Effortlessly Adorable

Just in case you didn’t follow all the links in my previous post. The show rocks, but it’s all I can do not to squeal like a 12 year old girl when she’s on. She’s that cute. OMFG. And her character is a total sweetie too.

Dancing On The Edge

Argentine “Dancing With The Stars” Couple Takes It To The Very Edge Of Porn

Racy Routine Redefines The Tango

image

Argentina’s version of DWTS features raunchy striptease that leaves NOTHING to the imagination

To think Nancy Grace’s accidental nipple slip on Dancing with the Stars caused so much controversy.

Just hot foot it down to Argentina where the cable news host would look demure and almost prudish compared to her South American counterparts.

Viewers of Monday night’s show were treated to a racy, Roman-inspired performance between model and reality star Cinthia Fernandez and her partner Marcelo Tinelli, as they writhed and contorted around the floor, stripping off each other’s clothes until they were completely naked.

The full-on frontal nudity in Bailando por un Sueño has caused a lot of controversy since it was aired with critics calling the performance more X-rated than five-starred.

The dance starts off with the partners wearing skimpy togas and continues as each tears off pieces of the other’s clothes. When Fernandez’s top comes off, she reveals gold-painted breasts which she goes on to squeeze provocatively.

After the pair grind their bodies together on the dance floor as if they were having sex, Tinelli proceeds to pour red wine over his dance partner’s body, who by this time is wearing only a G-string.

At the end of the dance, Fernandez’s G-string is pulled off, leaving her standing naked on national television. [ “standing” is used here for brevity. “spread eagle and upside down in a cartwheel with his face in her crotch” appears to be more accurate, judging from the pictures at the link ]

Even the show’s host, who seemed to get quite excited during the performance, even lying down with the couple at one stage, looked shocked by the raunchy routine’s end.

Oh and Cynthia Fernandez’s parents were reported to have been in the front row of the audience.

If anything, their dance was probably fairly historically accurate. How raunchy do you think the entertainment was for those Roman orgies? Pretty far out there would be my guess.

fashion trend?

I hear that big hats are making a comeback. I’m all for it. I just love ladies in big hats. I don’t care if the hats are tres chic or swamp rat; it takes a degree of boldness and self-confidence to carry off a big hat and that’s what I admire. Oh, and the freckles.

Just wondering. Not biologically of course, though the faces of the last two look quite similar to me. CBullit has more info on this subject, plus puppies.

This is west coast model Ryonen. She may look 15, but she’s actually 22. I think she’s kind of got a Christina Ricci thing going on, but that might just be me.

Doing Hippy Right

image DKNY channels hippy chic at New York Fashion Week image

Donna Karan is New York through-and-through - and what better way to channel the spirit of the city on the 9/11 anniversary than to feature a New York street as the backdrop to her fashion show?

On the street-side catwalk, the 62-year-old’s DKNY label - more accessible and affordable than her Donna Karan line - took a step back to the hippy Seventies with its wide-brimmed floppy hats and bright colours.

The grande dame of American fashion dressed her long-haired models in retro prints, short minis and long, floaty dresses.

And if the selection of hippy-influenced outfits are anything to go by, the trend for all things Seventies looks in no sign of going away soon.

Larger-than-life floppy hats completed outfits in matching hues and prints, giving each look a sun-drenched holiday feel, transporting the audience to warmer days, while on the street outside, pedestrians, taxis and onlookers were treated to their very own view of the show.

Royal blue, fire engine red and lollipop pink stood out, while more natural nudes and white added lightness to flowing, feminine frocks. A mini-dress with matching hat, bag and heels echoed a more Sixties feel.

Platform heels, gracing many a model’s svelte feet at Fashion Week so far, added to the theme, their colourful straps again matching with hats and dresses.

Gosh, what a surprise: gorgeous young models with long flowing hair, legs up to there on parade, short skirts and loose flowing outfits look fabulous! Who would have ever guessed? Ok, I’m not too impressed with the shoes ... every model wore the same shoes, matched to each outfit ... but still. You could put these women in singed burlap bags and they’d still be stunning.

eye candy … cheryl cole

I’ll never be able to figure out why a beautiful woman, or any woman, would think she looks better or has added to her looks in a positive way by adding tattoos.
I wouldn’t suggest she hasn’t a right. It’s her billboard after all, but I still wish they wouldn’t.
Now if a lady has outstanding beauty we may still be drawn to her face no matter what’s on her ankle or her neck. BUT ... oh gee.  When they aren’t great lookers to begin with, like the lady (aged 35, she told me tho I never asked) who cut my hair yesterday, it really, really looks not only bad.  It also looks dumb. My barber yesterday was a tall lady with a bunch of some kind of red color piled up on top of her head and to the front, a really bad color too, and her head had been shaved on the sides. She had a button on her tongue as well. She also has five kids.
Great example mommy.

Which brings me to my eye candy choice who I think is one of the most amazingly beautiful woman on the planet.  But darn it, why oh why the damn tats?
I wish I knew her so I could ask.

Now then, I’m not a professional shutter bug or any kind of artist so perhaps I shouldn’t question the photography here. But considering the subject, I wish the shots hadn’t been so muted. I guess they wanted atmosphere or whatever.

I’ll still buy that calendar when I can get it by golly.  And I do not buy calendars like this normally. Not ever. But I kinda like

CHERYL COLE

I heard her on the radio once, an interview, and she sounded like a very nice person. She just came across well. But I never heard her sing and not too sure I want to cos her music would not be my choice and anyway, I don’t want my illusion spoiled if she’s a bad vocalist.

this is from the 2010 calendar, which til today I didn’t even know was out there.
