Wildlife Shout Out

Still sick.

I got nothing today, so here’s a woozle warbling. How often do you get one of those? Never! So yer welcome.

image

The short-tailed weasel was caught on camera at the British Wildlife Centre in Lingfield, Surrey.

He can be seen opening his jaw as if in mid-song, before stepping down from centre stage and posing on a log.

The small but outgoing animal was captured by Welsh carpenter and joiner Geoffrey Baker, 58.

‘The little stoat was entertaining the crowds and showing off his vocal cords for us,’ said Mr Baker, from Afan Valley, South Wales.

‘He was enjoying the interaction with the public and seemed to love the attention that he was getting as people gathered round to see him perform.

‘I only took a few snapshots of him, but luckily captured this one, where he appears to be entertaining the crowds with opera.

No, Really?

Iraq: All that was won is now lost, or soon will be.

When the last U.S. combat troops departed Iraq in December 2011, they left behind a defeated al-Qaeda and an Iraq where traditional rivals Sunni and Shiite Muslims were sharing power in the world’s only Arab democracy.

Two years later, al-Qaeda has seized major cities where hundreds of U.S. troops died while fighting alongside their Iraqi brethren. The population once freed by the U.S.-Iraqi alliance has now watched those same jihadist insurgents return to command the streets and impose their will.

Indeed, Iraqis are threatened again by civil war over charges of treason and resistance to an authoritarian government. Many significant gains of the 8-year-long Iraq war in which more than 4,400 Americans died have been lost or are now threatened unless swift actions evict the insurgents.

“I fear it’s only the beginning and much worse will evolve,” says Fred Kagan, a military historian and former adviser to President George W. Bush and U.S. military commander David Petraeus. “And I believe it was avoidable.”

Dear Dickheads In DC:

Next time, just drop the bomb. We Teh People frankly don’t give a shit if a bunch of flea bitten wogs and sand niggers gets glow in the dark nuts before their faces slough off. They’d do it to us, first chance they got, and party like it was 1999 the whole time.

You can use bio weapons and poison gas too if you want. WTF. I’m sure by now your billion dollar dingbats have developed special formulas that only work on muslims, or only stay viable for 4 hours or so? I mean come on, you’ve been at this shit since 1948, and we all know damn well the R&D still continues out on Plum Island. And in a few other locked away secret places.

What, you don’t want to use nukes or bio? Fine. Then start up the MOAB production line, and start teaching those flyboys how to drop things while flying in large formations. We don’t need another $4 billion aircraft carrier or any of that solid platinum jerk-off crap you love to waste money on. What we need is hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of great big simple airplanes that can carry one bomb the size of a standard freight shipping container, carry it a long way at a high altitude, drop it, and fly home. Actually, a shipping container is much bigger than a MOAB, so you could easily turn them into MOAB IIs but just welding on some fins and a pointy nose. Or fit 4 MOABS in a standard container and drop them in even bigger bunches. Come to think of it, nearly any standard wide body passenger jet from Boeing is more than big enough to fit, lift, and carry half a dozen or more of these. Tear out the seats and cut a hole in the back. Fuck, give Boeing a week to CAD up a simple body that only holds bombs and uses the same engines, wings, and avionics. Toss in some basic jamming gear, stap on a dozen Sparrows, and you’re good to go. No bet at all that the smaller bodied bomber version would go faster and higher and even cost less. They could be rolling off the assembly lines by May at the latest.

Because it isn’t worth it to fight wars that cost American lives, if in a couple years the national leadership lets the wins turn into losses and the cost of victory gets flushed down the toilet between rounds of golf.

Fuck that. Bomb them all dead. DEAD. And we do not give an amoeba’s fart about “colateral damage” because there ain’t none over there in sandland. None, not from Turkey to Somalia and Mali, or from Marrakesh to Lahore. Bomb them all dead when the need arises, then come home.

Since you’re not in this to win, we don’t want to play. But we do want MASSIVE, MASSIVE revenge, and we want it all the friggin’ time. Thus, bombs. Lots. Big. Huge. 1200 at a time. Foom. War over. Nitey nite!

And not another dead soldier for your lying, back stabbing, feckless, treasonous foreign policies.

Never again.

Obama had put Vice President Biden in charge of overseeing many Iraqi affairs when he entered office in 2009, but a U.S. commitment to use diplomatic and aid programs to maintain comity between the government factions was never carried out, Hamid says.

JJOAPS. President Dickless can’t even man up and take responsibility for a god damn war. No, give this one to “plugs” Biden ... because it isn’t really “a big fucking deal” is it Joe? And then when (as expected and probably instructed) he gets jack-shit done, you’ve got somebody to throw under the bus. You cunt.

Like I said.

Never again.

No I ain’t drunk

Prednisone ... goes right to my head. Throws the body into hyperdrive, which is great for getting well fast. It also ramps up your appetite, and spikes your emotions. Oh joy.

Anyway, prescription meds notwithstanding, this is a neat tune. Heard it on the drive home tonight as an alternate selection on the Christian Rock radio station.

Nothing Happening, Go Back To Sleep

Long time top DNC operative Terry McAuliffe is now the governor of Virginia. DNC chair, master cash bundler, backroom deal maker extraordinaire.  As far as I can tell, it’s the first time he’s ever actually run for office. Guess there’s no point in working your way up anymore; might as well start out at the top, or as near to it as you can get. Right Barry?

“In Virginia, political progress in divided government is a tradition that we must continue,” McAuliffe said during his inaugural remarks. “I will work to live up to that tradition.”

At the top of McAuliffe’s list of goals is the expansion of Medicaid under the federal health-care law, a measure that Republicans adamantly oppose.

Shortly after his swearing-in, McAuliffe signed four executive orders, including one banning discrimination based on sexual orientation in state government and another forbidding him and his executive-branch employees from accepting gifts valued at more than $100. The cap on gifts also applies to his immediate family.

With him were the former president and former first lady and secretary of state.

“Would not have missed it for the world,” Bill Clinton said. “I’m so proud of him.”

Man, the Clinton Machine just keeps rolling along, doesn’t it?

Riddle Me This

A bit of confusion on my part here ... noticed a story that’s news this weekend that seemed to be news more than 2 years ago. What gives?

Gosh golly, those darned minority students. They seem to get in far more trouble in school than their raw numbers would imply.

So to fix this, DOJ boss Eric Holder and DOE boss Arne Duncan have a solution ... it seems they want the rules applied more leniently to those special kids. It couldn’t possibly be that those feral rodents are disprespectful violent problem kids, it has to be the system. Because racist!!

[Jan 8 2014] Holder’s New School Discipline Guidelines: Stop Targeting Minorities

The Obama administration is urging schools to abandon overly zealous discipline policies that civil rights advocates have long said lead to a school-to-prison pipeline that discriminates against minority students.

The wide-ranging series of guidelines issued Wednesday in essence tells schools that they must adhere to the principle of fairness and equity in student discipline or face strong action if they don’t. The American Civil Liberties Union called the recommendations “ground-breaking.”

“A routine school disciplinary infraction should land a student in the principal’s office, not in a police precinct,” Attorney General Eric Holder said.

Holder said the problem often stems from well intentioned “zero-tolerance” policies that too often inject the criminal justice system into the resolution of problems. Zero tolerance policies, a tool that became popular in the 1990s, often spell out uniform and swift punishment for offenses such as truancy, smoking or carrying a weapon. Violators can lose classroom time or become saddled with a criminal record.

[Jan 8 2014] Obama administration takes aim at cutting racial disparity in school discipline

The Obama administration Wednesday issued new guidelines on classroom discipline, seeking to end the apparent disparities in how students of different races are punished for violating school rules.

Attorney General Eric Holder said the recommendations were meant to protect the civil rights of students, and disrupt the so-called “school-to-prison pipeline.”
...
Holder was joined by Education Secretary Arne Duncan as he visited Baltimore’s Frederick Douglass High School.

Ok fine. Well, not fine. This is typical, absolute racism on part of this administration. There is not one word in here about dumping the whole idiotic Zero Tolerance crap thing. No, just don’t bother when the perps are black. Keep arresting those 6 year old white boys who eat their peanut butter sandwiches into machine guns. Right. Come on, did you really expect anything different? From Eric “my people” Holder? And from Obama, The Great Divider? The only amazing thing here is that Arne Duncan is white. Oh wait ... he ran the Chicago Public School system prior to coming to DC. uh hyuh, never mind. So this is just another case of “rewarding my friends and punishing my enemies”.

So what’s my problem?

Well, wasn’t this news 30 months or so ago?

[Feb 27 2012] Holder targets school discipline practices: ‘unacceptable,’ ‘destructive’

“We’ve often seen that students of color, students from disadvantaged backgrounds, and students with special needs are disproportionately likely to be suspended or expelled,” Holder said in Atlanta, Ga.

“This is, quite simply, unacceptable. … These unnecessary and destructive policies must be changed,” Holder said at the meeting, which was hosted by 100 Black Men of Atlanta Inc.

Holder attributed his claim of racial disparity in school discipline to a 2011 study that he said showed “83 percent of African American male students and 74 percent of Hispanic male students ended up in trouble and suspended for some period of time.”

However, Holder’s speech ignored the report’s conclusion that 59 percent of white males are also disciplined. He ignored other data suggesting that the different discipline rates roughly align with actual schoolyard behavior.

...

Holder’s speech reflects a growing demand by government-funded professionals for federal government intervention to ensure that school officials discipline students in each racial or ethnic group at roughly the same rates, without regard to classroom behavior.

[Summer 2012] Undisciplined: The Obama administration undermines classroom order in pursuit of phantom racism.
In March 2010, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan announced that his department was “going to reinvigorate civil rights enforcement.”
...
Black elementary and high school students are disciplined at a higher rate than whites are. To Duncan, that disparity can mean only one thing: schools are discriminating.

And so the Departments of Education and Justice have launched a campaign against disproportionate minority discipline rates, which show up in virtually every school district with significant numbers of black and Hispanic students. The possibility that students’ behavior, not educators’ racism, drives those rates lies outside the Obama administration’s conceptual universe.
...
This past March, Duncan released some newly gathered national discipline data. The “undeniable truth,” he said, was that the “everyday educational experience for many students of color violates the principle of equity.”

Principles of Equity?? “Behavioral psychologist John Stacey Adams originally developed equity theory in 1963. Adams’ theory states that, when people feel they are being treated fairly, they are more likely to be motivated to do good work; when they feel unfairly treated, they may not only be demotivated but actually may become purposely disruptive.

Funny, this sounds more like the illogical “Equal Rights means Equal Results” nonsense that the Left inhales. I don’t think equity or inequity has anything to do with it. Break the rules; expect punishment. Period.

But why is this new news again? Did it take these schlumps 30 months to figure out what they wanted to say on a press release??

I Wonder Where It Came From?

China has an extreme epidemic of diseased pigs in their country, so to manage their desire for pork products they bought up all of America’s pigs. (slight exaggeration) Now somehow America’s pigs are coming down with the same epidemic. Coincidence? Does PED have an unknown human vector? Because I’m thinking of how all those Beijing pork inspectors are over here, checking out the piggies at Smithfield, which they just bought for billions, and now suddenly Smithfield is all infected. Either that, or pigs just don’t want to go to China and can suicide by disease to prevent that from happening. Ya right.

Widespread pig virus threatens to bump pork prices

A virus that kills young pigs is roiling the U.S. pork industry, boosting prices in the $9 billion hog-futures market and threatening to create more pain for food shoppers.

The disease, which has spread to farms in 22 states, is cutting into pork supplies and prompting some traders and investors to wager that hog prices could set records this year. Lean-hog futures rose to a seven-week high a week ago and are up 6% since mid-December.

Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus, or the PED virus, appeared in the U.S. for the first time in April and has killed thousands of piglets since then. The virus, which causes severe diarrhea and vomiting, is fatal only to young pigs and poses no threat to human health or food safety, according to swine veterinarians. The U.S. strain is nearly identical to a version that curbed hog production in China in 2012.

Nearly identical. I think perhaps I rest my case.

The extent of the impact is unclear because farms don’t have to report incidents or death totals to federal regulators. Smithfield Foods Inc., the world’s largest pork producer, and other meatpackers estimate that about 10% of the nation’s sows, or adult female hogs, have been infected by the virus, which can spread to their offspring.

Smithfield, a unit of China’s Shuanghui International Holdings Ltd., said last month the virus could result in a loss to U.S. pig production this year of two million to three million head, or up to 3% of the industry’s total.

Yup. Case closed. At least in my imagination.

I bought bacon yesterday on sale for $3.99. I think that’s the last time I’m going to see cheap pork for a long, long time. Sigh.

Correction -
Further on down in the story, I refer to Hollande’s wife.
My error which was brought to my attention by the wife (mine) who reads closer than I have apparently.
President Hollande was never married to begin with.
But he did leave his “partner” and their four kids for greener (younger?) pastures.

OK … some background is necessary.
First … the President, Francois Hollande.

He was a rather nondescript member of his party.  He had no real enemies because he had no opinions.  The invisible man.
His party was split into several factions, and so he was able to slip in almost unnoticed, to a leadership position.  He brought forward the opinions and ideas of others as if they were his own.  He agreed with everyone and so he was one might say, everyman to his party.

It helped in no small way, that his live-in partner, who he left four children and a wife for, was an especially ferocious political journalist, who was able to get his promises across to the people.

Second … French privacy laws, most especially for public servants.

France has some of the strictest privacy laws in the world – but they are increasingly being flouted by a media trying to expose hypocrisy and corruption in public life.

At present it is an offence to publish information about a person’s private life without their express permission.

image

The love triangle between President Hollande, first lady Valerie Trierweiler and actress Julie Gayet has been known about for around a year. Miss Trierweiler is herself a journalist on the notoriously intrusive glossy magazine Paris Match.

(For American readers here. Miss Trierweiler is also referred to rather scathingly as, The Rotweiler or, the Twittweiler.  Depends on who’s writing about her.  Her style re. interviews is generally tough, she isn’t a pussy cat, she is also very left wing.)

Yet reporters have been scared to expose an affair which could have such widespread ramifications. Instead it has been left to French Closer, a rival of Paris Match owned by an Italian company, to test the privacy laws to their limit.

image

Closer frequently risks relatively modest fines and legal costs by publishing risque photographs.

Mr Hollande’s immediate predecessors, Nicolas Sarkozy and Jacques Chirac, all cheated on their wives.

François Mitterrand, the last Socialist president, kept a ‘secret family’ of mistress and daughter at the taxpayers’ expense without it being revealed until he was about to retire in 1995.

Alright so … I had originally ignored the story when I first read about it.  Big deal. Another political sex scandal. Yawn.  However, something else caught my intrepid eye as I was reading about it. ( oh alright. Not intrepid at all actually) I only continued reading cos I thought the other woman, actress Julie Gayet, was very pretty.  So naturally I had to read on.  But even then, I wasn’t going to post anything.
Until that is, I came across a mention of shoes.  Shoes? What’s that got to do with anything?  Well, the magazine has admitted that they weren’t actually able to ID the gentleman they saw 100%, but they noticed the shoes the caller was wearing and so were able to deduce that indeed, the guy entering Miss Gayet’s bldg, was in fact, the president of France.  Francois Hollande.

It also claimed that a second man seen arriving and leaving with the visitor was an Elysee security officer. The second man is seen arriving in the morning with what Closer claims is a “bag of croissants”.

Someone posted this comment of interest from France.

The irony of it all is that it now looks like the Parti Socialiste ditched DSK for DSK 2. It really is astonishing that he couldn’t keep it in his trousers for 5 years. And what of Valérie Trierweiler? What precisely is her status now? How can she justify being accommodated at the taxpayer’s expense? Although widely loathed here in France, the French were just about ready to accept her as the President’s companion but if she’s now been bumped down to number 2 then her situation is untenable. Unless of course, the French are now being expected to accept a president who practices polygamy. Hollande has really messed up this time. He’s failed to realize that France has changed. This is going to be a thorn in his side for the rest of his presidency.

image

Agence France-Presse in Paris

Judicial sources said Gayet, a blonde 40-year-old who appeared in one of Mr Hollande’s 2012 election commercials, had filed a complaint relating to an alleged breach of her right to a private life with Paris prosecutors on March 18.

image

The move came after she was reported or implied by various bloggers and websites to have become close to the Socialist president.

Mr Hollande, 58, lives with his girlfriend Valerie Trierweiler, a glamorous journalist for whom he left fellow Socialist politician Segolene Royal, the mother of his four children.

In a statement, Gayet’s lawyer Vincent Toledano said there was no basis to the rumours.

“The actress Julie Gayet has instructed my chambers to take legal action over the rumour, widely disseminated on the Internet, suggesting, with no foundation, that she has a romantic relationship with the president of the republic,” the statement said.

“She expects her right to a private family life to be respected as there is nothing to justify these claims.”

Gayet is an established television and cinema character actress who has appeared in more than 50 films. She is the mother of two children.

In the campaign video she filmed for Mr Hollande, she described the then-candidate as “marvellous” but also “humble and a really good listener.”

It was a performance that appears to have been sufficiently convincing to persuade some viewers her praise was based on more than admiration for Mr Hollande’s policies.

now what?

I guess our deep dark super freezing period is over. It’s wobby out. Just a bit below freezing this morning, so we had 2” of snow. Dry and sunny all day, getting warmer, so we had the fogs by mid afternoon. Wet and drippy by later on, it rained on and off all evening. Looked like it might be another freezing rain/ice storm, so we made sure to spread plenty of those little white pellets of not-salt ice melter around. Now, in the early part of the Middle of the Night, we’re gettting big fat drops of rain. Sounds like summer rain on leaves outside. Plop plop plop. But it’s just above freezing.

Maybe tomorrow will be less of a borderline day.

Hey, we won 5 ouf 7 in Cheap League. And the ladies saved our skins for once in Game 3. Yay, them! This team in this 16 team league is somewhere in the middle of the pack, floating around about 8th place. That’s a good place to be for a social league.

Now That’s Completely Unexpected News. Not.

US Labor Participation Rate Drops To 1978 Levels

image
UPDATE: A nutshell in a nutshell: one graph that says it all:
image

Obama came to power in early 2009. Read the whole post by Ed Driscoll

Two salient points to the above graph: 1) unemployment shot up the moment Obama was elected; 2) re-employment has flatlined, period. Plus or Minus about a quarter of a percent for more than 4 years. Dead, just like the “recovery” and the economy.

Want to make it look even worse? Take all the new government employees out of the equation. While in theory those people are working, the raw truth is that they are “earning” money borrowed from China at high interest. So they are not really contributing to GDP and are (or will eventually be) a drain on taxpayers. If there was a way to factor “underemployment” into the picture (those forced to take much lower paying jobs, even part time ones) the situation would be even meaner. 14%? 17%? I have no way of telling. But things are pretty bad and they don’t seem to be getting better.

image

image

Curious why despite the huge miss in payrolls the unemployment rate tumbled from 7.0% to 6.7%? The reason is because in December the civilian labor force did what it usually does in the New Normal: it dropped from 155.3 million to 154.9 million, which means the labor participation rate just dropped to a fresh 35 year low, hitting levels not seen since 1978, at 62.8% down from 63.0%.

Americans not in the labor force exploded higher by 535,000 to a new all time high 91.8 million

The jobless, laborless recovery continues to steam on.

In the late 70’s, women were just beginning to enter the corporate world, along with many other traditionally male work environments. The overall economy was probably only a quarter to a third the size of today’s. Not to mention how much smaller the overall population was.

Notice on the first graph that for a given time period on the early part, at least double - sometimes nearly triple - as many people lost jobs in an equal time period in the later part of the graph. Such curves would be mitigated by taking population size and age into consideration (eg growing population plus retiring Baby Boomers), but that would only slow the growth rate linearly; the “twice as many now” trend is still there.

And It’s Over, Over There

UK Census: 1 in 10 babies in England are now Muslims

Funny how the news, now, seems to be straight out of a Mark Steyn or Robert Spencer book, from back then ...

image

Almost one in 10 babies and toddlers in England and Wales are Muslim, according to new analysis of census figures published Friday, illustrating the growth of the minority community.

Some 317,952 children aged under five, or 9.1 percent, were registered as being Muslim in the 2011 census, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) figures show.

As a measure of how the religious demographics of England and Wales are changing, the figure is nearly double the 4.8 percent of the whole population who are Muslim, while fewer than one in 200 people aged over 85 are Muslim.

It is also an 80 percent increase on the 176,264 Muslim under-fives recorded in the 2001 census.

“It certainly is a startling figure,” David Coleman, professor of demography at Oxford University, told The Times newspaper on Friday.

“Continuing immigration from Pakistan, Bangladesh and India has been added to by new immigration from African countries and from the Middle East.

“Birth rates of Muslims of Pakistani and Bangladeshi origin remain quite high, although falling. There seem to be very low levels of falling away from religion among Muslims.”

Muslims have the youngest age profile of the main religious groups. Nearly half of Muslims (48 percent) were aged under 25 (1.3 million).

I’d say “I told ya so”, but I don’t know how to say it in Arabic.

I hate math problems like this

There’s an old, old, geometry question that goes like this:

A bear walks 10 miles due South. He then walks 15 miles due West. He then walks 10 miles due North, and is back in the exact same spot he started from. What color is the bear?*

Now there’s a modern version, one that’s unfortunately true:

A guy gets killed at the local convenience store and dies in the doorway. Customers continue to shop in the store, walking over his dead body, for the next 5 minutes, not even glancing in his direction, until somebody notices he’s dead. What color are the customers, the victim, and the killer?

sad.

Customers walk over dead body after Michigan man killed in store doorway

Recently released surveillance footage shows the moment Jheryl Wright was shot and killed in the doorway of a Kalamazoo convenience store — and the five minutes customers walked over his body to get in and out.

The mother of a Michigan man shot and killed in front of a Michigan store was outraged to learn that customers continued to walk over his body for about five minutes before anyone called for help.

Jackel Wright told WWMT-TV that she recently learned of footage from a security camera inside the Quick Stop store in Kalamazoo that shows the moment her son, Jheryl Wright, was gunned down as he walked out the door in September 2012.

But after the 24-year-old man collapsed, several customers continued to walk in and out of the store — stepping over the wounded man’s body to get through the door.

“When they told me people were still coming in that gas station, stepping over my child in the doorway, I couldn’t believe it,” the teary-eyed mother told the news station.

...

The shocking clip — which was released during the trial of Clarence Ross, who was convicted last week of Wright’s murder — also shows the clerk continue to deal with customers even after he glances down at Wright’s body.

Ross, 32, was found guilty of open murder, solicitation of murder and felony use of a firearm. He was slated to be sentenced on Jan. 13.

Kalamazoo Michigan is about halfway between Chicago Illinois to the West and Detroit Michigan to the East.

image

As if this wasn’t bad enough … it gets worse. Over in Wichita Kansas ...

On Sunday, December 29, 43-year-old Danielle Zimmerman suffered a brain aneurysm after she pulled into the parking lot of Taco Bell in the 3700 block of East Harry. As she lay unconscious in her SUV, her purse, iPhone and wedding ring were stolen. She died at a local hospital the next day.

Children sledding later found her discarded purse near I-135 and Mount Vernon, but several credit cards, cash, phone and wedding ring were still missing.

Monday morning, police announced that they arrested two 19-year-old men in connection to the theft. Acting on a Crime Stoppers tip, the men were arrested Friday night in the 1600 block of South Broadway.

Quanique Dontrell Thomas-Hameen was booked for robbery, failure to appear and driving while suspended. Daquantrius Shaquill Johnson was booked for robbery, possession of a firearm and probation violation.

OMG, I can’t even pronounce those “names”.

stupid idiot judge asks for silence ….. read this one sitting down

Was not going to boot today .... it’s a bit late now.  Thing is .... I could not avoid it after seeing the headlines and reading the accounts and hearing the news on radio.

Two yrs ago you will all be aware ... this country went thru days of riots and looting and buildings burning and muggings and robberies and outright violent assaults of many innocent bystanders. And there was death as well. City after city was torched, and the excuse used by the vermin out having fun was the police shooting of .... A, a white guy ....  B, one of those protected others of a darker hue.
Yeah. Right.

Why the F*** is it that cops are NEVER given the benefit of the doubt, even when confronted by criminals? Whatever.

I do not have a crystal ball but my bet is that there might be some trouble brewing by those who could care less about another dead black gang member, who want a new TV or iPad or whatever else their tiny hearts and minds desire, and some hard core idiot white folks who dream of being black and want to show how multi cultural and diverse they are, and the usual anarchists who always take advantage of this kind of thing.

Well as you realize here the deceased is in the news again, because a jury has brought in a verdict in favor of the policeman who shot the vermin dead.  He had seconds to make that decision and yet .....  one damn fool asked the question, and I am not making this up,
“Why didn’t the police officer wait to see if the guy would fire first before shooting him?”

The thug whose death sparked riots - but who his family insist was a peacemaker

The 29-year-old was linked to ten shootings and two murders.

One of his teachers at Broadwater Farm Primary School remembered how he was one of the ‘most disruptive children in the school’.
Boyan Yordanov, 47, said: ‘All kids, both the well behaved and even the naughty ones, were frightened of him.

They never knew when they would be attacked by Mark. Sadly at this young age, he had become the epitome of aggression, as if there was nothing positive in this life for him.

‘His attacks were sudden, unpredicted and vicious. He had no concept of pain or the result of causing pain and he showed no mercy to his victims.
‘He would be reading a book and then seconds later he would be jumping on the chest of one of his class mates.

‘Once, over-excited during the preparations for a school party, Mark punched one of my female colleagues in the jaw. It appeared that at home he was watching wrestling all the time and was trying to imitate the wrestlers.

‘Everything related to violence fascinated him. Once he appeared at the school with a large knife. Luckily one of my colleagues saw him just before he entered the school.’
His behaviour worsened when he reached secondary school and he was sent away to live in Manchester with an aunt.

During the inquest his mother claimed Duggan returned to Tottenham several years later as a ‘well balanced’ man.

What was carefully omitted was the fact the one of Duggan’s uncles was the late Desmond ‘Dessie’ Noonan, whose feared family are ‘major players’ in the Manchester underworld.

He was a senior member of North London’s notorious Tottenham ManDem gang, which traded in violence, intimidation and drugs.

In the eight years before his death, Duggan was repeatedly arrested over a raft of serious crimes, including murder, attempted murder and a range of firearms offences.

his mother Pamela, 55, maintains he was a ‘lovely young boy’ who tried to keep peace.

Last night she refused to accept the jury’s verdict, claiming he was a peacemaker, was not in a gang and was no danger to the public.

It is a picture put forward by Duggan’s family and supporters ever since England burned during days of widespread disorder in the summer of 2011.

Back then, few knew of his association with some of the most feared criminals in Europe.

Go to this link and read about him. See the other videos and you’ll get then idea of what’s happening here now.

The thug whose death sparked riots

Look at what this officer has to put up with. If there were any real justice, the shouters who only want to allow their voice to be heard, would have a club rammed down their miserable throats. Scum. All of of them.  Take a look.

There is so much more I can’t get it all here but ......

Here is the major reason I’m bringing up this subject in the manner I am.  You know the brief background about the thug so now take an un F***ing believable look at what the trial judge has done in court.
If this doesn’t show show how stupid and fucked up people have become, I don;t know what else will.  Read this bmews.

Judge orders moment of silence for ‘notorious gangster’ whose shooting death by police marksman sparked wave of riots: Unprecedented move at start of Mark Duggan’s inquest

A judge took the highly unusual step of leading his court in a moment’s silence to commemorate Mark Duggan, the alleged gangster whose death sparked the 2011 riots which scarred Britain.
Judge Keith Cutler, sitting at Duggan’s inquest, asked everyone inside the courtroom to fall silent and to acknowledge the ‘regrettable loss of a young life’.

Later the inquest heard Duggan was a member of one of Britain’s most notorious gangs and was shot by a police marksman who believed the suspect was about to fire a revolver in a crowded street.

Judge Cutler, sitting as a coroner at the High Court, led the 20-second silence by lowering his head and clasping his hands together.

Addressing the jury, he said: ‘It is right that you should know that present in court today are a number of Mark Duggan’s family and friends and to acknowledge the grief of those family and friends and to respect that loss we will together just have some moments of silence as we sit here to recognise the seriousness of the hearing for which we are about to undertake.’

The request for a moment’s silence was understood to have been made by Duggan’s family and supporters.

A REALLY DUMB F*** FOR A JUDGE, A BUFFOON, A POLITICALLY CORRECT SCHMUCK

I ask you. Is this man a total fucking IDIOT or what?  So now that Duggan has achieved sainthood .... when will they give him a posthumous knighthood?  A “regrettable” loss of life?  Regrettable?  To whom?

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
