Sniff Sniff Sniff
Brian Suozzo voted with an absentee ballot in the Working Families Party primary on Sept. 15 because, as his application stated, he was “at home recovering from medical procedure.”
Jessica Boomhower’s application said she would be attending a “work conference in Boston.” Michael Ward couldn’t vote in person because he was “taking care of elderly parent.” Kimberlee Truell was on a “Bus trip to casino,” as was Miguel Vazques. The only problem with these absentee ballot records at the Rensselaer County Board of Elections in Troy, N.Y., is that they’re phony, voters and investigators say—and they’ve prompted what’s being called an unprecedented investigation of suspected voter fraud.
Thirty-eight forged or fraudulent ballots have been thrown out—enough votes, an election official admits, to likely have tipped the city council and county elections in November to the Democrats. Candidates would have been able to run both on the Democratic and Working Families Party lines in two weeks, and that could have given the Democrats in the general election.
A special prosecutor is investigating the case and criminal charges are possible. New York State Supreme Court Judge Michael Lynch ruled that there were “significant election law violations that have compromised the rights of numerous voters and the integrity of the election process.”
Among the reasons cited on the fraudulent forms for absentee voting: “traveling to Buffalo,” attending a “screen printing conference in Syracuse,” “working late shift,” “working construction,” and “home - ill.”
“Someone took my signature and voted with it and I felt extremely violated,” Suozzo told Fox News. He is a soft-spoken 28-year-old environmental engineer who says he never saw, let alone signed, the Working Families Party Absentee ballot application that carried his supposed signature. He was flabbergasted that someone would vote for him and submit it.
“The whole thing seems dirty to me,” Suzzo said. “You wonder how often this happens and people don’t get caught.”
“They tried to steal an election,” says Bob Mirch, the majority leader of the Rensselaer County legislature who suspected voter fraud and started the investigation after being alerted to a large number of absentee ballot application requests that were noticed by the Republican Board of Elections commissioner .
“Not only does it undermine the system, but if these people were allowed to do this, we could never have a fair election… I’ve been doing this for 35 years, when I saw this, it sends a chill through my body right now.”
Currently composed of some 30,000 members, the Working Families Party (WFP) is a front group for ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now). WFP functions as a political party in New York State and Connecticut, promoting ACORN-friendly candidates. Unlike conventional political parties, WFP charges its members dues—about $60 per year—a policy characteristic of ACORN and its affiliates.
According to the party’s website, WFP is a coalition founded jointly by ACORN, the Communications Workers of America, and the United Automobile Workers. However, ACORN clearly dominates the coalition. New York ACORN leader Steven Kest was the moving force in forming the party, and WFP headquarters are located at the same address as ACORN’s national office, at 88 Third Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.
An outgrowth of the socialist New Party, WFP was created in 1998. According to a 2000 article by the Associated Press, its objective was (and still is) to “help push the Democratic Party toward the left.” In pursuit of this goal, WFP runs radical candidates in state and local elections. Generally, WFP candidates conceal their extremism beneath a veneer of populist rhetoric, promoting bread-and-butter issues designed to appeal to union workers and other blue-collar voters, Republican and Democrat alike.
The Working Families Party benefits from a quirk of New York State (and Connecticut) election law which allows parties to “cross-endorse” candidates of other parties. Thus when Hillary Clinton ran for the Senate in 2000, she ran both on the Democratic Party ticket and on the Working Families Party ticket. Of the 3.4 million popular votes Ms. Clinton received from New Yorkers, the Working Families Party delivered 103,000.
The Working Families Party, in short, is not a political party in any normal sense of the term. It’s a complex tool for well-funded special interests looking to raid the public treasury. [ which translates as UNION CONTROLLED. And a big GUESS WHO is the main union that feeds them cash? You knew it! Got it in one: ]
Leading the donor pack was the potent health-care workers’ SEIU Local 1199, with more than $300,000—followed by the teachers unions, with $200,000.
And ACORN—itself a major recipient of union cash—has tremendous overlap with the WFP. The two share two Brooklyn office spaces, plus senior leadership: WFP Executive Committee Chairwoman Bertha Lewis also runs ACORN’s New York chapter.
So, rigged elections, fraudulent votes, big union money, shadowy behind the scenes groups, far left agenda ... all tied to Democrats. Par for the course. But this story is news because it looks like they’ve finally been caught red handed, and the ties go right back to the sources. Good. Jail the whole damn bunch.

How long until somebody with balls and a badge is going to step up and prosecute ACORN under the RICO act? This shit goes on in state after state. It’s organized nationally. It’s been going on for years. Decades even. Shut them down and prosecute them already.
And in the mean time, throw out the voter registration data in every state and do the whole thing over. In person. With a photo ID and a fingerprint. And no absentee ballots by mail ever again. If you’re going to be away, you show up at the county seat and cast your ballot before you leave. After showing your voter ID and further proof that you are actually you. And lets put some serious teeth in the penalties for fraudulent voting already. This is bullshit. And it can be stopped overnight if people have the will.

Another Commie in the White House
Caught this on Glen Beck this evening. Anita Dunn, White House Communications Director. Her greatest hero, the philosopher who inspires her all the time ... is Chairman Mao. Horry Clap.
Oh, Ms. Dunn gets inspired by Mother Theresa too. But apparently not enough to quote from her, or to even reference some act of hers.
How much room is left under that bus?

ONE FLEW OUT OF THE COO-COOS NEST? MUGGERS LESS THREAT THEN LITTER LOUTS?
![]()
![]()
![]()
![]()
Sure litter is serious. But what fool would suggest they are a greater threat then muggers?
How about a judge?
How about a commie judge?
Bingo.
The ex-communist tutor
Lord Justice Sedley is widely regarded as one of the most Left-wing of judges.
His Who’s Who entries, under recreations, have included ‘changing the world’.
The 69-year-old is a strong supporter of human rights, and spent his 28 years at the Bar working principally in the fields of civil liberties and discrimination law.
When he was appointed a High Court judge in September 1992 it was seen as a clear signal that politics should be no bar to promotion within the judiciary.
He has publicly questioned the supremacy of Parliament, suggesting it is gradually being replaced by a dual sovereignty, whereby government ministers are accountable politically to Parliament but also legally to the courts - and by implication to judges such as himself.
In the 1970s he was a tutor at the Communist University of London, a summer school organised by the Communist Party, which at its height boasted more than 1,000 students.
This jerk even looks like a goof ball but in fact he really isn’t stupid. And there’s the danger Brits have faced for a long time. Why they (Brits) have been so tolerant of folks like this and for so long, is quite beyond my understanding.
Be tougher on litter louts than muggers, says judgeBy James Slack and Matthew Hickley
Lord Justice Sedley proposes a £600 fine for litterers - more than double the average fine for assault.
![]()
Magistrates have been told to hammer litterers with big fines because environmental crimes are ‘arguably the gravest of all problems’ facing Britain.
Guidelines endorsed by a leading judge say courts should take a role ‘equal to Greenpeace’ in saving the environment and fighting against pollution and waste. They propose a fine of £600 for an offence such as not taking home rubbish created by a party at a village hall - more than double the average fine for assault - while dog foulers should be hit with £150 fines, according to the Magistrates’ Association document.
Such heavy fines for ‘environmental crimes’ compare with relatively modest court penalties for many serious criminals which see sex offenders whose crimes are deemed suitable to be punished by a fine pay an average of £285, along with £237 for violent offenders and £286 for fraudsters.
The handbook, written for JPs across the country, states ‘there has been some concern that the levels of fines and sentences given in environmental cases are not high enough’.
Observers said the guidelines showed how out of touch the courts have become with ordinary people’s values, and contrasted the ‘coercive’ approach of using harsh fines for littering with the ‘leniency’ routinely showed towards muggers and shoplifters.
In the foreword to the manual, Lord Justice Sedley writes: ‘The despoliation of the environment is arguably the gravest of all the problems we are going to hand on to our children and grandchildren.
‘All criminal justice is complicated. There are at least two sides to every story, and sentencers have to be alive to them all.’

LOYAL AMERICAN CHILDREN SING PRAISE TO DEAR LEADER OBAMA … some very bad stuff BMEWS!
I got this piece of sick stomach churning crap from James Delingpole who of course got it from another person. Love the way the blog world works, HATE the way indoctranation is taking place in my country. Do I still have one btw?
I LOVED President Reagan, I voted for him in Calif. as gov. and I voted for him as president and I’m sorry he couldn’t serve in office longer coz I’d have kept voting for him. BUT ... I would have been much embarrassed and unhappy if school kids were taught songs in his praise. No way. That smacks of something else altogether and this really bothers me. You guy may already know but for those who don’t, well, misery just loves company. Doesn’t it?
So here. You can be miserable with me.
This is what Delingpole had to say on the subject.
Next time my daughter comes home from school saying she has been studying Mary Seacole (again) for Black History Week, or compulsorily watching a video called An Inconvenient Truth or one her teachers has suggested she “Go Veggie” for a day, I shall play this video and be grateful for one small mercy:
No British primary school teacher, however rabidly left-wing and deranged (if that’s not a tautology?), is ever going to be coaching their class in a hymn of praise to Gordon Brown.
September 24th, 2009 Here’s some footage to gladden the heart: children at an elementary school in New Jersey being coached by their teacher to sing a song in praise of their Dear Leader. (Hat Tip: Steve Foley)
Once upon a time I worked with song writers and musicians in Nashville. Whoever put this together hasn’t got “IT.” That writing spark. Glad they don’t or this could be worse. They might buy their way onto Billboard.
Barack Hussein Obama
He said that all must lend a hand [?]
To make this country strong again
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama
He said we must be clear today
Equal work means equal pay
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama
He said that we must take a stand
To make sure everyone gets a chance
Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama
He said Red, Yellow, Black or White
All are equal in his sight
Mmm, mmm, mm!
THIS IS AS VAPID AND TALENTLESS AND TOTALLY STUPID AS WE SHALL OVERCOME. THAT OTHER TUNLESS DIRGE FROM THE LEFT.
I couldn’t even listen or watch the whole thing. While you’re viewing this I’m off to find an Alka Seltzer.

OBAMA TELLS UN AMERICA IS READY TO WORK WITH IT AGAIN …. I THINK I MISS BUSH
I think the regulars here know exactly how I feel about the United Nations, so I can only see this as a bad omen. I don’t want us to work closer with those gas bags. I want us OUT of that damned body. Not in my lifetime but I can hope.
Anyway, that’s how the headline read today. I wonder if working closer to those $£!!:(**&^% will cost us any of our sovereignty as the EU has cost the UK. I know it isn’t exactly the same but ... but it’s about in the same league.
US President Barack Obama is preparing to address the world at the UN General Assembly in New York on his ambitious foreign policy plans.
By Our Foreign Staff
Published: 10:48AM BST 23 Sep 2009
“Around the world, even as we pursue a new era of engagement with other nations, we are raising a broader engagement, new partnerships between societies and citizens, community organisations and businesses,” he said.
“We have been speaking directly to people around the world, including our friends across the Muslim world, with whom we launch new beginnings based on mutual interests and mutual respect.”
“This spirit of partnership is a defining feature of our foreign policy.”
Yes, this is a very short post and you can read more at http://www.telegraph.co.uk/world
I really hate the thought of “working closely” with any of those mentioned. Set the blood to boil.

How conservative pranksters made idiots of Obama’s favourite left-wing charity .
Perhaps some of you have already seen this. Lyndon did and passed it on to me. I missed it coz I didn’t check everything, every day as I promised myself I would do.
So,, H/T to LYNDON and thanks again.
This is good folks. Really good. The reporting and the writing. What’s bad of course is the subject.
There were a number of comments on the site as always, but this one in particular (Thanks again to Lyndon for directing me there first) is of huge interest and so I’m posting it as well for all to see.
My postings might be light today. Will have to see as day goes on.
I have written a lot on other blogs about voter fraud. That the biggest fear of all is that future elections have been irretrievably rigged. That fear comes from knowledge of the years-long and completely insidious George Soros financed effort to elect far left secretaries of state. Secretaries of State for the individual states are the officials who are in charge of the voter rolls, policing the election voting venues and doing the vote count. This is the single official most able to rig elections (Al Franken, anybody?). And the single high state official most unknown to and uncared about by the public. So it doesn’t take much to get in a far left candidate, since very few in the public pay any attention.
How does this fit in with ACORN? Well, have we all noticed that ACORN has been hired for voter registration in all the states? And, until yesterday, had we noticed that ACORN was going to do the next census count? Do we all realize that not only does that census count control where government moneys are disbursed, but also that population count also is used in figuring the boundaries of Congressional districts. Did we have any concern that for the first time ever, former ACORN-lawyer President Obama has pulled the census count out of the Department of Commerce into the White House?
Call me crazy, but that sounds like a scheme to perpetrate massive vote fraud to me. (If there is a particular reason for having the census in the White House, the President hasn’t explained. And of course the press hasn’t asked.)
In the previous thread I listed many of my concerns about Obama. The census and election rigging should have been on that list, and probably as the biggest concern of all.
Incidentally, as of last night, the film maker may be subject to charges in the State of Maryland where it is illegal to tape record (i.e., the audio on the camera) someone without their consent. Don’t know how that will play out.
One last thing: my strongest reaction at seeing the ACORN videos was surprise that the ACORN employees were so knowledgeable and smart at gaming the system. I am a lawyer (who doesn’t practice and hates the litigiousness of society and the whole trial lawyers-tort bar - so don’t yell at me). So as I watched the videos, I kept thinking that those ACORN employees missed their calling and should have gone to law school!

Just seeing the name, George Soros, makes me see red. No pun intended. That foreigner who has done so well for himself on our shores has been a recognized danger to America and has worked actively against the USA for years, is still alive and breathing and living well. WHY?
Why has he been allowed to continue his unwelcome breathing? Can’t someone, somewhere nail that bastard? Guess not or it would have been done by now. Darn!
How conservative pranksters made idiots of Obama’s favourite left-wing charity ACORN
By James Delingpole
September 14th, 2009
The TelegraphA skinny white prostitute and her pimp turn up at the office of Barack Obama’s favourite US “poverty action” charity ACORN (Association of Community Organisations for Reform Now). They want advice on a few problems, like how best to bring over a “couple” of - well, 13, actually - underage girls from El Salvador to work in this brothel they’ve got planned, without attracting too much heat from the authorities. How can they get a mortgage, how should they deal with their tax affairs, how do they legitimize their immoral earnings and so on?
ACORN’s expert advisers are more than happy to oblige, as this hilarious video - first posted at the BigGovernment site - reveals.
Hilarious because, of course, the footage is a stitch-up. It was filmed with a hidden camera and acted out by two very brave young US investigative journalists - Hannah Giles and James O’Keefe, keen to expose the dubious moral standards of the radical left organisation. (Using methods not unakin to those advocated by Obama’s preferred leftist agitator Saul Alinsky)
Since then they have struck twice more. First at one of ACORN’s Washington DC offices. Most recently in New York - where, among the advice they were given was to hide their illicit gains in a tin and bury it in their back yard.
A neat little scoop which has already caused several heads to roll at ACORN, and, as Toby Harnden reports today has led the US Census Office to break its controversial links (for chapter and verse see Stephanie Guttman’s blog on this) with the notorious organisation. But is it really any more significant than that?
Well, of course, those on the liberal-left would have you believe not. It’s just another of those typical right-wing smear campaigns that conservative “nut jobs” like Glenn Beck and Andrew Breitbart have so cynically concocted to discredit Democrats in general and the saintly Obama in particular.
Naturally I beg to differ. As something of a professional conservative nut job myself, I find that one of the hardest struggles of my daily existence is persuading the world that I’m not in this game just to be wilfully contrarian and I’m not in it because I’m a heartless, evil bastard who is never happier than when crushing the aspirations of the poor, the disabled or anyone from an ethnic minority.
The reasons I’m a conservative are a) because I do care actually and b) because I’ve seen the alternative and it sucks.
For a shining example of b) look no further than these ACORN video exposes, which show exactly what’s wrong with practical socialism. 1. Big government takes your hard-earned money. 2. It spends on it an organisations like ACORN so rotten to the core and with values so inimical to your own, that frankly it would easier if you’d taken 40 per cent of your income in a big suitcase down to the nearest housing project, allowed yourself to be mugged - and cut out the middle man.

THE CHECK’S IN THE MAIL. NO IS ISN’T. IT’S IN THE GUTTER AS POSTAL STRIKE WORSENS.
I had not intended to run another strike story first thing in the morning but here we are.
America take note. Please!
This may be a boring story for you but there surely is a lesson here. And it’s very well expressed by Lyndon so TAKE HEED AMERICA.
Once they get their foot in the door the commies are very difficult to get out. You end up with “Conservatives” like you have in England, who are too scared to impose real conservative values because so many of the population are sucking at the government tit.

Your post is in the gutter: Strike-hit Post Office managers sort mail on the pavementBy Christopher Leake
Last updated at 8:07 AM on 13th September 2009Sacks of letters and parcels have been left lying in the gutter after Royal Mail chiefs secretly drafted in managers in a desperate attempt to clear a huge backlog of mail caused by postal strikes.
In a scene that evokes memories of the ‘winter of discontent’ 30 years ago – when Left-wing strikers brought the nation to a virtual standstill – a public service is yet again being reduced to chaos by militants determined to disrupt everyday life.
This was Worple Road, Wimbledon, South-West London, yesterday as volunteer postal managers – among thousands across the country – were forced to offload mail into the road because the Royal Mail delivery office 100 yards away had been shut down after a walkout by postal staff.
![]()
Working next to suburban flats and offices, the managers, wearing orange reflective vests, removed mail on to the pavement from the vans and 6ft-high steel sorting trolleys before delivering it to local addresses.
The scene was captured on a mobile phone camera by Brian Narborough, of nearby Raynes Park.
The 60-year-old retired golf club steward said last night: ‘As I drove past, I could hardly believe what I was seeing. These postal people were throwing the mailbags over their shoulders and into the street from the vans. It’s not what you expect in the middle of a suburban street at a weekend.
‘It’s hardly secure, either. I thought the idea of the mail was that it was delivered to you safely. No wonder it’s late arriving.
‘It really took me by surprise to see all that post in the street. It certainly explains why I’ve been waiting so long for my post when it’s strewn all over the place like that at 11 in the morning.
The postal service around here has been terrible for a couple of weeks now. We had no post at all some days last week. It is just awful that it has come to this.’
The Wimbledon delivery office in Cranbrook Road was one of 14 Royal Mail depots around Britain yesterday where managers were being used as strike-busters.
Staff sort the piles of mail in the street for deliveryThere are more than 14,000 delivery and sorting offices throughout the country, delivering over 75million letters and parcels a day.
Royal Mail bosses insist that more than 90 per cent of mail is being delivered. But a series of one-day strikes by 20,000 members of the Communication Workers Union – aimed at causing maximum disruption with minimal loss of pay – have brought chaos to the postal system in the past fortnight.
This will hugely embarrass Gordon Brown, who on Tuesday will tell the TUC conference in Liverpool that Government and leadership are about making choices ‘in the best interests of the country’. He will also admit that Britain’s road towards recovery is ‘still fragile and not automatic’.
The union claims that its series of rolling walkouts has paralysed parts of the network, causing a backlog of 20million items in London, with some families not receiving their post for ten days.

Discriminattion against Britain’s middle class a top government priority says minister
Oh yeah. Think I’m joking?
BMEWS’s Lyndon can tell you lots more about this comrade commie-sar but this article will say lots till he does.
I’ll never understand the ppl who come from the backgrounds they do, especially the more wealthy, who turn around and then want to destroy the class they come from. So often the ones with a bit of cash seem embarrassed by their wealth and insist on apologizing for it. Jerks!
Anyway, this isn’t funny as Britain sinks more into the socialist red swamp.
Harman puts class war at top of the agendaBy Ian Drury
Last updated at 1:39 AM on 09th September 2009Harriet Harman will vow to press ahead with plans to make every authority legally bound to close the gap between rich and poor.
Proposals which would effectively force public bodies to discriminate against Middle Britain will be a top government priority, Harriet Harman will say on Tuesday.
Labour’s deputy leader will vow to press ahead with plans to make every authority legally bound to close the gap between rich and poor.
Privately-educated Miss Harman - the niece of a baroness - will say schools, hospitals, town halls, and the police would have a ‘socio-economic duty’ to boost services in deprived areas.
She will renew her pledge at an event on how to implement the proposals, which have been nicknamed “SOCIALISM IN ONE CLAUSE.”
Under the Equality Bill, which brings together nine major laws, policies that currently consider race, age, gender, disability and sexuality are to be extended to include social background.
Miss Harman, the minister for women and equality, will say: ‘We have put in as clause one in the Equality Bill a duty to narrow the gap between rich and poor.
‘Evidence underlines that whether it’s educational attainment, income, or housing, those from the most deprived backgrounds tend to do worse.
‘This is what the socio-economic duty is designed to challenge.
‘So the new duty will attack one of the most fundamental and stubborn of all the determinants of inequality and ensure public bodies take the action they can to tackle it.’
Under the plan, NHS trusts will be required to focus services, such as anti-smoking clinics, at those in run-down areas where smoking rates tend to be higher.
Education authorities will be expected to draft policies which stop children from poorer backgrounds missing out on the best schools.
Police patrols would be targeted at deprived estates instead of the suburbs.
Transport bosses would be ordered to provide free shuttle buses between hospitals and deprived neighbourhoods where there are few buses and low car ownership rates.
But critics warn the better-off would see a squeeze on their access to everything from healthcare to school places.
They warn it could further entrench class differences and lead to an explosion in discrimination claims.

Have no problem helping those in honest need. But while some things (like communism) may look good on paper and well meaning folks chip in and do their best, when a comrade like Harman suggests insists on a series of ‘solutions’ it’s time to watch and question. Not that folks will all like the answer.

The inconvenient truth about ozone-puncturing , Did someone mention climate change?
I’d subscribe to this newspaper for Richard Littlejohn alone. Sure, can see on line for free. But I’ve a long addiction to actual print on paper, with which I can curl up on a sofa or in bed. Even with a laptop it is not as comfortable. So then ... even for Americans this may prove an interesting bit of reading.
I do not recall any major paper I ever read in the states, that calls a spade a spade in quite the way Brit papers do. Or at least some journalists, like Littlejohn.
I enjoy the invective and the raw insults which trust me, are well deserved. And not just because they are directed at the liberal left. The jabs are well founded and hit the nail dead center.
In the great debate about nonexistent global warming, this freeloading, flatulent, frequent-flying fool is about as relevant as the polar bear on Fox’s glacier mints.
Two Jags is Littlejohn’s name for the former fat head deputy PM, John Prescott. Brits are still paying dearly for things he set in motion some yrs ago.
Currently, he’s reincarnated himself as a climate change guru and devoted follower of Al Bore. So that alone tells my American friends something about two jags. Right. he owns two.
Initially, I was only going to post a few lines by Littlejohn. But then couldn’t see how I would do that as everything here deserves to be posted and read.
The inconvenient truth about ozone-puncturing Two Jags
By Richard LittlejohnThe preposterous figure of Two Jags has apparently been reincarnated as something called the Council of Europe’s ‘rapporteur’ on climate change. That’s a new one on me. Wasn’t the dwarf in Time Bandits called Rapporteur?
![]()
I’ve no idea what a rapporteur does, but I would imagine it involves a lot of first-class air travel, five-star hotels and lobster suppers. There’s probably a bird thrown in, too.
Two Jags is flying to China this week to deliver a lecture on global warming. That’s right, he’s jetting halfway round the world and back to talk about the need to cut carbon emissions.Don’t these people have any idea how ridiculous they are?
What astonishes me is that anyone, especially in my trade, takes him seriously. Two Jags is a circus act. Come to think of it, the dwarf in Time Bandits had considerably more gravitas than Prescott.Yet, in some quarters, he’s treated as a proper person. Yesterday’s Independent carried an interview with Two Jags, in which he announced that Europe’s target of cutting emissions by 80 per cent was nowhere near tough enough. The paper even ran an editorial praising Prescott’s authenticity.
The only thing authentic about this old fraud is his ocean-going, ozone-puncturing hypocrisy and self-importance.I didn’t christen him Two Jags without reason. This was the man who insisted on having not one, but two ‘gas guzzling’ limousines.
He had his wife chauffeured 200 yards along the seafront at the Labour conference so her hairdo wouldn’t get windswept. Pauline’s creosote-thick hairspray has probably done more damage to the atmosphere than a fleet of SUVs.Two Jags took a helicopter back to central London from the rugby league final at Wembley and commandeered an RAF flight to turn on the Blackpool illuminations.
After giving a speech on the importance of public transport to the railwaymen’s union in Scarborough, he made an ostentatious display of boarding a train home.He then got off at the next station, where his driver was waiting with the Jag to convey him back to London in air-conditioned, eight-cylinder, 15-miles-to-the-gallon luxury.
Once he returns from China, he will embark on a tour of Britain, lecturing schoolchildren about global warming. We can assume he won’t be travelling by bike.
When he was ‘in charge’ of the environment, he was so concerned about the delicate eco-balance that he ordered tens of thousands of houses to be built on flood plains.Yet now we are asked to believe that he is a born-again Al Gore. According to the Indy, he is the brilliant global player who brokered the Kyoto deal in 1997 and ‘is now returning to a major role in climatechange politics’.
All you need to know about the Kyoto ‘deal’ is that the rest of the world ignored it, while here in Britain it has been used as a catch-all excuse for everything from the extortionate tax on petrol to fining people £500 for putting out their dustbins on the wrong day.In one sense, I suppose you could argue that Kyoto was a success, since the world has actually been getting colder over the past decade, despite China opening a new coal-fired power station every five minutes.
That inconvenient truth has not deterred the climate-change industry-from cranking up the rhetoric, inventing ever-tougher targets and dreaming up an exciting range of new rules, fines and punishments.Britain’s ridiculous obsession with ‘man-made global warming’ has prevented our building a new generation of power stations.
As a result, we are facing the looming prospect of rolling power cuts in the not-too-distant future.
But you won’t find a forest of windmills in the back garden of Two Jags’ turreted mansion.Just as Al Gore consumes enough electricity to power a small town and flies by private jet to deliver his lavishly rewarded pieties on polar bears, so Two Jags, too, thinks that cutting your carbon footprint is for the little people.
This week, The Guardian - which is The Independent with adverts - carried a spread about everyday people who were doing their bit for the planet.
They boasted about how they were going to eat more root vegetables, wear thicker undies and travel by train not car.A more self-righteous, self-flagellating bunch you’d be hard-pressed to find outside of, er, the pages of The Guardian.
But even though I think they’re all barking mad, at least they are prepared to make some kind of self- sacrifice in pursuit of their quasi-religious crusade.
Two Jags was conspicuous by his absence. While those poor, deluded saps are turning down the thermostat, shivering in their thermals and eating their own toenail clippings, you won’t catch him chowing down on turnips or taking a slow boat to China. Our esteemed ‘rapporteur’ will relax in the rear seat of his limo or at the front of the plane, tucking into the finest food flown in from around the world. And to hell with the ice caps.
He will continue to leave a trail of yeti-sized carbon footprints as he tours the globe lecturing the rest of us on how we’re all responsible for razing the rainforests.
In the great debate about nonexistent global warming, this freeloading, flatulent, frequent-flying fool is about as relevant as the polar bear on Fox’s glacier mints.
FYI: The Guardian is a VERY LEFT and VERY LIBERAL paper and follows the party line, without any questions.
Comrade Commie-sar Prescott, a very wealthy man himself after a lifetime of union activity and politics ...
has in recent years called for a culling of the rich. Not in those words of course but pretty damn close, insisting that welfare housing needs to be set up in more afluent areas so that the ppl enjoying the fruits of their own labor MUST live among the less fortunate. Except of course for Comarde Prescott.

“Stay away from my kids…”
I’ve been trying to catch up on my 24/7 Rush Limbaugh podcasts.
The first hour on 24Aug09 Rush carried the audio of this Marine’s challenge to his congressman. His name is David Hedrick and he really made plain what is at stake in government ‘deathcare’.
Honestly, when ARE our elected officials, from Obama on down, going to fulfill their oath of office?

ALL GLORIOUS COMRADES TAKE NOTE. ATTN PLEASE WHILE EUROPE PRONOUNCES
Stupid fuckin socialist dipshits!
PUBLIC URGED TO SNOOP ON BLUB SHOPS
THE public has been urged by the govt. to inform trading standards officers about shops that continue to sell traditional light bubs banned by Europe.
From Sept. 1st it will be illegal to make or import coventional pearl or frosted bulbs of any shape or wattage.
All traditional incandescent bulbs of 100watts will also be banned. They will be replaced by energy-saving bulbs.
But it is thought that consumers still prefer the traditional type because of the apparent poor quality of light from the new bulbs.

Well duh. Who pays any attention to the consumer when the eu speaks?
note to p. BUY another hundred bulbs today.
ON the other hand.
‘Green’ Germans hoard traditional bulbs to beat ban
By David Derbyshire
Last updated at 1:34 AM on 24th August 2009Germans have been stockpiling vast numbers of energy-hungry lightbulbs
Germany’s green credentials have long made it the spiritual home of tree-huggers across the world.
But those who actually live there seem reluctant to embrace the eco-warriors’ latest symbol - the energy-saving lightbulb.
Germans have been stockpiling vast numbers of old-fashioned energy-hungry lightbulbs ahead of next week’s EU ban on many of them.
Sales of conventional incandescent bulbs shot up 34 per cent in the first six months of this year as consumers hoarded the dwindling supplies.
In most other European countries, sales fell over the same period. In Britain, where big retailers introduced a voluntary ban on 100 watt bulbs in January, sales are down by a fifth.
Brussels is banning all pearl or frosted traditional bulbs and clear 100 watt bulbs from September 1 as part of its drive to cut carbon dioxide emissions and tackle climate change.
Stocks are expected to run out in most towns by the end of next month, forcing householders to buy energy-saving compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) or low-energy halogen bulbs.
The figures highlighting Germany’s unwillingness to switch to CFLs have surprised some in a country with such a strong green movement and which brought the world the eco-friendly repairable Birkenstock sandal.

OH LOOK THERE … A NAZI CAR. BNP opposition never stops even when the claim is false.
I was planning on closing for the night. Been a very long day. But then I caught this story and just had to post it as an example of the kind of BS we find so often.
The fellow in question is a member of the BNP. Considered to be a far right and Lyndon might even call a fascist party. I’m not questioning any of that.
But look how far the opposition is willing to go in their efforts to stifle this group. Or make a case against one of their leaders where there is no case at all.
Attack em on their platform. Show others where and why they’re wrong. Make public in print factual statements of the BNP if you want to show them up.
But this sort of invention of an issue is so bogus it defies description. And it’s so typical of so called liberal critics.
The license plate on the car this guy bought a few years ago came with the car. It is not a vanity plate. Ah but .... an opposition councilor happened to see the plate and naturally screamed .. N A Z I !
That’s what gets me. Where? Where does this plate say Nazi? Even the newspaper headline is very misleading.
Misleading ? It’s BOGUS!
The BNP councillor who drives a car with ‘Nazi’ number plate
![]()
A senior British National Party member has infuriated his opponents by driving in a car with a number plate that resembles the word ‘Nazi’.
BNP councillor Julian Leppert arrives at meetings in his black Ford Focus with a registration NA51 ZCY.
But the rising star of the far-right wing party insists he had no idea the number plate looked like ‘Nazi’.
Cr Leppert insisted that it was not a personalised number plate. ‘I needed to buy a car in a hurry a couple of years ago and found one for sale online.
‘The number plate was blacked out so it wasn’t until I arrived to pay that I saw it.’ Julian Leppert joined the BNP in 2003 and won a seat on Redbridge Council
He said had he known, he ‘probably would never have bought it’.
‘I am planning to sell the car now as the other councillors seem to want to make a political point. I find that pretty cheap,’ Cr Leppert told the Daily Mirror.
But opposition councillor Veronica Cole was not impressed.
‘When I first saw the number plate on his car I couldn’t believe my eyes. It is sickening and appalling,’ she told the newspaper.
Now I don’t know about you folks out there but as far as I’m concerned, I can see thru this slag Cr. Cole like a window. She’s was looking for something and she thought she found it. An issue. I don’t believe she thinks it’s “sickening” or “appalling.” I think she thinks she’s discovered a club with which to batter a BNP leader. Period.
The 42-year-old postman from Loughton, Essex, joined the BNP in 2003. He was later elected to represent Hainault ward on Redbridge Council.
In 2004 he stood as the party’s London Mayoral candidate against Ken Livingstone.
He said in a speech: ‘I don’t care about being called names or being called politically incorrect. I have to stand up and tell the truth because my country is at stake.’
When BNP leader Nick Griffin was attacked by anti-fascists throwing eggs during his visit to London in June, the loyal Mr Leppert stepped in to shield him.
Here’s what one commenter has had to say with regard to that number plate. It’s quite instructive.
N = North
A = Newcastle
51 = Year 2001So, a large number of cars registered in newcastle in 2001, will have the prefix NA51 and most people wouldn’t have made the connection to the word Nazi. Opposition councillor Veronica Cole is an idiot.
I am not a BNP supporter.
- Matt, Sussex, 10/8/2009 11:34
If the opposition to this party can’t do better then this, if they can’t do better then throwing eggs at an elected (legally) official, and if they can’t find a better way then shouting down their opposition and not allowing them the free speech they claim for themselves, then the BNP in the end will prosper.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
It's been a long strange trip without you Skipper, but thanks for pointing us in the right direction and giving us a swift kick in the behind to get us going. Keep lookin' down on us, will ya? Thanks.
- Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
- Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
- Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
