A pensioner who says local children made his life ‘hell’ put anti-vandal paint on his garden fence to stop them climbing on it and throwing stones at his windows.

Robert Brown also reported the youngsters to police and was delighted when officers came round to speak to him.

He assumed it was to take details of his plight – and was shocked to learn he was being prosecuted for criminal damage because the children had got the paint over their clothes.

Their mother alleged that almost £4,000 worth of furniture and carpets had been ruined by the youngsters treading the paint, which does not dry and leaves surfaces slippery, into her house.

Retired security guard Mr Brown, 76, was hauled to court three times and threatened with a criminal record in a nine-month ordeal as he fought the case which cost around £10,000 of taxpayers’ cash.

It was dropped on the day it was due to go to trial last month. Last night Mr Brown, a divorced father of one, criticised the police and Crown Prosecution Service.

‘We are always hearing that the police don’t have enough funds, but how much money has been wasted chasing a prosecution like this?’ he said.

‘I’d had months of harassment, of these children making my life hell, and decided to do something about it. An Englishman’s home is still his castle and I was just protecting the home where I’ve lived for 50 years.’

Mr Brown’s ordeal began last March when he says he caught several children, who live in a council house behind his property in Hindley Green, near Wigan, throwing stones at his windows after using his fence to climb on to the roof of a council outhouse overlooking his back garden.

He bought some anti-vandal, or anti-climb, paint and put it in two-inch wide strips across the top edge of his fence and the outhouse roof, and warned the youngsters not to touch it.

Police visited him after their mother, Judith Ripley-Aitchison, 44, complained that her children had traipsed through her home covered in the paint, causing £3,750 worth of damage.

She denied Mr Brown had warned the youngsters about the paint or that they had climbed on to the roof and fence to get it on their clothes, saying it had ‘dripped on to them’.

Mr Brown was charged with criminal damage and asked to go to Leigh police station to accept a caution, but refused. Instead he fought the case which was thrown out after prosecutors admitted there was ‘no realistic prospect of conviction’.

I do not think this is the usual hype and scare this paper enjoys presenting everyday.

I really do believe this rat bastard should be killed but only very slowly. Bit by painful bit.

I understand reading the article that all the things mentioned are fairly basic.  There isn’t anything to suggest a detailed manual on how to build a nuke and deliver same.  What I wonder about, is what isn’t printed publicly.  With all that paper, we are told thousands of pages, there surely has to be some deep secrets the wrong ppl now have access to. At any rate, they have info and no matter how mundane much could be, whatever they have, it’s due to one traitor who should not be free to breathe.

Al Qaeda is using the leaks from US spy Edward Snowden to help its fighters evade Western surveillance technology, MailOnline can reveal.

The terrorist group has issued new video guidance based on what they have learnt about Western spying methods from the Snowden disclosures which have been made public on the internet.

The move confirms the worst fears of British and American intelligence chiefs who warned that Snowden’s betrayal would play into the hands of the terrorists. The video even uses footage of news reports of the Snowden leak, highlighting how ‘NSA is tracking millions of phones’.

The mail makes it look as if the news wasn’t out and about over a month ago. And more.
Spokesmen for the security services here have spoken openly saying Snowden leaks have caused great harm, and have made it much more difficult to track terrorists. Sure, that could be a ruse.  But either way, there isn’t any doubt that his ego enhancing leaks have done harm, and what he did was treason pure and simple. 
Even if our side managed to take him or get him extradited, he’d never get what he deserves, because the system would be more concerned with his “human and civil rights”.  And btw way, the same treatment for the slovenly slut who helped him escape. And make him watch.

It comes after David Cameron travelled to America to urge Barack Oabama to put pressure on US Internet giants to co-operate more fully with intelligence and security agencies in the fight against terrorism.

A seven and half minute video released by a media platform for Al Qaeda, and other jihadist groups, provides detailed graphics on how terrorists can avoid detection by what it calls the ‘FBI Secret Spying technology’ when using phones and computers.

It identifies Western countries, including the UK, and the computer companies that it claims works with them. And, worryingly, Al Qaeda has published a list of software packages to protect against surveillance and where to find it on the internet.

Spoken in Arabic but with English sub-titles it says: ‘Allah created us with a unique voice, this can be used to track you anywhere no matter (sic) you buy a new phone, simcard or satellite.’

It adds: ‘We will now show you some different ways how the enemy can track you and have a view at some modern war technologies.

‘All mobile phone providers use the same software, your device continuously is in contact with the nearest tower… As you are moving around your different coordinates are tracked and stored. All your calls, messages and internet history are stored in this same place… spies have access to these files and can know your daily routine, friends and what you are planning to do tomorrow night at that tall building…’

‘Every Mujahed that does not take the right precautions can be a tool in the hand of the enemy. With his phone, tablet or laptop the enemy can listen/record all conversations and meetings. 

Adrian Culley, a former senior detective with the Metropolitan Police’s Computer Crime Unit, who has seen the video, said: ‘It is clear the Snowden leaks have raised cyber security issues in the minds of terrorists. This video is concerned with techno fear and propaganda.

I’m Not A Soccer Fan Either, But This Is Too Far

ISIS militants have executed 13 teenage boys for watching the Asian Cup football match between Iraq and Jordan last week.

The young football fans had been caught watching the game on television in the Iraqi city of Mosul, which is controlled by the Islamic State.

The teenagers were rounded up and publicly executed by a firing squad using machine guns, anti-ISIS activist group Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently reports.

“The bodies remained lying in the open and their parents were unable to withdraw them for fear of murder by terrorist organisation,’ the group writes on their website.

Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently is a small activist collective which secretly documents the shocking violence and oppression ISIS has brought to their home city.

They said the 13 teenagers were rounded up by ISIS militants in the Al-Yarmouk district of Mosul, and executed in public.

The boys’ ‘crime’ - breaking religious laws by watching football - was read out on a loudspeaker before their executions.

The news of the horrifying execution of the teenagers comes just days after ISIS released a video showing two men being thrown off the top of a tower block in Mosul.

Charges found against the accused were announced by a masked Islamic State fighter, using a small handheld radio.

Reading from a list, he declares the men are guilty of engaging in homosexual activities and should be punished by death, in accordance with Islamic State’s radical interpretation of Sharia law.

The Iraq-Jordan Asian Cup game, which took place in Brisbane, Australia last Monday, saw midfielder Yaser Kasim, who plays for Swindon Town in the third tier of English football, give Iraq a 1-0 win.

It’s not like they were rooting for the Joooooooos. This was the homies - homies match, yet they still got killed for it? WTF?

And while I think soccer is pretty gay, it’s not really GAY gay, so how could watching it be Gay gay, or even gayer? This is pretty effed up, but this is ISIS after all. And they are as effed up as effing eff. Plus goats with chastity belts, for reals.

No, i ain’tn’t dead yet. A bit under the weather perhaps. Mainly I’m just being kept too busy. Wife has a bunch of days off from work again, so somehow I have no time for blogging.

We had a nasty little ice storm here. Most of it melted away, but for half a day it was like a skating rink out here.  And there was much spreading of calcite ...

I found out the hard way about a poor automotive product. I had this windshield spray over the summer called Bug Wash ... in very fine print it says “not suitable for sub-freezing conditions”. What a stupid product. Fine, maybe you don’t have to make the stuff out of antifreeze. But at least put a little alcohol or some propo in there so that it stays semi-liquid down to 10°. Nope. Who the heck remembers about changing out the windshield squirt? This stuff freezes solid at 32. Left me with a frozen reservoir and a popped tube. At least it was an easy fix when things thawed and leaked everywhere.

So, news? I haven’t really even watched any. Or spent much time online.

Alright, let’s take a quick look ... oh, sweet. HALF OF THE WEALTH OF THE ENTIRE WORLD is held by 1% of the population; the 80 richest folks have more money than the population of the poorest half of the planet combined. Gee, that’s nice.

Horry Clap. You know, there’s hardly any point even in “occupying” these rats and “redistributing” their wealth ... it adds up to about $400 per person, even if you can assume no distribution costs at all.

Billionaires and politicians gathering in Switzerland this week will come under pressure to tackle rising inequality after a study found that – on current trends – by next year, 1% of the world’s population will own more wealth than the other 99%.

Ahead of this week’s annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in the ski resort of Davos, the anti-poverty charity Oxfam said it would use its high-profile role at the gathering to demand urgent action to narrow the gap between rich and poor.

The charity’s research, published on Monday, shows that the share of the world’s wealth owned by the best-off 1% has increased from 44% in 2009 to 48% in 2014, while the least well-off 80% currently own just 5.5%.

Oxfam added that on current trends the richest 1% would own more than 50% of the world’s wealth by 2016.

The Daily Mail, or as LyndonB would put it, The Daily Fail, which is supposed to be a reasonably conservative paper, continually panders to left wing expressions and word usage.

The term “far right” for many people, conjures up extremism and Nazis and unlawful acts.  It also conjures up race hate attitudes. I’d be willing to bet there are any number of people at the center and even some on the left, who are very quiet about what they really think on issues of race.

So I guess we are to believe that all these people are far right.  Are they all Nazis then? 
They don’t even remind me of the KKK. 

I’d say they are rightly disturbed and even angry as they see the future.

Unfortunately, it looks like tonight, the islamist bastards win another round.

A far-right ‘anti-Islamisation’ rally in Germany has been cancelled after a ‘concrete threat’ to kill one of the protest group’s leaders was made.

Pegida - or ‘patriotic Europeans against the Islamisation of the west’ - have held weekly rallies, with more than 25,000 people at last week’s demonstration.

But police have banned today’s gathering in Dresden because of the murder threat against a founder of the group, which the protesters say came from ‘ISIS terrorists’.

The target of the threat is believed to be Lutz Bachmann, the 41-year-old butcher’s son who founded Pegida in November, the Guardian reported.

Bachmann has overseen the protests as their numbers have grown from a few hundred to tens of thousands in just months.

According to a post on Pegida’s Facebook page, a ‘concrete murder threat’ was received.

‘[The] execution was ordered by the IS terrorists,’ it said. 

Police have not made it clear who made the threat but said it came from a tweet, in Arabic, which described the far-right group as an ‘enemy of Islam’.

Dresden police chief Dieter Kroll said plotters planned to mingle among protesters before unleashing their attack, with no information on how it would be carried out, leading officials to cancel the demonstration.

Pegida instead called on its supporters to hang German flags out of their windows.

German politicians, including Chancellor Angela Merkel, last week joined a Muslim rally against Pegida at the Brandenburg Gate in central Berlin.

I had forgotten about this worthless anti-American large pile of walking crap.
Now I see headlines with his very ugly fat face staring out at me, telling us that soldiers doing a job and saving their own, are cowards.
I don’t think I should print all the things I would like to make him suffer with.

He and those like him are exactly why the west is lost.  He is breathing. They are all still breathing, and doing harm.  Not because of a difference of opinions. Because he and his 5th column actively unravel the threads that hold our civilization, such as it is, together.

Moore would soil himself if he ever found himself in a combat situation.  So easy to sit in your gilded cage and remark on brave soldiers.

In the immediate aftermath of the attack, Howard Dean opined on “Morning Joe” that the Muslims who had killed the staff of Charlie Hebdo aren’t Muslims. Not usually known as a leading Orientalist, the former Vermont governor shared his interpretation of one of the world’s leading Islamic terror groups, “I think ISIS is a cult. Not an Islamic cult. I think it’s a cult.”
Dean didn’t specify what kind of cult ISIS is, if not Islamic. Or what otherwise accounts for its strange obsession with taking over territory in Syria and Iraq to establish a caliphate and to impose a harsh version of Islamic law.  continue reading

Passport Seizures To Keep UK Jihadis Out

David Cameron is to fast-track plans to confiscate passports and stop those who have joined terror groups returning to the UK.

Britons suspected of plotting to leave the UK to join IS could have their passports confiscated under new laws, David Cameron has said.

Returning British jihadists could also be barred from returning to the UK for at least two years.

The new measures to combat terrorism will be introduced to Parliament by the end of this month, the Prime Minister announced.

(sure thing dufus. Give them a couple more years to train and pick up newer skills. )

In a speech to the Australian Parliament in Canberra, David Cameron said: “We have to deal with the threat of foreign fighters planning attacks against our people.”

The PM said the root cause of terrorism is not poverty or foreign policy, but “the extremist narrative” of hate preachers.

(that’s a fair statement as far as it goes. but he didn’t mention how peaceful islam is)

He said: “We must confront this extremism in all its forms. We must ban extremist preachers from our countries. We must root out extremism from our schools, universities and prisons.”

Under the new powers, police and border officers could temporarily confiscate a passport if they have “reasonable suspicion” that an individual is travelling abroad to engage in terrorism-related activity.

Those passports could be seized for up to 30 days with a magistrate’s review after 14 days - and they could be taken multiple times.

The individual would also be placed on a “no-fly” list for the duration of the order.

Fer gosh sake they can’t even deport hardened criminals and look how long it took to deport the hook handed one eyed preacher of death to the USA.  10 years, was it?  I can’t remember but you can look it up. Was very long time.

Those who persisted in trying to get back might then be escorted by UK authorities and could either face prosecution in the UK or be put on Terrorism Investigation and Prevention Measures (TPIMs)

David Cameron told the Australian Parliament: “Your Prime Minister has given a strong international lead on this, helping to galvanise the UN Security Council with a powerful address.

(not one word about firing squads or long jail time.  Oh dear, how frightening. Put on the list above.  Yeah. That’ll put the frighteners on them for certain.)

He added: “We must work with the overwhelming majority of Muslims who abhor the twisted narrative that has seduced some of our people.

We must continue to celebrate Islam as a great world religion of peace.”

Well, about time he got to that.  We knew eventually he would. Didn’t we?

WASHINGTON (AP) — Top Democrats are defending their appointment of a Muslim congressman to the House Intelligence Committee after protests erupted on social media, warning the move is dangerous.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi this week appointed Rep. Andre Carson of Indiana to the panel, which oversees the government’s intelligence departments and activities. Much of the business that comes before the committee is classified.

Anti-Muslim protests erupted on Twitter and other social media with complaints that exposing American secrets to Carson could be dangerous.

Democrats widely rejected that view. Pelosi said Carson is the only member of Congress to have served in a Department of Homeland Security Fusion Center, which provides intelligence sharing and training across levels of government. Carson also serves on the House Armed Services Committee.

Rep. Adam Schiff of California, the senior Democrat on the panel, called the protests un-American. He said including Muslim Americans in public policy issues is “an essential element in preventing the kind of alienation that has made too many young European Muslims vulnerable to extremism.”

Rep. Joseph Crowley of New York, vice chairman of the Democratic Caucus, called on his colleagues to renounce the attacks.

“We will never be able to grow as a society if we allow this kind of hatred and division to go unchecked,” Crowley wrote in a letter to his colleagues.

Lots of root causes have been proposed for the murderous Jihadis making headlines every day.  Lots of people have blamed colonialism, the Crusades, the existence of Israel, I think I saw one article where the writer tried to blame Jihadi behavior on Global Warming.

They’re all crap.

I came across an interesting piece about “lost” diaries of David Livingstone, the African explorer.  Turns out that they are real.  Livingstone had diaries that got messed up and were unreadable until recently.

A couple of boffins (that’s scientists if you don’t speak English English) worked up a laser scanner that finally read the 140 year old writing.  The tech behind it is fascinating.  The Smithsonian has a good write up, including some items from the diaries:

Towards the end of the write up, I read this paragraph:

“On July 15, however, Livingstone was abruptly woken from his stupor. The traders—his friends—went into a busy nearby market and began randomly firing guns into the crowd and burning down surrounding villages, killing at least 300 people, many of them women and children. Livingstone had never witnessed such an atrocity before, and he was “crushed, devastated and spiritually broken,” Wisnicki says. In Livingstone’s own words: “I was so ashamed of the bloody Moslem company in which I found myself that I was unable to look at the Manyema. . . This massacre was the most terrible scene I ever saw.””

140 years ago, Moslems were killing non Moslems whenever they felt like it.  The diary also revealed that these particular Moslem traders were slave traders.

It seems not much has changed since the days of Mohammed. 

Islamic Terrorism is Islamic.

The question is not “How many peaceful Moslems are there?” A peaceful majority is meaningless in this context.  Moslems are violent towards non Moslems because Mohammed told them to.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar.
