Enough To Make Your Blood Boil

Thanks to Red Five we now have a site to go pummel and hopefully destroy.

This site WILL make you angry.  Take medication prior to going there or you may raise your blood pressure to dangerous levels.

What Did You Do Today For Freedom?

Kim duToit runs a semi-regular feature on his site called “The Walter/Adam Fund” drive wherein he collects money from folks and uses the revenue to buy stuff for a couple of snipers over in Iraq.  He’s gotten them scopes, mounts, snacks, etc.

One of those snipers no longer makes up the team---Adam Plumondore.  He died last week and we covered it here and here.

Go visit Kim’s site and do the right thing. Give.  Please.

What better way to honor his memory?

Making A Difference

Some of our guys in Iraq are trying to make a difference for the locals.

One way they are doing so is with a drive to get shoes for kids.

Lance, a soldier with the 278th , ran this on his blog.

Go visit the Hands and Feet site, too.

The effort also got mention in Neal Boortz’s site. It’s the 5th item.

Euro-peons In The News

The arrogance of these fuckers is incredible!!!

I’d like to think we would never allow this to happen in our country or that if it did we would take steps to prevent it or stop it.

But I guess Belgians think they are above that (and for it now are on my shit-list along with the French and Germans.) Sorry pieces of shit.

Why I am I all exercised?

Ministry offices in Belgium have stickers of President Bush in them with text that says, “piss on me”

The were designed by the head of the young socialists, Laurent Winnock, and:

The piss stickers, specially made to be used in urinals, can be seen these days in the public toilets of Belgian schools, youth clubs, and pubs.

Oh, and it gets better.

You think this scumbag did this on his own?  Nope.

Winnock did his creative work during his office hours, which would not be worth mentioning if Winnock did not work in the offices of Vice Prime Minister Vande Lanotte, as one of his press spokesmen.

YEP!!!!!! He works for the Vice Prime Minister.  She knew what he was up to.

Even their minister of Justice got in the act when:

“she let go during prime time on Sunday evening, as Air Force One was about to land in Brussels. “I would rather have had John Kerry visiting us,” she said on television. When the interviewer asked whether it was not undiplomatic to say so, she answered: “No. That is how I feel about it.”

What a bunch of asshats!  May their economies crumble, may their currency plummet, may their unemployment skyrocket, may their industrial infrastructure crumble, may their people starve.

And when they ask for help, we can send them toilet paper printed with images of starving Belgians that they can use to wipe their asses on.

Go back and click on the link to get background on the author.

Coming To Your Email Box Soon

DEAR SIR,

URGENT AND CONFIDENTIAL BUSINESS PROPOSAL

I AM ACHMED MUHAMMED ALWADI, STEP-SON OF THE LATE IMPRISONED IRAQI HEAD OF STATE, SADDAM HUSSEIN. AFTER HE WAS CAPTURED, I WAS INFORMED BY OUR LAWYER, DEWY CHEATHAM THAT, MY STEP-FATHER WHO AT THAT TIME WAS THE PRESIDENT OF IRAQ, CALLED HIM AND CONDUCTED HIM ROUND HIS APARTMENT AND SHOWED HIM FOUR METAL BOXES CONTAINING MONEY ALL IN FOREIGN EXCHANGE AND HE EQUALLY MADE HIM BELIEVE THAT THOSE BOXES ARE FOR ONWARD TRANSFER TO HIS OVERSEAS COUNTERPART FOR PERSONAL INVESTMENT.

ALONG THE LINE, MY STEP-FATHER WAS CAUGHT BY THOSE IMPERIALIST WAR-MONGERING AMERICANS AND SINCE THEN THE IRAQI GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN AFTER US, MOLESTING, POLICING AND FREEZING OUR BANK ACCOUNTS AND EVEN MY OWN WIFE RIGHT NOW IS IN DETENTION. MY FAMILY ACCOUNT IN SWITZERLAND WORTH DM 1,750,000,000.00 AND 500,000,000.00 FRENCH FRANCS HAS BEEN CONFISCATED BY THE GOVERNMENT. THE GOVERNMENT IS INTERROGATING MY SON MOHAMMED ABOUT OUR ASSET AND SOME VITAL DOCUMENTS. IT WAS IN THE COURSE OF THESE, AFTER WE GAVE SADDAM UP FOR DEAD IN THAT HELLISH PRISON THOSE YANKEE BASTARDS HAVE HIM IN, THAT OUR LAWYER SAW YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS FROM THE PUBLICATION OF A BUSINESS PROMOTION AGENCY. THIS IS WHY I AM USING THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SOLICIT FOR YOUR CO-OPERATION AND ASSISTANCE TO HELP ME AS A VERY SINCERE RESPONSIBLE PERSON. I HAVE ALL THE TRUST IN YOU AND I KNOW THAT YOU WILL NOT SIT ON THIS MONEY.

I HAVE SUCCEEDED IN CARRYING THE FOUR METAL BOXES OUT OF THE COUNTRY, WITH THE AID OF SOME TOP GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL, WHO STILL SHOW SYMPATHY TO MY FAMILY, TO A NEIGHBOURING COUNTRY (SYRIA) TO BE PRECISE. I PRAY YOU WOULD HELP US IN GETTING THIS MONEY TRANSFERRED OVER TO YOUR COUNTRY. EACH OF THESE METAL BOXES CONTAINS, FF125,000,000.00 (ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE MILLION FRENCH FRANCS ONLY) AND TOGETHER THESE FOUR BOXES CONTAIN FF 500,000,000.00(FIVE HUNDRED MILLION FRENCH FRANCS). THIS IS ACTUALLY WHAT WE HAVE MOVED TO SYRIA.

THEREFORE, I NEED AN URGENT HELP FROM YOU AS A MAN OF GOD TO HELP GET THIS MONEY IN SYRIA TO YOUR COUNTRY. THIS MONEY, AFTER GETTING TO YOUR COUNTRY, WOULD BE SHARED ACCORDING TO THE PERCENTAGE AGREED BY BOTH OF US.PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MATTER IS STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL AS THE GOVERNMENT WHICH MY STEP FATHER WAS PART OF IS STILL UNDER SURVAILLANCE TO PROBE US.

YOU CAN CONTACT ME THROUGH MY FAMILY LAWYER AS INDICATED ABOVE AND ALSO TO LIAISE WITH HIM TOWARDS THE EFFECTIVE COMPLETION OF THIS TRANSACTION ON TEL/FAX N0:421-8-3657869 AS HE HAS THE MANDATE OF THE FAMILY TO HANDLE THIS TRANSACTION.

THANKS AND BEST REGARD

ACHMED MUHAMMED ALWADI

Yep!  It’s starting!!

Homosexuals In The News

It’s bad enough we had to deal with that asshole who secretly record the President’s conversations and then felt so bad about doing so that he “leaked “ them to the NY Times (a special place in hell is reserved for these assholes, I am certain.)

But apparently now the homosexual brigades want to out all the homosexuals in President Bush’s administration and in the Republican party.

According to the article:

“Outing" of reputedly closeted homosexuals, particularly those associated with the Republican Party or conservative politics, has become a favorite pastime of homosexual activists”

A favorite pastime?  Let’s not forget passing the new AIDS virus around.  That seems to have become quite a pastime, too.  With luck these shit-stains will screw themselves out of existence soon.

Investment Talk

Yesterday the market took one in the shorts, the biggest one-day drop in almost 2 years.

Why?

Some say it was because of oil prices which surged above $51.  Others say it was because consumer confidence dropped.

I think it had a lot to do with the sagging dollar, our low interest rates, and the fact that yesterday I read some countries’ banks are dropping dollar denominated investments and going to other currencies---further weakening our dollar.

Well, today South Korea and Japan both sent signals to the market they will continue to support the dollar.  That’s OK for the short term but I think there is an international movement to drop the dollar and move to the Euro or possibly even the yuan.

We better pay close attention to these issues or things will get ugly for our economy.

A low dollar is good---for a while---because it means our products are cheaper overseas and travel to the US is cheaper.  But if it lasts too long then our manufacturing and service sectors take a big hit because the raw material (or finished material) will cost them more money since foreign currencies are stronger against our dollar.  We willnot travel as much overseas affecting airlines, agents, and their inter-related industries. Over a period of time it creates upward pressures on prices of goods and services, driving up consumer costs and spiking inflation.

Of course, the cycle plays itself out over time because having higher interest rates is also a good thing----investors start dropping their marks, pounds, yen, and pesetas for our government bonds.  This starts the pendulum swinging the other way.  The only problem is it takes a couple of years to get going and by then our stock market could be in the toilet, our unemployment rates scoots way up, etc.

If you stand back and watch it, macro-economics is actually pretty exciting.

The EU And The UN

Has anyone given much thought to how the EU will be considered as a voting body in the UN after all those little socialist bastards sign up to their new constitution?

Does anyone know what the new constitution says about this?

I ask because if they are, in fact, a UNION, then from now on whenever a vote is taken in the UN they will automatically have 25 votes as a bloc--something they did not always have.

If they are all going to organize under one banner for commerce, trade, business, self-interests, protection, etc. they are, in fact, one country.  And should have one vote, not 25.

Thoughts?

What Kind Of Friends Are The French?

Worthless.  I don’t trust them as far as I could throw them.  They are conniving bastards interested in only in their own welfare.

Witness the formal state dinner last night wherein Jacques-Off Chirac spoke in French when he could have spoken English.  It’s a sign of courtesy to your honored guest to speak their language just as Bush would have spoken Spanish if the King of Spain came to visit the US.

That is considered a slap in the face and I am sure the President’s protocol experts will not let him forget it in future talks.

The protocol basically is this:  if you speak more than your native language and have a guest from the country of that other language, you speak it.  If you speak only one language, you make an effort to learn/memorize a couple of sentences as an introduction and then revert to your native language.

I hate the fucking French

Hump Day Humor: The Sultan’s son

Once upon a time, a Sultan was blessed with the birth of a son after years of hoping. The boy immediately became the apple of his father’s eye.

Just before his son’s sixth birthday, the Sultan said to him, “Son, I love you very much. Your birthday is coming soon. What would you like?”

His son replied, “Daddy, I would like to have my own airplane.”

His father bought him American Airlines.

Just before his son’s seventh birthday, the Sultan said, “Son, you are my pride and joy. Ask what you want for your birthday. Whatever it is, it’s yours.”

His son replied, “Daddy, I would like a boat.” His father bought him the Princess Cruise Line.

Just before his son’s eighth birthday, the Sultan said, “Son, you bring so much happiness into my life. Anything you want, I shall get for you.”

His son replied, “Daddy, I would like to be able to watch cartoons.”

His father bought him Disney Studios.

Just before his son’s ninth birthday, the Sultan said, “Son, you are my life. Your birthday is coming soon. Ask what you wish. I will get it for you.”

His son, who had grown to love Disney, replied, “Daddy, I would like a Mickey Mouse outfit and a Goofy outfit.”

His father bought him the Democratic Party and CBS news.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
