Reasons To Nuke France: Part MMMDCLXXIX

French fashion designers say “modern man is more open-minded, sensitive, free” and that the “macho man” of the past is being replaced with “hybrid man”.

PARIS (AFP) - Macho man is an endangered species, with today’s male more likely to opt for a pink flowered shirt and swingers’ clubs than the traditional role as family super-hero, fashion industry insiders say.

A study along these lines led by French marketing and style consultants Nelly Rodi was unveiled to Fashion Group International during a seminar Tuesday on future strategy for the fashion industry in Europe.

“The masculine ideal is being completely modified. All the traditional male values of authority, infallibility, virility and strength are being completely overturned,” said Pierre Francois Le Louet, the agency’s managing director.

Instead today’s males are turning more towards “creativity, sensitivity and multiplicity,” as seen already in recent seasons on the catwalks of Paris and Milan.

Arnold Schwarznegger and Sylvester Stallone are being replaced by the 21st-century man who “no longer wants to be the family super-hero”, but instead has the guts to be himself, to test his own limits.

“We are watching the birth of a hybrid man. ... Why not put on a pink-flowered shirt and try out a partner-swapping club?” asked Le Louet, stressing that the study had focused on men aged between 20 and 35.

Sociologists and other experts spent three months analyzing some 150 magazines and books and 146 Internet sites, as well as interviewing a dozen experts from Europe, the United States and China.

The traditional man still exists in China, Le Louet said, and “is not ready to go”. But in Europe and the United States, a new species is emerging, apparently unafraid of anything.

“He is looking for a more radical affirmation of who he is, and wants to test out all the barbarity of modern life” including in the sexual domain, said Le Louet, adding that Reebok with its “I am what I am” campaign had perfectly tapped into this current trend.

Brits To Revert To Stone Age

It is now official. Brits are being completely disarmed. British researchers have completed a study that shows knives are being used in too many crimes and are pushing for legislation to ban them.

The study found links between easy access to domestic knives and violent assault are long established.

French laws in the 17th century decreed that the tips of table and street knives be ground smooth.

A century later, forks and blunt-ended table knives were introduced in the UK in an effort to reduce injuries during arguments in public eating houses.

The researchers say legislation to ban the sale of long pointed knives would be a key step in the fight against violent crime.

“The Home Office is looking for ways to reduce knife crime.

“We suggest that banning the sale of long pointed knives is a sensible and practical measure that would have this effect.”

Home Office spokesperson said there were already extensive restrictions in place to control the sale and possession of knives.

“The law already prohibits the possession of offensive weapons in a public place, and the possession of knives in public without good reason or lawful authority, with the exception of a folding pocket knife with a blade not exceeding three inches.

“Offensive weapons are defined as any weapon designed or adapted to cause injury, or intended by the person possessing them to do so.

“An individual has to demonstrate that he had good reason to possess a knife, for example for fishing, other sporting purposes or as part of his profession (e.g. a chef) in a public place.

Question: What do you get when you combine the New York Times, a French “special representative of the UN” and a 2,000 page report on Afghanistan published by the US Army?

Answer: Another reason to nuke France, burn the UN building to the ground and blow up the NY Times offices.

KABUL (Reuters) - A report of U.S. military abuse of detainees in Afghanistan is deeply disturbing and those involved should be punished, the United Nations said on Sunday.

The abuse, including details of the deaths of two inmates at an Afghan detention center, took place in 2002 and emerged from a nearly 2,000-page file of U.S. Army investigators, The New York Times said on Friday.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai, speaking before leaving on a U.S. trip, said on Saturday he was shocked and was demanding action against the culprits as well as custody of Afghan prisoners and supervision of U.S. military searches.

Jean Arnault, special representative of the U.N. secretary-general in Afghanistan, said the abuse reported in the New York Times was unacceptable and an affront to everything the international community stood for.

“The gravity of these abuses calls for the punishment of all those involved in such inexcusable crimes, as demanded by President Karzai,” Arnault said in a statement.

Arnault said steps taken since 2002 to eradicate mistreatment and improve conditions should be made public. Complaints that continue to be made of arbitrary arrest and detention without charge should be fully addressed, he said.

Dishes at the Espitas restaurant in Dresden include maggot ice cream, maggot salads and maggot cocktails.

Espitas owner Alexander Wolf said: “We are the first in the world as far as I know to start importing them.

“What started out as a bit of a joke has exceeded all expectations. We started serving them about a month ago, and now we have guests spreading the word to their friends, and we are now fully booked for weeks ahead.

“We serve maggot salads, fried maggots with cactus and corn, maggot desserts such as maggots in ice cream or chocolate sauce, and of course maggot cocktails.

“The maggots have proved to be such a success, that I now preparing my next project: a delicious traditional Mexican dish of ant eggs and grasshoppers in several variations.”

Teenager Sarah Azubi, 17, said: “I had them deep fried, they were crunchy like chips and tasted a bit like nuts, with a soft juicy bit in the middle around a crunchy shell.”

The Problem With France ….

.... is that it is full of Frenchmen. Frenchmen who will be defying their government tomorrow because the government is asking them to give up one of eleven federally-mandated holidays (Pentecost). The French government is doing this in order to raise additional taxes on the extra day of work and use it to improve health care for the elderly. Instead, the population of France is saying ”NON!” ....

PARIS (Reuters) - Millions of French workers are expected to stay at home on Monday, ignoring a government decision to scrap the traditional Pentecost public holiday to generate funds to improve healthcare for the elderly.

Mass defiance of the government will deal a new blow to the authority of Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin and President Jacques Chirac, two weeks before a referendum on the European Union constitution which polls show the government could lose.

The row over the holiday has served as a lightning rod for opposition to the constitution. The latest opinion poll by the Ifop research group showed the charter’s opponents are again ahead of its backers, by a margin of 54 percent to 46 percent.

“The great day of solidarity foreseen for Monday, May 16 has become a social and political imbroglio (mess),” Le Monde newspaper said in an editorial in its Sunday edition.

France’s cash-strapped government hopes taxes on Monday’s production will generate an extra 2 billion euros to be spent on healthcare for the aged.

In 2003, the government was criticised for being unprepared and not acting fast enough to save lives when an August heatwave killed 15,000 people, most of them elderly.

By dumping what was one of 11 public holidays, Raffarin had hoped to avoid raising taxes on individuals, but now faces a backlash over what unions call a “day of free work”.

An Ifop poll published on Sunday showed 55 percent of employees plan not to work on Monday. Another poll last week found two-thirds of people oppose the government’s decision.

UN Probes German Companies in Oil for Food Scandal

German companies are also involved in the kickback scandal looming over the oil for food program. United Nations investigators recently requested exports files on 50 German firms from the Foreign Ministry.

Isn’t it interesting how, one by one, all of the countries that were so “opposed” to the invasion of Iraq and the toppling of Saddam’s regime, are being found out as participating of this cluster-fornication of a program?

Bankers in the city along the Rhone River did brisk business with Saddam, even during the United Nations embargo. Saddam’s followers secretly demanded their piece of the pie: those “pieces” were shares of inflated bills issued to corporations planning to supply goods to Baghdad as part of the oil-for-food program. As one of several channels, one account held at the tony Geneva private bank Safdie could be used to transfer these kickbacks.

Paris Is Burning

o imagine this. In the capital city of an industrialized nation - a member of the G8, there occurs a peaceful protest by high school students, almost all of them blacks and Arabs. There are tens of thousands of them upset with government cuts and education reforms. Suddenly, bands of white youths in the hundreds move in and attack the protesting students.

The black and Arab victims offer little resistance. And the less resistance they offer, the more the white kids attack, beating and kicking them while they lay defenseless on the ground. The white kids yell at the protestors calling them ‘little blackies.’ The attackers say that they are ‘taking revenge on the blackies’ and beat up other white students who try to protect the defenseless victims. These are called sellouts.

There is no doubt about it. This attack is racially motivated. To make matters worse, the news media in this G8 nation glosses over the story. They do nothing to raise the awareness of this race riot and senseless attack. The overseas media - including the US news organizations, turn a blind eye to the suffering of the protesting students and their inability to speak freely without fear of retribution.

Sounds horrible, huh? Doesn’t quite seem like “the evolving standards of decency that mark the progress of a maturing society,” right? Apparently it DID happen, in of all places, that bastion of “progressive thought” (can you say L’Oxymoron?), France.

Oh, there is one thing I forgot to mention.

The white students? They were the ones peacefully protesting, and the black and Arab kids? They were the thugs on the attack - several hundred of them:

“On March 8, tens of thousands of high school students marched through central Paris to protest education reforms announced by the government. Repeatedly, peaceful demonstrators were attacked by bands of black and Arab youths--about 1,000 in all, according to police estimates.”

“Rachid, an Arab attacker, added that even an Arab can be considered a ‘little white’ if he ‘has a French mindset.’ The general sentiment was a desire to ‘take revenge on whites.’”

..and, if you call before midnight tonight:

“One black student he saw come to the defense of a fellow student under attack by three blacks was called ‘a white sellout’ by the assailants.”

Now, like any red-blooded American male, I enjoy watching the arrogant French being jostled from their cheese party and 35-hour work week by a bloody nose. However, beyond this sugary taste of instant gratification, there are other things that thinking people might consider.

First, the MSM has ignored this story. A search at cbsnews.com on the string: “France riot March student race” came up empty. Same for abcnews.com and msnbc.com. Even Fox did not appear to have reported this story. It seems the MSM won’t consider it a race riot when blacks and Arabs are doing the thumpin’. And what the hell? It was only several hundred of them that actually beat anyone up. And it was only in Paris. It’s not like that’s a population center or anything. Clearly this was just a simple misunderstanding - now let’s get back to the marathon coverage of Terri Schiavo, Pope John Paul II, Charles and Camilla.

Second, why would the MSM ignore a major race riot in central Paris? Simple. The attackers, blacks and Arabs (hint: code word for Muslims) are part of the “protected minority.” A bomb went off in Bagdad? Must have been “insurgents.” Only imperialists from America kill Muslims. Someone overpowered the grandma-guard in an Atlanta courthouse and is on a shooting spree with her Glock? Be on the lookout for a man with a “dark complexion.” Think I’m being paranoid? When was the last time you saw a commercial for a domestic violence organization that depicted a black or hispanic man as “the bad guy?” This ad from endabuse.org would have you think that only overweight, middle-aged white men are capable of mental and physical abuse.

And third, what do you get when you combine a country ripe with examples of historical cowardice, a politically correct news media and a wave of immigration that preaches hate and intolerance? You get the nation of France descending on its final lap around the toilet bowl. Hang on to the turd, Jacques!

Watch this one closely folks, and remember this when the French call us barbarians for sentencing serial pedophile murderers to death by lethal injection. Two world wars began in the continent SCOTUS considers its moral lighthouse. The US had to save the whining, pathetic French each time. Bad things happen “en trois.”

Foreign Moonbats

Remember Norway, home of that assmunch who accused us of being stingy?

Well, his government is run by a bunch of politically correct moonbats.  Well, we kinda knew that already but this one is REALLY special.

A Norwegian minister said that the government would CLOSE (that’s in shutter/bar/lock) the doors of companies that do not meet a minimum of 40% recruitment in women in their boardrooms by 2007.  And not only shut them; the government would LIQUIDATE their assets!!!!

In other words, they are taking away a woman’s right to choose to stay at home.

So is this how liberal socialism works?

Of course, the feminists will be cheering this ruling.  But it was never about “equal rights” after all, was it? It was always about activist rights.

Who the hell wants to live in a hellish place like that?  I hope Norwegian CEOs get smart and shut their doors now.  Maybe go to Ireland.  Then I’d like to see how they’d raise tax revenue to support their government dependant masses.

England, Land Of Liberal Asshats

Like the US, England has laws currently on the books prohibiting criminals from voting.

Except now England wants to give ALL criminals the right to vote.

As said so succinctly by those protesting this move:

those excluded from society should not have a say over the way it is governed.

I could not agree more.

Somehow these moral relativist asshats and believers in some sort of “feel-good” nonsense seem to think this proposal will somehow make criminals decent people again.  What fools!  What lunacy!!!

No????  Really???  Who’d Have Guessed?

Paris has slipped to number 8 of places people want to go to. First time ever.

“Experts” are saying it’s because people want to go elsewhere for their adventures.

I’d say the chickens have finally come home to roost.

French are notoriously arrogant and rude.  They look down their noses at anyone who does not speak perfect French.

I guess people got tired of that attitude and are going to where they are better treated.

Hey, when you have L.A., Thailand, and South Africa AHEAD of Paris it sure looks like tourists would rather take their chances with (look closely now) gang wars, drugs, shootings, assaults, racial violence and tsunamis then the pissant French.

It serves them right.  My memories of France are of rude people, small cars, dog shit on the sidewalks, and a nice shady area they made for the German soldiers in WW II.

Our Friends, The Euro-Peons

You know, with friends like these, we don’t need an Iran or North Korea or Syria.

We start with Belgium where police training manuals have pictures of President Bush depicted as a chimp.

Imagine the outrage by the French if NY City’s police department’s training manuals portrayed Jacques Chirac with a white stripe running down his back in images showing the proper way to kneel before Mecca.

Fuck the French!  Imagine what OUR ACLU would do---to us!!!  But Belgians, well, they’re only good for waffles, I guess.  Worthless, piece of shit country.

Remember all that bluff and bluster by the Euro-weenies concerning Paul Wolfowitz as head of the World Bank?  Typical Euro-peon behavior.  I swear to God, the Euro-weenies are like those annoying little dogs that yip and yap and charge at you but as soon as you advance they run away howling, “Yiiiii, Yiiiii, Yiiiii”, tails tucked firmly between its legs.

Well, Paul got approved OVERWHELMINGLY.

Now, if we can only convince him that we must stop giving money to nations like China and India (nations more than capable of raising funds on their own to do whatever they want) I’d be happy.

In more news from Waffle-land, the EU plans to slap 15% tariffs on US goods.

Why?

Because we didn’t sign on to an anti-dumping law.

I think what’s needed now is for all good Americans in Belgium to “take a dump” in front of the EU HQs.

What arrogant little pissants these Euro-peons are!

And speaking of ineffectual pissants, the amounts affected total about $28 million.  Hell, we have thousands of people in the US making that per year in salaries and wages.  I’ll bet if we could convince them to pool their resources we could buy Europe outright and turn it into a military training area for tanks, bombers, missiles, etc.

Nekkid Bullshit From PETA

MADRID (AFP) - The annual “running of the bulls” in the northern Spanish town of Pamplona could get some serious competition this year, in the form of a rival run by naked humans protesting cruelty to animals.

The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) group, which has protested against the event in the past, even announced that it was asking the town authorities to replace the traditional bull-chase with its “running of the nudes.”

The nine-day San Fermin festival, due to start on July 6, traditionally involves hundreds of runners, including many tourists, trying to outrace a herd of bulls, who chase them throught the town’s narrow streets in a tradition that goes back centuries.

But PETA, which last year unleashed several protesters wearing nothing but fake horns and sandals into the streets of Pamplona, said it wants to turn the ‘Running of the Nudes’ into the official event this year to protest cruelty against animals.

The group is also concerned about last year’s outbreak of blue tongue disease, a virus which forced restrictions on livestock movements in southern regions of Spain.

“In light of the outbreak of blue tongue disease and the negative press reports of the disease… we have asked the mayor to make PETA’s Running of the Nudes’ the official event this year, PETA’s campaigns coordinator Yvonne Taylor told AFP.

A spokeswoman for Pamplona mayor Yolanda Barcina Angulo would not comment on PETA’s plans, but said that: “as far as we know the bull-running will go ahead as usual” in the absence of advice to the contrary following the blue tongue outbreak.

“People are free to express their own opinion. But the criticism only comes from Britons and Americans, not Spaniards,” she sniffed.

PETA tried a celebrity approach last year, with Chrissie Hynde, singer with rock group The Pretenders, urging an end to the “medieval” practice of “tormenting and slaughtering” the bulls, who last year gored 16 race participants.

Amid the controversy the organisers promise only that “the running of the bulls is an unforgettable experience for the spectator and above all for anyone who runs ahead of the bulls.

“It’s a spectacle defined by risk and one’s physical capacity.”
