On A Serious Note

Here are three posts on one of my favorite topics---education.

We start with a something many teachers probably have felt like doing.  After all, they say that teaching is a shitty job, right?  Well, they were not kidding.

If you ever held out any hope that universities might be leaning jusat a bit to the right, allow me to dispel those pipe dreams.

Check out the HUGE imbalance between university professors donating to the Dems as opposed to those donating to the Republicans.

Of course, it does not help me temper my feelings that universoity professors are elitist snobs when I read this:

“Does it surprise me that smart people should be supporting Kerry?” Appel (a science prodessor) said. “No.”

Black community “leaders” and many democratic senators and congressmen will not allow Washington D.C. schools to use vouchers so that poor Black kids can get a shot at a better education.  Every time it comes up for a vote, the NEA speaks up and exerts pressure on these shitbags posing as “defenders of the poor, minorities, and underprivileged.”

That’s a fact.  Take it to the bank.

Want to know another fact? Twenty five percent of public school teachers in D.C. and Baltimore send their kids to private schools.

Must be a link somewhere. Ya’ think?!?!?!?!

What Passes For Education

Professor Mike Adams discusses what is so wrong at Wesleyan University. The language might offend some so let me preview what you’ll find:  Wesleyan touts itself as a place where a person can get a fine education.  But if you peruse their website you’ll see things like C**T Clubs where women sit around saying the word over and over to “empower” themselves, I guess!  That word seems to be OK with campus officials but when students tried to form a KYKE Club, they were told they couldn’t.

It’s a great read if for nothing else than to point out the lunacy happening on campuses (and to sample Professor Adam’s prolific use of puns.)

The absurdity of what is now called “the education system”

I've used the following line before but need to do so again. They say repetition is a good thing. The Dummycraps use it a lot to spread their lies. Maybe I can use it to spread some truth.

I get some damned sick and tired of listening to the screechings of leftist twits in this country, so high up on their high horses of righteous indignation, telling me that as a Conservative I am insensitive, uncaring, biased, trash the environment, kill babies, enslave women, take food from senior citizens, am a capitalist pig, and stifle others' rights.

Yet none of these fucktards are capable of seeing through the fog of their own hypocrisy.

More examples today from our famed educational system.

From Professor Mike Adams who ABSOLUTELY SKEWERS another professor at Rutgers. You HAVE to read this. Please. It's especially delicious when Mike grabs these hypocrites by the throat and using their own words, rubs their nose in it like you'd rub a puppy's nose in something it should not have done. I smile just thinking about it. Excuse me while I go re-read it. OBTW, I wrote the good professor an email, too.

The next one is really incredible. A professor is up on charges at a university for "allowing" three women to get in a discussion where one woman felt offended (there's that "f" word again, feelings) and complained.

Funny how the college has a policy of "free speech" yet it is now prosecuting one of its own for allowing it.

Hmmmm, what's that smell? Could it be the foul odor of hypocrisy?

Lastly, we have a story about a leftist college professor who wrote the words "FUCK GOD" on his blackboard after having ridiculed one of his students for being Christian and a Republican.

The college is insisting the professor apologize. You know that's got to have the liberals with their panties in a really tight wad now that the shoe is on the other foot. (geez, am I getting metaphor happy or what?) You know they don't like the sensation of having their version of "academic freedom" shoved down their throats.

P.S. I recommend you all take a look at this site: ratemyprofessor.com

Pass the link to every student you know. Mail it to them, email it to them, IM it to them, call them and tell them about it, etc.

It's not only for professors but for High School teachers (and even doctors.) The links to these are listed on the site

Insanity in our schools

I first heard about this a few months ago when my niece came to visit and she told me she is prohibited from using red to mark her students' papers. I almost crapped my drawers! So now we go so far as to protect the psyche of these little misfits by prohibiting certain colors?

What alternative reality do these educators come from? Listen to this reason why they use purple now instead of red:
"Purple stands out, but it doesn't look as scary as red."

OOOOOHHHH!! Red is scary!! I'm terrified!

Another barking moonbat teacher has this to say:
"Red has a negative connotation, and we want to promote self-confidence. I like purple. I use purple a lot."

Godammit maybe these kids NEED to be SCARED! The little fucks may be failing! Do these educators actually think employers are going to give a shit about their feelings when these little maroons come seeking employment? Why is it we are so hell-bent on sheltering children, anyway? It serves them worse in the real world.

It's bad enough you can't hug the little beggars and, by consequence, turn the school environment into a cold and sterile place (and kids in pre-K to 5th grade can certainly use more hugs and signs of affection. As a matter of fact they crave it)

It's bad enough teachers can't expel troublemakers from the classroom (but at the rate this politically correct crap is going students will soon be expelled if they mention Jesus Christ in a playground or if a student refuses to select certain other classmates on to their teams thereby making those students guilty of "bullying tactics" or students may find themselves expelled for saying that Little Johnny's father is a homosexual (even if it is true) but the charge on the student will be for a hate crime.)

It's getting absolutely ridiculous.

Guess what else I was told some teachers up north can't do? Write on the students' papers. Why? Because it invades their space and offends them, I guess. At first I thought my leg was being pulled. Then I read this:
"At times, she uses sticky notes rather than writing on a child's paper."

WTF,O?!?!?!?!

Hey, let's open this up to other egregious examples. The floor is yours. Have at it. Let's hear them.

What Passes for Education

Imagine this: you send your little 15 year old girl-child to school. While there, she attends a sex ed class where the teacher passes out flavored condoms and asks her to taste them. She flinches. The teacher says,
"Come on, sweetie, have a little fun."

When you complain and send a letter to the school, here's what the deputy director for the public-health division of the state Health Department tells you,
"There was no wrongdoing. I have no more comment. ... (a parent) may or may not agree with that, but that's (their) prerogative. What (the teacher) does, basically, in his classes, depending on the age appropriateness of the class, is to try to get them ... used to condoms and kind of destigmatize them."

Tell me, exactly how pissed off would you be right about now?

Well, this is happening in New Mexico.

So what's next? Bringing sheep into the room in an effort to destigmatize bestiality? How about bringing in 8 year old girls to destigmatize pedophilia? Maybe have Boy George and Barney Frank sodomize Al Franken and Michael Moore to destigmatize them about homosexual behavior?

Believe it or not when a student expressed disgust at homosexuality the teacher said:
"Never say never, because you never know. Someday you might like it that way."

Just what planet do these asshats come from?

Give me a friggin’ break!

California's Secretary of Education says something that you or I would call stupid and now demands are being made for his head! On a platter, no less! Here's the scene:

The Secretary is at summer reading event.

A little 6 year old named Isis comes up and asks him if he knew that her name meant "Egyptian goddess."

He says it meant "stupid dirty girl." OK, that's crass. Moronic. I'll give you that. But reason to fire him? I don't think so. This whole political correctness shit is growing weary to me. Are we so thin skinned we can't tolerate something stupid? What? The little girl is going to be severely traumatized over this? Yeah, if you allow the panty-waisted liberals and the media have their way. Hell, they are probably insisting the mother take her to counseling right now to improve her self esteem.

Anyway, you gotta love a guy who's a bit crass. Especially when he does stuff like this:
"As mayor, he once greeted hunger strikers outside his office eating a hamburger."

Priceless.

Continuing: the mother has already stated Riordan's apologized. She considers the matter closed. She also said, "I'm not going to sue them for therapy bills."

But do you think the media is letting this go? Of course not. Riordan is rich. He was the mayor of Los Angeles. There's money to be made here as far as the media jackals are concerned.

Better still is the racial hysteria instigated by none other than a state assemblyman. We can probably guess what racial persuasion HE is.
"Democratic state Assemblyman Mervyn Dymally, who had scheduled a protest by civil rights organizations, canceled the demonstration after an apparent mix-up over the girl's racial background. Dymally was quoted in the San Jose Mercury News Thursday saying the child was "a little African-American girl. Would he (Riordan) have done that to a white girl?"

The stupid fuck AUTOMATICALLY assumed that a name of Isis meant the girl was a minority. Now, WHO'S the FUCKING RACIST???!?!?!?!?! By the way, the girl is white. A blond, too. With blue eyes.

Then the stupid moonbat fucktard would not return phone calls inquiring about his stupid-ass move. Know what he said?
"To err is human; to forgive is divine."

But apparently to forgive a secretary of education is not allowed. Stupid racist bastard.

More info.

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
