A Sad Day For Entertainment

With Howard The Duck dropping out of the race, I am saddened. Why? Because we will no longer have this kind of entertainment.

Or this, this, this, and especially this.

If Barking Moonbats like that didn't exist, we would have to invent them.

Politician Interlock Device

Legistators in New Mexico are trying to pass a bill that would require ignition interlock devices that incorporate a breathalyzer in all vehicles by 2008. Supposedly, this would prevent drunks from getting behind the wheel and driving badly.

Wouldn't it be easier and less expensive to just vigorously prosecute people who drive drunk under current laws? Do they have any idea how much this will cause the price of cars to rise?

Maybe New Mexico needs to install a Rationalizer&trade interlock device on the state capitol. Lawmakers would be required to prove they have a minimum of common sense before being allowed to enter.

Moonbat Of The Week Award

This has been a busy week, what with kicking off the 9-11 Contest, trying to finish loading up a new Linux server on my home network and handling all the problems at the office. However, there are Barking Moonbats out there and they deserve recognition at all costs, therefore this week's award goes to this woman:

We will hold the trophy until she is released from prison.

Dope Dope!

The Robin Williams Peace Plan

I found this over at Strange Cosmos. Methinks Robin has come up with the perfect plan ......

1. The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Tojo, Noriega, Milosovich and the rest of those 'good ole boys, 'We will never "interfere" again.

2. We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany, South Korea and the Philippines. They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No one sneaking through holes in the fence.

3. All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of who or where they are. France would welcome them.

4. All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit. No one from a terrorist nation would be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5. No "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" (for "deport") and it's back home baby.

6. The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing non-polluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while.

7. Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go some place else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8. If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere." They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

9. Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island some place. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10. All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH.....learn it...or LEAVE...

Now, ain't that a winner of a plan?

"The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying "Give me your poor, your tired, your huddled masses." She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, "You want a piece of me?"

FLASH!! KERRY AIDS VIET CONG GENOCIDE

By now, you have all read about John Kerry's anti-war days protesting the Vietnam War and testifying before Congress in 1971 that his fellow soldiers, while he was serving in Vietnam, committed atrocities like rape and murder. Definite human rights violations by US troops? Kerry said so.

Now we come full circle and that same John Kerry is running for President and his tune has changed. Now he thinks human rights violations and millions of people murdered by Vietnam is A-OK with him. WTF, over?

Since 2001 Senator John Kerry has stubbornly blocked Senate Bill HR-2833. This bill was passed without delay through the House of Representatives by a margin of 411 to 1 to bring an immediate halt to Vietnam's undisguised genocide of Montagnard tribes in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. The Vietnamese have already reduced the population of Montagnards from 3 million to less than 650,000 since the Vietnam War ended. That's almost 2.5 million men, women and children who were "ethnically cleansed" as part of Vietnam's ongoing "cutlural leveling" program.

A quick search of John Kerry's web site showed a list of issues that does not include human rights. However, at another page on the Kerry web site, Asian-Americans For John Kerry, we found this quote "Kerry has worked to improve human rights in Vietnam by raising the issue in private meeting with the government.”

So, John Kerry is blocking legislation to force Vietnam to stop murdering its people and meanwhile holding "private meetings" with the Viet Cong??

And from this article at the US Veteran Dispatch we find a very good reason why Kerry sides with the Vietnamese:

A member of Sen. Kerry's family, specifically his cousin, C. Stewart Forbes, is Chief Executive Officer of the Boston, Massachusetts-based Colliers International, one of the largest real estate federations in the world.

In Dec. 1992, Vietnam granted Colliers a contract designating Colliers the "exclusive real estate agent representing Vietnam." Colliers has since written contracts in Vietnam worth billions, upgrading Vietnam's ports, railroads, highways and government buildings.

Documents retrieved from the Internet clearly demonstrate that Colliers is involved with Lippo in multimillion contracts in Indonesia. Kerry, who has a blind trust run by members of his family, claims he knows nothing about his cousin's business deals or affiliations.

NewsMax also reports the following: Kerry is also a fan of China’s communist dictatorship. “On May 19, 1994, five years after Tiananmen Square, Kerry spoke on the Senate floor against linking China's Most Favored Nation trade status to its human rights record,” Slate reported.

So, to conclude, John Kerry loves Communist dictatorships who murder their people by the millions and thinks the US should cozy up to them and encourage their genocidal behavior by giving them most favored nation status and exchanging embassies - while snagging lucrative contracts for his relatives from these despotic regimes!?!?!?!?!

Emperor Misha, over at the Rottweiler Empire gives John Kerry a ROYAL FISKING over this issue. I wish Misha could participate in an interview with Monsieur Kerry. I predict the ClueBat&trade would come out after about the first answer. Maybe sooner.

Lies and the liars who tell them

A couple of incidents to further prove how the media and Dummycrats will lie through their teeth in order to perpetuate a concept so fallacious that only through constant repetition will the masses start to believe it.

In the first we see how the left is attempting to hold up Max Cleland as some sort of "wounded in combat at Khe Sahn" veteran who, although he unfortunately lost several limbs, admitted himself it was something that occurred as he was headed off to drink beer. He did not even get a Purple Heart for it!

In Ann Coulter's column last week she skewered Cleland pretty badly (but told NO lies!) and was, herself, pilloried by the leftists in our media (Molly Ivins, Al Hunt, Joe Klein, etc.) for telling the truth. They then proceeded to basically call HER the liar!!

How do these people get up in the morning, look themselves in the mirror and think positively about themselves? Is this some sort of genetic anomaly common to Democrats? At times like this I believe we should fire up the eugenics programs and cull these vermin out of our gene pool.

But to listen to Democrats, Cleland ranks right up there with the JFK/PT-109 incident. Unfortunately, THEY are the ones who are LIARS!!!! (LIARS!!!! LIARS!!!! LIARS!!!!)

You should probably readAnn Coulter's new piece yourself. (God, I LOVE that woman!!!)

Now let's take a look at what Neal Boortz has to say about another Dummycrat lie: who pays what taxes in America. Again, the media further perpetrates the lies, lies, lies and nonsense that John Edwards is spewing about the "two Americas." Why am I not surprised? Go ahead, read for yourself and then ask yourself why the media would purposely give this moonbat a pass.

In this country 97% of all income taxes are paid by the top 50% of income earners. That means that the bottom 50% of income earners are paying virtually none ... a paltry 3% of the tax burden. The top 1% of income earners earn less than 18% of all income, but they pay 38% of all income taxes. Every single year the tax burden gets shifted more and more to the high income earners. And here comes John Edwards saying that we have two tax systems in America where the rich pay less and the working families pay more?

My last question is this: how soon before this group of people who pay little or no taxes will start to vote and then demand benefits, goodies, services, etc. from the government knowing full well they do not have to pay? As Benevolent Dictator I would make EVERYONE pay taxes regardless of income. Make $1 and you pay at least 5% for the privilege. If you are going to participate in government by voting then you should pay for the privilege. Got too many kids and can't afford it? That's not my problem. As Dictator I did not authorize you to have kids you can't afford to maintain. (insert evil laugh here.)

Blame Europe

In recent weeks, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan of Pakistan has been exposed and pilloried (and eventually pardoned) for selling nuclear secrets to North Korea, Iran and Libya. The world is up in arms over this giving away of nuclear technology to terrorist-sponsoring countries.

Hold the phone.

According to the New York Times in today's issue, it seems that the spread of nuclear technology started in Europe. In 1971, when John Kerry was protesting the Vietnam War and accusing his former comrades of atrocities and George Bush was serving in the National Guard, several European nations got together and formed a company called Urenco. This company's sole purpose was to develop nuclear technology and enrich uranium in order to allow Europe to establish nuclear independence from the US. I suspect the French were behind it. They have a long history of "penUS envy".

Dr. Kahn worked for Urenco before returning to his home in Pakistan in the 80's. According to the Times, security at Urenco was "slipshod", at best.

Now you know. When some terrorist raghead slips a nuke into the US and blows up Cleveland, you can send a thank-you note to Europe. Not the Russians. Not the Pakistanis. Our "friends" in Europe are the ones responsible.

Bored To Tears

Damn! Here it is, only February in an election year and the party is over. Howard The Duck has dropped out of the campaign. General Weasel Clark has slithered back to Arkansas. Al Sharpton is still mumbling somewhere in the background. Dennis "Kook" Kucinich was last reported in Roswell, NM demanding the release of his alien friends. "Jolting Joe" Lieberman wandered off into the desert, reportedly in search of an intelligent political party. Al "Clinton screwed me" Gore has been suitably restrained and medicated - just in time. Meanwhile, Hillary "More balls than Bill" Clinton, aka "The Hildebeast", "Shrillary" is biding her time, plotting, scheming and conjuring up spells in her eternal quest for The Ring Of Power.

And all we're left with is Baron Botox, aka John "I served in Vietnam" Kerry and John "I won one state primary" Edwards.

The Donks are getting down to what they do best, name-calling and finger-pointing. Typical.

Republicans are sitting back, letting the Donks slap them around. Typical.

On the plus side however, Greg Maddux will be pitching for the Cubs this season. As a lifetime Cubs fan I can proudly predict that this year we're going all the way! No, really. Stop laughing.

The Fallacious argument about wage inequalities

In a previous rant I made casual mention of the "glass ceiling" often brayed and whined about by the femi-nazis in this country (AKA NAGs (National Association of Gals) as Rush Limbaugh, great American hero, so eloquently puts it.))

Of course, those same women's' groups won't bother to tell you how their data is doctored and how often it is a repetition of a mantra they developed in the late 80s and early 90s which had, as its centerpiece, the notion that women, on average, made 20% less than men. The key word here is "AVERAGE." Funny how the NAG femi-nazis never point that out. They prefer to "average" their numbers wherein the salaries of men who work in hazardous or dangerous or environmentally uncomfortable jobs (and which are often much higher to account for the adversity) are compared to traditionally "female" jobs of teaching, sales clerks, secretaries and others which historically pay much less and are more comfortable, have more flexible hours, and so on. I wouldn't exactly call that cricket, would you?

What they failed to mention back then (and continue to neglect today) is that back in the 70s and 80s as well as now there DOES exist a difference in wages simply because the measure of merit, consistent and continued employment, is not the same for men and women.

For many years women would make it into the workforce yet some time later if one looked around they would see that whereas many men were still there, the women had left to raise families, get out of the rat race, stay at home and be housewives or whatever. Is there anything wrong with that? No. Many took time to raise their kids. That's great! Then laws were passed to allow this time off to be taken without the risk of the mother losing her job. One small caveat---no guarantees were ever made for advancement on par with those who had NOT left, who were at work EVERY day plugging away, going to the meetings, making the long trips away from family, keeping the company afloat, making the deals, etc.

Yet this is one of those "minor" detail often overlooked or just plain omitted by many women's groups when they throw the "disparity" in your face.

Now before you start getting all uppity and climbing on your high horses of moral indignation, allow me to say that God created us differently and each sex has its plusses and minuses. Chief among the plusses for women IS the ability to give birth. For that we are all grateful, natch! But we must also realize life is not fair. Not all women CAN aspire to high positions within a company simply because they were not "present" as often as men. That's life. Deal with it.

If you are not too pissed off yet, please continue.

wandering into the “wrong” neighborhood on a galactic scale

At first glance, you'd probably not even pay this story any attention but it intrigued me for some reason so I clicked on it.

If you think wandering into a "wrong" neighborhood has dire consequences here on earth, read what happens if you happen to be a star and wander into a "black hole's" neighborhood. (GEEZ, I'm think I hear the ACLU approaching and I will probably catch a lot of shit for that remark!)

Talk To Their God

In a last, desperate attempt to prove he wasn't AWOL, President Bush tries one last time to get Democrats and the media to believe him. It's "Day By Day" of course.

Great Story From Our Troops In The Field

I got this story just a few minutes ago from one of our troops "in the box" as he calls it. Priceless, simply priceless.

.... so we are up in the mountains at about 0100 hrs looking for a bad guy that we thought was in the area. Here are ten of us, pitch black, crystal clear night, about 25 degrees. We know there are bad guys in the area, a few shots have been fired but no big deal. We decide that we need air cover and the only thing in the area is a solo B-1 bomber. He flies around at about 20,000 feet and tells us there is nothing in the area. He then asks if we would like a low level show of force.

Stupid question. Of course we tell him yes.

The controller who is attached to the team then is heard talking to the pilot. Pilot asks if we want it subsonic or supersonic.

Very stupid question.

Pilot advises he is twenty miles out and stand by. The controller gets us all sitting down in a line and points out the proper location. You have to picture this: Pitch black, ten killers sitting down, dead quiet and overlooking this about 30 mile long valley.

All of a sudden, way out (below our level) you see a set of four 200' white flames coming at us. The controller says, "Ah-- guys-- you might want to plug your ears". Faster than you can think a B-1, supersonic, 1000' over our heads, blasts the sound barrier and it feels like God just hit you in the head with a hammer. He then stands it straight up with 4 white trails of flame coming out and disappears.

Cost of gas for that: Probably $50,000

Hearing damage: For certain.

Bunch of bad guys thinking twice about shooting at us: Priceless.
