Once Again, The One And Only Post

January 19, 2021

Posting from tablet still. Dell sending tech to my house tomorrow with new motherboard and HD. I might lose all data.

FBI trying to vet all 25000 nat guard soldiers for inuaguration. Fear of the troops. Top DOJ says no threats found. so far. Inuaguration will be behind razor wire. This is a junta.

Incoming “leader” cant even trust the militarty there to protect him. Sick. Paranoid. PROOF of a stolen election.

FML. I can’t deal with this tablet.

Go hunt down an online copy of The Presidents Advisory 1776 Commission Final Report. Save it, read it, savor it. Best thing I’ve read in years.

Naturally the unhinged Left is outraged at this illegitimate racist hack job of outright lies.  Fuck them all.

January 18, 2021

I can’t take this anymore. this is my 9th attempt to make a little post from my tablet, as it seems I killed my PC when I pounded my fist on the table after reading how Biden’s plan to destroy America on Day One starts with shutting down the Keystone XL pipeline. Like China, Joe is asshoe.

Spent the day fixing my 22 year old vaccuum cleaner. It kept shutting down; clogged with dirt and dirty filters. I think I’ve got it fixed; after taking it apart and cleaning everything, I put it back together and “test vacuumed” the whole house. It didnt shut down. So far, so good.

Now to see what happened to the PC. Bounced the HD probably. Ooops. It might still be under warranty though.

Any excuse to slack off. Typical government workers.

Ahead of “Suspected Unrest” USPS Removes Mailboxes, Stops Collecting Mail

The US Postal Services said it will remove mailboxes in several major cities as a security measure ahead of Joe Biden’s Inauguration next week.

As a security measure ahead of the January 20 event, mailboxes in at least 17 states including California and New Jersey, as well as Washington, DC, will be temporarily removed, several press releases from USPS said.

“It’s part of our normal procedures to keep our employees and customers safe during times of protest or when large crowds are gathered near postal facilities, on postal routes, or by mailboxes,” USPS spokesman David Partenheimer told Insider.

At least 14 post offices in DC will also be closed on Inauguration Day, the Postal Service said in a statement.

What a crock.

PS - the “read also” link proves it was Antifa. I don’t care how big a Trump rally, a Tea Party protest, or any Conservative event is, the place is spotlessly clean when they’re done. So if there was a mess - and PPS fuck the custodial staff, cleaning up is their job and PPPS why are they all darkies? - it proves the perps were antifa. The media is asshoes.

January 17, 2021

Up before the birdies and the dawn this morning. We were both tired last night, so we took our C and melatonin and were in bed by 9:30. I managed to read about 10 pages of that introspective 70’s classic Zen and the art of Motorcycle Maintenance ( I think the story is starting to show that the narrator is a bit crazy ) and then fell asleep. So I was wide awake before 6. Feed the cats (outdoor kitteh Ginger has not been around in 10+ days; we’re worried but he’s done this kind of runner before). Get a little coffee going. So I’m in front of the PC now at 7:15, Dizzy cat is bugging me for sock rubs, and I’m checking my usual news sources.

As usual, the daily Covid crap ...

FDA Shifts Gears On Ivermectin. After meetings and going over tons of positive data, the FDA has shifted gears on their position of Ivermectin, going from Reverse ("not recommended") all the way to Neutral ("not recommending either for or against the use of the drug"). An “abundance of caution” is one of their watchwords, along with the foot dragging of demanding endless large scale double blind clinical trials. Unless it’s for some new, untested, high profit drug from Big Pharm, which can sometimes get an EUA in a matter of minutes. I don’t want to get all cynical this early in the morning.

Meanwhile, a judge in NY had to step in to FORCE a hospital to continue giving an old lady Ivermectin. She was on a ventilator in the ICU, situation hopeless. Her family did their research and convinced her doctor to give Ivermectin a try. And it was yet another Ivermectin miracle:

By Jan 2, the hospital doctor approved the first dose of the anti-parasite drug, according to court papers. The result: “a complete turnaround.” Apparently, within 48 hours, she was taken off the ventilator and transferred out of the ICU, reports the Buffalo News based on a review of court documents. However, once she was transferred to a different wing of the hospital, the doctors there refused to administer the drug, and the woman’s condition quickly worsened. Her son Michael declared, “We were astounded when they refused to give her any more doses.”

Gee, stuck up doctors acting like God, denying the evidence in front of their own eyes? Such a surprise.
So they took the hospital to court. And won.

However, Judge Nowak, on Jan. 8, ordered the hospital to “immediately administer the drug Ivermectin,” court papers reveal. Attorney Lorigo declared, “In 46 years as an attorney, I’ve never seen another case where a family had to get a court order to continue a treatment that had already been started by a hospital.”

Now, Michael Smentkiewicz reports that his mom’s condition now improves with the administration of Ivermectin. He was quoted by Buffalo News, “She called me (Wednesday) night. Her voice was raspy, but it was so exciting to hear her voice.” He continued, “She is sitting up in bed. She’s off the ventilator, but she has a cannula in her nose, providing supplemental oxygen.” She appears to be “turning the corner” in her fight, thanks to Ivermectin—and a judge. Perhaps, the son suggests, the “power of prayer” helps as well.

It’s going to be a long uphill fight. Naturally half the comments at the Buffalo News link above are anti-Trump, and some reference articles that are long out of date. With the ‘rona, documents 7 months old are ancient history. A year is something from the Stone Age.

OK, she’s up, so time for more coffee, her weaker blend. Then I’ll see what else is going on in the world, and if it’s worth writing about.

January 16, 2021

Nope, not much from me again. Sorry.

We lost 1-6 last night at cheap league. I bowled well. I pulled out all the stops in Game 1 and countered my team’s lackluster performance, finishing off the 10th frame with 3 strikes, giving us a tie. That was our 1 point. We lost Game 2 by 2 pins. Not one of us got a mark in the 10th frame. Not one. One mark would have given us the win. We lost Game 3 by about 52 pins. I was tired and hungry at this point, and starting to get grumpy at the pins. I’ve been doing this sideways hand cupped release thing, which works real well and keeps the ball axis close to vertical, but it tires out my hand, wrist, and bicep. I’ll have to start being Workout Boy if I want to keep using it, but this release is better than anything I’ve ever tried before, so I probably will. And take some rough sandpaper to the callous on the side of my thumb, which is still making it a bit hard to get my thumb out of the ball at the right time.

Whatever. Came home, made a double Manhattan, had a late dinner of some chicken soup she’d made into which I’d chunked up a big slab of ham. A small bag of cheapo brand cheese doodles as a side dish, and off to bed.

At least it’s a bit warmer today, and not raining. I still haven’t fixed the vacuum cleaner I use for my cleaning job. It’s old, a Hoover Wind Tunnel from maybe 20 years ago. Best vacuum ever made, at least in terms of power and speed. Noisy though. But at this point it runs 4 minutes then shuts down for 10, then lather rinse repeat. I think something inside is overheating, so it’s time for a major teardown and cleaning. Except I don’t really know how to take it apart, but it’s a vacuum cleaner, how tough can it be?

“Techno-Kakistocracy" and the “KarenWaffen”

an essay on the efforts to eliminate conservative thought and communication. I love the terms though, though what they refer to is beyond abhorrent.

American Thinker Closing Its Comments Section Is a Tragedy and a Warning to Us

This week Dr. Thomas Lifson’s blog, American Thinker, announced that it was closing its comments section.

It is news to almost nobody who reads American Thinker that a political witch hunt is underway. Parties in and out of government are looking for excuses to suppress and destroy voices that oppose the left.

Because AT lacks the ability to monitor comments in real time, and because our position that comments are a forum, not something we publish, is being called into question, we can no longer publish comments.

We take this action with a heavy heart.

In the past week, we’ve seen the freedom of expression of conservative voices come under direct attack by a techno-kakistocracy that cares for very little other than getting revenge for their middle school years when they were mocked by all their classmates (“you’re ugly and your Mom dresses you funny”) and forced to eat paste while donating their lunch money to the class bully’s 401k plan. These are not good people. They are not even emotionally well people. They are not acting in good faith to protect their employer from liability or others from harm. They are hellbent on making American society conform to the socialist hellscape in which they think they want to live. Please make no mistake, these people, not the people they censor, are the danger to the American Experiment.

How did this come about? A leftwing branch of the Karenwaffen called the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) trolled the comments sections of those two sites to find allegedly racist comments about BLM and the George Floyd demonstrations. With this, they got their allies at Google to shut down the cause of their wadded panties.

Just a couple of days ago, the same basic tactic was used by other actors against the gun-rights message board,, to get its web host, GoDaddy, to shut it down (see Amazon Partner GoDaddy Deplatforms the World’s Largest Gun Forum Website).

We know that we are being watched by people who are trying to build a case to shut down your ability to comment. It’s a fact. I’ve had comments screenshotted from here tossed at me on Twitter as evidence of our racism and desire for violence. I know there are agents provocateurs on the site who surface periodically to make blatantly racist comments and encourage violence and then circulate their own comments as though they had found it. There are others that are obvious mobys…lefties who spout the extreme stuff they think that conservative sites post. We ban those accounts as they are identified but we are constantly playing catch-up.

Go read the rest. If it’s still up by the time you get there.

Some more light reading for your weekend:

Top Catholic leaders speak up against NWO, Socialism, Lockdowns, The Great Reset:

Just when the complicity of the mainstream media had succeeded in making the transition to the New World Order almost painless and unnoticed, all sorts of deceptions, scandals and crimes are coming to light.

Until a few months ago, it was easy to smear as “conspiracy theorists” those who denounced these terrible plans, which we now see being carried out down to the smallest detail. No one, up until last February, would ever have thought that, in all of our cities, citizens would be arrested simply for wanting to walk down the street, to breathe, to want to keep their business open, to want to go to church on Sunday. Yet now it is happening all over the world ...
In Sacred Scripture, Saint Paul speaks to us of “the one who opposes” the manifestation of the mystery of iniquity, the kathèkon (2 Thess 2:6-7). In the religious sphere, this obstacle to evil is the Church, and in particular the papacy; in the political sphere, it is those who impede the establishment of the New World Order.

As is now clear, the one who occupies the Chair of Peter has betrayed his role from the very beginning in order to defend and promote the globalist ideology, supporting the agenda of the deep church, who chose him from its ranks.

Not all of them get to be heard. Some get canceled:

Facebook has censored a video of Cardinal Juan Sandoval Íñiguez, archbishop emeritus of Guadalajara, for suggesting that globalist leaders are exploiting the coronavirus pandemic to bring about a new world order.
“This pandemic won’t end in a month or two months, perhaps not this year, perhaps not in three, four, five, six years,” he said. “That’s what these men want. It will be a long haul.”

“It’s a tough, difficult situation, the likes of which has not been seen in human history,” he said:

“Bill Gates is a prophet and foretells the future,” the cardinal noted wryly, “and not only did he predict the coming of the coronavirus, but has also warned of a possible future smallpox pandemic.”

During the pandemic, Cardinal Sandoval has criticized the shuttering of businesses and services as disproportionate measures to curb the spread of the virus.

“What they’re after is a world government, a new world order,” the cardinal asserts in the video.

“They want a single world government, a single army, a single currency, a single economy, and also a single religion — that will certainly not be the Christian religion,” he said. “It will be the religion of Mother Earth, in the name of humanity and universal brotherhood.”

Of course he had to be shut down, falsely claiming the NWO is coming. Liar. The NWO is already here!!

Oh, and as for “prophet” Bill Gates ... given his views about eliminating at least half the human race, and his (MSM ignored) recent vaccine track record, how eager will you be to get a needle full of any vaccine he;s associated with?

To wit ... (although I don’t know if Gates is associated with Pfizer or their R&D in any way)

20,000 at this point is what I’ve heard today. All allowed to use deadly force.

The 20,000 National Guard troops preparing for pro-Trump demonstrations this weekend in the nation’s capital will be armed and permitted to use lethal force, the headquarters overseeing them says, marking a striking escalation in the way authorities there are preparing for repeat violence after last week’s deadly mob.

Maybe it will be 50,000 by Wednesday. I don’t think there have been that many troops in DC since the summer of 63. 1863.

On His Way Out The Door, Trump Flips The Bird

Cuts 3.4M Acres From Protected Spotted Owl Habitat

Take that, Leftist Greenies

The Trump administration said Wednesday that it would slash millions of acres of protected habitat designated for the imperiled northern spotted owl in Oregon, Washington state and Northern California, much of it in prime timber locations in Oregon’s coastal ranges.

Environmentalists immediately decried the move and accused the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service under President Donald Trump of taking a parting shot at protections designed to help restore the species in favor of the timber industry. The tiny owl is listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act and was rejected for an upgrade to endangered status last year by the federal agency despite losing nearly 4% of its population annually.
Timber groups applauded the decision, which won’t take effect for 60 days. More thinning and management of protected forests is necessary to prevent wildfires, which devastated about 300 acres (121 hectares) of spotted owl habitat last fall, said Travis Joseph, president of the American Forest Resources Council.

Loss of the ability to log in areas protected for the spotted owl has devastated rural communities, he said. The 3.4 million acres (1.4 million hectares) removed from federal protections Wednesday includes all of Oregon’s so-called O&C lands, which are big timber territory. The more than 2 million acres (809,000 hectares) are spread in a checkerboard pattern over 18 counties in western Oregon.

Been waiting years for this one ... hope it’s not just a rumor. Not that it will make any difference, as the media will completely ignore it.

Trump Declassifying FBI Steele Memos, Proving The Coup/Corruption

Once-secret documents will show Steele told FBI he leaked Russia collusion narrative to counteract Clinton email scandal.

Delivering in his final days on one of his last unfulfilled promises, President Trump is declassifying a massive trove of FBI documents showing the Russia collusion story was leaked in the final weeks of the 2016 election in an effort to counteract Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.

The memos to be released as early as Friday include FBI interviews and human source evaluation reports for two of the main informants in the Russia case, former MI6 agent Christopher Steele and academic Stefan Halper.

The president authorized the release of a foot-high stack of internal FBI and DOJ documents that detail significant flaws in the investigation and provide a detailed timeline of when the FBI first realized the Steele dossier was problematic, multiple government officials told Just the News.

Among the bombshell revelations is an admission by Steele that he violated his confidential human source agreement with the FBI and leaked information from his dossier to the news media in the final weeks of the election because he wanted to counteract new revelations in the Hillary Clinton email scandal that were hurting her election efforts. The former foreign intelligence officer made the confession in a fall 2017 interview with agents.

Steele, who was hired by Clinton’s campaign law firm to compile anti-Trump dossiers attempting to link Trump to Russian influence, told agents he had two clients at the time — Clinton and the FBI — and chose the interests of the Democratic candidate over the bureau in leaking.

Steele told the bureau that then-FBI Director James Comey’s decision to reopen the Clinton email probe in fall 2016 triggered him to leak his dossier details in what he described as a taking-the-gloves-off moment.

I don’t have time today for much of this bloggy stuff ...

Post Covid intestinal bacteria levels and variety may be associated with “Long Hauler” issues:

Major investigation finds a lot of shit that ain’t right?

Justice Thomas Sowell wonders if Truth Is Irrelevant these days. Pretty sad that a member of the Supreme Court has to write such an essay.

It is amazing how many people seem to have discovered last Wednesday that riots are wrong—when many of those same people apparently had not noticed that when riots went on, for weeks or even months, in various cities across the country last year.

For too many people, especially in the media, what is right and wrong, true or false, depends on who it helps or hurts politically. Too many media people who are supposed to be reporters act as if they are combatants in political wars.

Someone once said that, in a war, truth is the first casualty. That has certainly been so in the media—and in much of academia as well.

BLM. Bird Lives Matter? Australia wants to kill one pigeon that journeyed 8000 miles to get Down Under. Because bird germs and stuff.

We’re mad as Hell and we’re not gonna take it anymore!! An open letter to all politicians about everything. GFY, FOAD, but well written too.

Micheal Yon, about the best conflict reporter out there, finds DC very troubling right now. If the guy who reports from the war zones thinks the city looks like a war zone, take heed.

By His Bracelet You Shall Know Him?

The blog Redpilled says CapCop David Bailey is the one who killed Ashli Babbit. Says Bailey is a member of BLM, an immigrant from Brazil, was awarded the Medal of Valor by President Trump for his actions stopping the Senate ball field shooter back in 2017. Also awarded the Badge of Bravery. Lots of photos of Bailey with that bracelet on, remarkably similar to the one which can be easily seen in the videos of the shooting. And the shooter is obviously a black guy.

Several of the CapCops on duty that day are already out of a job.

I’m not sure about RedPill’s interpretations of the guy’s social media comments as foreshadowing a depraved psyche. Somehow they think he’s made threats to kill Trump in the past.  The site is very hard to read due to the background graphic. Highlight all the text and paste it to Notebook.

So this is either an amazing bit of research that the media seems unwilling to do, or a major slander.
It could be both at the same time; I have not seen or heard much angst in the news about finding out who the shooter is, or what the ROE was on that day. Which is odd, seeing how every other time a LEO shoots somebody, there’s always a big media burst followed by an Official Investigation.

RedPill also notes on parallel posts that Bailey has a degree in gym, earns over $120K per year, and “let US Rep Steve Scalise get shot in 2017”.

Bowling Blogging!!
Back in August at the Old Guys League start up meeting, what with a Covid and all, they decided they’d do a split season, in hopes that by January it would be over and the two teams too fearful to bowl in the Fall would come back. It ain’t, and they didn’t. But we did the split season anyway, and tonight was the first week of the second half. With our guy V still out with a hurt leg, we had Rick W as a sub again. He’s a pretty good bowler, he’s intelligent and pearsonable, even if he is a Democrat. Not a Socialist or a Leftist, just a regular Democrat. You can still find them among the older folks. So we were able to talk about the current situation in DC without going insane, and we talked bowling most of the night. His son Brian is on the opponent’s team. So there was good social interaction, which I like.

Conditions must have been just right tonight, all the planets aligned or whatever, because most of the 8 of us bowled really well all night. I managed a 205 in Game 1, and finished up with a 550 series. Not stellar, but considering I have a 162 average in this league, I’m a happy duck. Last week we won 5-2, but finished the first half in dead last place by a mile. This week we started the second half by winning all 3 games and taking wood by quite a bit, so we went 7-0 tonight. A happy, happy duck. Our guy Don, still bowling at 87, carrying a 125 average, pulled a 147 in Game 1, then had problems in Game 2 which lead to him getting the “dreaded” S***house score of 111. So he’ll get a roll of toilet paper at the end of the season. The three of us were able to analyze his problem and suggest the right adjustment, so in Game 3 he came back, threw 6 strikes in a row ( a bleedin’ miracle for him ) and earned a 208. So he was pretty happy too, and even got conversational for a while. How about that. I hate having teammates who just sit there, not a thought in their heads, having nothing to say, week after week. BORING.

So I’m hopeful that we’re off to a new beginning. Cool.

And at least we can say we’re tied for 1st place at this point, even if that doesn’t last long.

NBC NEWS: McConnell Won’t Reconvene Senate Until January 19

A tad late to impeach Trump, when Biden is slated to be sworn at in on January 20

McConnell won’t agree to reconvene Senate early for impeachment trial

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-Ky.) office told Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer’s (D-N.Y.) staff on Wednesday that the GOP will not agree to reconvene the Senate before Jan. 19 to allow an impeachment trial while President Trump is still in office.

A senior Senate Republican aide confirmed that McConnell’s office reached out to Schumer’s office to relay the message that Republicans will not agree to a Friday session to enable House Democrats to present an article of impeachment to the Senate while Trump is in office.

McConnell said in a memo circulated to colleagues last week that the Senate will not be able to handle business on the floor until senators are scheduled to return to Washington on Jan. 19 unless all 100 senators agree to reconvene sooner.

The memo stated that unless there is unanimous consent from senators, Trump’s impeachment trial would not be allowed to begin until 1 p.m. on Jan. 20, at which time Joe Biden will have been sworn in as president.

“It would require the consent of all 100 senators to conduct any business of any kind during the scheduled pro forma sessions prior to January 19,” the memo states.

“The Senate trial would therefor begin after President Trump’s term has expired - either one hour after its expiration on Jan. 20 or twenty-five hours after its expiration on Jan. 21,” it states.

Schumer on Tuesday disputed that claim and said that he and McConnell could agree to reconvene the Senate in an emergency session in the next few days.

He says that legislation passed in 2004 allows the Senate majority and minority leaders to reconvene the Senate at any time to respond to emergencies.

“There was legislation passed in 2004 that allows the Senate minority and majority leader to jointly reconvene the Senate in times of emergency. This is a time of emergency,” Schumer said.

More Kabuki theater from DC. Nothing to see here, move along?

Is this just an empty gesture from Mitch the post turtle? If all it takes is upChuckie and him to bring ‘em all in, then what’s the point of this “all 100” chatter?

Is upChuckie full of shite, as is usually the case? And McConnell can say that this isn’t an actual emergency, so GFY?

And, duh, once Biden* is in, then Trump is just plain old citizen Donnie, and citizens can’t be impeached.

But with McConnell’s office now saying that it will not consent to bring back the Senate early, no matter when the House attempts to send over the articles, the Senate will not be able to begin a trial until at least Jan. 20.

The Senate will meet for a handful of “pro forma” sessions before Jan. 19, but it is not able to do business during those meetings.

McConnell, however, is reported to be “done with Trump” and has shared with associates that he thinks a second impeachment could help the GOP exorcise Trump and Trumpism from the GOP.

McConnell has also not made any decision on how he would vote in an impeachment trial, according to sources. But he is upset with the president over his actions that led to the storming of the Capitol and Trump’s rhetoric on the election ahead of the Georgia Senate runoffs.

A source very close to McConnell also says the majority leader does not see this new impeachment as partisan like the previous effort that centered around Trump’s actions in regard to Ukraine.

Are you tired of begin screwed with yet?

Your almost daily Covid treatment update

•  Convalescent Plasma Not Effective For Severe Covid Cases. Yeah, this has been kind of known. Now it’s kind of proven.

The REMAP-CAP, an international clinical trial, involved with the investigation as to the efficacy of convalescent blood plasma on patients with moderate to severe SARS-CoV-2, the virus behind COVID-19, came to a halt as the investigators found no benefits. After reviewing the data of over 900 severely ill trial participants in intensive care that were treated with the investigational product, the team found this approach hasn’t helped improve patient outcomes.

•  Another city in Brazil is giving out Covid drug packs, with HCQ, Ivermectin, Azithromycin

Porto Alegre, capital of Rio Grande De Sul: Local public health agencies in Brazil continue to offer community and ambulatory-based access to COVID-19 treatments not approved or accepted in the United States and other developed economy jurisdictions.

A case example is the important state capital in the South of Brazil—Porto Alegre (approximately 1.5 million inhabitants). Based in the state known as Rio Grande do Sul, with an estimated population of 11.3 million population, under “Technical Note 1/2021 of 7/1/21,” the city’s public health department now offers not only Ivermectin but also Azithromycin and Hydroxychloroquine via the numerous municipal health clinics across the city.

The health authorities there seek a consistent and methodical early treatment of COVID-19 that includes 1) a medical prescription—available at the clinics from licensed physicians; 2) clinics with licensed pharmacist and/or 3) a signed “term of acceptance” to be attached to the clinical record; and 4) systematized care coordination follow up.

There is no national approval for this kind of thing in Brazil, but states and cities can do pretty much what they want to. And doctors all over the world are clamoring for out-patient treatments and national standards that support them.

And the canceling of a President continues

One little two little three little turncoats, four little five little six little turncoats ...

Fewer Than 10 Republicans Will Vote For Impeachment #2

Despite the widespread press given House GOP Conference Chairman Liz Cheney’s announcement Tuesday night she would vote for President Donald Trump’s impeachment, sources within the conference insisted to Newsmax “fewer than 10” House Republicans would join her.

“Not even 10 — fewer than 10,” one GOP lawmaker told us. He spoke to us under a vow of anonymity, following a conference call among House Republicans over new security measures in the House.

Cheney, the number three member in the House Republican hierarchy, was the second of three Republican representatives to announce their support of impeaching President Trump in the vote scheduled for Wednesday.

The other two are Reps. John Katko, R-N.Y., and Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., both of whom are considered more moderate than most Republican House members and have had public differences with the president.

Later Tuesday, Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich., announced he too will vote to impeach, Upton spokesman Josh Paciorek told Reuters.

Yeah, but ... the Dems already control the House, so that’s a done deal. And how big is the GOP lead in the senate? More than 10? Why golly, I believe it’s only 4.

And good golly, they’ve “had differences” with Trump in the past. So this is time for revenge? What, are these people about 5 years old?

WTF; how do you describe this kind of leadership is this, if you avoid the words “petty”, “self-serving”, “cowardly”, and “spiteful”?

Or maybe it’s major CYA, praying that the alligators eat you last? That ain’t gonna work.

OTOH, this would be a vote to move forward, not a vote to convict. That comes later, after they ignore the evidence once again.

We are so doomed as a nation.

Wow, I can smell the BS from here

As the House of Representatives is on the verge of impeaching President Trump for the second time, Republicans in both chambers of Congress are split on whether to support the effort in the tumultuous final days of the Trump presidency.

The House will start to debate the “rule” governing the parameters of the impeachment after 9 a.m. E.T. on Wednesday before taking two procedural votes. Then two hours of actual debate on impeachment will happen during the afternoon before a vote on impeachment, which will only need a simple majority.

The fissure goes from the top of Republican leadership ranks all the way down to the rank-and-file of the party’s lawmakers. And it represents an unraveling after the GOP remained largely united behind Trump for nearly his entire term, despite an impeachment, constant caustic tweets and policies that did not necessarily match Republican orthodoxy.

har har har. “Remained largely united behind Trump”. Yeah, with their knives out, ready to stab. Et Tu Brute? “Et Cetera”.  Guess FuxSnooze never heard of Never Trumpers or RINOs. “Republican orthodoxy” = “complain and make futile gestures while letting the Dems do whatever they want, forever”.

Going for the lesser slap on the wrist, trying to defuse the situation? Good luck. And Conservatives will now see you as traitors anyway.

Six House Republicans introduced a resolution Tuesday to censure President Donald Trump for trying to prevent the certification of the 2020 elections and allegedly incite rioters last week.

Reps. Tom Reed (R-NY), Young Kim (R-CA), Fred Upton (R-MI), John Curtis (R-UT), Peter Meijer (R-MI), and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) introduced a resolution in their attempt to hold the president accountable and try to calm the nation after the riots emerged while Congress certified the 2020 election results.

The House Republicans introduced the resolution as the House prepared to vote on a resolution calling on Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office. The House will vote later this week on Articles of Impeachment in another attempt to remove Trump. Both measures will fail, as Pence will not move to invoke the 25th Amendment and impeachment will likely fail in the Senate.

The House Republicans said in statements that they must hold the president accountable for his actions.

Good Heavens. Law Enforcement Integrity?

Multiple Cops Under Investigation For Capital Fracas

Federal law enforcement is investigating more than a dozen police officers in D.C. and other jurisdictions across the country for alleged participation in protests over election results, including at least two officers who were at the Capitol when it was attacked.

CNN reported on two officers who have been suspended following their alleged participation in Wednesday’s protest at the Capitol building:

One of the Capitol police officers took a selfie with someone who was part of the mob that overtook the Capitol and the other wore a “Make America Great Again” hat and started directing people around the building, according to Rep. Tim Ryan, an Ohio Democrat. He didn’t disclose how many other officers were under investigation but confirmed it was between 10 and 15, and didn’t say what they were being scrutinized for except that it was their behavior during the riot.

[Ryan’s] spokesperson said at least 10 Capitol Police officers are being investigated for their roles in the riot. A House aide separately said there are as many as 17 officers under investigation as part of eight investigations into the insurrection at the Capitol. At least seven officers in five other departments across the country have come under internal investigations as their presence in Washington during the assault comes to light through social media or other means. One officer in New York, one in Philadelphia, two in Seattle, two in Virginia and one in Texas are under investigation by their departments for potential rules violations. Additionally, some departments have been contacted by the FBI as part of their criminal investigation into the overrunning of the Capitol.

Gosh, an iota of good news to post about. And nearly breaking news too; it just happened an hour ago.

Pence Rejects Pelosi’s 25th Amendment Bid Letter

Vice President Mike Pence on Tuesday evening formally rejected Speaker Pelosi’s attempt to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office.

Pelosi is using the chaos at the US Capitol last week as a pretext to remove President Trump from office (again) through impeachment and the 25th Amendment.

Protesters stormed the US Capitol last week after Pence announced he would not reject Joe Biden’s fraudulent electors.

Not all protesters were Trump supporters, however the Democrats are using the Capitol riot as a vehicle to deplatform and demonize President Trump and his supporters.

Pence wrote Pelosi a letter rejecting her attempt to invoke the 25th Amendment which is designed to address Presidential incapacity or disability.

“I do not believe such a course of action is in the best interest of our Nation or consistent with our Constitution,” Pence wrote.

Nice defuse Mikey. It won’t last 48 hours, but nice try anyway.

Now the Boxwine Botox Bitch will try for peachmint. Because she is that effing insane, and peachmint is her favorite flavor of $25 designer ice cream.

PS - It was not a riot, nor was it an insurrection, or even a breeching. The small group of protestors, with numerous antifa amongst them, were allowed in and lead around by the CapCops. We’ve all seen the videos. As for a “riot”; at most it was a minor scuffle, and then the Capital Police murdered Ashli Babbit.

Most useful thing I’ve seen in the New York Times in years.

How The Novavax Vaccine Works

read about it here, with lots of helpful pictures

The Novavax is in Phase 3 trial in the UK, and will start an even larger Phase 3 in the US as soon as they mix up some more vaccine. This one has no mRNA going on inside you, no “deactivated” virus, no bits of virus DNA protien. Instead, they use moth cells to generate the ‘rona’s spike proteins, and only the spikes. That’s the bit that gloms on to your ACE-2 receptor sites on your cells. So by injecting you with a bunch of these, your body starts churning out antibodies and T-cell white blood cells like mad, so if you do the virus later, your body will be ready to fight.

There is zero chance of getting the virus from this vaccine. There are no side effects. You will not test positive for the ‘rona after taking it. No genetic changes to your body ( the mRNA stuff is done in a moth cell, not in you ). No glow in the dark enzymes in it either AFAIK.

To create their vaccine, Novavax researchers started with a modified spike gene. They inserted the gene into a different virus, called a baculovirus, and allowed it to infect moth cells. The infected cells produced spike proteins that spontaneously joined together to form spikes, as they do on the surface of the coronavirus.

A similar method of growing and harvesting virus proteins is already used to make licensed vaccines for diseases including influenza and HPV.

The researchers harvested the spike proteins from the moth cells and assembled them into nanoparticles. While the nanoparticles mimicked the molecular structure of the coronavirus, they could not replicate or cause Covid-19.

Novavax’s vaccine would be easier to distribute and store than the vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna. While those vaccines have to be kept frozen, NVX-CoV2373 can stay stable for up to three months in a refrigerator. But if the vaccine does turn out to be effective, scientists won’t know for sure how long it provides protection.

If it works like protein-based vaccines for other diseases, it may create a group of special cells called memory B cells and memory T cells. These cells will retain information about the coronavirus for years or even decades, enabling a quick counterattack in response to a new infection.

According to NJ, I fall in either category 1C or category 2 for my place on the vaccination line. Which means it’s going to be a good number of months until my “chance” comes up. I can wait. I figure by then we’ll know if the non-vaxxed with be canceled, so if it comes down to a choice between an injection and Camp Ayers, I’ll take an injection of this one. So far it’s just as effective, and it seems a lot safer and less franken-drug to me.

So here’s a link to another treatment protocol, this one from AAPS. It’s a two planar plan, with an HCQ arm and an Ivermectin arm. So it’s kind of Zelenko and I-MASK+, but morphs into something close to MATH+ for those in hospital.

Slightly dated - 4 days is a long time in the media cycle- but most accurate nonetheless. Daniel Greenfield on the Riotous Revolution That Wasn’t.

Much as in Charlottesville, marginal figures who were hostile to President Trump, to Republicans, and to conservatives, had taken center stage at the behest of the media.

The purpose of the entire circus was to provide a propaganda opportunity for the Left.

The outrage over the protests is a farce coming from a political movement that advocated terrorizing Republican elected officials, that aided invasions of Congress, and that supported the Black Lives Matter riots which, aside from terrorizing D.C., also wrecked much of the country.

There is a great deal of irony in quoting “a riot is the language of the unheard” to describe the race riots of a movement with unlimited political and corporate backing, whose message is heard all the time, but not to address a movement that is genuinely unheard. Before the fighting started, there was virtually no media coverage of President Trump’s speech and the rally.

Press conferences that mention election fraud aren’t aired. Articles and videos questioning the election are censored. That is the true voice of the unheard who are more so than ever.

Democrats and the media normalized violence when they were in the opposition and now want to normalize the suppression of political protests and speech as they expect to take power.

But media spin isn’t real life. And it’s a lot easier to break a country than to put it back together.

The putsch gathers momentum. We are approaching the nadir, falling into the abyss at warp speed, mere inches from shattering on the rocks. And the Left is laughing all the way down. This is what they’ve been working towards for 50 years or more.

Nancy Pelosi Announces Plan for Another Impeachment of Donald Trump

a href="">House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Sunday that the House of Representatives would move to impeach President Donald Trump again after some of his supporters stormed Capitol Hill last week.

“In protecting our Constitution and our Democracy, we will act with urgency, because this President represents an imminent threat to both,” she wrote in a letter to Democrat colleagues in the House.

Pelosi said that the president represents an “ongoing assault on our democracy” that requires immediate action.

She said that House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer would request unanimous consent to bring up a resolution by Rep. Jamie Raskin calling for Vice President Mike Pence to activate the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office.

“We are calling on the Vice President to respond within 24 hours,” she said.

If the vice president fails, Pelosi said, she will bring up an impeachment resolution on the following day.

She said that the act to impeach the president again would require “great solemnity” going forward.

“Thank you for your patriotism,” she wrote, concluding the letter, “Prayerfully, Nancy Pelosi.”

This woman is evil. Insane, pyschopathic, deranged, dishonest, and totally evil.

House Dems Introduce Article Of Impeachment Against Trump, Have The Necessary Votes

It appears President Trump is about to be the first to be impeached for the second time as The Washington Post reports that House Democrats, which just formally introduced an article of impeachment against President Trump, have lined up the votes to impeach him for his role in “inciting an insurrectionist mob” to storm the Capitol.

“We actually have the votes,” Rep. David Cicilline, the Rhode Island Democrat who has taken the lead in rounding up support for a resolution of impeachment, told The Washington Post.

“There’s no doubt about that.”

The article, co-authored by Reps. David Cicilline (R-I.), Ted Lieu (Calif.) and Jamie Raskin (Md.), states that Trump engaged in high crimes and misdemeanors by “willfully inciting violence against the Government of the United States.”

At the link above, ZeroHedge has a screencap of NBC’s Tweet of the Final Draft of the resolution.

Never mind that such a rush to judgement could screw up the country forever. OrangeManBad must go, now, in pain!!

Acting Without Authority, Outside the Law, Banks Freeze Conservative Assets, Threaten Blacklisting

Wall Street is slamming the lid shut on the coffers of its corporate political action committees and threatening pro-Trump politicians on Capitol Hill with blacklisting.

Following a week in which major social media companies cut of President Donald Trump and began excluding some of his biggest advocates in the wake of the Capitol Hill riot, some of the nation’s largest financial institutions have announced that they are halting donations to their political action committees and considering permanently cutting off politicians accused of attempting to “overturn” the 2020 election.

J.P. Morgan Chase, the nation’s biggest bank by assets and market capitalization, said it is halting donations through its PAC for six months. Citigroup, the third-largest U.S. bank by assets, is reportedly pressing pause on political donations for the first quarter of 2020.

Goldman Sachs put the kibosh on donations pending a review of “how people acted during this period,” according to the New York Times, with the likely result that it will exclude Republican politicians who challenged the 2020 election results. Morgan Stanley also said it is stopping political contributions. It is considering withdrawing support for any politicians who voted against certifying Joe Biden’s electoral college win.

Bank of American and Wells Fargo are still considering their response but are likely to follow the path chosen by their competitors.

Typically, bank contributions to political action committees and politicians are considered by the Americana public some of the worst intersections of money and politics. The current situation has given the banks a rare opportunity to pose as do-gooders, even while implicitly pressuring politicians to win back their favor by adopting pro-Wall Street stances.

Corporate America is also freezing donations. So far, Marriott, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Boston Scientific have said they will close their political purse strings.

The reaction to the Capitol Hill riot by supporters of President Trump stands in stark contrast to the response of banks and corporations to the Black Lives Matter anti-police riots and protests of last year. In response to those events, corporations pledged over a billion in support of Black Lives Matter and related causes.

Have you deplorable bitter clinger revolting peasants learned who your masters are yet? WTF, it’s the realGolden Rule. Whoever has the gold, makes the rules. And they have all of it.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere
It's been a long strange trip without you Skipper, but thanks for pointing us in the right direction and giving us a swift kick in the behind to get us going. Keep lookin' down on us, will ya? Thanks.

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
