The Alamo

Have you ever wondered what the defenders at the Alamo really thought about what was going on? Troops in Iraq recently had an opportunity to find out. Here is one soldier’s journal of recent events in Kut. A female soldier. Who, in my opinion, should never have been there in the first place but who was, thanks to Bill Clinton’s 1994 executive order that allows women into combat positions. The female troop who tells this story is a brave soldier and I have great respect for her.

But consider this: it’s bad enough that our sons have to fight and die in these wars to defend our country but putting our daughters on the front lines as well does absolutely nothing to enhance our combat capabilities that is not outweighed by the social horror we will experience when we see our women coming home in body bags. War is a bloody, dangerous experience and as this soldier found out, all kinds of things can go wrong.

It’s not about “equality” or whether women are as good as men when it comes to combat. No, the truth is that the Moonbat minority out there won’t be happy until they see women thrown into the meat-grinder that is war. This is wrong and they know it.

All things being equal I would much prefer to never be in a combat situation. I’m absolutely certain every veteran feels the same way. So why do we need women in boots on the ground getting shot up and bombed? We don’t. Only the Liberal Left wants to put them there .. in the name of “equal rights”.

How many of you women out there feel your “rights” are being violated if you are denied the experience of squatting in a muddy ditch, ankle-deep in your own piss and the blood of your buddy who is lying next to you dying as the mortar rounds come whistling in and a barrage of bullets fly over your head? Add to that picture the insane screams of the enemy approaching, warplanes flying overhead dropping heavy ordinance all around you and the sudden realization that you are probably about to die in a very painful manner. Do you really want to endure this just to prove you are “equal”.

Our women in combat have proven themselves to be very brave and courageous. I just don’t see the need to put them there.

As Carl von Clausewitz observed in his classic book “On War”, “war is merely the continuation of policy by other means.” In other words, war is basically an extension of politics. When political debate fails, war is the only option - other than complete surrender. Until the whole world learns how to get along with each other in a peaceful manner these are our limited choices. Yes, it’s insane but what other choice do we have?

The enemy in the current War On Terror has a simple policy position from which they refuse to deviate: kill Christians and Jews. They are not out to gain territory or money or power. No, they simply want to kill us. How can political debate deter them? It can’t. The only choice we have is to fight them .. or die.

But let’s leave our daughters out of it, OK?

Oil: to feed Iraqis or line UN pockets?

Back on March 1st I posted a comment about the NY Times and the Oil for Food Program in Iraq.

Over a month has gone by and still no huge public outcry over the despicably heinous actions of countries like France, Germany, Russia, etc. who KNEW Saddam was slapping surcharges on oil so he could build his palaces and NOT help his own people yet these same countries refused to put a stop to it. As a matter of fact, the BENEFITED from it as many millions and possibly BILLIONS of dollars were "given" to friends of said countries.

Kofi Anan continues strangely silent on this and is making no apparent overt moves to squelch these allegations.

Now, what kind of conclusions can we draw from this? I only have one: they are all a bunch of lying, deceitful, corrupt sons of bitches who have no interest in bettering anyone's life but who will stop at nothing to prohibit the United States from attempting to do so.

For more on this to include a short time line of what has happened so far, read this article from the WSJ. The editorial ends with this:

Surely every good liberal preaching the U.N.'s virtues will want to make sure this outrage never happens again.

What a hoot! Good liberal? HA! Based on what I've seen so far from the Clinton administration forward, the 9-11 commission, John F***ing Kerry and his sycophantic hordes (whores?) the only good liberal is a dead liberal. (OK, that may be a stretch but the point is made.) U.N. and virtue in the same sentence? Another hoot!

U.N.=P.O.S.O. (United Nations equals piece of shit organization)

Judicial meddling?

Here's a nice little story that the media has allowed to die on the vine but the implications of the actions involved are very serious.

It seems Senator Kennedy got memos from a couple of aides within his staff recommending he take "foot dragging" action to delay the confirmation of a judge in order to influence the outcome of a racial preferences case in Michigan.

We'd consider these actions to be unethical but when it comes to Kennedy, Kerry, Dummycraps, and liberals, et. al. ethics is NOT a word in their vocabulary. For a short reminder, just witness what they did during the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal. Even after Clinton got impeached, fined several hundreds of thousands of dollars AND disbarred they STILL say it is a vast right wing conspiracy! Amazing. What a bunch of toads!

Is it no surprise the media, the bastion of liberal, ethical behavior, looks askance at this?

Weird sex?!?!?!?!

Some of you get on your "high horses of righteous indignation" whenever I mention goats/sheep and Middle Eastern men in the same sentence as it relates to sexual relationships but I feel vindicated. It seems the practice is actually incorporated into their laws!

Only from Pravda can we get this and I believe they've hit the nail on the head regarding the Muslim propensity for fornicating with sheep and goats.

This one is ripe for all sorts of nasty/p(F)unny little comebacks to similar male/female activities. Go on, I dare you!

How many things wrong can you find in this news story?

RCA (Radio Corporation of America), which is now French-owned has manufactured a DVD player that strips out sex, violence and swearing for family viewing. The $79 player will be available at Wal-Mart soon. Several Hollywood studios have filed suit against RCA, claiming the device practices censorship.

MythBusters, Part I

Myth: Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
Fact: Bush never said there were WMD in Iraq. He said that intelligence sources and circumstantial evidence pointed to Iraq's ability to produce WMD and, based on past history, was fully prepared to use WMD. He also stated (with corroborating evidence) that Saddam Hussein was pursuing WMD.

Myth: The war in Iraq was fought for oil.
Fact: If so, where is it?

Myth: The "human shields" went to Iraq to protect innocent Iraqis from the US war machine.
Fact: Where are the "human shields" now that terrorists are killing Iraqis by the hundreds.

Myth: Democrats have a better plan to handle the terrorists.
Fact: What plan? All they have given us so far is criticism of the current plan.

Myth: Bush requested and received an early discharge from the National Guard so he could attend Harvard.
Fact: Actually, the above is true but at the same time Kerry requested and received early discharge from the Navy so he could run for Congress.

Myth: 9/11 could have been prevented.
Fact: Hindsight is always 20/20.

Myth: Islam is a "religion of peace".
Fact: In the 7th and 8th century Islam spread across the Middle East and into Europe by one means: war.

Myth: John Kerry knows how to create 10 million new jobs.
Fact: If so, tell us how you plan to do it, Mr. Kerry.

Myth: The Holocaust never happened.
Fact: Tell that to six million dead Jews.

Myth: The Israelis are oppressing the Palestinians.
Fact: Utter bullshit. The Israelis just want to be left alone.

Myth: Conservatives are evil liars and Liberals are honest progressives.
Fact: Conservatives can think and Liberals don't.

Myth: The Democratic Party cares about "the little guy".
Fact: If they really cared, there would be fewer "little guys".

Myth: If Kerry is elected President, the USA will return to peace and cooperation with other countries.
Fact: If Kerry is elected President, the US troops in Iraq will be placed under UN control, Iraq will turn into a hotbed of corruption and a bloodbath, taxes will be increased, the economy will crash, terrorists will strike the USA again, a plague of frogs, snakes and locusts will descend on the USA, oceans will dry up, Mars will invade, people will be afflicted with boils and leprosy and strange signs will be seen in the night sky. All before noon on inauguration day.

Now you know.

Whose side is Lurch on, anyway?

You really have to wonder if Kerry is an American or a Muslim terrorist.

Check out this comment he made when talking about that scumbag, al-Sadr, who, like the chickenshit that he is (like most Islamic terrorists) is holed up inside a mosque. Kinda reminds me of the little boy who'd pick on his sister and then go running underneath Mommy's skirt for protection when little sister came after his ass.

John F***ing Kerry actually endorsed al-Sadr (the guy that led the attacks against American civilians and soldiers which killed nearly 20 of them the past few days) by saying he was part of a legitimate voice in Iraq. When "speaking of al-Sadr's newspaper, which was shut down by coalition forces last week after it urged violence against U.S. troops, Kerry complained to National Public Radio, "They shut a newspaper that belongs to a legitimate voice in Iraq.""

Thanks, NPR, you worthless piece of shit, waste of airspace organization for not even calling Kerry on the carpet over such a remark. We know what side you're on, too, you bastards.

Kerry’s trail of treachery

I could not believe what I was reading as I got into this rather long expose on Kerry's involvement with and associations to various anti-war and anti-American groups.

The Winter Soldier Group takes the time to chronologically list all the events leading up to and subsequent to, John F***ing Kerry's joining VVAW. It also quotes him in one of his earliest flip-flops. When asked by Morley Safer if he wanted to be President, he responds in the negative by saying it was "a crazy question."

How can a man dirt ball like this even consider himself worthy of becoming President?

Even more troubling is how there are so many Americans with so much hatred in their hearts for President Bush that they would even consider voting for this scumbag.

That's the mystery that puzzles me. To think Americans would vote or a moonbat like sKerry and actually jeopardize the safety and security of this country while he turns it over to the control of the United Nations is beyond my capability to understand.

One last thing, I thought I hated Jane Fonda. But I hate her even more now. When POWs were returning to America, that c**t said they were, "hypocrites and pawns," insisting that, "Tortured men do not march smartly off planes, salute the flag, and kiss their wives. They are liars. I also want to say that these men are not heroes."

Bitch. Slut. Whore. Commie-pinko traitor.

ACLU loves terrorists

Two days ago I posted a rant about what measures President Bush's or Clinton's administration could take to prevent the terrorist attacks on the US.

I made mention of the fact that any measures put in place to ID suspects or take them into custody would be met by howls of outrage rom groups like the ACLU or CAIR.

Well, no sooner said than done, here's a piece about how the ACLU is now suing the government about its no-fly list.

Granted, I can understand it can be flawed and I am certain measures are being taken to repair the errors but to sue in order to abolish it is ludicrous. Just because a few people are inconvenienced does not mean we have a bad program.

Only goes to show that for the most part, the ACLU has no interest in US national security but more interest in furthering its leftist agenda.

Kerry flip-flops again!!!

Hooray! it did not take long but Lurch is already flip-flopping on promises he made at the Dummycrap convention.

This is great stuff! You think the press is covering it as such? Don't hold your collective breaths.

A few months ago sKerry promised huge new spending for universal preschool and coverage of the cost of college for students who provide national services.

Now, painting himself as a "fiscal conservative" (geez, this guy really is a verminous and despicable piece of shit with no obvious character attributes other than the ability to tell bold-faced lies.) he says he can't do all he promised and still balance the budget.

Get a clue, shitbird! The only promise you will ever keep is the one imposed on you by virtue of your humanity. You will die one day. That's a promise you can't make but one we can count on happening to all of us. And also the only consistent thing we can count on from you.

Punting Pets

I'll be the first to tell you I can not stand those little yippy, yappy, barky lap dogs. They get underfoot, run around making hellish barking noises all the time and in general, just being nuisances with useless existences.

I'll also admit that I've had moments when I've run upon these types of critters and thought, "if it does not quit barking I will punt it across the street."

Well, these hoodlums actually did so. Took this woman's dog and, according to an earlier article, place kicked it 30 yards. Nice kick!

Cruelty to animals? You bet. Should he have done it. Hell, no. Should he be punished? Hell, yes. After all, it's one thing to think about doing something and quite another to actually do it.

But a $25,000 bond? Give me a freakin' break! Drunks who run over HUMAN BEINGS get off with a lot less. And don't even give me any crap about, "ooooh, it's a poor little doggie. It can't defend itself." Well, neither can the kid who gets nailed by a drunk or abused by an adult yet those adults basically walk out with little or no bond.

I feel like kicking a small dog right now. Maybe a cat.

P.S. For those of you with thin skins, the above comment was sarcasm. GET OVER YOURSELVES.

can you pick out the irony?

With a tip o' the hat to Best of the Web for this one.

OK, take a minute and read the first four paragraphs of this article about minuteman missiles.

Go on. I'll wait.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

You back? Good.

Did you spot it?

No?

OK, I'll give you a clue. They are replacing all the engines in these missiles. All the engines have to meet new EPA requirements.

Still don't get it?

Alright, I'll give you another hint. What is in the tips of these NUCLEAR missiles and what is the ultimate objective upon launching one of them?

NOW do you see the irony?

I thought so. Good.

Teenage lesbians and smoking---a link?

I'd read about this a couple of days ago and originally thought, "hmmmm, if they want to do something so stupid while so young, then let them. They'll be dead that much sooner and have paid for their stupidity."

Then I read the Wall St. Journal's "Best of the Web" by James Taranto and came away with a different (but somewhat circuitously parallel view.) I agreed with the WSJ sentiment wholeheartedly and thought, "OF COURSE!!! If girls are experimenting with sex between 12 and 17 years of age then they WILL be prone to exposing themselves to other dangers and risks. Anyone (including boys---when will THAT study come out, eh?) prone to engaging in risky behavior such as sex at such an early age is also prone to engaging in other risky behavior like smoking. DUH!!"

Then I wonder how much money was spent on such a stupid study!

Hey, face it. It's natural selection at work but in a somewhat sad way. Whereas we could have understood people taking risks long ago in our evolutionary cycle because they were the adventurous sort and did not feel like being shackled by the rules and restrictions of existing society and were not aware of the consequences of their actions, these kids today DO know better. There is no lack of information and warnings broadcast at all levels (parent, school, TV, advertising, etc.) If it has not sunk into their little skulls it's because they think what they are doing is cool and they are immune from the consequences of their moronic behavior.

So we've done the circuit and are back to what I originally thought in paragraph one.

Nice circle.
