border control euro style. as usual, brits on short end. needed, churchill/thatcher/marlbougough

Border? What border?  I don’t got to help you protect your stinkin border.

Instead of here we go again this might better be described as here we are still.  At least in the western states border patrol has a good idea of where and who. And, they can stop illegals. Provided they can catch em.  But this defies anything I’ve read on the subject so far.  Aside from all those dumb human rights issues the left loves so much.

Here’s a situation where;

British officials may now have to turn a blind eye to suspected illegal migrants.

OR FACE ARREST.  By foreign cops.

Read how and why.

Eurostar loophole exposed: Illegal immigrants use ticket ruse to sneak into Britain
· Passengers buy a train ticket from Brussels to Lille but can stay on until London without passport checks
· Alarm first raised in 2001 but nothing was done about it
· UKBA’s Jonathan Sedgwick tells MPs it is ‘unsatisfactory’ but insists it is not a loophole
By JACK DOYLE, HOME AFFAIRS CORRESPONDENT

BELGIAN POLICE HAVE THREATENED TO ARREST BRITISH BORDER STAFF WHO STOP ILLEGAL MIGRANTS TAKING EUROSTAR TRAINS TO LONDON.

Dozens of migrants are thought to exploit the so-called ‘Lille Loophole’ every day.

They buy a Eurostar ticket from Brussels to Lille, allowing them to avoid the UK border checks in the Belgian capital.

And when the train stops in Lille they simply stay on board and carry on through the Channel Tunnel to London, where passports are rarely checked.
Internal border agency figures suggest use of the loophole has shot up in recent months.

The Belgian authorities insist Britain cannot interrogate Eurostar passengers with tickets to France because both countries are inside the European Union’s Schengen area of free movement.

UK officials were pulled up when they tried to stop two Iranian men said to ‘bear all the hallmarks of Lille loopholer

THE LILLE LOOPHOLE, HOW IT WORKS

Hiding under a Eurostar train is one way of getting into Britain – as is trying to sneak into the back of a lorry.
But both are dangerous and far from certain to succeed – unlike the ‘Lille loophole’.

Illegal migrants must first buy a ticket – often for as little as £23 –from Brussels in Belgium to Lille in France.

Crucially, this ticket allows them to bypass the British border controls at the Eurostar terminal in Brussels, which are designed for those with tickets to London.

Instead the migrants walk down the passport-free lane for Lille passengers – where only their ticket is checked.

When the train gets to Lille, they stay on board and complete the journey to London.

Some buy a second ticket covering the final leg of their trip so they do not fall foul of ticket inspectors.

Brussels police say stopping passengers with tickets to Lille, even those thought to be headed for London, breaches the Schengen agreement on free movement.

Schengen area of free movement.
Google that. Then imagine the same thing in the USA. Oh boy. I guess in one way we already have something like it. But it isn’t legal. Right?
This is what a borderless Eu means. If they have their way, and there isn’t any mistaking this, the unelected political pygmies that pull the strings, would like nothing better then to do away with individual national identities, along with the borders.  A united states of Europe, the national bank would be the Bundesbank with France and Germany running the whole show.
At least with the Germans things might be well organized and French cooking really is good. I’m not a gourmet so don’t know if German beer can be swilled
with Coq au vin.

immigration,Serbia and multi-culture

H/T islam versus Europe

Where islam spreads ..... freedom dies.

We don’t hear too much from these folks these days. We especially don’t hear a lot and not once did I see or read anything on the subject, while visiting home in the USA recently.

There folks are having a bit of a multi-culture problem. Ah diversity. Does wonders for a people. Ya think?

This country is kinda hampered cos it’s either now in the EU or wants to be.  And since the end of their war which ended well for nobody with the possible exception of muzzies .... they can no longer toss em out or the riff-raff coming in from turd world countries.

over $300,000 and that’s only the beginning

No tellin how long I’ll be at the puter today but wanted to get at least this one in.

On Monday I mentioned a couple of scroungers ripping off the Brit system with the permission (though not happily) of the Brit system.

One of the articles and only a very short comment from me, concerned yet another nig ... whoops.  That’s Nigerian, who came here to give birth and present this country with five more of her kind, along with the all the burden present and future that entails.

I was missing the boat Monday as I mentioned only her last name and for some odd reason only find today, that I didn’t share with you her very funny first name.

It’s the only that is funny about this story.  Anyway ... I now present to you for your consideration, amusement and gasp of disbelief ..... a Nigerian beauty who I call, BIG MA-MOO.

BIMBO AYELABOLA

Nigerian mother who cost NHS £200,000 after coming to Britain to have quintuplets is working illegally as an Avon Lady

(in USA dollars, that’s $319,930.39. Is any Nigerian worth that?)

Bimbo Ayelabola came into the UK on visitor’s visa after discovering she was pregnant

She spent two weeks in hospital at taxpayers’ expense after having quintuplets

By NICK MCDERMOTT

The Nigerian who cost the NHS up to £200,000 after travelling to Britain while expecting quintuplets has been illegally working as an Avon lady.

Bimbo Ayelabola, 33, applied for a six-month visitor’s visa soon after discovering she was pregnant, travelling to the UK without her husband to visit her three sisters.

She gave birth to two boys and three girls in April after a complex Caesarean section and remained in hospital for almost two weeks, paid for by the taxpayer.

But under the terms of her visa, which expired last month, she is unable to work in the UK or claim benefits.

She is now fighting to remain in the country.

The multiple births are likely to be a result of double doses of fertility drug Clomid, which she took for eight times longer than recommended after buying the pills over the counter in her home city of Lagos.

The total bill to the taxpayer for Mrs Ayelabola’s care is expected to reach £200,000.

Foreign nationals should be charged for the full cost of their treatment, but Mrs Ayelabola is not able to pay. The five babies, who were born prematurely at 32 weeks, were treated in a special-care unit, where the cost of a week’s stay for the family would be £35,000 alone.

The case has once again raised the issue of ‘health tourism’, in which foreigners come to take advantage of Britain’s state-funded health system. It is estimated to cost the NHS £200million a year.

Treated: Bimbo Ayelabola, who had quintuplets in Britain, was treated at Homerton Hospital in Hackney, east London

Mrs Ayelabola was treated at Homerton hospital in Hackney, east London.

Andrew Boff, Hackney resident and Conservative member of the Greater London Authority, said: ‘You can’t refuse to give someone treatment once they’re in the country, as we’re talking about human life.

“we’re talking about human life.”

No we damn well are NOT!  Just cos she walks upright?  And btw ... she still has a husband back there in Nigeria. A nice comfy dung hut all ready for her return. Or maybe they actually live in a house of some kind. Or a warm cave. Whatever.  Here’s something to think about.

See if in time it won’t come to this.

Husband will come here on a visitor pass to see his little apelets.  Just a visit.  Uh huh.
And before you can say Little Black Sambo three times, he’ll be in court claiming a right to a family life plus benefits.

england must screw itself rules foreign court

I think we can be reasonably certain that the average working Brit had no intention of screwing him or her self.  Nevertheless, this country has gotten the shaft big time and all in the name of human rights.
They have people here with names as impossible to spell and pronounce as it is to deport them.  This island is over run with illegals, failed amnesty seekers and criminals of every stripe.  Unfortunately for the Brits, it might be somewhat easier to deport say a white criminal or illegal immigrant, then it is to deport those of a darker hue. And even then that isn’t always true, again due to the use of a human rights act, enabled by a court in another country. Generally though, the darkies come from countries where torture might be routine and rights just don’t exist, and so lawyers here (with names few can spell or pronounce) are hard at work making sure the scum can stay.  And that isn’t all.  Since these pitiful pissants have zero funds, there’s an agency that sees to it that ALL their legal fees are paid for.  Interesting concept in the western world.  The people who cause the problems get to screw the people who don’t who get to pay the expenses of the folks who do the screwin.’
Once allowed to remain in this country, with no jobs available to them, no guesses as to who has the burden of supporting them.

The bastards are on to a good thing.
And they know it.
Take a look at this.

Human rights farce: meet the serial criminal who cannot be deported

Abdi Sufi, a serial criminal whose legal appeal has prevented Britain deporting hundreds of undesirable immigrants, is already back on the streets.

By Alastair Jamieson

Abdi Sufi 24, has at least 17 convictions for crimes including burglary, fraud and indecent exposure since he entered the UK illegally eight years ago.
But an attempt by the Home Office to send him back to his homeland of Somalia has been thwarted by judges in Strasbourg, who ruled last week that he would face the risk of inhumane treatment if he was returned. He is now living freely in London.

The ruling in the key test case means that more than 200 further Somalis appealing against deportation, most of them convicted criminals, will be able to remain in Britain.
Critics say the ruling illustrates how human rights legislation is being exploited by lawyers and foreign criminals to make a mockery of British justice.

Sufi’s case was taken to the European Court of Human Rights by the AIRE Centre, a legal advice body which has received funding from the Equality and Human Rights Commission and the European Commission. Because the Home Office lost, both sides’ costs will be paid by British taxpayers.

Judges considered Sufi’s case together with that of another Somali criminal fighting deportation, Abdiaziz Elmi, a 42-year-old heroin addict with multiple convictions for drug-dealing and robbery who lives with his family in Camberley, Surrey.

The court ruled unanimously that sending either man back to his homeland would breach Article 3 of the European Human Rights Convention, which bans “inhuman or degrading treatment”.
The judges rejected the Home Office’s argument that the men could live safely in parts of Somalia. They ruled that the country as a whole was too dangerous to send the men home to.

“The court reiterated that the prohibition of torture and of inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment is absolute,” they said. “Consequently, the applicants’ behaviour, however undesirable, could not be taken into account.”
The judgment described it as the “lead case” against the UK, meaning the outcome will set a precedent for 214 pending cases brought by Somalis attempting to avoid deportation, around two-thirds of them criminals.

Sufi arrived in Britain as a 16 year-old in 2003, having paid a trafficking agent for false identity documents to get on a flight from Somalia via Dubai. He sought asylum, claiming that he belonged to a clan persecuted by militia, but his claim was rejected and a tribunal found his account was “not credible”.

Nevertheless, he was placed in the care of social services until he turned 18. In that year, 2005, he was convicted of burglary and dishonestly obtaining goods by deception, and ordered to spent 18 months in Feltham Young Offenders Institution. He later committed further crimes, including indecent exposure, theft and making threats to kill, culminating in a 2009 sentence of 32 months for five counts of burglary.

Following his latest release from an immigration detention centre, Sufi is back on the streets of west London, drifting between bail hostels and a friend’s flat.
Tracked down by The Sunday Telegraph, he said he was not even aware of the European court’s decision in his case, or its implications.
He apologised for his criminal record and said he wanted to start a new, law-abiding life as a bus driver or security guard.
Speaking through an interpreter, he said: “I have not spoken to the lawyer. They got me out of the detention centre so I am very pleased, but I am not celebrating as I still do not have money to eat.”
“I am seeing a psychiatrist for my nightmares and I do not sleep at night. It makes it difficult for me to be normal.
“I want to contribute to society, not to be costing the country money, but I have been unable to get education and skills here because of my status.
“I am full of shame for having to beg or borrow to live and I do not want to be a burden to anybody.

“I understand why people are angry that I committed crimes, I see their point of view and I am sorry. I did not come to Britain to commit crimes.”
His father, a successful clothing shop owner and farmer, was persecuted by the Hawiye militia because his family were from a minority clan, Shanshi.
“Everything we had was stolen or destroyed, and my family was killed,” he said. “My mother contacted relatives and we scraped together enough money to pay people to get me out of the country to be safe.

“I did not choose Britain, it was just where they took me. Later I heard my mother managed to get to Sweden but she died there.”
The court’s judgment said that while it was possible for well-connected individuals to live safely in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu, anyone else being returned would face serious harm.

Mahdi Aadam, director of the Pan African Relief and Development Organisation, a refugee support charity based in west London, said: “Mogadishu is worse now than ever.”
He said the rise of the country’s al-Shabaab Islamist insurgency had made the country “deadly”, but added: “It is a civil war, not a religious conflict.”
Mr Sufi said his 2007 conviction for indecent exposure followed an argument with a female warder over laundry at the West Drayton immigrant detention centre in west London.

FARCE SOURCE

So then, here since the age of 16 and still needs an interpreter as his ringlesh just am not quite there yet.

illegal immigrants heading for Europe

H/T Jihad Watch

Interesting piece but Mr. Sennels has it wrong with regard to building refugee camps.  Even outside Europe. Why?  How much more are the people who pay the taxes expected to shell out? For how long.  Seems like it could be forever.  Why?  Europe owes these life forms nothing at all.  The problem of mass immigration here as well as that in the states, is that the west in general seems loath to protect itself by any means necessary.  And the necessary in these cases isn’t making life comfortable for the illegals.  The necessary is making them grave yard dead.  That’s a message they can understand and anything short of that will not work. There is another alternative of course.  This one.

Illegal immigration: “We can no longer hold Europe’s southeast flank”
by Nicolai Sennels

The “Arab Spring” has unleashed an unprecedented wave of illegal immigrants heading for Europe. The fall or weakening of several dictators has resulted in loosened security, which allows people to flee the Islamic societies. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims have already entered the EU, and hundreds of thousands more are on their way.

In 2008, 80,000 illegal immigrants entered Greece. The Greek authorities cried out for help, saying that “the country can no longer handle the task of guarding the European Union’s southeast flank.” As a result, immigrant gangs have ravaged the historic center of Athens, “wielding swords, axes and machetes.” A new report published by Reuters tells us that illegal immigration is setting new records, as “Illegal immigration to Europe is now on track to surpass the peak hit in 2008. The IMO says about 42,000 migrants have already crossed into Italy and Malta alone, surpassing the 40,000 total for the two countries in all of 2008.”

The EU’s foremost job is to protect its citizens

The most important task above all others for the EU—now and for the coming years—will be to build and maintain an effective and well-guarded border fence at relevant stretches of the Union’s outer border. At the same time, the EU countries must work together at building and running refugee camps in areas outside Europe. In those cases where illegal immigrants cannot be sent back to their country of origin, they will receive shelter, food and medical care there.

According to the UNHCR, the cost of having one person in a refugee camp somewhere in Africa, for example, is 50 dollars / 33 euros per year. The price for having a refugee in a country like Denmark is 50,000 dollars / 33,000 euros. In other words, for every single refugee who is allowed to stay in Denmark, we can protect and feed one thousand refugees in a camp in an area where they understand the language and feel home in the culture.

Nicolai Sennels is a psychologist and author who writes from Denmark.

europes future unless stopped, and what are the chances of that happening?

H/T To our bmews friend and sometimes councilor:

Lyndon B.

Lyndon sent me something days and days ago and I’m embarrassed that I’ve only just discovered the link he provided. Were I a a serious drinking man I’d bame it on that. But no.  The reason must be that I’m blind. Jeesh.

Sorry Lyndon and THANKS again.

I think this is my only post today cos I have to be away, and not too certain when we’re returning. Day out with wife and elderly auntie.

Anyway, I booted to check mail with no intention of posting anything. Have a few things to do before leaving in another hour, but found Lyndon’s very good link which brought me to this link, which you’d think I’d have been aware of since we do get the paper. Not only that, I’m on their site every day. So how’d I miss this?

Some days ago I mentioned immigrant and asylum seekers over running an Italian island.

Click the photo and that is my post for the day and take a look at what new horror Europe and ESPECIALLY the UK face.

how it feels to be a foreigner in your own country

The sorry state of the nation.  There’s more at the link. I hope you’ll read it all. Hope this isn’t happening in the USA as well.

this is Britain’s brave new world. By surrendering the control of our borders, we have become the policed instead.

I’m British born and bred. So why do I now have to keep proving it?

By Eileen Fairweather

Last week I had a strange experience - I was treated as a foreigner in my own country.

I was ordered to submit my passport to an organisation I believe has no ethical right to police my identity. Yet I learned that it does have the right, thanks to a Labour initiative spinelessly reinforced by the Coalition.

So far it has escaped publicity but it represents a sea change in British identity and rights - or lack of them. Supposedly we must now counter racism by treating every Briton as an alien and potential fraudster until proven otherwise.

Late last year I was invited to a university conference about the media. I submitted an invoice for travel expenses and the agreed modest fee. When no payment arrived, I was told I had failed to submit adequate documentation to prove my right to work in the UK. In short, I had to hand over my passport or whistle for my money.

When I called the university’s human resources department, staff confirmed that monitoring UK work rights was now routine practice. But surely the university lawyers who had invited me could vouch that they’d heard me speak as fluently as a native?

I am clearly not a Latvian people-trafficker or a Colombian drug baron. I have a national profile as a journalist and just wanted back my £78 train fare.

But common sense be damned. The university insisted I must fill in the forms sent to me - including one on ethnic monitoring - and staff would scan my passport. If I had no passport, I was told to submit my birth certificate.

When I dared to query the demands, a jobsworth said: ‘This is what every employer should be doing now.’

I don’t just object because this is a massive waste of my time and a rude way to treat a guest speaker. Nor do I object solely on civil liberty grounds or because I increase the risk of my identity being stolen every time I share these precious documents. I am angry because I am British born and bred.

Having lived abroad myself, I know being an outsider is not easy. But I don’t believe the solution is to treat an entire native population as aliens, or that this stands a chance of improving race relations, as the UK Border Agency apparently believes.

No one at the university would explain what new diktat they were following or why, so I decided to investigate. Surely it couldn’t be because the open borders lobby don’t want any foreigners to feel unwelcome? As bizarre as it sounds, this is exactly the explanation.

‘The Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 requires that employers take steps to ensure the people they employ have right to work in UK,’ said Demetrious Panton, an employment discrimination adviser.

‘Home Office guidance on the avoidance of unlawful discrimination advises employers not to restrict checks on illegal working to particular ethnic or racial groups. If they did so they could fall foul of discrimination law and unlimited exposure to compensation claims. In short, you as an Englishwoman have to show you are entitled to work in your own country.’

Millions of self-employed Britons could be particularly badly affected. Some can invoice hundreds of different employers each year. Will they be expected to submit their passports every time?

As for bosses, Mr Panton said that if they fail to conduct the necessary checks and knowingly employ someone who doesn’t have the legal right to work in the UK, they can be fined up to £10,000 and be jailed for up to two years.

Somali woman lied to claim asylum and £250,000 in benefit, described Britain as easy money.

I am not going to spend a lot of time, in fact very little, ranting on about this worthless unwashed looking bag of filth.

Just another example of the burden we all know about except in this case ... the burden is being accepted willingly without a fight.
I want you folks to see how easy it was for someone to screw the state, and then find protection by that same state, who refuses to protect itself from the likes of her.

They say they can’t deport her cos she’s a Brit citizen.  The damn fools. She became one giving false information.  She screwed you, she lied to you to get what she wanted. Revoke her damn citizenship idiots.  She doesn’t deserve to have it.

btw .. as you will read, she screwed the Swedes also.

Oh hell. Never mind.  The descendants of and those still alive paying taxes who fought for this country will pay the bill. No problem.

‘The land of easy money’: How the Somali woman who lied to claim asylum and £250,000 in benefit handouts described Britain

By Tamara Cohen and Tom Kelly
Last updated at 5:20 PM on 15th January 2011

image

A woman who lied about being gang raped in Somalia to claim more than £250,000 in benefits had moved to Britain after boasting it was the ‘land of easy money’.

Ayan Abdulle was jailed this week after investigators discovered that the story she used to win asylum – and later UK citizenship – was a pack of lies.

Now the Daily Mail can reveal the full scale of her fraud and how easily she was able to milk the benefits system for years.

Abdulle, who also used the fake name Amina Muse and is from Somalia, was living in Gothenburg when the authorities insisted immigrants learn Swedish if they wanted to continue to claim handouts.

She told a friend she couldn’t be bothered and moved to England where she knew it would be far easier to collect benefits.

She made up a story to gain asylum and gave herself and five of her six children false names and dates of birth, fraudulently claiming benefits on both the real and invented identities.

And she somehow managed to continue claiming benefits in Sweden for three years after leaving.

Abdulle was born in Mogadishu in 1969 but moved to Sweden in 1994.

Her friend Hodan Abdullahi Egal, who lives in Gothenburg, said yesterday: ‘Ayan liked life here. She never worked, just took things easy and spent her time meeting up with old friends from Mogadishu.

‘But she couldn’t be bothered to learn another language. Instead she decided to move to England.

She said it was the land of easy money. She was convinced she would have no problems there because the system there made it far easier to collect money without proper checks.’

Abdulle arrived in London in 2004 with her first five children, now aged eight to 17, and her husband Raghe Adan, and claimed asylum under the name Amina Ali Muse.

In her application, she said militiamen had targeted her home in Somalia on December 1, 1998, shooting her brothers dead.

She claimed she had been gang raped while three months pregnant, leading to a miscarriage, and that her niece had been raped, tortured and beaten.

In fact, on that date Abdulle had been in Sweden giving birth to a daughter.

Between June 2004 and May 2010, Abdulle, who was living in Neasden, North-West London, claimed £261,358.14 in handouts.

The cash came from almost every welfare benefit possible, including income support, disability living allowance, carers’ allowance, jobseekers’ allowance, housing benefit, council tax benefit, tax credits and child benefit.

Friends and neighbours in London and Sweden said the only man who ever visited her flat was husband Adan. But in Sweden she registered herself as having married a 41-year-old named Hassan Mohamed Osman in 2007.

And the father of her sixth child, born in 2009, was given as Abdirashid Mohamed Omar, a Somali who arrived in Britain from Kenya in 2006 claiming to be the husband of Amina Muse. He was granted indefinite leave to remain as her spouse.

Abdulle was exposed when she fell out with some members of her family who revealed her fraud to the authorities.

A former friend in London said: ‘She was very secretive. I never saw her with a husband in six years. She changed her mobile phone number every day, you could not contact her.

‘She went back and forth to Gothenburg a lot and she once went to Africa, but via Sweden even though it was more expensive.’

Jailing her for four-and-a-half years at Harrow Crown Court for multiple counts of fraud and deception, Judge Stephen Holt described her actions as a professionally planned ‘cynical and dishonest manipulation of the whole system of asylum’.

Abdulle, who showed no remorse, cannot be deported after finishing her sentence because she was granted British citizenship in 2009.

Greece Downsizes Plans for Anti-Immigration Wall ….

I started to do this yesterday but got sidetracked.
Poor Greece. As if they haven’t enough self made financial grief, they’ve discovered they have a serious immigration problem.  Mostly illegal immigration.
So a week or two ago they said enough, they were going to crack down BUT ... apparently they have had to do a slight u-turn.

Meanwhile, Romania is really PO’d at France and Germany, and that govt. is threating to open the borders to illegals to flood the numbers that will eventually end up in Germany,France and most likely the UK as well. And Italy too.  Yeah. You read it correctly. They threaten to allow illegals because France and Germany are resisting the open border idea for Romania and Bulgaria, siting as their reason, the inability of both those countries to control crime and control the kind of people who are trying to come to the west.  Well, bravo France and Germany but unless some kind of agreement can be reached, there will be a flood of muslims, from Iran,Iraq, Afghanistan etc. As well as ... wanna guess?  Yup. Roma Gypsies.

Western Europe is seeing an increase (if we believe the media and the govts. reporting) of a large number of criminal class and just shiftless people doing their best to come to the welfare states. The UK I believe being the most generous.  But it’s France and Germany (and now Greece) saying enough already. We need to stop the madness.  They do not think those open EU borders are so nifty at this moment, at least not the ones involving Romania and Bulgaria. Woo-Hoo.

But Greece has another problem and it’s with Turkey. Oh boy. When do the fire works start?

Be interesting to see how this recipe for self defense plays out over the next few months.

Here’s a taste ...

Greece Downsizes Plans for Anti-Immigration Wall along Turkey Border

There are indications that instead of building a 206-km wall against illegal immigration along its land border with Turkey, Greece will construct a limited fence in one border section.

After in the last days of 2011, Greece’s Citizens Protection Minister Christos Papoutsis stated that the Greek government is considering fencing off its territory along its Turkish border to beat back the influx of illegal immigrants into the EU, on Monday new plan released by the Ministry, cited by DPA, indicated a project for building a 12.5-km-long and 3-m-high fence along the most problematic section of the Greece-Turkey border near the Maritsa river and the Greek town of Orestiada.

The Greek government seems to be backing away from its original plan, which Papoutsis described as similar to the anti-immigrant wall that the USA built along its border with Mexico, as international media and NGOs have slammed the idea over New Year’s weekend.

The only comments on part of the EU executive so far, the European Commission, have come from Michele Cercone, spokesman person for Justice and Home Affairs Commissioner Cecilia Malstroem.

“Fences and walls have, in the past, proven to be really short-term measures that don’t help to address and manage migratory challenges in a more consolidated and structural way… [Greece] needs sound and long-term structural reforms and measures in order to better manage its border, address the challenges linked to migration flows and create a sound and efficient asylum system,” he said.

Cercone has pointed out that border control and the influx of illegal immigrants depend on the dialogue with the source and transit countries. He said the EC is negotiating with Turkey on the readmission of illegal migrants that entered the EU through its territory – even though an actual agreement is still not on the horizon.

In the period of just six months up till the end of November, 33 000 illegal immigrants have been detected crossing the Greek-Turkish land border. Most are from Afghanistan, Algeria, Pakistan, Somalia and Iraq.

Officials said over the weekend that, in 2010, an average of ‘200 refugees each day’ had crossed into Greece from Turkey.

Around 80 per of the illegal immigrants in the EU arrive via Greece. Large numbers then seek to reach Italy via ferry. There are currently an estimated 300,000 people living illegally in Greece.

Greece’s facilities for the detention of illegal migrants have been the matter of criticism by international human rights NGOs.

GREECE

I know that some of you folks are better at this then I am. So tell me. Have I read it wrong?  Greece has to defend itself on a decision aimed at defending their own borders?  Is that it in a nutshell?

Bad DREAMs

Version 5 of the DREAM act is up for a vote in the legislature today. It’s not too late to make a phone call and send an email to voice your opinion.

Michelle Malkin is all over this, so go to her blog and read.

UPDATED CRITICAL IMMIGRATION ALERT

DEMOCRAT LEADERS PLAN VOTE ON FIFTH VERSION OF FLAWED DREAM ACT

PROPOSAL CONTAINS A SAFE HARBOR FOR CRIMINALS, ELIGIBILITY FOR REPEAT OFFENDERS, AND IS SUBJECT TO MASSIVE FRAUD. IT DOES NOT REQUIRE ILLEGAL ALIENS TO GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL, FINISH COLLEGE, OR JOIN THE MILITARY AS A CONDITION OF AMNESTY.

Senator Reid has filed cloture of the House-passed version of the DREAM Act, setting up a vote this Saturday as the lame-duck session continues. Stunningly, it is fifth version introduced in the Senate in just over 2 months. Not one of the versions has received committee process. In fact, the House bill was introduced just one day prior to passage. Further, Senator Reid filled the tree, and won’t allow any amendments to the bill.

Though the DREAM Act would grant mass amnesty, the lack of hearings and committee process means the public and the Senate have not had time to analyze the proposal. The Congressional Budget Office says that the DREAM Act is expected to add more than $5 billion to the federal deficit—a figure that will grow given that the CBO fails to take into account a multitude of factors, such as the resulting litigation, fraud, and chain migration.

In addition to immediately placing an estimated 1–2 million illegal aliens on a path to citizenship (a number expected to grow since the bill has neither a cap nor a sunset), the DREAM Act will give them access to federal student loans and federal work-study programs. The bill allows illegal aliens to get legal status indefinitely by simply claiming they have a high school diploma or GED, and even opens eligibility to those with multiple criminal convictions.

This is bad news. Really bad news.

If you don’t know who or where to call, you can get the numbers HERE. This bill is in the SENATE, so your state’s TWO Senators are the folks you want to contact. If that link is overwhelmed, you can GOOGLE up your Senator’s contact info: “[your state] senators contact information” works great. They all have homepages with phone numbers and email addresses.

This is a dirty bill, a venomous last minute lame duck bit of nasty from Harry Reid. Get it defeated ASAP.

update on yestyerday’s update … illegal scum allowed to stay

I recently did a ranting post on justice or lack thereof, in regard to a couple of cases here in the UK.

I can’t let go of this story. It bothers me that much.

And just for the official record.
I would hate this miserable and worthless pile of useless shit if he were a WASP.  The crime isn’t worse because he belongs to a protected minority, it’s sadder and it’s worse because it did not have to end with the painful, lingering death of a 12 year old girl.
The more I see this kind of thing, the more convinced I am that nothing short of a police force with the powers of a Gestapo will bring relief and order and an end to this sort of madness.

There needs to be wholesale slaughter of the left.  Examples made publicly to reinforce the idea that criminality will not be tolerated, nobody will be called Mister in jail, the reinstatement of the death penalty with NO appeal in cases like this one.  Lawyers wanting to defend scum like this shot dead.  The closing of borders to more immigration except for highly skilled.  Current prisoners being held for violent crimes to be eliminated.
An END to political asylum.  ALL illegals deported or shot. Choice is theirs and only five minutes to decide.  Churchmen who think hiding illegals a good thing, eliminated.  It’s a start.  But of course we all know full well it won’t happen. Well, maybe if some libtard judges and politicians become victims, but what needs to be done will not be done and so look for more stories like this very sad and depressing case.

I was and like many others here, am still angered and outraged that an originally illegal immigrant with a long criminal record, has been given the freedom to settle in this country.  As bad, he killed that little girl and received only four months in jail. Four months for a man who wiped out the future of a little kid.

He was not even supposed to be driving in the first place, having already been in trouble for unlicensed driving, driving minus ins. and other offenses.
But the miserable muslim bastard took no notice of course because no doubt western infidel laws don’t apply to him.

Well anyway, as already reported his human (?) rights have to be protected and so he won’t be deported. I can not help but wonder if he’s now on benefits.

After leaving jail he was right back to his old tricks again. And why not?  He’s beaten the system thus far, and the system has been found to have no teeth.

Here’s a partial update to my update and the rest is at the link as always. My blood still boils over this case. Read the Prime Minister’s letter at the link as well. It won’t make anyone feel any better. The gremlins really do have the upper hand, and as Pat Condell points out with regularity, these bastards are on a roll.
Take a look at this.

It actually starts in 2001 when the slimy muslim filth snuck into this country as an illegal.

image

2002:  Caution for criminal damage.

Jan. 2003:  Fined for driving without insurance, license or vehicle registration.

June 2003: Six month ban for the same offenses.

Oct. 2003:  Banned for further nine months for driving without ins. license, and bad tire tread.

Nov. 2003: Driving while banned, he kills girl. He is sentenced to four months in prison.

2004:  Convicted of possession of cannabis.

2005:  Caution for burglary and theft.

2006:  Convicted of driving while disqualified and without insurance. Given two year supervision order, banned from driving for three years and given a curfew.

2009:  Convicted of harassment.

On the Razor’s Edge Once Again, Sliding Down

Congress Passes DREAM Act shamnesty bill, 216 to 198.

Voting in favor of blanket amnesty and support for illegal aliens were 8 Republicans:

1 Cao (Louisiana)
2 Castle (Delaware)
3 Diaz-Balart L (Florida)
4 Diaz-Balart M (Florida)
5 Djou (Hawaii)
6 Ehlers (Michigan)
7 Inglis (South Carolina)
8 Ros-Lehtinen (Florida)

Do not forget these names. [redacted reference to lamp posts and piano wire]

The House of Representatives approved a bill that would grant thousands of young, illegal immigrants the chance to become American citizens Wednesday night.

Called the DREAM Act, the proposal would permit young people brought illegally into the U.S. by their parents the opportunity for citizenship. However, that’s contingent on them completing two years of college or military service.

The vote was 216 to 198.

The White House lobbied hard for the bill’s passage, lauding it as a step towards a comprehensive reform of the nation’s immigration laws.

Supporters say the measure would strengthen the U.S. economy and boost military readiness.

Critics contend that the legislation offers what they call “amnesty” for illegal immigrants.

The Senate plans a vote Thursday to try to summon the DREAM Act to the Senate floor. It is expected to fail.

Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), one of the main backers of the DREAM Act, believes this is the last chance he has to pull this legislation across the finish line.

“Once the Congress of the United States changes hands and the House of Representatives is in the hands of the Republican Party, I don’t see any movement on comprehensive immigration reform,” Gutierrez said.

Not expected to pass in the Senate? Yeah, well I had heard it wasn’t going to pass in the House so badly that it wouldn’t even come to a vote. That was 2 days ago. And now it has, and it did.

And it’s just so damn un-PC to be against this, this Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act - (say it with me!!) - It’s for the chiiiiildren!!!!!

I dont’ give a shit. [redacted vulgar hissy fit and call for public violence against the government] No school, no health care. Want relief? Here’s a gallon of water and a rice cake. Now leave. Throw them out, and throw their parents out. [redacted call for public violence] This is war and I say No Quarter. This is not the nation of FREE STUFF FOR THE WHOLE WORLD FOREVER. Well, it shouldn’t be. We have had legalized, quota driven immigration for every nation on earth for well over 100 years now. We are NOT the bottomless money bag that the entire fucking planet is invited to come by and dig into. ENOUGH. We can not afford it, period. And if these people are working, that’s 20 million jobs they are doing that unemployed Americans aren’t getting. Throw them out!!

Don’t even make me start on the violent gang angle. Got a spiderweb facial tattoo, or a couple of gang tears? [redacted call for public violence].

Insane reaction Drew? No, I don’t think so. We have been invaded in slow motion, to the point where 10 percent of the entire population is made up of people who should not be in this land. It is not too late [redacted call for public violence] ethnic cleansing. WTF, it’s Ok for anywhere else in the world to do that from time to time, so why not us?

I want to make a graphic of a finger on a trigger ... “press one for [redacted ethnic group]” ... and post it everywhere.

If this passes in the Senate and O[redacted racist term]er signs it, America is done. Hell, we’re only half a step away as it is. And that half step is already over the edge. We need to make a BIG jump just right to get back to straddling the razor’s edge.

those darned americans and their border fence. hang on a minute. no. it’s the mexicans?

H/T RichK

Huh?  The Mexicans are building their own fence somewhere else?

I may have to keep my eye on this site (Examiner.com). My thanks to RichK for the email heads up.

Interesting article.  Is it for real?  There’s not much in msm back home? Seems odd.  You’d think they would be all over this like a blanket.
Take a look.

Hypocritical Mexico is now building their own wall on border with Guatemala...press ignores

Where is MSNBC?

The Inter-Press Sevice (IPS) is reporting that the head administrator of the Mexican Superintendency of Tax Administration, Raul Diaz, has confirmed that his government is building a wall in the state of Chiapas, along the Mexican/Guatemalan border.

The official reason is to stop contraband from coming into Mexico, but as Diaz admitted: “It could also prevent the free passage of illegal immigrants.”

According to Mexico’s National Commission on Human Rights, 500,000 people from Central America cross into Mexico illegally every year.

Just as Mexican authorities have opposed the construction of a fence by the U.S., along our border with their country, Mexico is now receiving a great deal of criticism from the Guatemalan government.

The executive coordinator of the National Bureau for Migration in Guatemala, Marila de Prince, told a local newspaper: “It is not a correct measure being taken by the Mexican government.”

Erick Maldonado, executive secretary of Guatemala’s National Council on Migrants said: “We are watching the Mexican government’s initiative with concern because the migrants are in a situation of highest vulnerability, as demonstrated by the massacre in Tamaulipas, where five Guatemalans died.”

Maldonado said the wall “is going to make the migrants’ situation worse, because to meet their needs they are always going to find blind points where there are no migration or security controls, which implies greater risks.”

Vice-President of Guatemala, Rafael Espada, said: “The walls are not the solution to the problems.”

The Catholic Church has been highly critical of U.S. treatment of illegal aliens, and one priest in Central America used the news of the Mexican wall to take another shot at the American people.

Father Francisco Pellizari, of the Casa del Migrante told IPS: “The dramatic increase in the cost of ‘polleros’ (human traffickers) and the corruption of the authorities is the result of the walls the United States plans to build and has built along the border. We can transpose the Guatemala case to this situation and the results will be the same.”

Peliizari said border walls “are supposedly intended to halt migration, but that hasn’t happened. Instead they have triggered an economic hemorrhage and a shift in the migratory flow to inhospitable routes that lead to thousands of deaths.”

Of course, the U.S. press has completely ignored the story…They excoriate Americans for their desire to simply defend their own borders, but give Mexico a pass for building a wall to keep out illegal aliens.

SOURCE

Hey there Mr. Pellizari .... up yours.  Our country, our borders, our freekin business.  We’ll keep an eye on our borders and you can keep an eye on ..... you know. I have an idea, why don’t you and your church personally take ALL those poor and tired and needy and include please the druggies, and you house em all at your expense in your house.  Permanently.  HEY ... you gotta take the girls too. Wait ... where ya goin? Come back and talk.
Fruit loop.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. 2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
