as hard to be rid of as cockroaches. oh ,,,, wait.  yup, roaches and other insects

One of so many cases just like this.  It never ends. And the civil right groups and their mouthpieces add to the state of affairs.
It can only grow ..... the public will become angrier but be helpless to do anything, because to even use the ‘N’ word, much less rightly lynch scum like this, also open them up to charges of hate crimes and hate speech.
May as well toss hate thoughts into the mix as well.  That’ll be next.

Somali rapist who should have been deported after being jailed for brutal gang rape in 2007 was allowed to stay in UK and became a drug dealer while claiming benefits

Abdulmajid Al-Amodi jailed for eight years in 2007 for raping 17-year-old

He was told by judge at the time he would be deported after he left jail

But he was freed after four years only to live on benefits and deal drugs

Home Office has refused to say why he wasn’t deported after sentence

By Amanda Williams for MailOnline

A Somali sex attacker who should have been deported after serving his sentence for a brutal gang rape was instead set free to become a drug dealer.

In 2007 Abdulmajid Al-Amodi, 26, was jailed for eight years after he was convicted of a gang rape of a 17-year-old student.

At the time, the court heard he was filmed, laughing making jokes about ‘roasting pork’ in a 50 second clip.

He was told by a judge he had behaved like an animal and his student immigration status in Britain should be revoked and that he would be deported.

Instead he was released after four years in prison and moved back to Hull – where he originally raped the teenager - where he became a crack cocaine dealer while claiming £140 benefits every two weeks.

However, Al-Amodi, from Hull, was back behind bars today after being found guilty of possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

He was told by a judge he should be deported again.

His family say they will fight the second deportation. The Home Office say they ‘are committed to deporting this individual’ – but only at the end of his sentence.

In the latest hearing a jury of five women and seven men took less than an hour to find Al-Amodi guilty of dealing drugs after a three-day trial at Hull Crown Court.

Sentencing Al-Amodi to two and a half years in prison Judge Mark Bury said the sentence meant he would be considered for deportation again: ‘You have been convicted on overwhelming evidence of street dealing.

‘Maybe you were drug running for someone. Your previous conviction is only relevant in as much as you fought a trial and the jury did not believe you then, as they do not now.

‘I make no assumptions about your national status. As far as I am aware you are Somalian national who was recommended for deportation in 2007.

‘Whether or not you were given British Citizenship after that I do not know. If you have citizenship then the under the provisions of the new UK Border Act you will now be considered for deportation.’

Crown barrister David Hall said he did not believe Al-Amodi was ever given British citizenship. He said he could not account for how he had slipped through the net and not sent back to Somalia.

The jury in the latest trial heard Al-Amodi was watched by two undercover police officer making three street deals in Waterloo Street, Hull before they moved in to arrest him on August 14 2014.

Outside court Almodi’s elder brother was anxious to find out where he would be sent to prison. He said his brother had not been granted full citizenship because he had not passed the written test. He said he had not been deported.

‘We left Somalia because of the violence there.

‘He cannot go back.

‘He has a girlfriend and a young daughter here. He will fight deportation.’

A Home Office spokesman said: ‘Foreign nationals who commit crimes in the UK should be in no doubt of our determination to deport them – we have removed more than 23,000 since 2010.

‘The Home office remains committed to deporting this individual from the UK.’

He said ‘Non-EU nationals who are jailed for 12-months or more are routinely considered for deportation at the end of their sentence.

Almodi’s older brother Mahasmoud Abi Al-Almudi, 27, was recommended for deportation in 2006 by the same judge after being convicted of attempted rape. He too remains in the UK.

So then ...... the brother as well?  Hmmmm

Is the disgusting stereotypical behavior a result of a genetic predisposition to behaving like savages?

Those Racist Baltimore Cops

Just so you know ...

from CNN:

One officer—the driver of the police van—has been charged with several counts, including second-degree depraved-heart murder.

Sgt. Alicia D. White

3) Assault/second degree (10 yrs.)
4) Manslaughter by vehicle (gross negligence) (10 yrs.)
5) Manslaughter by vehicle (criminal negligence) (3 yrs.)
6) Misconduct in office (8th Amendment* )

In lieu of additional information I don’t have, I’ll give you my opinion.

I doubt that there were 6 cops in the van. I wonder if in truth there were only 3 officers in that van. And I wonder if knowing that half the police involved were black would have diffused the situation to any extent.

More info found ... Oh ho !!! ... a timeline from the NYT

8:39:12 a.m.  Initial Contact

Lt. Brian W. Rice and Officers Edward M. Nero and Garrett E. Miller were on bike patrol near the corner of North Avenue and Mount Street. Lieutenant Rice made eye contact with Mr. Gray, who ran away.

... and so forth - follow the link and think it out yourself - but it looks to me as if Goodson was the only cop in the van for most of it’s nearly circular journey. Porter wasn’t part of this until “Stop 3”, at which point it appears he either got in the van or followed it in his patrol car. I have no idea when Sgt. White became part of this, as she doesn’t enter the tale until “Stop 4”. She could have been one of the arresting officers at that scene, or she could have been in the van the entire time.

“Stop 1” was only a few yards from the initial pick up point, so the bicycle cops either chased down the van or called out to it as it was moving away. Did they see Grey moving around inside from outside? Regardless, they do not seem to be in the van from that point on, as Officers Nero and Miller are noted as “meeting” the van at Stop 4. Officer Porter was there too, and so was Sgt. White. Lt. Rice isn’t part of anything past the initial arrest, van loading, and the Stop 1 a few yards away.

All of which means this all boils down to ... not much in the way of stick for the charges against White, Rice, Nero, or Miller. Maybe a bit more against Porter. It’s all going to land on Goodson.

Baltimore Police Charged

Freddie Gray death ruled a homicide, charges filed against 6 officers

image

Prosecutors charged six Baltimore police officers Friday with crimes ranging from murder to assault in the death of Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old black man whose death last month of injuries apparently suffered in police custody touched off peaceful protests that degenerated into a night of rioting, looting and chaos Monday.

State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby, speaking at a Friday news conference, blasted the six police involved in Gray’s arrest on April 12, during which he suffered a broken neck that proved fatal a week later. Mosby said the police had no basis for arresting Gray, who police said avoided eye contact and was carrying a switchblade. One police officer, identified as Caesar Goodson, 45, was charged with second-degree murder, while others were charged with crimes including manslaughter and assault.

“No one is above the law,” declared Mosby, who said she comes from three generations of law enforcement and has been on the job for four months. Her husband is Baltimore City Councilman Nick Mosby, who has spoken out about the riots and anger in the city’s African-American community.

Goodson was charged with second-degree depraved-heart murder, involuntary manslaughter, second-degree negligent assault, as well as other charges including failure to render aid and misconduct in office.

- Police Officer William Porter was charged with involuntary manslaughter, second-degree assault and misconduct in office.

- Police Lt. Brian Rice was charged with involuntary manslaughter and second-degree assault.

- Police Officer Alicia White was charged with involuntary manslaughter, second degree assault and misconduct in office.

- Police officers Edward Nero and Garrett Miller were charged with multiple counts of assault, false imprisonment and misconduct in office.

The Baltimore police officers union issued a statement before Mosby’s announcement, saying the six officers are not responsible for Gray’s death.

“As tragic as this situation is, none of the officers involved are responsible for the death of Mr. Gray,” Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 3 President Gene Ryan said

“Depraved heart murder”?? WTF? And in the 2nd degree. How is that even possible? AND involuntary manslaughter, AND second-degree negligent assault, in case the first charges don’t stick. WTF. Pick one. I don’t think it’s legal to charge anyone with all the Baskin-Robbins flavors, unless they can show how each one is a separate situation.

CNN has a specific breakdown of which officer was charged with what offense, which shows one officer facing 4 different charges of causing someone’s death. Sounds like a big load of kangaroo krap to me, but maybe this is how state attorneys do things. Especially state attorneys married to outspoken members of the city council. My, what a coincidence.

I really, really want to see pictures of the officers involved.

cross dressing can get you killed

1 dead after driver tries to ram gate at NSA headquarters

Two men dressed as women tried to ram the gate of the National Security Agency headquarters in Fort Meade with an SUV Monday morning, resulting in a shooting that left one person dead, according to an official and sources familiar with the investigation.

After the gate was rammed around 9:30 local time, a guard reportedly got into an argument with the men and gunfire erupted. It is believed that the guard shot one or both of the men, who were taken to local hospitals to be treated, sources told Fox News.

A senior U.S. official told Fox News that one of the two people in the car is dead. A separate source says the other person has been taken to a hospital and is undergoing shock trauma, while an officer has been injured in the arm.

Chad Jones, a spokesman at Fort Meade, told The Associated Press that emergency responders are on the scene.

At least one person on a stretcher being wheeled to an ambulance appeared to be in uniform, WUSA-TV reports. There are two vehicles with damage outside the gate.

At this point, local law enforcement is saying there are local criminals. News briefing to follow. News reporters were herded off to a field by a museum more than a mile away from the gates where the incident occurred.

From Out Of The Blue, One Way Or Another

Chicken Little peeps out at the sky, to see if it has stopped falling.

So far, so good.

Looks like we had 2” of snow here today. 4 times.  We had 2” on the walk this morning. I shoveled it off. We had 2” on the walk a couple hours later when the condo guys came by. They shoveled it off. We had 2” in the late afternoon when I took the garbage out, so I shoveled. Then we had about 2” at some point this evening, when the condo guys came around again and shoveled once more.

Skies are overcast, but not much more than another flake or two is predicted. Followed by at least 36 hours of really friggin’ cold to set things, followed by a week(??!!!???!) of above freezing temperatures? No way.

Vilmar ran a neat post on an old airplane today. I saw it, and wanted to do a copycat post on the old Fairchild PT-19. But I couldn’t find a video of one flying in its proper colors, yellow and blue. This is a plane that I didn’t even know was real; I thought it was just some thing Cox put together. You see, the real PT-19 was the main pursuit pilot training plane from WWII.  And it looked like this

image

but millions of boys my age only knew of the one that Cox made, a learn to fly control line model plane with a real gas engine!!!, the fabulous Cox 0.049. The airplane was designed to crash, and held together loosely with a few rubber bands. And it looked like this

image

Ah, memories. Of the greasy, oily fuel the dinky little engine used. Of those horrible “dry cell” batteries that could barely heat the glow plug, which was half the size of grain of rice. Of the smell, and the smoke, and how everything got covered in the oily exhaust after you finally got the damn little engine running after 90 million attempts. Of continually crashing the plane because the elevator was way too sensitive. Get it going, fly it half a circle a few inches off the ground, give the handle some “up”, and watch the plane instantly go vertical, straight up, over your head at 400mph on the end of the 25 foot wires, and straight down into the ground. Smash! However, the plastic parts were very flexible and resilient, so get out another 4 or 5 rubber bands and put it back together again and try once more.

Seriously, until I was in my mid-20s I never knew that there was an actual real airplane this plastic toy SplatMaster crashing machine was based on. How about that?

image

In similar news, actor Harrison Ford has crashed his restored Ryan ST-22, another trainer aircraft from the WWII era. He had an engine failure and was forced to land on the fairway of a golf course. The plane is a bit bent, as is the pilot. Not the best landing landing Han, but good enough!

image

Harrison Ford crash-landed his vintage plane Thursday after losing engine power, suffering serious but not life-threatening injuries after using his extensive piloting skills to “beautifully” bring down the plane on a golf course and avoid nearby homes.

It was the latest and most serious in a series of crashes and close calls for the 72-year-old action-adventure A-lister, who like his “Star Wars” alter-ego Han Solo has a taste for aerial thrills. He was helped by golfers who saw the plane come down about a quarter-mile short of the runway at Santa Monica Municipal Airport and taken to a hospital conscious and breathing.

Fire officials would not confirm the pilot’s identity. However, an email from interim Santa Monica city manager Elaine Polachek sent to city officials said the plane was flown by Ford.

According to the email, Ford was about a half-mile west of the airport and flying at 3,000 feet when he told air traffic controllers that his engine failed. Ford’s plane “apparently hit a tree on the way down,” and in addition to a cut forehead Ford may have broken his leg, the email said.

The plane, a yellow 1942 Ryan Aeronautical ST3KR with stars on its wings, was upright and mostly intact after the crash. No one on the ground was hurt.

“I would say that this is an absolutely beautifully executed – what we would call – a forced or emergency landing, by an unbelievably well-trained pilot,” said Christian Fry of the Santa Monica Airport Association.

and not a gun in sight …. of course not.  guns are dangerous

In a world that doesn’t believe in gun ownership …..

Anything is possible.

I recently saw a very funny (it must be admitted) comedian doing a number on gun ownership and the hapless American loons who see attackers and would be killers around every bend.  Of course he wrote his routine based upon his own personal thinking which totally excluded, conveniently, many cases on record of lives saved because someone was armed unknown to their attackers.

So here’s today’s story without a gun. Or a weapon of any sort except in the hands of the verminous bastards who …..

Pregnant woman, 22, attacked with baseball bat and knife by masked gang after they burst into her home while she was GIVING BIRTH

· Pregnant woman, 22, was beaten with baseball bats while giving birth

· Gang of five men broke into her home in Essex and demanded money

· They attacked 22-year-old and slashed her in the face with a butcher’s knife

· She suffered a haemorrhage and was rushed to Basildon Hospital

· Young mother gave birth to a healthy baby on Tuesday despite injuries

· Police are now hunting five men, aged in the twenties, involved in attack

By Jenny Awford for MailOnline

A pregnant woman was beaten with baseball bats and slashed in the face with a butcher’s knife when a masked gang burst into her home while she was giving birth.
The 22-year-old was about to leave for hospital when five masked men smashed their way into her house in Basildon, Essex, at around 8.30pm using crowbars.
She suffered a haemorrhage and may have a fractured skull after the gang attacked her with crowbars and a knife while her two-year-old child was asleep in bed.

You don’t need me to add anything else. The whole story is below.
And it sucks.

CONTINUED

As long as I’m the subject .... that being crime ....

A few days ago a group of youngsters were riding their bikes down a London street when suddenly another group on foot ran out to attack and steal their bikes.
Sadly ,,,, in one case, one of the attackers ran out and into a rider and swung at the kid with a knife.  No provocation, no fight. He just simply struck and killed a 15year old bike rider.

Another day in London town.  Far as I know they haven’t caught anyone yet. But you can bet the penalty won’t be any big deal especially if the killer is young enough.
With all our wonderful advances and medicine and technology and communication between people, our world sucks.

Hey .... two killers now serving life ( whatever that means ) for murder .... have been granted permission to marry in prison.
Isn’t that sweet?
I wonder if they’ll be let out for a weekend honeymoon.

Norway Takes Step One

Norway Deports 824 Muslims, Crime Drops At Least 30%

Norway recently made the controversial decision to deport a large amount of Muslims with ties to radical groups.

Despite all the liberals in Norway deeming this “racist”, the logical party went ahead with it and the result almost shut down every opposing voice in the government instantly. This is one of the best stories we have eve seen come from such a liberal area of the world.

Violent Crime Dropped By 30%.

Norwegian authority claims that 824 people were deported in October, for such a small country, that’s a record breaking number. The authorities attributed the change to “portfolio priorities” which have essentially made it easier to deport people back to Nigeria & Afghanistan.

A record number of people were deported by Norwegian authorities in October, said government sources.

The National Police Immigration Service Norway (Politiets Utlendingsenhet – PU) deported 824 people in October, which is a new record.

The previous record was set in September, the month prior, when 763 people were deported, reported Dagsavisen.

Oslo, Norway: “The world’s largest gang of thugs, murderers, and rapists is masquerading as a religion of peace,” says Adrian Stavig, a resident of Oslo.

Beginning this past January, the new Norwegian Prime Minister, Erna Solberg began a program which targets and deports Muslims who have ties to radical groups.

While many in America would say this is racist, it’s worked in dramatic fashion. Violent crimes are down more than 31% in Norway.

What a shocker.

Perhaps the rest of Europe and the United States could learn a lesson or two about radical Islam here. Deport the radicals, keep the moderates, and everybody wins.

Golly, I wonder what would happen to the crime stats if they deported 10,000 more? Diminishing returns, square of the radius, and all that ... have to take it up an order of magnitude to get to the next point on the curve.

It’s a start.

Seriously?

NJ Junior High Gym Teacher Busted

Porn, Pot, Pedo ... what an idiot

A gym teacher at the Costley Middle School in East Orange ran a major indoor marijuana farm in his home, which was discovered when police executed a search warrant as part of a child pornography investigation, state authorities said today.

“JB” (name removed and link redacted by his request because he is not yet convicted of any of these charges), 37, of Roselle, who is also the head wrestling coach at East Orange Campus High School, was arrested Friday after allegedly uploading child pornography to a Google+ photo account using a computer at a school facility, the Attorney General’s Office said.

Authorities said the investigation began with a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which indicated that images were uploaded from an IP address in a school district facility using an email address later traced to JB.

“It’s appalling that a man entrusted with instructing and mentoring young students as a teacher and coach allegedly was dealing drugs and sexually exploiting children by viewing child pornography online,” acting state Attorney General John Hoffman said.

An attorney for JB could not be reached for comment. Authorities said he has been an employee of the East Orange School District since 2000. The most recent available state pension records indicate JB earned $86,592 in 2013.

The superintendent, Gloria Scott, declined to provide any personnel information, including what action, if any, had been taken, whether he had been suspended, or whether he would be fired.

“I am aware of the situation and I am cooperating fully with the authorities,” Scott said in a statement. “We cannot share any personnel information.”

She added the district would be communicating with parents, students and teachers.

The state public records law requires public agencies to release certain personnel information including an individual’s name, title, position, salary, payroll record, length of service, date of separation and the reason, and the amount and type of any pension.

When presented with the law, the district still declined to provide information about JB’s employment, but added he “will not be working” there “in any capacity.”

On the day of his arrest, police searched his home on Sheridan Avenue and examined his hard drive, finding several images of child pornography, authorities said. Two laptop computers, including one issued to JB by the school district, were seized, along with a desktop computer which JB allegedly could access in the high school athletic office.

Authorities said that, while executing the search warrant, police found a major “grow room” in JB’s home with approximately 40 marijuana plants, a special ventilation system, high-powered lights and chemicals used as part of the growing process.

They also seized seven handguns, four rifles, a shotgun and a homemade silencer from his home. Authorities, citing an ongoing investigation, declined to say whether JB created any pornography, or whether it included or was shared with students. They also declined to say whether he shared with or dealt marijuana to any students.

Yeah, you see it too ... it’s mostly crap charges at this point. Yes, he had a pretty big grow going on. But given the universality of pictures of naked people online, and how “slightly underage in this country” is of legal age in some other country, and how “porn” is a term subject to individual definition, I’m not really sure if the charge of “sexually exploiting children” is apt or not. It could be. The guy could be a big time pedo. He is the wrestling coach, and wrestling is creepy homo dominance shit in my opinion. With underage boys. Ewww. Or he could have a collection of titty pics from a few thousand selfies on social media. It’s not like anyone has to buy this stuff. So the “exploitation” angle could be pretty thin. I’m just saying. But he was a dumbshit for uploading from the school with his work email. How dumb is that? Middle school gym teacher career dumb?

OK, he’s gonna get burned for the grow room, but a good lawyer can plea this down. The guns can be completely legal, although the “homemade silencer” is going to hurt. But again, plea bargain time. Doesn’t sound to me like even the newspaper is buying the kiddie porn angle very much.

Drew shakes head at the stupidity of his fellow humans. And then the shocking truth hits him ... A junior high gym teacher earns EIGHTY SIX FIVE???? Horry Clap!!

I like to kill people ….  comment from a girl of 12

A few disturbing things that might cause the old RCOB to appear.

What a world we have.  Yes, I know, down thru the ages from one generation to another the cry goes out that the current one is decadent beyond all reason, and some previous one much better in many ways.  But today, I do honestly believe we have raised what the late author Philip Wylie called , A generation of Vipers.  Not to be confused with the later sci-fi book.

I have been reading newspapers from an early age.  Not because I was smart but because I was fascinated by the printed word and how writers expressed my world at that time.  I also listened avidly to the news on the radio and later TV.  And of course, the Gillette Cavalcade of Sports on radio and the boxing matches. Especially, most especially, when Willie Pep was fighting.

Well anyway. what I am trying to say is that with all my reading and listening and watching of later TV, the kinds of crime being done and the age of the monsters committing them, was nowhere near as young as they now appear to be.

A boy or group of boys as young as nine or ten committing rape of an 8 year old would certainly have made the headlines, just by the nature of the crime and the age of the vermin involved.  And that’s at the extreme edge of criminality, the lesser tho still unacceptable would be robbery and robbery with violence, again done by a much younger group.  Crimes by teens were not unheard of.  The news-makers in that group were generally Puerto Rican and Negro gangs, depending on the state and city. Italians also in some measure were heard from in NY.

Lately it hasn’t been simply a one off article about 8 year olds or 12 year olds.
These days, more and more very young girls, and white at that, are committing violent acts at a younger age. And they are not all from poor ghetto families with no education.  There are far different influences at play today, things the young are exposed to that we never were.  Heck. Porn?
I never heard the word at the age of 10 or even at 13. And I certainly would not have seen any.  Except once when someone showed me a cartoon, a cartoon mind you, that was .... well to be truthful somewhat interesting. But I didn’t even understand what I was seeing.

So ,,,, here are some examples. And these are only recent ones.

image

Because as she wrote, I like to kill people.  Two girls involved here.

Morgan Geyser and her friend Anissa Weier were both 12 when they were charged as adults with first-degree attempted murder
The girls told cops they attacked their friend to impress Slenderman
Preliminary hearing being heard to determine whether Geyser should be tried as an adult and not a juvenile

image

A LOT MORE TO SEE AND READ HERE

image

And here in the UK from a morning paper comes another story of yoots too young to face criminal charges and will if caught, get curfew instead of having a hand cut off.

At the age of eight, they do know better. Even in my day, a more innocent time for sure, by 8 we knew right from wrong. I think the biggest difference is that in my day, we worried about punishment which we were certain would follow.

So here we have two 8 year old thugs in training who it is reported, attacked and robbed an 80 year old woman as she got off a bus, in broad daylight.  They got her purse and made off, they have not been found yet but might well be, because at that age they are sure to brag to their friends. Unfortunately though, “children” under ten can not be charged with a criminal offense, and can only be given a curfew or a child safety order.  What a joke that is.  Where’s the lesson in that nonsense?

I say break a few bones and fix them so they won’t be physically able to rob anyone anymore. Ever.  Hey …. ya gotta start em young so they learn, and their friends can take note too.

And then there is this which reminds me greatly of a French TV series I have been watching.  Same thing, thugs on mopeds and very violent ones too, as well as affiliated girl gang as violent as the guys, and maybe more so.  To me, it isn’t just a TV crime drama.  It’s based on events that happen in real life.  I mean, when most of you like myself were in our teens or 20s, were there moped gangs running wild? There weren’t any mopeds I can recall. In this case, three scum get 23 years. But that isn’t 23 each. Where’s the justice in that?

Oh ... please forgive the digression but .... speaking of justice.  Hello and good wishes American taxpayers.

Bradley Manning now known as Chelsea, has been approved for a sex change operation.  You pay, you pay.  Warms the heart to know how compassionate our system is towards traitors.  ( vomit here)

Yo Chicago, Beat This

New York City: No Murders For 10 Entire Days!

Something to be proud of I guess. Out here in the almost-sticks of Clinton, we’ve had, um, I think it was one murder in the past 35 years. We don’t have NYC’s 10 million population either, so it’s all relative.

New York City, once notorious for high crime, broke a record on Thursday with no murders reported for 10 straight days, police said.

The historic calm achieved at 12:01 a.m. Thursday comes on the heels of a notable year - murders in New York City in 2014 fell to an all-time low of 328, the fewest since the New York Police Department started keeping reliable records in 1963.

“Everybody is behaving,” said Sergeant Daniel Doody of the New York City Police Department.

It’s also cold as Hell, and their guns could be buried under ice crusted snow drifts. If that’s the reason, then Boston ought not to have another murder before July or so.

High Times Come To An End

Let’s Play “Spot The Grow Room”

image

Netherlands police somehow manage to find attic marijuana farm in apartment complex. Gee, I wonder how?

Police in the Netherlands have swooped on a house in the town of Haarlem, arresting the owner for growing cannabis plants, after they noticed that his house was the only one in the street not covered in snow.

A dusting of snow covered all the roofs in the town, except for one.

Once inside, police found industrial-scale cultivation of cannabis, and the heat lamps used to nurture the plants.

After the raid in the town near Amsterdam on February 5, officers tweeted the photo of the house as a warning to other growers.

The Netherlands is known for its tolerant attitude towards personal consumption of marijuana. However, the Dutch government only tolerates the cultivation of up to five cannabis plants, and people are only allowed to carry up to five grams of weed (0.17 ounces) each.

Heat lamps? Are you kidding me? Who needs heat lamps when you’re using 1000W metal halide and high pressure sodium lights for 17 hours a day? Haven’t these guys heard about the LED revolution?

The previous week, officials had used the same technique to identify and raid a cannabis farm in the city of Zutphen, where they found a bedroom filled with 88 marijuana plants. Two days later, one person was arrested in Arnhem after police discovered a similar plantation.

It was not clear how much cannabis was seized in the Haarlem raid.
...
The technique is certainly not fail proof, however.

In 2009 police raided a home in Yorkshire, certain that the heat coming from the property was due to lamps for cannabis plants. Instead, they found a wood burning stove.

Next time stoners, set up your Grow in the basement!

Drugs are bad, m’kay?

Time To Move. Right NOW.

San Fran Cops Honor 10 Year Old Boy

Fairfield police last week recognized a 10-year-old boy and his father for courageous actions they took in September, police said.

Nathaniel Biggs was visiting the Cordelia branch of the Solano County Library on Sept. 15 when he saw a friend put a semi-automatic handgun into a backpack. When Nathaniel’s father Jason picked him up at the library, Nathaniel told his father about what he had seen, and Jason called Fairfield police.

Officers responded and located and detained Nathaniel’s friend without incident. Officers also located the handgun and a fixed blade knife and a Shuriken in the backpack of Nathaniel’s friend.

Police said because of the information provided by Jason and Nathaniel, police were able to recover an illegally possessed and stolen firearm.

On the one hand .... gosh, isn’t this great, kid helps stop the violence, because #kidslivesmatter. And so forth.

On the other hand ... little nanny state do gooder sells out his friend. How old do you think a 10 year old boy’s friends are anyway? 10? Maybe 12? Certainly not 24. Not with a backpack doing homework at the library. The friend was 11. With a gun, and a big knife, and a throwing star. Do you think that kid is still in jail? Hell no. And have you heard the expression “stitches for snitches”? Wasn’t it great of the police to publicly honor the kid and for the press to run the story with his name and photo? Just in case friend 11 didn’t figure out who outed him?
{ psssst, hey dad - what time is it? Time to move son, right the fug now! }

Says the police: Without their involvement, the firearm would not have been recovered and the child would have continued playing with it, possibly with disastrous results. This is a perfect example of what can be accomplished when alert citizens speak up and partner with the police department. Together we can make Fairfield a safer community!

Sorry to rain on your parade, but if the kid also had a big knife and a ninja star, there wasn’t any playing going on. Kid had a 3 layer plan to either fend off or deliver death. There’s a serious, serious problem here of some kind. Gangs, criminals, bullying, abuse, something.

Magazine Capacity Limits Might Have Killed Him

Store Clerk Takes On 4 Armed Robbers

Shoots 2, the others ran

A Tulsa liquor store clerk took on four masked men during an attempted robbery earlier this week, shooting and killing two and helping bring an end to a serial robbery ring.

The four assailants entered Ryan’s Liquor at around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the Tulsa World. One of the men, 27-year-old Brian Powell, pulled out a handgun and fired a shot upon entrance and demanded money.

But the store clerk did not comply. Instead, he pulled out a semi-automatic pistol and fired it, hitting and killing Powell and 16-year-old Kevin Dobbs.

A Tulsa man seven months shy of ending his probation for a prior larceny conviction is one of two men identified by police as being shot by a store clerk during a failed robbery attempt Tuesday night.
...
Police also announced the arrest of two men, 20-year-old Lakeit Thompson and 17-year-old George K. Williamson, in connection with the botched robbery attempt, as well as “other robberies.”

Thompson was being held Tuesday morning on six counts of robbery with a firearm, as well as two counts of attempted robbery, two counts of felony murder and a number of traffic complaints.
...
According to his arrest report, Thompson has been connected by police to eight separate robberies, the first of which happened Dec. 7. The circumstances behind each robbery were the same — multiple suspects armed with weapons entering a store and leaving with money.

Williamson was connected to three alleged robberies, according to his arrest report.

There’s your new MO. A whole damn gang of career criminals attacks a store at once. Better start training to be the next Jerry Miculek.

And yes, the gang of robbers looked exactly the way you think they looked.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
