No Freedom Of Speech In Canada Anymore

It is now a crime in Canada to state in public that you consider someone's sexual orientation to be wrong, perverted or even just distasteful to you personally.

It's called Bill C-250 and here is what is wrong with it.

Yes, that's right folks. Our good friends up north have added "sexual orientation" to the list of protected groups covered under hate crimes laws. Sexual orientation includes homosexuals, pedophiles and deviants of all stripes. Now you can't say bad words about them. It seems Canada has decided Freedom Of Speech is something that has to give way to political correctness.

How much do you want to bet some slick lawyer here in the US is already drawing up the lawsuit and some Congressman is already drawing up the same law for us. The First Amendment is already dead in Canada. How long before it is silenced here? The slippery slope is getting greased fast with the slime of political correctness. Where do you take a stand? Will you wait until it's too late? Don't say you weren't warned ..............

Picture this:

You're walking down the streets of Toronto and you happen upon a grisly old fart buggering a young boy in an alley.

You stop and say "Hey, you! Stop that right this instant! That's wrong and you're evil for doing it!"

Guess who gets arrested? That's right. You go off to jail for "hate crimes" against this evil old bastard.

Here are excerpts from Appendix D of Section 319, Criminal Code of Canada:

1. Section 319 of the Criminal Code prohibits the communication of certain kinds of statements about identifiable groups (Defined in Section 318: see Appendix 'B').

7. One can be convicted of this offence even if the statements are made in good faith to support opinions on a religious subject, even if the statements made are true, and even if they are relevant to any subject of public interest, made for public benefit, and reasonably believed to be true by the person who makes them.

Still not convinced? Then go read the whole thing and take a look at what the Catholic Church in Canada thinks of this bullshit.

Oh, Canada! What ever happened to the intelligent, nice folks we used to have on our northern border? They can't even make a decent beer nowadays.

What else can we expect from Berkley?

Now isn't THIS special? A tenured (I assume) professor--Muslim, natch!) making what amounts to be comments that, in my book, fit the definition of "crimes against humanity."

This POS (for you new readers out there: piece of shit) is actually advocating an intifada in the US for our actions in the Mideast. Here we have a man living a comfortable life in Leftist California, something he'd not have in his goat-fucking place of birth, and he advocates violence against us.

Maybe it's time he met up with the business end of a Louisville Slugger. Nothing says "AMERICA" better than baseball, eh?

Choose your headline

1. Animal kingdom wins again

---or---

2. Serpents and religion don't mix

Looks like we have another addition to the "Darwin List." Good lesson to be learned here: you better be in good with the big guy before you mess with these things. Preaching and serpent handling really do not mix. Makes you wonder how that moonbat congregation will now rationalize his "departure" from this blue ball.

He’s Back

Sorry for the delay, gang! I finally managed to get the newly rebuilt computer together and -SHAZAAM- it is a screamer! I'm still loading software (only about 400 GB to go) but I've got the basics (Anti-Virus, Office, w.bloggar, Acrobat, etc.). At least I can rant here again.

Hmmmmm ... it looks like Vilmar got quite a few of you upset in my absence. Especially oldcatman.

That's life. Deal with it!

Sometimes the animals win

This just in from Japan.

Whereas we may be at the top of the food chain, occasionally the animal kingdom fights back.

Even after death.

Slipping past the radar

Those of you are fascinating by or interested in economics may have missed this story or maybe it was given short shrift in the news. But its implications are wide ranging and WILL have an effect on our economy.

The issue is China's trade deficit. You think they'd have a trade surplus given all the stuff that comes out of China. Yet what is going on is a direct result of demand for cheaper products not only in the US but the rest of the world. The Chinese are faced with one hell of a booming economy resulting in the need for serious capital investment. Result? HUGE increases in spending for raw materials and energy.

Energy? YEP! Want to venture a guess why our gasoline prices are so much higher? Although not fully to blame, China does bear some responsibility. Not in the negative sense though as the result of a more capitalistic China CAN benefit the US down the road. But China's growth spurt DEMANDS more petroleum. And it gets it from the same places we do---OPEC.

Those who understand supply and demand will also understand where I am headed: more demand + less supply = higher prices (assuming production remains constant.) Given OPEC's desire to cut production, it is no mystery that our gas prices will rise over the coming months.

Whereas I do not begrudge China's desire to grow and improve the life of its people, I will begrudge (AND BLAME) the leftist enviro-wackoes in this country who have thwarted every move we've made to drill for more oil, who refuse to allow us to explore the capacities of ANWR, and whose efforts via EPA and other lawsuits, prohibited us from increasing refinery capacity over the last 20 years.

So if prices for gasoline are high this summer and in coming years, find a Birkenstock wearing, dope smoking, non-contributing to economic growth by being perpetually unemployed professional protestor, granola eating, tree hugging liberal and blame him or her. Or you can buy a smaller car and get promptly run over by a large SUV. You see, that SUV owner is most likely a person who understands supply and demand and rather than whine about it is insisting we increase capacity and refining capability because he or she knows high gas prices increases producer costs which results in higher prices for everything which causes inflation and decreases consumer buying power which drives down demand which results in lower output which causes companies to downsize, resulting in higher unemployment. And the beat goes on and on and on and on. (unless, of course, that SUV owner is a limousine liberal in which case they will whine, too.)

But to the whiney Dummycraps, that's EXACTLY what they want. A weak US so they can get into power and sell us out to the UN. Traitors.

Woman versus machine: a year later

From "the only good moonbat is a dead moonbat" department, we have this little story. A year ago Rachel Corrie (useful idiot that she was) got run over by a bulldozer protesting in favor of terrorists. (you know, looking back over those last few words I wonder if we can make up a happy little Christmas song along the lines of "Grandma got run over by a reindeer." Maybe, "Rachel got flattened by a dozer?" Come on, you creative types out there, let's have some lyrics!)

Ahem. I digress.

Read how her family still insists she was an innocent little girl. Yep, the same "little girl" who burned an American flag while over there.

Read how her family protests the demolition of terrorists homes by the Israelis yet not one of those people in her little group were protesting when the UK does the same thing. Ironic, huh?

Useful idiot, indeed. As an old boss used to say about those who'd get themselves killed in spectacularly stupid ways or got kicked out of the service for breaking the law, "I like to see the positive in everyone. Everyone has the opportunity to serve as an example. They just happened to serves as BAD EXAMPLES."

Bad example, indeed. But the lefty, American hating crowd won't see it as that. So I hope I can read more about future useful idiots serving as bad examples when they run into the business end of a 'dozer.

The flip flop of the media

Amazing how, when proven wrong, the leftist media in this country will take a position diametrically opposed to its core beliefs in an effort to take the heat off its stupid positions. Why? In order to continue to persecute and harass those it disfavors; in this case the Bush administration.

That's exactly what the NY Times is doing as it says the US should have used racial profiling. Can you believe it? The Gray Lady supports profiling? Incredible, huh? A newspaper that for many years would excoriate anyone attempting to do any such thing (witness the howls of outrage when police stop male black drivers when looking for suspects described as black males. What are they SUPPOSED to do, stop a white grandmother to MAKE it look fair? Look no further than when we started pulling people out of lines at airports for thorough inspections. Who was at the forefront demanding we stop it? Stupid leftist moonbats, of course!) Yet now the NY Times finds itself advocating such a position against middle easterners. Hindsight truly IS 20-20.

What next? Will she come out against abortions? You bet! If it means those unapologetic leftists can write something to make the public believe by doing so it can absolve itself, it will.

Barking moonbats everywhere will now be singing the praises of profiling all the while castigating the Bush administration for not having done so. The fact that it is hypocritical for them to even mention profiling eludes them but it accomplishes what the NY Times so badly wants: more bad press against a (IT'S ABOUT OIL!! IT'S ABOUT OIL!!) President (HALLIBURTON!!! HALLIBURTON!!!) who they claim "DID NOTHING." What shitbirds. What assclowns. Yet millions of stupid Americans (yep, that's right. I'm talking about you Dummycraps) will swallow it so quickly you'll make Monica Lewinsky proud.

You gotta wonder, eh? Come on, you lefties out there. Justify this one.

So our troops are not heroes, eh?

30 years ago, Andy Rooney might have been considered "interesting" for his views.

Lately he's been nothing but an asshole. Plain and simple. He may have a right to say what he wants but I also have a right to call him a douche-bag, washed up old cur who needs to be put out pasture. Better yet, send him to the glue factory.

That stupid old man has no concept of what it takes to transform a nation from a peoples held under the thumb of a dictator to one that can self govern. Obviously he is not a reader of history but mainly spewing out Dummycrap party nonsense about the "quagmire." Had he read his history he'd have seen how long it took the US to form itself into a representative republic. He'd have seen how long it took us in post-war Germany and Japan. But like many of the social leftists in this country he's as blind as a moonbat to these facts.

Here are MY questions for Andy Rooney:

1. Do you think Clinton did the right thing by not taking out Osama (and possibly preventing 9-11) even after he was offered him on a platter several times?

2. Are you doing what you can to help support our troops or are you just leftist mouthpiece scumbucket?

3. Do the orders you get from the DNC seem sensible or are you incapable of thinking critically and independently?

4. If offered a bullet to the head or a noose around your head for your vile writings and opinions, which would you choose?

5. Are you encouraged by all the talk of taking you back behind the woodshed to get the tar pounded out of you?

If you read this and agree with him that our soldiers are not heroes, you're a dirtball, too.

The 9/11 Truck

This was sent to us by David H. and we couldn't resist showing it to you. Read on and take a look at the pictures of the truck ....

This Common Carrier brought us a frozen load of Gilroy Foods today. This truck was awesome. You can decide whether or not it is. I though it was GREAT!

Here is some info I took down after talking with the owner operator.Their names are John & Amy Holmgren. They live in Shafer, Minn. They thought this would be a nice tribute to the people that lost their lives. It has every name of each person that lost their life on 9-11.

This concept was thought up by John and Amy, and totally paid for by them. John says he will be a while paying the loan off that he had to take out to do it but, thought this was the least he could do.

Applied Graphics in Fargo, ND did most of the work and Paul Kosenski did the Hand painting. He said that he got to meet the Country Singer Darryl Worley, who Sang the song "Have You Forgotten" and has gotten pulled over 3 times by the police just to get their picture taken by this truck.

(I would have pulled him over too!!)

It is called the Rolling 9-11 Memorial, and it has all the names of the people that were killed on that day and the flights they were on plus some other graphics on the side ofthe Tractor.

Here are pictures of this truck .............

starting off with a bangin’ quote!

WOW! What a way to start the week. I wish I had thought of it. But thanks go to Neal Boortz for putting this FANTASTIC quote on his site.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling that thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." .... John Stuart Mill.

If you take a couple of minutes (no, it should only take seconds, really) to think about what John Stuart Mill said you will find it abundantly clear that only one group of people feel this way: the ones who are whining about Iraq, the ones who believe Richard Clarke was right and Condi Rice was wrong, the ones who think only the UN can resolve the situation in Iraq, the ones who want our troops home right now.

In other words, John F***ing Kerry and his sycophant hordes of leftists, spineless cowards, and America-hating socialists who will most likely vote for this rat-bag moonbat moron.

Sunday brain brunch

Too bad we can't import this to spontaneously combust the Dummycrap moonbats in our midst. They sound like they need a little religion.

Bush vows to hand over control of Iraq on June 30th. He said failing to do so would be "precisely what our enemies want."

Somehow I do not think he was referring to terrorists. Could his veiled comment have been referring to the Dummycraps and biased media in this country? After all, they are sounding like the enemy more and more every day.

It may be time to pull out the stops and raze every mosque in Iraq should this come true. Bring it on, baby!! Let's make this a truly holy war. As in "Holy shit, here come American B-1 bombers!" or "Holy fuck! Those marines look pissed!!" or "Holy snapping arseholes, I think I shit my pants." or "Holy, holy, my bodies full of holies from that machine gun."

You Read It Here First

Here is the full text of the White House 9/11 Memo of August 6, 2001. Instead of giving you bits and pieces of it and giving our opinions on it, we decided to let you read the full text and make up your own mind. Classified sections are marked with "----". Leave your comments.

Bin Ladin Determined to Strike in US

Clandestine, foreign government, and media reports indicate Bin Ladin since 1997 has wanted to conduct terrorist attacks in the U.S. Bin Ladin implied in US television interviews in 1997 and 1998 that his followers would follow the example of World Trade Center bomber Ramzi Yousef and "bring the fighting to America."

After US missile strikes on his base in Afghanistan in 1998, Bin Ladin told followers he wanted to retaliate in Washington, according to ------------- service.

An Egyptian Islamic Jihad (EIJ) operative told an ----------------- service at the same time that Bin Ladin was planning to exploit the operative's access to the US to mount a terrorist strike.

The millennium plotting in Canada in 1999 may have been part of Bin Ladin's first serious attempt to implement a terrorist strike in the US. Convicted plotter Ahmed Ressam has told the FBI that he conceived the idea to attack Los Angeles International Airport himself, but that Bin Ladin lieutenant Abu Zubaydah encouraged him and helped facilitate the operation. Ressam also said that in 1998 Abu Zubaydah was planning his own US attack.

Ressam says Bin Ladin was aware of the Los Angeles operation.

Although Bin Ladin has not succeeded, his attacks against the US Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998 demonstrate that he prepares operations years in advance and is not deterred by setbacks. Bin Ladin associates surveilled our Embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam as early as 1993, and some members of the Nairobi cell planning the bombings were arrested and deported in 1997.

Al-Qa'ida members - including some who are US citizens - have resided in or traveled to the US for years, and the group apparently maintains a support structure that could aid attacks. Two al-Qa'ida members found guilty in the conspiracy to bomb our Embassies in East Africa were US citizens, and a senior EIJ member lived in California in the mid-1990s.

A clandestine source said in 1998 that a Bin Ladin cell in New York was recruiting Muslim-American youth for attacks.

We have not been able to corroborate some of the more sensational threat reporting, such as that from a -------------- service in 1998 saying that Bin Ladin wanted to hijack a US aircraft to gain the release of "Blind Shaykh" 'Umar 'Abd al-Rahman and other US-held extremists.

Nevertheless, FBI information since that time indicates patterns of suspicious activity in this country consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks, including recent surveillance of federal buildings in New York.

The FBI is conducting approximately 70 full field investigations throughout the US that it considers Bin Ladin-related. CIA and the FBI are investigating a call to our Embassy in UAE in May saying that a group of Bin Ladin supporters was in the US planning attacks with explosives.
