of leftist drivel, read this page that covers all these “missing” parts and more. They also have a pocket Constitution for $5, in case you lent yours out. I bought one because I had to stop and look up a couple of Amendments to verify that I had the wording right. I ought to be able to quote it all, chapter and verse, and rail on by the hour on what each and every part means.

This post is for you Mr. Woods, wherever you are. (he was my 11th grade teacher for Constitutional Law, the hardest class in my high school. And just about the only one that really mattered in the long run)

The only thing he could have done to make it better would have been to say “Don’t be like Obama and try to blame your mistakes on someone else.”

Never retreat, never surrender. Now let the smack-down commence.

Empathy? Who has any?

Source

Emperor Misha I has ranted…

The “Empathy” of the Loony Left
Posted by Emperor Misha I on January 7, 2012

It’s Saturday, so it’s time for Steyn, who this weeks talks about the strange version of “empathy” the Prognazis employ.

You know, the kind of “empathy” that extends only to the “right” of pregnant women to exterminate their “fetuses”, but certainly not to the parents of children who died before or immediately after birth. Witness Prognazi Alan Colmes, that throwback to the darkest ages of knuckle-dragging barbarism, who had a jolly old time mocking the Santorums for “taking home their dead infant to ‘play’ with it”, followed by the equally morally repugnant stinking swine Eugene Robinson who stated that this “proved” that Santorum was not “merely” weird, but really weird.

We’ll let Steyn say it (and you really ought to go read the whole thing):

But needs must, and victory by any means necessary. In 2008, the Left gleefully mocked Sarah Palin’s live baby. It was only a matter of time before they moved on to a dead one.

We haven’t ever had to face the horror of having a child die but, as Steyn says, there but for the Grace of G-d.

The thing is, even though we’ve never had to deal with an experience and horrible as that, we still somehow manage to scrape up enough humanity and actual empathy not to piss on somebody who has gone through it. It must be that cold, indifferent, self-sufficient right wing nuttism in us, unlike the true humanitarians in the Prognazi Party who, like that lizard-faced freak mutation, Alan Colmes, couldn’t find it in himself to even apologize for something he shouldn’t have said in the first place until he’d reduced Mrs. Santorum to tears with his callous, cruel, subhuman mockery.

May Almighty G-d have mercy on his shriveled, black soul, because we won’t. He’s dead to us.

But such is the “empathy” of the Prognazis that they forever brag about and use as a contrast to us evil, indifferent, hatey haters of the right.

Where’s their empathy for the citizens living in dangrous neighborhoods who can’t defend themselves thanks to the Prognazis’ insistence that only criminals ought to be armed? Where’s their empathy with the families of victims of violent crime when they do everything they can to make sure the criminal is let out quickly to murder, maim and rape again? Where’s their empathy with poor families who will soon be unable to pay their electric bills thanks to their fascist Ogabe EPA’s war on energy production? Where’s their empathy with the millions of Americans who have lost everything, not only their jobs, thanks to their war on business?

Where’s their empathy with the coming generations of Americans who will be born with an overcharged national credit card, a debt they’ll never be able to repay, just so the Prognazis could keep on living high on the hog and charge their vote-buying, nepotistic schemes to generations not even born yet?

Yet we’re the Evil Ones.

Well, if what the Prognazis have been exhibiting for everybody to see for as long as they’ve been around is “empathy”, then they can fucking well have it. We’ll stick with our “hateful” ways and be proud of them too.

Fuck them sideways with the Shimmering, Shit-encrusted, Splintered Shillelagh of Sodom (+4 against Socialist Shits), may they be humped viciously for all eternity by the Many-headed Monster Cock of Moloch until their shredded innards run down their legs and may G-d, in his mercy, grant us all the blessing of amnesia that we may, one day, forget our sinful negligence in suffering them to walk among us unmolested.

Thatisall.

You gotta love his way with words and alliteration.

Shimmering, Shit-encrusted, Splintered Shillelagh of Sodom (+4 against Socialist Shits)

Why is it I think he misspent part of his youth playing D&D?

From the beginning, Occupy Wall Street was a huge progressive political Lollapalooza, an operation supported by unions and Democrats, planned and coordinated by career anarchists, and populated by students and fellow travelers. It quickly descended into a circus, a freak show, and a crime scene.

The Obama campaign, the Democratic Party, and the media colluded in an attempt to create class war in America in the pursuit of getting President Obama re-elected and ending the momentum of limited government conservatism as embodied in the Tea Party.

READ IT ALL, in staggering detail, at Breitbart. A well done essay, indeed.

Today’s Lesson: Sex Sells

Well, at least she won’t have any student loan debt

image

poor college student barely gets by, stripping off online for $31/hr

‘Why I stripped on webcams to pay for my uni fees’: Woman tells how she turned to the sex industry to fund her studies

* She is forced to continue stripping because ‘there are no jobs for young people at the moment’
* One in five lapdancers are students, NUS warns
* NUS says students turning to ‘informal’ sector for cash
* Emma Green was paid £200-a-week to strip for men on webcam

That about says it all, doesn’t it? Read the rest. Savvy young business woman, or lazy skank making excuses? It’s not like she was going for a degree in particle physics.

Personally, I think she looks pretty used up for a 25 year old.

The Brit press loves to publish these “I was forced to turn tricks to pay for my school (or baby, or whatever)” stories, in a bit of socialist arm twisting, since Big Bad Government had to audacity to cut down on the education free ride a while back. Remember the riots?

I betcha Riot Babe here could be a $50/hr cam girl

Connect The Dots?

Polar bears eating their young, blame Glowball Worming!

BBC Caught Faking Polar Bear Climate Change Photos

Kind of makes me wonder.

Meanwhile, ClimateGate II continues, but I’m so sick of that nonsense I’m not even going to link to it. Ok, I’ll only link it generically, but the whole thing is a crap sandwich with more layers than you can stomach. Canada pulling out of Kyoto, Climate Change blamed for the continued desertification of the Sahel, instead of the goat based economy and the slash ‘n burn practices of the natives AND in direct opposition to the pile of reports over the past 20 years saying the area is getting greener, more data fakery from teh rubber thermometer squad, etc. The only real news from that whole darn genre is the two guys who quit their jobs as hurricane predictors because they realized they had been dead wrong every year for ages, and that the much vaunted models simply don’t work.

I’m sure that Climate Chaos™ will soon be blamed for lions, fish, scorpions, barn cats, sea birds, insects, and all other species who eat their young and always have too. Desperate idiots. Take their keyboards away, they’re a danger to the rest of us.

On the other hand, there may actually be some good news hiding in there somewhere regarding the cannibalism bit, and I think Global Werming should take the blame.

Oh Yeah? Says You!

Fed Judge: Bloggers Not Journalists

What a load of crap ... defining the indefinable by demanding it meet the big business old media standards.

A federal judge in Oregon has ruled that a Montana woman sued for defamation was not a journalist when she posted online that an Oregon lawyer acted criminally during a bankruptcy case, a decision with implications for bloggers around the country.

Crystal L. Cox, a blogger from Eureka, Mont., was sued for defamation by attorney Kevin Padrick when she posted online that he was a thug and a thief during the handling of bankruptcy proceedings by him and Obsidian Finance Group LLC.

U.S. District Judge Marco Hernandez found last week that as a blogger, Cox was not a journalist and cannot claim the protections afforded to mainstream reporters and news outlets.

The judge ruled that Cox was not protected by Oregon’s shield law from having to produce sources, saying even though Cox defines herself as media, she was not affiliated with any mainstream outlet. He added that the shield law does not apply to civil actions for defamation.

Hernandez said Cox was not a journalist because she offered no professional qualifications as a journalist or legitimate news outlet. She had no journalism education, credentials or affiliation with a recognized news outlet, proof of adhering to journalistic standards such as editing or checking her facts, evidence she produced an independent product or evidence she ever tried to get both sides of the story.

Cox said she considered herself a journalist, producing more than 400 blogs over the past five years, with a proprietary technique to get her postings on the top of search engines where they get the most notice.

Blow it out your ass, blackrobe. The only thing that defines a journalist is that he or she keeps a journal; some kind of note taking with added writing done on a fairly regular basis. Belonging to Big Media is not part of the definition, nor is having a degree in the subject. Anyone can write, given even the most basic level of teaching that government education provides. Receiving payment for your work is not a factor either.

I think the smarter move would be to take a closer look at the so-called shield laws. IMO, journalists should have no greater protection against libel or hearsay than anyone else, though the contrapositive of that is that we are all journalists as needs be. No rule says that keeping a journal must be a lifetime endeavor; two entries is enough, right? Given the ability of an online video, post, picture, or expression to “go viral”, you can’t argue about dissemination bandwidth being a necessary aspect either: sure, the NYT may sell 3 million papers a day (AS IF), but a hot post can garner 20 million hits in a week or more.
So is a person who puts up 2 Tweets thus a journalist? Why not?

On the third hand, if shield laws extend to everyone, which seems fair to me in our classless equality society, then the libel laws are going to take a one way trip to the outhouse. So what differentiates a journalist from a propagandist? [Nothing if they work for MSNBC or CBS, right?] I can’t say; AFAIK there is no hurdle, no standard, that says what you put out there has to be at least 50.00001% provably true. If there was, the UK’s Guardian would be out of business overnight!

Sure, Old Media, the MSM, would LOVE to have such a ruling stick. It would eliminate the competition that is killing them. Well, it would at least give them a hammer to wield; smart people would still get their news and read opposing opinions on topics online.

[plaintiff] Padrick said the case showed how vulnerable anyone was to someone with a computer. He said he has lost business from potential clients who search his name and firm through Google and find Cox’s postings at the top of the list, adding that he has no way to remove them.

“If anyone can self-proclaim themselves to be media, the concept of media is rendered worthless,” Padrick said. “When everyone is media, the concept of media is gone.”

...

Kyu Ho Youm, a First Amendment expert and journalism professor at the University of Oregon, called the judge’s strict definition of a journalist “outdated” since so-called citizen journalists currently outnumber traditional journalists.

“When we talk about the shield law, we should pay more attention to the function people are doing than whether people are connected to traditional and established news media,” he said.

Hey, how about that? I figured out and wrote about both sides of the issue without even reading that part of the article until afterwards. Gosh, wouldn’t having the conceptual awareness of the underlying issues and the ability to analyze them make me more of a professional journalist?  I think so! wink

I think both Padrick AND Youm are correct together: there is actually no such thing as a journalist any longer, because we all are, or easily can be, journalists. Therefore either there should be no shield laws (a lessening of freedom) or universal shield law (an enlarging of freedom). In general, the only SCOTUS decisions I’m in favor of are the ones that expand the rights of the individual.

On the fourth hand, an apt vector for the fourth estate, perhaps op-eds should have sub sago (under the blanket) protection. It’s an opinion after all, right? And everyone has at least one of those. Would “journalists” have to label such writing with the proper categorical tag to be protected? From a technical perspective, would we have to create and use a new XHTML tag to do such identification it for us, like [op-ed]Obama is a sissy-boy lying Kenyan Communist[/op-ed]? Or could we modern digital journalists get away with assuming that our readers were intelligent enough to be able to tell reporting from opinion? [sarcasm]As if.[/sarcasm]

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
