Afghan Pizza Man Convicted In Britain

Londoners might be surprised to learn they have been getting their pizzas from a murderous Afghan warlord ....

imageimage(MIDDLE EAST TIMES)— Afghan warlord Faryadi Sarwar Zardad was sentenced to 20 years in prison by a London court on July 19 for torture and hostage-taking in Afghanistan in a landmark case for international law.

Zardad, 42, who lived in south London, had denied the charges, which included keeping a “human dog” to savage his victims. The ruling came as Afghanistan’s President Hamid Karzai met Prime Minister Tony Blair during a brief trip to London. In the first trial of its kind under a UN torture convention, Zardad, who fled to Britain in 1998 on a fake passport, was prosecuted at the Old Bailey even though he is not a British citizen and his crimes were committed overseas.

Treacy said he was sure Zardad had personally shot dead one man in the presence of his men. He was also present and knew what was about to happen when a bus containing men of different ethnic origins was shot up.

The British jury, who unanimously convicted the warlord on Monday, heard evidence of summary execution, the slaughter of 10 or 11 men in a minibus, and an old man imprisoned in a metal cupboard and whipped with a bicycle cable. The court was also told about the “human dog” kept by Zardad and his men, a man in chains who would be set on victims to bite them.

Zardad fled to Britain in 1998 to seek asylum after fighting both the Russians and the Taliban during Afghanistan’s civil war between 1992 and 1996. He ran a pizza take-out shop in Streatham, a suburb of south London, but two years later was confronted first by a BBC television crew and then by British anti-terrorist detectives.

Exactly how does one go about explaining in a job interview the career changes from warlord to pizza tosser to felon? This is one Barking Moonbat who needs to be hand-tossed and neatly sliced. Hold the anchovies, please.

Crazy?

The latest criminal defense plea: “Your honor, I was being particularly boisterous with that young boy because the voices in my head told me to.” Perry Mason unavailable for comment ....

imageimageTAMPA, Fla. (AP) - A teacher will claim she was insane due to emotional stress and did not know right from wrong when she had sex numerous times with a 14-year-old student, her attorney said Monday.

“What teacher in her right mind would do something like this?” attorney John Fitzgibbons said after a brief hearing for his client, Debra Lafave, a middle-school reading teacher.

The judge agreed to appoint two mental health professionals to evaluate LaFave. Prosecutors have said a state psychologist already determined Lafave was not insane, while one hired by the defense concluded that she was mentally ill.

Lafave’s trial was set for Dec. 5 on four felony counts of lewd and lascivious battery and one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition. Each carries a maximum 15-year prison term.

Fitzgibbons said plea bargaining broke down because prosecutors wanted Lafave to serve too much prison time, though he did not give details.

“To place an attractive young woman in that kind of hell hole is like putting a piece of raw meat in with the lions,” said Fitzgibbons. “I’m not sure she would survive.”

A state attorney’s office spokeswoman didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment.

The boy told investigators he and the teacher had sex in a classroom, her house and once in a vehicle while his 15-year-old cousin drove. He said Lafave told him her marriage was in trouble and that she was aroused by the fact that having sex with him was not allowed.

Melon Crime

It looks like the debut of Annoying Little Twerp as an SbB girl will have to wait. Sombody stole a shipment of fake melons she had ordered from Brazil. It looks like she’ll have to remain as chairperson of the I.B.T.C. fer now ....

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (Reuters) - Armed bandits in Brazil robbed a vehicle carrying more than 400 breast implants, officials said on Tuesday.

“It happened last week, but we only learned about it recently as our clients started complaining. It is the hottest period of the year in terms of implant sales,” said Margaret Figueiredo, director of silicone implant manufacturer Silimed.

A spokesman for the state Postal Service confirmed that assailants, apparently men, robbed the postal van with implants on Thursday night in Rio de Janeiro. Each Silimed breast implant costs nearly $400.

Just A Thought ….

imageimageIt just occurred to me that most of England’s intelligence services and police resources were probably concentrated up North in Scotland to protect the current G8 conference. With masses of liberal protestors showing up to stir up trouble, cause destruction and just generally try to make asses out of themselves, the British probably had no choice but to pull all available law enforcement and intelligence forces to Scotland.

This would have left London and other areas of England seriously under-staffed during the G8 meeting. This would also have been a prime time to set off bombs with the police and intelligence personnel far away to the North. I’m not what I consider a conspiracy nut but this just fits too perfectly.

Following this thought to its logical conclusion, I have determined that the liberal protestors and activists in Scotland this week were either (a) unwitting tools of the bombers or (b) direct accomplices in the bombing attacks. Either way, they deserve some heavy jail time. Neither the British nor the US can afford to continue coddling these mangy specimens who show up at important world meetings with their long hair, naked unwashed bodies and flaming hatred. I say we take back the rubber bullets the police have to “handle” these idiots. Give the cops some real bullets. Case closed.

What say you?

Fingernails On The Blackboard

Normally, I don’t comment on the so-called “sensationalist” stories that the mainstream media just loves to cover in excruciating detail. Take Michael Jackson .... please. Just kidding. I maybe spent a total of ten seconds watching news of his recent trial before I changed the channel. The ditzy “Runaway Bride”? Ditto. I figure the MSM will bore you all to death with these stories, which are to real news what a bowl of grits are to real nutrition.

Usually Fox News is pretty good about not driving us crazy with this crap but lately they have been piling on with all the rest. Case in point: the case of the missing Natalee Holloway who went partying with a bunch of strange kids on a small Caribbean island and wound up .... gone. Nobody knows where. Dead? Maybe. Off on a fling on another island? Maybe. Who knows. The Aruban government is trying to investigate this case the best they can, even calling in help from the “mother country”, The Netherlands.

Now to the point of this post .... I want the poor girl’s mother to just SHUT THE F**K UP AND GO SIT DOWN! I have a good idea how she feels but, dammit, this woman is starting to get on my nerves, like fingernails on the blackboard. She has pressured Alabama Senator Richard Shelby to pressure the Aruban government. She has made a complete ass out of herself on Fox News nearly every night during O’Reilly’s show and Greta van whatsername’s show. Somebody please put this woman out of my misery.

One final note: I’m from Alabama and I know this high school in Birmingham where this teenager went to school and I know the neighborhood where these kids live. This is pure upper-crust society in B’ham and folks there are used to getting their way. Need I say more ....?

To make a long story short, the people in Aruba are also getting fed up with this woman ....

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) - A latent but growing resentment here became evident for the first time when more than 200 people, some wrapped in Aruban flags, said they were incensed by statements made by the mother of a missing American teen.

Those assembled outside the colonial courthouse in this Caribbean capital Tuesday night said they fear their tiny island nation is falsely being portrayed as not doing enough to find Natalee Holloway, the Alabama girl who vanished May 30 on a graduation trip with her high school class.

Two brothers, Deepak Kalpoe, 21, and Satish Kalpoe, 18, who had been held as suspects were released Monday for lack of evidence. In a brief and tearful statement Tuesday, Beth Holloway Twitty, Natalee’s mother, accused Aruba of letting guilty people free. “Two suspects were released yesterday who were involved in a violent crime against my daughter,” she said.

“These criminals are not only being allowed to walk around among the tourists and citizens of Aruba,” she said, but there were no limits on where they could go.

The protesters took umbrage with those statements.

“Respect our Dutch laws or go home,” read one sign. “Innocent until proven guilty,” read another. One suggested the missing girl might not be dead but partying in Brazil or nearby Venezuela. There were complaints that some American television coverage unfairly depicted the island, which depends overwhelmingly on tourism, and as being crime- and drug-ridden.

Though poverty is widespread in the Caribbean, Aruba has an unemployment rate of less than 1 percent and one of the higher standards of living. And it has few worries. Tourism and a major refinery bring in the money. Diplomatic and defense needs, such as they are, are provided by the Netherlands.

M Diddy Raps With Her Posse

It’s lunchtime. Take a break and read how the rich criminals are so mistreated. Criminals like Martha Stewart, aka “M Diddy”. Yo Whazzup, M ....?

NEW YORK - Martha Stewart says in a new interview that her nickname in prison was M. Diddy, that house arrest is “hideous” and that her prosecution was about bringing her down “to scare other people.”

In the interview, Stewart tells Vanity Fair magazine she agrees with those who say her crime — lying about a personal stock sale — is far different from massive corporate scandals such as Enron, WorldCom and Tyco.

“Of course that is what it’s all about,” Vanity Fair quotes Stewart as saying. “Bring ‘em down a notch, to scare other people. If Martha can be sent to jail, think hard before you sell that stock.”

Stewart, 63, is serving a five-month term of house arrest at her Bedford, N.Y., estate that followed five months in a West Virginia federal prison. She is scheduled to go free early next month.

“I hate lockdown. It’s hideous,” Stewart tells the August issue of the magazine, on newsstands July 12.

Asked about the electronic monitoring device she must wear on her ankle — she has complained repeatedly that it irritates her skin — Stewart says she knows how to remove it.

“I watched them put it on. You can figure out how to get it off,” she is quoted as saying. “It’s on the Internet. I looked it up.”

Still obnoxious and arrogant as hell. Now I remember why I hate this beeyatch!

Another Murder In Paradise

Teenage American Girl Stabbed and Killed in Tobago

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (AP) - A 14-year-old American girl was stabbed and killed in a quiet seaside village on the island of Tobago, police said Saturday. Kitty Nichole Pete was killed late Friday night in the apartment she had been renting with her mother in Charlotteville, a village on the northeastern tip of Tobago, said police inspector Glen Sharpe.

Police were searching for a 22-year-old local man whom the landlord saw leaving the apartment with a knife. The landlord told police he went to the apartment after hearing screams and found Pete’s body on the floor. She had been stabbed in the eye and stomach. Police said they believe the girl had been dating the 22-year-old.

What kind of mother lets her 14-year-old daughter date a 22-year-old young man? Don’t answer that ....

Constitutional Question

Judith Miller of The New York Times and Matthew Cooper of Time magazine are going to go to jail next week for refusing to reveal the sources for their stories that caused the whole Joseph Wilson/Valerie Plame kerfuffle last year (if you haven’t been keeping up with current events, just go Google “plame"). The judge in the case has ordered the two reporters to reveal their sources in order to continue the search for truth in the trial (the “search for truth” is, after all, what justice is supposed to be about, isn’t it?). The two have refused, citing their “Constitutional right”.

To make a long story short, the two reporters are falling back on that old “Freedom Of The Press” lie that reporters don’t have to reveal their sources, according to the Constitution. I want someone to point out to me exactly in which article or amendment this “right” of the press is written down. To listen to the modern press, you’d almost think it came down from the mountain with Moses. Unfortunately, most of the modern press are heathen liberals who don’t believe in anything written in the BIble so that lets Moses off the hook.

In my humble opinion, what good is a so-called “press” or “media” if they don’t have to back up their stories with sources, bibliographies, references, etc. ? They can tell us anything and attribute it to “anonymous sources” or some raincoat-clad, disgruntled, mysterious government employee, code-named “Deep Throat” that they met in the dead of night in a parking garage somewhere. They can even make up crap or plagiarize other reports as Jayson Blair and others in the media have done lately. They can take as Holy Gospel a barely legible, forged document faxed from Kinko’s in Abilene and foist it off on us as “truth” (and then later, refer to it as “fake but accurate").

They have done all this and more .... and they have gotten away with it in the name of “protecting their sources under their First Amendment rights”. Pardon me, but if it smells like bovine feces, looks like bovine feces, tastes like bovine feces .... then it must be BULLSHIT! And the only constructive thing you can do with bullshit is spread it around the roses and let nature take its course.

WASHINGTON, June 29 - With mounting frustration and a hint of anger, a federal judge said at a hearing Wednesday that he would send two reporters to jail in one week if they did not agree to testify before a grand jury about their confidential sources in the meantime.

Lawyers for the reporters, Judith Miller of The New York Times and Matthew Cooper of Time magazine, said their clients would accept jail time rather than testify.

The judge, Thomas F. Hogan of Federal District Court here, added that he would also impose very large fines against Time Inc., in an effort to force the company to obey a court order directing it to turn over documents in the investigation.

A lawyer for Time Inc., Theodore J. Boutrous Jr., told Judge Hogan the company was still considering whether to comply with the order.

“We are grappling with those issues,” Mr. Boutrous said. “Time is part of a public company and has a deliberative process to work through these issues.”

The grand jury is looking into the possibly unlawful disclosure of the identity of a covert C.I.A. operative, Valerie Plame.

Judge Hogan expressed surprise that a public company like Time Warner, Time Inc.’s parent, would even consider violating a final court order. The Supreme Court turned down appeals in the case on Monday.

“The only way we operate in this society, in a democratic society, is by the rule of law and to have people obey court orders,” Judge Hogan said.

Patrick J. Fitzgerald, the special prosecutor in the case, said Time has no choice but to comply with the order.

“I don’t understand what Time can deliberate about,” he said. “They don’t have a right to break the law. We shouldn’t allow people to think that court orders are sort of optional.”

Blame It On The Hemadrones

imageimage
What is a “hemadrone”? it is a flesh-eating, subterranean-dwelling creature who comes above ground occasionally for entertainment. These beings like to pick on meth-addicts who are dunk on beer and strung out after a fight with their girlfriend. Their favorite hobby is jumping out of the bushes, yelling “BOOGITY-BOOGITY-BOOGITY” at the poor dopehead and then watching him crash his car. No, really ....

A California man facing life in prison for crashing his car into a UPS truck will not dispute that his actions resulted in the death of the driver when his trial opens Monday in Nevada County Superior Court.

Instead, Scott Krause’s defense will argue that the defendant believed he was trying to escape man-eating subterranean beings when he ran into Drew Reynolds’ truck on Jan. 6, 2004.

Krause has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to five felony counts, including first-degree murder, carjacking, and burglary, stemming from a string of alleged criminal activities leading up to the fatal highway crash.

In three court-ordered evaluations, the defendant stated he was fleeing subterranean beings he called “hemadrones” when he carjacked a commercial vehicle near a Nevada City, Calif., gas station and then crashed into Reynolds’ service vehicle.

“Everything had to do with his escape from the hemadrones,” said Nevada County District Attorney Michael Ferguson. “According to the defendant, he was afraid they were going to put him in cargo and ship him to China to be eaten.”

Calls to public defender Gary Gordon went unanswered.

The evidentiary burden will fall on the defense to prove that Krause, a known methamphetamine addict with a history of drug-related arrests, was suffering from a pre-existing mental condition that either prevented him from understanding the consequences of his actions or knowing the difference between right or wrong.

A psychologist testified in a preliminary hearing that when he examined Krause in 2002, the divorced father of two displayed signs of delusions and paranoid schizophrenia.

He also testified that for at least two years before the incident, Krause was using methamphetamine at least twice a day.

“This is purely a case about mental state,” Ferguson said. “Were his actions methamphetamine-induced or was he suffering from a pre-offense illness?”

At the time of his death, Reynolds, 34, was pursuing a degree in computer science from the University of Phoenix while holding a full-time job with UPS.

After Reynolds’ death, a $2,000 scholarship fund was established in his name for adults who are raising families while pursuing a college education at Sierra College’s Nevada County campus, from where Reynolds graduated.

Go read the rest at the link above. It’s from CourtTV. I can’t stop giggling at this ingenious defense tactic. You gotta be somewhat amused by a perp with this kind of imagination. If only he hadn’t killed a decent hard-working young man who really was working on a future .... as opposed to this dipshit.

The News Story With Everything

Great Caesar’s Ghost! This story has boobies, large amounts of cash, suspected drugs, plastic surgery, a lawsuit and the DEA. The only thing it’s missing is Michael Jackson ....

BOSTON - A Quincy woman who apparently stuffed $46,950 in cash in her bra before trying to board a plane to Texas for plastic surgery has sued a federal agency, demanding the return of her money.

The money was seized from Ileana Valdez, 26, after a security check at a metal detector at Logan International Airport on Feb. 3. Valdez told authorities she was heading to Texas for plastic surgery on her buttocks and breasts.

“I don’t know why she was carrying it (the cash) in her bra,” said Boston lawyer Tony V. Blaize, who filed the suit Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Boston on behalf of Valdez.

In her suit, Valdez said a male Drug Enforcement Administration agent told her she had a nice body and didn’t need surgery — and then seized the cash, claiming it was drug money.

Valdez, a single mother said in her suit that she has no criminal record and earned the money by selling her Dorchester business and two parcels of property in Boston’s Jamaica Plain section.

Anthony Pettigrew, a spokesman for the DEA in Boston, said he could not comment on the lawsuit. But he said federal asset forfeiture laws allow agents to seize suspected drug profits.

Extreme Makeover

Don’ mess wid da girls down at da Blalock Beauty College, sucka ....

imageimageSHREVEPORT - It was a beauty school knock-out.

An armed robber brandishing a revolver and some tough talk entered Blalock’s Beauty College demanding money Tuesday afternoon.

He left crying, bleeding and under arrest, after Dianne Mitchell (pictured at left), her students and employees attacked the suspect, beating him into submission.

Mitchell tripped the robber as he tried to leave and cried aloud “get that sucker” as the group of about 20, nearly all women, some wielding curling irons, bludgeoned him until police arrived.

“You can tell the world don’t mess with the women here,” said the 53-year-old who manages the Shreveport beauty school in the 5400 block of Mansfield Road.

Jared Gipson, 24, of Shreveport was charged with armed robbery, Shreveport police said. He will be booked into the City Jail once he is released from the hospital.

“He received several lacerations to the head and was taken to LSU Hospital in Shreveport,” spokeswoman Kacee Hargrave said. “Nobody else was seriously injured besides the suspect.”

After collecting any money the people had on them, the robber pushed one of the employees, Abram Bishop, into the back of the room.

“I thought ‘Oh my God, he’s going to shoot him,’” Mitchell said.

But instead the robber ran toward the front door to escape.

That’s when Mitchell raised her leg.

It was enough to trip the robber, who dropped the gun and tumbled into a wall.

Bishop jumped on the man’s back, driving him into the ground. Seizing the opportunity, Mitchell rallied her students.

“We moved some furniture after that,” she yelped with joy as she retold the tale.

Arming themselves with curling irons, chairs, a wooden table leg and clenched fists, the women attacked.

Blood and urine splattered from the victim; stains adorned the white paints worn by many of the beauty school students.

Crying in pain, the robber tried to crawl away from the students, Mitchell said.

“I grabbed his legs and wouldn’t let him go. I pulled him back. He wasn’t going to get up out of here and tell everyone he robbed us. When he came in here, he knocked down a beehive and sent the bees flying all over.”

Sharon Blalock, owner of the school, said she couldn’t be prouder of her students and employees. “They just whooped the hell out of him.”

Child Molesters In England

If you think we have problems with child molesters and sexual predators here in the US, you ain’t heard nothing yet. Our friends across the pond in Jolly Ol’ England are contending with a current rash of children being used as “human sacrifices” ....

Children are being trafficked into the UK from Africa and used for human sacrifices, a confidential report for the Metropolitan Police suggests.

Children are being beaten and even murdered after being labelled as witches by pastors, the report leaked to BBC Radio 4’s Today programme said.

Police face a “wall of silence” in investigations because of fear and mistrust among the groups involved.

It follows the case of a girl tortured by her guardians for being a witch.

Three people, including the girl’s aunt, were convicted of trying to “beat the devil out of” the un-named 10-year-old - originally from Angola.

The report was commissioned by the Met after the death of Victoria Climbie in February 2000 and because of concerns over so-called faith crimes.

The 10-month probe was also intended to be part of efforts to “open a dialogue” with Asian and African communities to prevent child abuse in the London boroughs of Hackney and Newham.

Information was gathered with the help of social workers, human rights lawyers and race relations experts from within these ethnic minority groups.

Today programme reporter Angus Stickler, who obtained the police report due to be published later this month, described it as “absolutely chilling”.

“The most gruesome details come from the African communities,” he said.

“This report talks of rituals, of witchcraft, being practised in churches in London. It is described as big business.”

It is indeed a barbaric world after all, isn’t it? Would somebody tell the Koombayah-singing leftists to get out of their pipe dream and help us stop this kind of thing? Please.

It’s All About The Money

Jennifer Wilbanks will have her movie deal after all, it looks like. Alert the media ....

‘Runaway bride’ inks deal with firm pitching movie
Officials who searched for her aren’t amused
Thursday, June 16, 2005 Posted: 5:33 AM EDT (0933 GMT)

ATLANTA, Georgia (AP)—“Runaway bride” Jennifer Wilbanks made a deal with a company that is pitching a movie about her life to networks—annoying officials who spent thousands of dollars searching for her.

ReganMedia, a New York multimedia company, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution for a story in Thursday’s papers it has acquired all media rights to the “life stories” of Wilbanks and her fiance, John Mason.

The company did not say whether any money had changed hands.

“I am looking forward to developing the scripted project with Wilbanks and Mason,” company president Judith Regan said in a statement. “Theirs is an unexpected and compelling story of love and forgiveness that has certainly taught me a thing or two.

Duluth spent nearly $43,000 to search for her. Wilbanks has repaid $13,249.

“It’s disturbing to me on a personal basis that she’s willing to profit from this, but there’s nothing I can do about it legally,” said Gwinnett County District Attorney Danny Porter, who pursued charges against Wilbanks.

And not one good movie has been made about our troops fighting in Iraq. Instead, we are flooded by Hollywood with more bad movies that no one wants to see. This is ridiculous and an insult to my intelligence. Leave your suggested titles for this movie in the comments.
