HE SAYS IT BEATS PLAYING WITH A RUBBER DUCK. YEAH WELL, I’LL TAKE HIS WORD FOR IT.
Kevin Richardson is a S.African zoologist.
He apparently loves animals and claims he even sleeps and swims with them.
Trusting soul is Kevin.
Now then, if the term Eye Candy can be strictly translated as anything that is very pleasing to the eye, then this qualifies.
All 400 plus pounds of her.
What a beautiful animal.
I love looking at photos like this but will happily pass on taking a swim with them.
Kevin says Meg here follows him around like a dog. That’s cute. Really.
Hope she doesn’t stalk him as food.
Guy is brave or crazy. Both?
I LOVE cats but .....

EYE CANDY AS CARLA SPARKLES IN DIAMONDS.
I’m posting this as Eye Candy because the lady really does look great. Don’t much care for her politics but hey, I’m not married to her.
I’m happy to simply look and appreciate.
However, there is a complete and somewhat interesting article that goes with the photos.
If you care, hit the link > > CARLA SPARKLES, FRANCE ANGRY!
Carla sparkles in diamonds but Sarkozys’ lavish state visit to Mexico sparks outrage in recession-hit France.

Canada is Nuts
A man who beheaded and cannibalised a Canadian bus passenger in front of horrified travellers may go free after being found not guilty of the murder. Vince Weiguang Li, 40, had been charged with murdering 22-year-old Tim McLean on a Canadian Greyhound bus in July 2008.
While Mr McLean slept on the seat next to him, Li had repeatedly stabbed him, sawn off his head, removed his internal organs and pocketed his nose, tongue and an ear before taunting police and terrified passengers with the severed head.
In court documents police said Li “appeared to smell and then eat parts of Tim McLean’s flesh” and “lick blood from his hands,” as they surrounded the bus on a desolate highway 60 miles from Winnipeg, in western Canada, soon after the attack.
Authorities found body parts littered throughout the bus, some in white plastic bags. Mr McLean’s eyes and a third of his heart were also missing, and it is presumed Li ate them, said a pathologist in court files, though Li denies this.
During a three day trial in Manitoba Court, psychiatrists testified that Li suffered from schizophrenia and did not know what he was doing when he killed Mr McLean. On Thursday Justice John Scurfield , who described the killing as “grotesque” and “appalling,” ruled Li was not criminally responsible for the murder because of his mental disorder.
The ruling means that Li may be released within 90 days after a mental health assessment. Alternatively, he will be treated in a psychiatric hospital.

No Flights To Saudi Arabia. Guaranteed!
This will work.

Easy! Just paint your airplanes with a picture of a nearly naked drop dead gorgeous Jewish girl!
No, that’s not why we did it! Not at all!! We’re just providing some advertising for Sports Illustrated!
Sure, sure, we believe you. Any prayer rugs available on that flight?
Um, no, no we don’t have any of them on any of our flights.
Ah ha!!
Southwest Airlines puts swimsuit model Bar Refaeli on airplane
Hello from LaGuardia Airport in New York City! I just witnessed one of the coolest plane events ever! We finally, after much speculation and anticipation, revealed the beautiful SI One. This plane, N922WN, is wrapped with a temporary decal featuring the cover model, from the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. This definitely seals the deals on Southwest Airlines’ FUN and edgy factor!
Hey, isn’t Southwest the airline that tossed that young woman off the plane a year and a half ago because her outfit was too sexy? I guess they only allow that kind of thing outside the plane.
Whatever. I think this huge extension of the “nose art” concept is just so ... totally American! Yeeeeha!

A TOUCH OF SERIOUS EYE CANDY before leaving for the night.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s Israeli girlfriend, Bar Refaeli
With her fabulous figure and piercing blue eyes, she entranced one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
Now Bar Refaeli is being paid to work that same magic on British shoppers.
The Israeli model, the girlfriend of Leonardo DiCaprio, is appearing in an advertising campaign for Marks & Spencer.
She will star in their Valentine’s Day advertisements wearing a red silk bra and pants and a pink spotted set.
Miss Refaeli, 23, is thought to be getting a six-figure sum for her services, but the lingerie she is selling comes at much more credit-crunchable prices of £22 and £11.
![]()
A spokesman for M&S said: ‘Bar Refaeli has the perfect qualities to show M&S’s Valentine lingerie at its best.’ She will also appear in a summer swimwear campaign, the spokesman said.
Bar started modelling when she was just eight months old and was recently featured in a poll of the world’s most beautiful women.
She’s appeared in campaigns for Victoria’s Secret and Ralph Lauren and was the first Israeli to make the cover of iconic Sports Illustrated magazine. She has also appeared on the cover of Elle and GQ.
More recently she has currently been accompanying di Caprio around the world as he promotes his latest film Revolutionary Road, which also stars Kate Winslet.
The pair met in November 2005 at a party in Las Vegas.
Refaeli is the latest in a string of celebrity signings for M&S and follows in the footsteps of Myleene Klass, Elizabeth Jagger and Antonio Banderas. The company has also invested heavily in TV adverts featuring Take That and Lulu..
However, earlier this month they revealed that the economic crises would result in the closure of almost 30 stores and the loss of more than 1000 jobs.

I never knew they worked that way at all
Sorry Steamy, no “teeth” here
There are speakers, all kinds of speakers, that you can buy for your stereo. There are headphones too, from itty bitty to huge, at every price and quality point you can imagine. There are little ear-bud things you can get. Some are even waterproof. Somewhere there are bone conduction speakers that send the music right through your skull or jawbone. This is all great. You can get waterproof cases for your iPod, MP3 players, CD players, and miniature radios. This is great too.
But I have never seen a waterproof, portable, soft tissue transducer set up before. Very soft tissue. Damn, those Hollywood starlets get all the best new toys to play with. Maybe she’s trying out to be a pair of underwater musical earmuffs for her boyfriend?
PS - Whitney, you’ve got nothing to apologize for. AT ALL !!!

Hey, it’s the American Way
Lovely Russian immigrant
gets rich and famous online by teaching English ... or at least by telling people the etymology of certain words in YouTube videos and running her own website.
How does she do it? Well, she sits on her rumpled bed or on the floor, dressed in sexy outfits, sometimes holding her little white dog, and tells you about words in her liquid sexy Russian accent. Plus she’s kind of funny, and seems like a real sweetheart. A couple little special effects on the videos, and it’s an instant winner. Plus she really puts out. 5 to 7 videos a week that is. Natasha Fatale, eat your heart out!
She is Marina Orlova and you’ve probably seen here already on TV. She’s done interviews on O’Reilly, on CBS, NBC. She’s won teh Sexy Geek of the Year award at least once already. She’s made the cover of the latest issue of Cool! English magazine. I didn’t know there even was such a thing, but I gather it’s popular in other countries. Her YouTube videos have been watched over 155 million times. Wow. She has her own channel there, and it’s #1. She has a biweekly radio show on Maxim Radio on Sirius satellite radio. And of course, the website: HotForWords.com. More than a million registered members.
Is she making money off of this? I hope so. And from more than just the ad revenue from her blog. Her website registration is free. She’s got a calendar for sale. Today’s word is “Gun" . (not that this is her first firearms related video)
I like the concept: intelligence is sexy. The woman has 2 degrees in philology, so she must be quite sexy intelligent herself. And as the English language approaches 1 million words, there has to be somebody out there to tell us what they mean and where they come from. Too bad the one place this concept doesn’t fly is America. Here, brain power is way down the list. That’s a shame.
Now, I’m wondering how she can parlay this into some real money. Maybe she’ll take some acting lessons and become a new tech on CSI. I could see it. Heck, I’d be tempted to commit crimes just to here her describe them. Or maybe a gameshow host. Alex Trebek will have to retire sooner or later. If she keeps showing up on O’Reilly as part of his rotating eye candy squad, she’ll wind up working for Fox. That’s my bet. I’m actually amazed that they haven’t discovered already how mesmerizing women are if they have the right kind of foreign accent.

A TEN MILLION DOLLAR CAR FOUND COLLECTING DUST IN A LOCKED GARAGE. OH MAN! WHAT A CAR!
I have never been an auto mechanic or mechanically inclined. But I have always been car crazy. I love the older ones especially. Like the 37 CORD.
I’m gonna stop here because if I start naming all the cars I am mad for, the list might get too long to read.
I once bought two cars at once because I couldn’t make my mind up between two different makes. I see em as mobile sculptures. Some are works of art too.
You may not agree but I think the 62, 63 and 64 T-Birds are classics. I had a 62 and a 64. Not at the same time though. Hey, once upon a distant past I was young, single, not too smart about money and let me tell you, credit was sooooooooo eeeeeasssssssssssssy to get in So. Calif. and especially for cars.
Another time folks.
Would I do that again today if the wife’d let me?
YOU BETCHA! CARS,CAMERAS,COMPUTERS! Oh yeah ... BOOKS! Tons of books.
The eccentric uncle who left a garage in his will… containing a $10 MILLION Bugatti supercar
By Chris Brooke
Last updated at 11:44 PM on 01st January 2009When eccentric doctor and compulsive hoarder Harold Carr died at the age of 89, his relatives faced a daunting task to sort through his possessions.
His home was packed with piles of medical machinery, 1,500 beer steins, thousands of receipts and even a World War Two spy drone.
But all the effort became worth it when they opened the door of his garage - and struck gold.
![]()
Inside they found a 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante, one of only 17 ever made.
The historic automobile with only 26,284 miles on the clock still has 99 per cent of its original parts.
It will be sold in Paris next month and is strongly tipped to surpass the £4.7million world record for a car at auction.
Auctioneers have put a reserve price of £3million on a two-seater described as one of the ‘ultimate road-going sports cars from the golden era of the 1930s’.
And despite the credit crunch it could fetch anything up to £6million.
Fifteen of the 17 Type 57S Atalantes still exist. This particular model was originally owned by Earl Howe, a leading figure in the early days of British motor sport.
It has a 3.3-litre, eightcylinder engine, four- speed manual gearbox, can reach 60mph in ten seconds and has a top speed of 130mph.
Dr Carr, an orthopaedic surgeon who served as an army doctor during World War Two and also became a keen flier, bought the vehicle in 1955 for £895 - the equivalent of £15,500 today.
He drove it for a few years before leaving it in the garage near his home at Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne. The last tax disc expired in December 1960.
He never married and eight relatives are to share the proceeds of his estate.
A nephew, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: ‘We knew he had some cars, but we had no idea what they were.
‘It was a bit of local folklore that he had a Bugatti, but no one knew for sure. It’s worth so much because he hasn’t used it for 50 years. It was one of the original supercars.
‘When it was built it could reach 130mph at a time when other cars could only do 50mph. Of course we are delighted and we’re going to make sure the money is shared out among the family. It’s a wonderful thing to leave.’
He described his uncle as ‘a very eccentric old gent’, adding: ‘I suppose you could call him a mad doctor. People who saw him in the street thought he was a tramp. He would wear two pairs of trousers at the same time.
![]()
(BMEWS, GO TO THE LINK BELOW TO SEE ENLARGEMENT OF THIS FOR EASY READ. FASCINATING STUFF.)
‘All the children would laugh at him in the street when he tinkered with his cars because he wore a piece of rubber tube round his head to stop the oil getting in his hair. But he was always such a generous man.’
In his later years Dr Carr suffered from a form of obsessive compulsive disorder and hoarded everything in the house he refused to leave.
Files were piled 6ft high at his detached home, including even receipts for pencils bought in the 1950s.
‘Since he died, it has taken me 18 months to get where I am today,’ said the nephew. ‘There was an awful lot to sort out with his house.’
![]()
A classic Aston Martin was found in another garage and sold for ‘tens of thousands’, but an E-type Jaguar was in such a poor state that it had to be scrapped.
Over the years Dr Carr resisted many offers to buy the Bugatti.
When his property was cleared dozens of notes from would-be buyers were found inside.
‘People must have known because he got letters from all over the country,’ his nephew said.
‘He got notes pushed through his door. People travelled from all over to try and convince him to sell the car.’
![]()
James Knight, international head of the Bonhams motoring department, said Dr Carr’s Bugatti was ‘one of the last great barn discoveries’.
He added: ‘I have known of this Bugatti for a number of years and, like a select group of others, hadn’t dared divulge its whereabouts to anyone. It offers a truly rewarding project to the new owner - who will join a select list of distinguished owners - to play such an integral part in bringing this wonderful motor car back to life.’
The current auction record of £4.7million was paid in 1987 in London for another Bugatti, a 1931 Royale.

Amazing Fashion
And now, for no reason whatsoever*, is a bit of amazing fashion. So amazing I hid it below the fold.
Herewith is Australian designer Anna Plunkett wearing a chicken. A very colorful, playful, sleepy chicken. With enormous false eyelashes, right over the breasteses area.
Notice the attention to detail - it’s the chrome tassels on her open toed purple high heeled sneakers that really make the outfit.
Ladies, get out your charge cards. I expect this will be THE hot new look for Spring. Whimsy, art, and support for PETA all rolled into one. How can you refuse?
h/t to Go Fug Yourself
* Ok, the reason is that I just can’t bear to post publicly on the head banging idiocy of Obama’s latest staff appointment, so I’ll hide that in the comments.

MY IDEA OF REAL EYE CANDY ….. THERE IS JUST SOMETHING ABOUT HER.
ok friends and neighbors. if you really want to read the short story that goes with this, there’s the link below.
I confess, I don’t care about the story. There’ll be plenty more in the future I am certain.
What I wanna do now is just leer at that gor-jus face and hair.
Letting her hair down: Sarah Palin ditches the up-do and lets her locks hang loose as she looks to the future
By Daily Mail Reporter
Last updated at 9:35 PM on 13th November 2008
Sarah Palin showed off a new hairstyle today. The Alaskan govenor addressed a Republican conference with her groomed, brunette tresses left loose and blow-dryed, rather than her usual up-do or half-up style.
Now that the election is over, perhaps the former vice-presidential nominee decided she can relax a bit and let it all hang out.

“from and about Europe”
This post is about Europe though not from Europe.
This is dedicated to Walt, who left BMEWS after a year and a half
...probably because most of the posts were from and about Europe.
Just another European post...pictures from Oktoberfest 2008 in Munich. (SFW)
Think my wife would let me go next year? Me neither.

Where’s Sarah?
I’ve noticed the MSM playing a game of Where’s Waldo about Sarah Palin. “Why is the GOP hiding her from us?” they ask each other all the time. Gee, I dunno, maybe because of the way you “greeted” her and her family to the national spotlight? Or maybe, as the media darkly suggests, they’ve got her holed away in some library studying up on foreign policy ....

OKOK, I promise I’ll get to the more serious stuff in a minute. But first ….
Oh my ... Ain’t she pretty. That isn’t a question.
Only 16. Wish her well and hope it won’t spoil her as this kind of thing so often does.
It’s great a Brit girl won in the face of all the awful teen news here in the UK about girl crime and girl gangs etc.

Amy Jackson, 16, was crowned in Houston, Texas on Saturday.
She has now returned home to Knowsley, Liverpool to celebrate with friends and family.
She said: “I really thought I had not made the final five, but then I went on to take the title. I was completely shocked and so happy.”
Miss Jackson beat competitors from Korea, Mexico and Russia to win. As part of the entry, she was marked on her stage presence and her answers in an interview.
The teenager received her GCSE results while at the competition in the US, and found out she had achieved nine passes, five of which were As.
She is now considering going to live in Texas for a year to promote the competition. After that, she plans to start her A-levels and then go on to university to study law.
Miss Jackson reached the final in Texas after winning Miss Teen Liverpool and Miss Teen Great Britain competitions.
Her father, BBC Radio Merseyside presenter Alan Jackson said: “The contestants were asked to talk about their home town. She mentioned Liverpool FC, Capital of Culture, the Mersey – there is no shortage of things to say about Liverpool.”
Her 18 prizes include a modelling contract in the US, a wardrobe of clothes, a year’s supply of top cosmetics and shoes and a £10,000 scholarship.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot.
