What passes for visual aids in schools

Like many concerned parents we have (or had) fears that our educational system was letting our kids down. They couldn't read. Couldn't write. Failed state tests abysmally.

The emphasis seemed to have been on "feel good" concepts, new "systems" to promote group think and group learning. Compositions written were graded for what the student meant while spelling or grammar errors were totally ignored. Freedom of expression was king. Little girls were told they are free to get abortions without parental involvement. Sex education began in 1st grade. Little girls begin rolling condoms onto cucumbers in grade 5. Homosexuality was deemed acceptable and kids told it is OK to experiment.

All that crap really pisses me off.

Now I find out they are using these kinds of visual aids in biology and high school botany classes in an attempt to show how trees come about. Just what kind of teachers do we have in our schools, anyway?

Let's hope those are not "boy" trees!!!! BWAH HA HA! (had y'all goin' eh? Except for the first three paragraphs which are still true!)

Thanks, Steve!

Educational madness

Read the following to see the sordid, sad state of affairs our education system is in. It's enough to make you despondent about the future of this country.

First up we have an article about colleges and universities which now have classes dealing with "peace studies." Nothing wrong with that, I guess, except that the professors advocate students skip class and go protesting!! And this is for credit, you wonder? YEP!!

Next up we find out kids are actually getting CREDIT for taking classes dealing with pop culture, Harry Potter, Buffy, etc.!!! Makes you wonder how prepared these little moonbats will be for the real world. They'll be able to tell you the names of the actors and the symbology associated with their actions but won't be able to tell you who the President was during the Civil War.

Lastly, there is this. Linda Chavez tells us how we've got the teachers' unions working full time for the election of John Kerry.

In addition, they comprise the largest block of delegates to the Democratic National Convention, will donate millions of union dues to democrats at all levels of office, and comprise 2 of the top 13 donors to the Dummycrap Party.

She closes with this:
Teacher unions deserve an "A" for their unswerving devotion to the Democratic Party, but they have failed miserably when it comes to improving education.

And fail our children they have!! Truer words were never spoken.

Future leaders of America?

Tim Russert gives a commencement speech emphasizing values.

Result? This.

If I were the CEO of any corporation I would have my HR department memorize these names and faces and give express orders to NEVER HIRE these lazy, disrespectful sons of bitches.

Know The Enemy

The enemy is not in the Middle East. The enemy is right here in America, administering our public schools. Several teachers across the country have recently shown the Nick Berg beheading video and have been suspended for doing so, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution (registration required). Here is the full text of the article ....

Teachers on leave over grisly video

By PLOTT BRICE
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 05/24/04

Two southeast Georgia high school teachers were placed on administrative leave after their students watched videos in class of the beheading of American Nicholas Berg in Iraq.

Liberty County director of personnel Wadyce Jenkins said the leave is standard procedure and does not indicate any wrongdoing by either teacher. Neither teacher has been named.

Teachers in Oregon, Texas, South Dakota, Oklahoma and Ohio have been disciplined or are under investigation for showing the video of Berg's killing.

LaKesha Story, of the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, which deals with many levels of teaching in the state, said her office has had no reports of teachers in the state under investigation for showing the video clip. "There's been no reports. This is the first I've heard about it."

Jenkins said students in a third period current events class at the Hinesville school May 17 had their computers on the CNN Web site, where the class follows news.

The video "was a topic of the news and one student said he knew where a five-minute video could be found on the Web. The class and the teacher watched the video," Jenkins said.

Following that class, the video was a topic of a separate, fourth period class. "In a world history class, the students were discussing the video," Jenkins said. "Another student said he knew where to find the video. He got it. The teacher watched, and said, 'That's enough.' "

Jenkins said school officials have not determined how much of the video the second class saw.

That evening, some parents called schools officials to complain. The teachers, who acknowledged the video was shown in their classrooms, were placed on leave Tuesday pending further investigation.

School is out for the summer, but both teachers were at the school Monday doing student records, Jenkins said.

"We were shocked," Jenkins said. "But it was not like the video was being shown as part of the class. It was not part of the classes. I'm not sure much more, if anything, will be done. When you first hear about it you are horrified that students saw it. But the more you find out about it, it's something the kids did and was not a part of the behavior of the teachers."

Jenkins said the school does not know how many students saw the film.

— The Associated Press contributed to this article.

Why were these teachers suspended? For showing violence and bloodshed in the classroom? Not hardly. Those same kids can go to their local movie theatre, buy a ticket and some popcorn and watch all the violence and gore they want (including beheadings) in "Kill Bill". So what's the deal. Could it be because it makes Muslims look bad and could be considered politically incorrect? Which begs the question: did those same administrators stop teachers from showing pictures of the "torture and abuse" at Abu Ghraib prison? My guess is .... NO, because the only people that made look bad were American soldiers.

These insidious bastards in the school administration offices are the enemy. They have a plush, easy job playing domination and mind-control games over our youth and when they decide to retire they take with them an ungodly fat pension provided by the taxpayers.

America, the real enemy is in our school systems and they are ruining a generation of children with their politically correct bullshit. If you have children still in school you better pay attention and keep an eye on your local school administrators.

“Lewinskys” are now a form of birth control!!

Remember how Clinton tortured English during Monica-gate? Remember how he used to say what happened when he got a "Monica" that it was not "sex?"

Then how come every time I read about fellatio and cunnilingus it is ALWAYS referred to as oral "SEX!!!"

Anyway, the fine folks in England are advocating blow jobs and carpet munching as forms of birth control. Now, isn't that special?

It was one thing to put a condom on a banana during sex ed but will teachers now insert that banana in their mouths to teach these precious little children what oral sex really is? I'd like to see a male teacher describe cunnilingus to a classroom full of 6th graders. THAT would be a sight to behold!

Political correctness gone amuck

One school refused to play another school because of it's "offensive name" that denigrates Indians Indigenous Natives. (hmmm, I never noticed til now but if you take the first 4 letters from "indigenous" and the first letter from "native" you have "Indin." Pretty damned close to politically incorrect, itself, eh? Might have to ban that term!)

However, research shows the first school's name is also stereotypically "offensive."

What a bunch of moonbat assclowns. Makes you wonder if there are adults running the facility at these universities.

Now isn’t this special?

Poor widdle students. They're having a hard time making it to class (if they make it at all) and when they do they can't stay awake.

So Duke University will no longer have 8 AM classes.

What do you ant to bet the students are staying up late partying or getting laid by their professors, huh?

Now try explaining it to me, a guy who took a full load of classes AND worked 10-12 hours a day why it is that these mongrels can't handle a 5 or 6 class load? Last I recall not all classes meet every day so, on average, students are physically in the classroom for three classes and basically about 5 hours a day. Even if each class gave out 1.5 hours of homework EVERY SINGLE DAY (which they don't) that still means students average only 10 hours a day devoted to studies. Doesn't seem so bad, does it? So why don't they go to bed early? Whatever happened to personal responsibility? And don't give me any of that progressive shit about their body clocks! Our best scholars and scientists from last century didn't gripe about this and they went on to do startling things. After they graduate, exactly what can we expect from these weenies who are so spoiled?

Also try explaining how in blazes delaying a class to later in the day will make any difference. The students will see they do not have to show until 9 so they stay up even later and then don't show for the 9 o'clock class either.

And to think, this decision was most likely made by people with doctorate's degrees. Doctorates in appeasement and stupidity most likely.

Next thing you know these moonbat assclown graduates will be demanding their places of employment change THEIR hours of operation to accommodate their slovenly ways.

And you wonder why I hold today's college students and professors in such low regard?

Separation Of Church And State? It Depends ….

LGF is reporting that at the University Of Miami, during "Muslim Awareness Month", students are hearing the Muslim call to prayer (Adhan) from the Richter Library bell tower instead of the chimes.

I wonder what would happen if someone displayed a nativity scene there at Christmas ...... you already know the answer to that.

Something is dreadfully wrong here. Why aren't the ACLU, the media and the Liberal Left screaming their pointy little heads off about this?

You already know the answer to that too.

The failure of education

I had to post this. You can be sure there will be screams for additional funding for schools in order to help these "poor children" graduate. Never mind the fact we've spent trillions (that's a number with 12 zeroes after it!) in the past thirty years yet they get dumber and dumber while the bureaucracy gets bigger and bigger.

The educrats will nowbe all atwitter about the fact that about half of Hispanics, Natives and Blacks will graduate high school.

Funny how Asians seem to have no problem with graduating, eh? Must have something to do with personal pride, parents involved in the family, and a race of people that pride themselves on their ability to work hard to overcome adversity rather than sit around collecting welfare, eating hamburgers, pizzas and friend chicken, all the while blaming everyone but themselves for their situation.

My take on all this is simple: If these kids are stupid enough to drop out, then let them suffer for their decisions. For years and years they get told to finish school, they go to seminars showing them their wage earning power as a function of education, etc.

I'm tired of all this self-flagellation I am supposed to engage in because some dumbass shit-for-brains decides to drop out. The media foists all this upon us in an effort to have us engage in guilt-trip behavior and further increase funding for failed government programs to get these ne'er do wells back into school.

Let them drop out!!!!! As our population grows we will need lots of people to work the counters at McDonald's, Burger King, KFC. We will need grass cutters, waitresses, bus boys, house cleaners, car washers, etc. for all the people who will be making millions and needing those services.

New Terrorist Organization

Drudge is reporting that Secretary Of Education Rod Paige has labelled the National Education Association (NEA) a "terrorist organization".

What'd I tell ya, huh, huh?

I've been saying this for years! It's about time someone caught on. The largest PAC in Washington? The NEA. The biggest donor to the Democratic Party? The NEA. The biggest bunch of Barking Moonbats on Planet Earth? The NEA. (well, it's actually a close race with the ACLU)

I say we round up their leaders and send their asses to Gitmo! Pronto!

School Daze

I know I slap the government education system around quite a bit, but with very good reason. They are failing to teach our children the things they need to make it in this world like reading, writing and arithmetic. In addition, recently they have become Barking Moonbats over students bringing nail clippers and aspirin to school, not to mention trying to shove revisionist history down our childrens' throats along with their Leftist agenda. I realize not all teachers in our school systems can be lumped into this group but it seems too many are.

And the school administrators are the worst of the lot. In quite a few cases, they are an arrogant lot who perceive the school as their little kingdom, there for their personal gratification.

As Lord Acton said, "power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely". Nowhere is this more evident than at South Haven High School in Michigan where the assistant principal decided that one of his students must be a drug dealer. Not being able to catch him at it, he planted marijuana in the boy's locker to get the boy arrested.

Fortunately for the boy in question, police, with the assistance of sniffer dogs, figured out what happened. The assistant principal confessed after police searched his office and found packets of suspected marijuana and drugs.

Now, according to the article, "prosecutors are reviewing the case to determine whether [the assistant principal] can be charged with possession of marijuana".

Unbelievable!?! The crime here is not that he had marijuana but that he tried to destroy a young man's life after making an arbitrary decision in his Barking Moonbat brain. At the very least, he deserves to be fired, lose his fat NEA-supported pension and serve 10 to 20 of hard time. Or better yet ..........

BRING ME HIS HEAD!

Hot on the heels of the last rant

Simply PRICELESS!!!!!! There is no other term to describe it.

Students at Roger Williams University are offering a scholarship available to whites only "designed to protest affirmative action."

I can see the NAACP and the ACLU having kittens, throwing shit fits, having conniptions and, in general whining and crying in a corner like a bunch of little girls about the "unfairness," "mean spiritedness," and overall hatred displayed by this sort of action.

Give this a good perusal and then sit back and smile as you imagine the hate and spite that liberals on campuses everywhere must be generating after reading this themselves. Their panties are most likely in a very tight wad and wedged firmly up their ass. HOOOEE! You gotta love it!! Go get 'em RWUCR!!!

Go here to contact the club and donate money to the scholarship.

Diversity or adversity in our classrooms?

By now almost all of you have heard about the ridiculously high Democrat to Republican ratio at our colleges and universities--something in the order of 8 or 9 to one (or higher). It rivals that of the media.

So it should come as no surprise that when you pack your grownup rug rat/curtain climber/ankle biter/crumb snatcher off to college, you better be prepared for the little darlings' indoctrination and brainwashing at the hands of these barking moonbat goons.

You've also heard about how college conservatives try to have bake sales to point out the hypocrisy of affirmative action and end up getting shut down because their actions are "divisive" and "hateful." Yet, college women's groups stage bake sales to promote what they believe to be salary inequalities yet "THOSE" bake sales are allowed.

From a first hand point of view, I got this note from a friend who just started college here in Florida and what he writes continues to reinforce the point I am making that college campuses are breeding grounds for political correctness and two-faced hypocrisy.

Read what Cal has to say:

I am a student at Florida Atlantic University and thought you may find this interesting.

On Monday, January 19 all students of FAU were given an opportunity to observe the life and Martin Luther King Jr. on the holiday named in his honor. There were rallies, remembrance, and remorse, and , oh yeah, no classes.

FLASH FORWARD, today February 16, Presidents Day. Today there wasn't time for rallies or reverence, but no shortage of classes. FAU in its omnipotence decide that students didn't deserve the opportunity to observe this holiday. I mean hell they were just DEAD WHITE MEN.

Oops, wait, no, they were Presidents of the USA. Now I don't mean to trivialize the life of a Civil Rights leaders, but I do see some hypocrisy here. We can honor King for fighting for Civil Rights, but not Lincoln for freeing the slaves, or Washington and Adams for fighting to establish a country where any rights, civil or otherwise, were even permitted to exist, or perhaps remembering Wilson and Roosevelt for fighting to ensure that we weren't assimilated into the GERMAN culture.

Perhaps this is trivial, but perhaps this is a demonstration of America's forgetfulness. I often see stickers saying "9/11/01, We will not forget", but we have already forgotten "The Maine", Pearl Harbor, the Boston Tea Party, and every other great tragedy this country has ever faced. It is time that we remember not only these tragedies, but the great men that led our country through them.

Well, MAYBE NEXT YEAR.

Thanks, Cal.

CASE CLOSED! Class is over. Test tomorrow!

Campus hypocrisy

This is another great example of "don't fuck with my free speech but if you expose us for the hypocrites we are then we will yell, OPPRESSORS" and stifle YOUR rights to free speech!!!!""

What hypocritical bastards! It's OK to post obscene art denigrating (can I sue that word or is it banned yet by the NAACP?) not only women but the current president yet they NEVER posted anything similar when assclown Clinton was President.
