Rotherham Was Just The Beginning

Rotherham - with 1400 girls abused - is just the tip of the iceberg. This has been going on, largely unchecked, all over Britain for a period of 25 years.

Does the broader local Muslim community know what’s going on? Of course. Remember, the 200 prosecutions so far have been brought mainly against the gang organizers - not against the many thousands of men who have participated in these rape parties.

Also, the Muslim community has deliberately exploited white liberal squeamishness by threatening race riots and by warning off police that if they try to take the matter further they will report them for “racism.”

Hey Johnnie Englishman! What if it were 14,000 English girls gang raped, not just 1,400? 140,000? How about HALF A MILLION? Would that wake you up? No? How much gang rape of children will it take to get you off your big larded arse, out of the pub, and into action?

Sudden Weekend “Squalls” In Memphis

Saturday, a ”cat 2 chimpout”, a moderate spontaneous riot in Memphis where a mere two dozen black youths attack and beat several white people unconscious.

Late on Saturday night, a mob of black teens swarmed a Kroger grocery store in Memphis, Tennessee and proceeded to beat two store employees and one customer to the ground.

Police reported they had received a September 6 surveillance video showing the swarm of black teens pushing, punching and kicking the young store employees at the entrance to the store.

According to Memphis police, the group emerged from a restaurant in the same strip mall and immediately attacked a 25-year-old man as he left his car in the parking lot and headed for the grocery store.

Two grocery store employees ran to the man’s aide, and the black mob attacked them as well, brutally beating all three victims into unconsciousness.

Police report that the crowd of up to 20 teens were laughing and yelling “fan mob.”

All three victims were treated on the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

Video taken by customers on the scene attest to the viciousness of the attack. It shows screaming, joking, laughing black members of the mob attacking and kicking a white Kroger employee lying immobile on the ground.

Memphis Police Department Director Toney Armstrong released a statement on Sunday morning, making no mention of a possible hate crime.

Sunday, a ”cat 4 chimpout”, a large spontaneous riot in Memphis where more than 100 teens - all of them black - attack mall shoppers.

THV11’s CBS affiliate WREG reported that three people are now recovering after a mob of teenagers ran through a busy shopping plaza, seemingly picking out customers and Kroger employees at random to attack.

A video of the incident has been shared with local news stations in the area and is quickly going viral. It shows a young adult lying still on the ground as others repeatedly kick him and stomp his head. Other are seen being chased or knocked to the ground.

WREG said a witness told the cameras that the three people injured were attacked indiscriminately--two victims were African American, and one victim was Caucasian.

The news station added that the brawl happened at the corner of Poplar Avenue and Highland Street.

I am not sure if this is the same race rioting mob; this may only be one incident, and the known size of the mob grew from Saturday to Sunday. However, there are Kroeger stores everywhere. It could be two riots. Certainly it is two different videos.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV)—A juvenile has been arrested in connection with an attack of three people at a Kroger in Memphis, Tennessee Saturday.

WREG reports the suspect’s age has not been released. He is charged with aggravated riot and acting in concert: to wit aggravated assault.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police have arrested and charged three juveniles in connection with Saturday’s attack of three people in a Kroger parking lot.

A 15-year-old is charged with aggravated riot, and acting in concert: to wit aggravated assault.

According to Mayor Wharton, the teen was out on gun related charges at the time of the attack.

Wharton said the teen was not enrolled in school and his mother was previously charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

A juvenile court judge ordered the teen held.

There was no parent at the teen’s hearing.

Police have said the suspect is the individual seen in witness video wearing a lime green shirt.

Another 16-year-old is also charged with aggravated riot, and acting in concert: to wit aggravated assault.

A 15-year-old and 17-year-old are also with aggravated riot.

Does anyone know if crossing state lines to riot and commit aggravated assault makes it a far more serious felony, like when someone crosses state lines during a kidnapping?

Once More, Lafeyette, With Feeling

Nearly twenty years in the making, the 213 foot long replica French frigate went out for sea trials yesterday. Plans call for the oak square rigged 26 gun ship - a “fast light frigate” - to cross the Atlantic next spring to visit Canada and New England in time for Bastille Day.

The original Hermione was the ship that brought the Marquis of Lafayette over the aid George Washington, and she and her four sister ships carried several thousand troops, and stayed to harry the British and help the struggling colonists win the war of independence.

In those days crossing the Atlantic from Rochefort France by sail power alone took 38 days; the modern frigate sports a pair of hidden propulsor pods which could make the journey a bit faster.

A reconstruction of the 213-foot (65-meter) frigate used by France’s Marquis de Lafayette to bring reinforcements to American revolutionaries in 1780 has tested the waters for the first time.

The test run at high tide Sunday was a key step in an ambitious 17-year project aimed at sending the ship next year across the Atlantic, retracing Lafayette’s journey and the foundation of French-American relations.

Maritime and history experts and aficionados have made rebuilding the Hermione a major project for the French port of Rochefort in southwest France.

Ship builders and researchers have painstakingly rebuilt the ship using the same construction materials and methods as those used to build the original, from the pulley systems to the massive oak hull.

After some delays, the boat set out at high tide early Sunday morning from the Rochefort docks toward the Ile d’Aix. It is meant to be the first in several test runs before the ship sets sail for Boston.

To replicate the frigate exactly as it used to be, it was necessary to gather archive documents such as ‘L’Hermione’s log-book(s) and the blueprints of La Concorde, ‘L’Hermione’s sister-ship which had been drawn by the Royal Navy after she had been captured. To these documents, one had to add the informations delivered by the wreck of the original ‘L’Hermione’, which was discovered in 1992, off Le Croisic, where she had sunk in 1793.

Specializing in the restoration of historic monuments, the ASSELIN firm in Thouars was allotted the task of ‘L’Hermione’s timber-work. The association thus took advantage of the outstanding professional qualities and experience of carpenters’ fellows of the craft, as well as of the technical collaboration of Raymond Labbé, a naval architect from Saint-Malo and of the precious historical cooperation of Jean Thomas, a former student of Jean Boudriot, a renowned historian and a specialist in naval construction.

The undertaking of the project took place in conditions and circumstances as close as possible to those which had surrounded the building of the original ‘L’Hermione’, i.e. it took place in the double graving dock of the historical naval shipyard of Rochefort, “a modern city of the XVII th century”.

The construction of the frigate started in May 1977. On July 4th,1997, the American national day, after 3 years’ research and preparation, the ship’s keel was laid.

The new Hermione – also known as the ‘La frégate de la liberté’ or ‘freedom frigate’ – is an incredible achievement, especially as funds have come via donations. The ship and her armaments contain a total of 400,000 different bits of wood and metal, and there are more than 1,000 pulleys alone to build and fit. To provide the wood around 4,000 oaks have been felled in forests around France, the trees chosen for their natural curves. The gun carriages for the iron cannon barrels were cast in a foundry in Angoulême and transported by barge down the River Charente. On top of all this the modern builders have had to contend with safety rules over seaworthiness that didn’t really constrain their forbears.

Fifteen years after the project was started, the Hermione was launched in 2012, 65,000 people gathering in Rochefort to see her float in the water – the River Charente – for the first time.  The following year the masts were erected, towering above the Arsenal. Next came the crows nest, followed by the rigging, the latter requiring about 25 kilometres of hemp ropes.

The final stage of construction was completed in spring 2014 – the installation of the 19 different sails, all 2137 square metres of them and made from traditional flax.  Although virtually identical to the original, the Hermione does have one or two modern touches including an engine on board for safety reasons as well as a power generator for the comfort of the crew.

Still, sailing in the Hermione will still be tough for Commandant Yann Cariou and his 69 crew members – only 15 are professional sailors; the rest are volunteers trained up to sail and who will work in shifts. All have to be fit enough to climb the rigging in all weather and be prepared to live life as it was on an 18th century boat – sleeping in hammocks in often cramped conditions.

In April and May 2014 the sails were put up and the frigate was made ready for the sea trials which will precede the final exciting phase of the project – retracing Lafayette’s voyage by taking the ship to North America.

Now That’s Dope

Low-income earners living in Berkeley, Calif., can expect a groovier summer next year. The city unanimously has passed a law to provide free medical marijuana to residents earning less than $32,000 a year.

Starting next August, dispensaries will be obligated to give at least 2 percent of their marijuana—which can cost as much as $400 an ounce—to low-income customers.

Cannabis advocates applaud the progressive move, but not everyone is thrilled.

“Instead of taking steps to help the most economically vulnerable residents get out of that state, the city has said, ‘Let’s just get everybody high,’ ” John Lovell, a California Narcotic Officers’ Association lobbyist, told The New York Times. “I don’t see anything progressive about that.”

Berkeley Mayor Tom Bates defends the law, noting the benefits for those with health conditions.

Coming soon thereafter, city sponsored classes in joint rolling using gum-free organic papers. Seminars on making your own bong from recycled materials, and lessons on how to use your EBT for ultra-giant bags of Doritos and the family sized containers of Visine.

What the Germans could not do in the last war …. is nowadays doable on an even larger scale.
The continuous and successful invasion of the British Isles by foreigners.
The weapons this time however, are not bombs, guns, and dogfights over the skies of London and Southampton and Portsmouth.  The weapons these days are far more powerful and damaging.

The ‘rights’ industry and the former govt., the Labour Party and the bleeding heart, hand wringing bed wetters of the left.
The weapons now are …. human rights and civil rights and the right to a family life here in old blighty, even if you are a convicted rapist, killer, robber or simply someone here illegally cos you came with the other hundred thousand of the invading force.

Things have gotten to a point where the mayor of Calais says that Brits should be paying France but specifically her port city of Calais for the immigrants over running her town and causing chaos and riots.

Very large numbers of these latest unwashed masses of lice have come via Italy, where that government has softened it’s requirements and border controls, due to being over run by boat people.  The Italians as well I think, for reason I cannot relate to, appear to feel bad about a few hundred illegals that have drowned in the attempt to invade Italy.  I would think they might want to celebrate that nice fact.  But no.
The politicians at least, seem to think Italy has some sort of responsibility to save the lives of a sub human group.  Go figure.
So anyway …. Huge numbers of this flotsam find their way to Le Belle France.
And Calais has become a major gateway to the rest of Europe where the vermin spread, and breed, and increase their numbers beyond the ability to keep track of them all. And that’s far from all there is to report on.

Here is a new wrinkle to the wash.
Illegal immigrants are now targeting ordinary motorists and tourists by clinging to the undersides of the larger vehicles like RV campers and the like.  Called caravans here.

Of course many are welcomed by the usual useful idiots on the left.
Those dutiful devotes and worshipers at the alter of multi culture and diversity, which eventually means their own culture diminished and deleted over time. But that’s okay. One serves the church of diversity and multi culture as best one can. Even if means committing cultural suicide.

Anarchy reigns in Calais as migrants’ attempts to reach UK - ‘El Dorado’ -

Seventy years ago, the Voix du Nord newspaper declared that the Pas de Calais region of northern France had been liberated from Nazi occupation. British tanks had swept into the city of Lille and elsewhere only a few pockets of resistance remained.

One was the fortified port of Calais, which was to stay encircled for weeks to come. The Voix du Nord dutifully reproduced its historic front page yesterday morning. A Union Jack flew over Calais’s picturesque town hall to mark Britain’s wartime efforts.

But the current news is less euphoric, the entente far from cordiale. Calais is under siege once again, they are saying here, and this time the town’s former liberators, the British, are perceived to be to blame.

As many as 2,000 migrants from Africa and Asia are encamped in and around Calais, population 75,000, in conditions of considerable squalor. They are here for one reason and one reason only: to get across the Channel to Britain…

Sad to say, but Drew did force me back to the kind of posts that our late Skipper promoted me for. Thanks Drew.

This isn’t the first time that I got the ‘unable to post comment’ line. From now on, I will take a screen shot of that. Care to wager on getting that message if I comment against conservatives?

A very long time ago, way back in islamic history, some male figure somehow convinced the faithful, that the abuse of the female was the fault not of the abusing men, but the fault of the female.

If they “lose” it at the mere sight of a woman, it surely must be her fault and so ...  they came up with the idea of forcing women to cover up.

Bizarre. I can’t for the life of me grasp the reasoning of the young women, especially those who have been exposed to western culture and in many cases born here, deciding to go back in time and live like chattel. I don’t understand the attraction.

British female jihadis are operating a religious police force that punishes women for ‘un-Islamic’ behaviour, it was claimed today.

The al-Khanssaa brigade is a female-only militia set up by the Islamic State in Raqqa, Syria, with a key figure believed to be Aqsa Mahmood, 20, of Glasgow, who fled to the country last year.

Academics at King’s College London have identified three other British females as members of the group - and say there are about 60 UK women who have gone to Syria on jihad.

Most of these women - including privately-educated Mahmood - are aged between 18 and 24, with al-Khanssaa said to be seeking out people engaging in Western culture in Raqqa.

It is believed that US hostages James Foley and Steven Sotloff were both beheaded in the desert near Raqqa - and therefore the British women in al-Khanssaa could know who killed them.

Melanie Smith, a research associate at King’s College’s International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation, told journalists Robert Mendick and Robert Verkaik of The Sunday Telegraph: ‘Al-Khanssaa is a sharia law police brigade. This is Isil’s female law enforcement.

The press and I suppose the govt. spokesmen, continually refer to these ppl as British, but in fact, they aren’t. Even those born here, are not British.  They stop being anything remotely related to British, as soon as they defend and give support to outside forces, whose aim is the overthrow not just of government, but the forceful if necessary conversion and overthrow of the native culture.  I spell that treason.

The 47-year-old “ activist” said that while he views his British passport as nothing more than a travel pass, he would not move to Syria as he was born in Britain, and that if he were to try he would be arrested by British police.

‘From what I understand from people living there, they have security, schools are now being set up where their children are taught about Islam, and they have the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter,’ he told The Observer newspaper.

A 2013 report by campaign group Hope Not Hate labelled groups linked to Choudary as the ‘single biggest gateway to terrorism in recent British history’, and claimed he was the link between groups who encourage the safe passage of British and European Muslims into Syria where they join Al Qaeda-linked forces.

It also suggested that he should be considered a ‘serious player’ in the promotion and recruitment of young Muslims to terrorist cells.

According to the study, organisations affiliated with Choudary have encouraged in the region of 80 young British Muslims to join the fighting in Syria and may also have had a hand in the recruitment of 300 more on the continent.

Previously, the father-of-four from Leytonstone in East London has made statements about how he would like to see the Prime Minister David Cameron and the American President Barack Obama killed.

He is also known to have links with Michael Adebolajo, the Muslim convert who murdered Fusilier Lee Rigby.

However, Choudary has always been carefiul not to break the law and has never been charged or convicted of a crime related to terrorism.

He has only ever been fined £500 by the authorities - which came after he organised a protest outside the Danish embassy in London over cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed.

Choudary insisted that he does not know the British terrorist nicknamed Jihadi John, and seen in the brutal videos depicting the beheadings of journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff.

The man, who speaks with a London accent, was seen holding a knife in both of the shocking videos, his face hidden with a scarf.

‘I’d recognise his voice if it was someone I knew,’ he said.

Without giving his backing to the killing, Choudary said there were crimes which, under sharia law, were dealt with using capital punishment.

The former lawyer added:’If you look at the death of James Foley, you only have to listen to the person who is executing him to know that the blame is the Americans’ because of their own foreign policy. The fact is that decades of torture, cruelty and mass murder will have repercussions.’

He also said he had no information about the capture of British aid worker David Haines, 44, who is being held hostage by extremists, and has been earmarked as the next victim, following the deaths of Mr Foley and Mr Sotloff.

More history and culture, less cucumbers!

Now for something completely different—culture.

The Charge of the Light Brigade was a charge of British light cavalry led by Lord Cardigan against Russian forces during the Battle of Balaclava on 25 October 1854 in the Crimean War. Lord Raglan, overall commander of the British forces, had intended to send the Light Brigade to pursue and harry a retreating Russian artillery battery, a task well suited to light cavalry. Due to miscommunication in the chain of command, the Light Brigade was instead sent on a frontal assault against a different artillery battery, one well-prepared with excellent fields of defensive fire.

Although the Light Brigade reached the battery under withering direct fire and scattered some of the gunners, the badly mauled brigade was forced to retreat immediately. Thus, the assault ended with very high British casualties and no decisive gains. (Wikipedia)

Alfred, Lord Tennyson was the Poet Laureate of the United Kingdom and released his famous poem the same year.

What not many know (I certainly didn’t) is that Lord Tennyson lived long enough to record some of his poems. Yes, the audio is poor. Recorded on wax cylinder. Lord Tennyson reads ‘The Charge of the Light Brigade’.

What makes this worthwhile is that the author is reading his own work. I’m still trying to find a date for this. I’m sure you’ll agree that it is very early. He died 6 October 1892 (aged 83)
