When You Hit The Chicken Porn, You’ve Gone Too Far

I was going to do one of those graphics posts, you know, like Theo does. Problem is, the internet is infinite and everything is cross-linked. So I started out with cute and funny animal pictures

and then started hitting the funny but risque stuff

are you the same sex as the one you were born with?

The Times We Now Live In

You could not make this up.

It’s a letter to the editor of the Daily Mail, and it really says something but I am at a loss to find all of the words its says.

It reads as follows and sorry, no link because I can’t find any letters on line at the Mail as we can at other papers.

I tried to complain on the Harrow council’s website about the traffic light phasing in Stanmore, Middlesex.

It’s a three way junction and the lights are green on whichever side side you are trying to cross.  If you can’t walk fast or run – you’ve had it.

After filling in the form with my name, address and details of my complaint, I was asked:  a) was I the same sex as when I was born; b) what is my sexual orientation; c) what’s my religion; and d) what is my marital status?

These questions were mandatory and if I did not answer them my complaint could not be processed.

When I decided not to proceed, another form appeared asking me why I had cancelled my original form.

I replied that I resented being asked personal questions that were absolutely nothing to do with me wanting to cross the road safely.

lets just treat those who are healthy or try to be

Saw something on page two of morning paper and knew yet again, no matter what I really wanted to do this morning, like bury myself under the covers and stay there until I fully recovered or lost weight, whichever comes first, I knew I had to boot, ignore the ache and share a very brief blurb.

After booting and coming here, I first read Drew’s post and went to the link he provided on ruining an economy.

Well talk about some things coming together.

Government

The state can never be too big. Ensure that it is unaccountable and intrusive, in constant need of more money and more targets to regulate.

I will of course go back and read the entire thing but that line stuck out because of this from one of our papers.
True, it is not at this time a done deal.  But it shows how some ppl think.

Healthy patients who exercise regularly and avoid fatty foods ‘should be fast-tracked for surgery’

Patients who exercise regularly and avoid fatty foods should go to the front of the queue for NHS operations, a think tank urges today.

People should be able to use supermarket bills and gym membership forms to prove they lead healthy lives and access priority non-emergency treatment, according to the centre-Left think-tank Demos. It also suggests that welfare claimants who exercise regularly should be given larger payments in recognition that they are behaving responsibly.

BIG Brother is out there.

your daily read

VDH: How To Weaken An Economy

Another outstanding essay by Hanson. Darn shame it can be summed up in 2 words: Elect Obama.

But Hanson shows you all the gory details behind that, as Rules For Radicals moves Forward! to destroy America.

It’s pretty sickening. But under Hanson’s pen, it’s a truth darn hard to dismiss.

Drink Up, The Water’s Fine!

Thousands of Dead Pigs Clog China’s Huangpu River

Tens of Thousands More Dead From Disease

“Water is safe to drink” say authorities

image

Hey, you want some free bacon with that pork fried rice?

At least 2,800 dead pigs have been fished from a Shanghai river since Friday, but authorities insist that tap water in the city is still safe to drink.

State news agency Xinhua said labels tagged to the pigs’ ears indicated they came from the upper waters of the Huangpu River, which flows through the center of Shanghai and is a source of the city’s drinking water.

It’s not clear why the pigs had been dumped in the river, though local media reported earlier this month that a disease had killed thousands of pigs in a village south of Shanghai.

“We will continue to trace the source, investigate the cause, co-operate with neighboring areas and take measures to stop the dumping of pigs into rivers,” the Shanghai Municipal Agricultural Commission said in a statement posted on their website on Monday.

As of Sunday, water quality on the Songjiang section of the river, where most of the pigs were found, remained normal and the incident has had “no significant effect on tap water supply,” the commission added.

However, local residents and users of of the popular Twitter-like microblog service Sina Weibo have expressed concern that the dead pigs would make the city’s tap water unsafe to drink.

“Huangpu river is the source of drinking water for more than 20 million Shanghai residents. And this horrific incident was only made public when residents started posting pictures on Weibo,” business investor Xue Manzi said in a post on his account.

The agricultural commission said it had tested organ samples from the pig carcasses and the results suggested the animals had contracted a type of porcine circovirus.

According to Professor Fred Leung, who specialises in animal diseases at Hong Kong University, this is a fairly common disease in pigs and not usually fatal on its own.

Pictures showed sanitation workers with sticks retrieving the bloated bodies of small pigs caught up in reeds and debris at the side of the river.

A local newspaper in Jiaxing, a city in Zhejiang province south of Shanghai, reported on March 6 that tens of thousands of pigs had died of an animal disease in a major pig farming village in the past two months.

“According to our records, 10,078 pigs died in January, another 8,325 died in February. More than 300 pigs die everyday in our village, and we barely have any space left to dispose of the dead pigs,” a local villager was quoted by the paper as saying.

Huh, and it was just about this time last year that I was writing about another bunch of dead pigs in China.

And rampant pig disease in China is nothing new either.

Kwame Kilpatrick Convicted

Former Detroit Mayor Guilty On 24 Counts

A jury on Monday convicted former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick of most of the federal charges against him—including racketeering conspiracy, extortion and the filing of false tax returns—in a case that accused him of using the mayor’s office to enrich himself and associates, CNN affiliate WDIV-TV reported.

Contractor Bobby Ferguson also was found guilty Monday of racketeering and extortion. Kilpatrick’s father, Bernard Kilpatrick, was found guilty of a single tax count, and not guilty on two others charges, according to WDIV.

Kwame Kilpatrick, the Detroit mayor from 2002 until he resigned in 2008, was the biggest target of a years-long Detroit City Hall corruption probe that led to the convictions of two dozen people, including several of his closest friends and former City Councilwoman Monica Conyers, the wife of U.S. Rep. John Conyers.

Ex-Detroit mayor got free trips from pension fund broker, feds say The former mayor was found guilty on 24 of 30 counts in federal court in Detroit. He could face up to 20 years in prison; sentencing did not take place Monday morning.

Federal prosecutors alleged Kilpatrick ran a criminal enterprise through the mayor’s office to enrich himself through bid rigging and extortion, and using nonprofit funds for personal gain.

In September 2008, the ex-mayor pleaded guilty to two felony counts of obstruction of justice stemming from his efforts to cover up an extramarital affair.

He also pleaded no contest to charges of assaulting a police officer who was attempting to serve a subpoena on a Kilpatrick friend in that case.

Kilpatrick could be facing 20 years behind bars. And of course he’s a Democrat. You can tell, because the CNN article doesn’t mention his party affiliation AT ALL.

The comments there are very hot, and mention something about his wife supposedly killing a stripper. That’s a story I’ve heard nothing about, and is not part of this group of convictions.

curious bit of old technology wedded to new?

Happen to see this and went to you tube for the video.
Pardon my slow working brain but, how does this actually work out to be easier?
Also, I noticed the video is a year old so, if it’s the future then why by this time hasn’t it been advertised more?
Not being a nerdy sort , these things always get away from me and I need someone to splain.

Our Modern World

Spring Forward Into Daylight Savings Time

Yes, it’s that day again. Spring Forward, Fall Back. Time to change the clocks all around your house.

Funny thing though ...

I changed the time on the car radios.
I changed the time on the old television.
I changed the time on the toaster.
I changed the time on the stove.
I changed the time on both coffee pots.
I changed the time on the microwave.
I changed the time on the wall phone.
I noticed that the iPad had changed itself.
I noticed that the PC had changed itself.
I noticed that the HDTV had changed itself.
I noticed that our cellphones had changed themselves.

I looked all around the house, and finally ...

I found an actual clock in the bedroom.  So I changed it too. I think there’s another one in the other bedroom.

Ordinarily I’d check the smoke alarm and CO batteries, but I know I put fresh ones in when we moved here in November. So I’m good for now.

welcome to the mean streets where, You don’t have to do a thing to become a victim.

I’ve been catching up on some posts and especially taken with this comment from Drew.

This is a terrible, senseless thing. The deranged and violent walk among us, armed. You don’t have to do a thing to become a victim, not even make eye contact. Obviously telling them “no” or telling them not to kill doesn’t work. At all. And even with massive nationwide gun control, horrifying violent crime still goes on every day in the UK. Even if race isn’t a factor at all.

He was referring to other things and especially that poor young girl killed on a bus by a deranged darkie ni negro guy.

Anyway, the way Drew puts things one would think the street here weren’t safer than America.
Lets see.

‘Casino killer’ stalked gambler after watching him win £3,000 before stabbing him to death in brutal robbery and boasting to friends ‘drinks are on me’
By Paul Milligan

Mohammed Muqtar was handed a life term after stabbing a gambler to death who had won £3,000 at a casino

A man has been handed a life term after stabbing a gambler to death who had won £3,000 at a casino.

Mohammed Muqtar, 25, was found guilty of murdering Shaspal Singh Bahra, 46, following a five-day trial at Birmingham Crown Court.

Muqtar, from Birmingham, went to the Gala Casino on Hill Street in the city centre with the intention of identifying a victim who had won money last May.

Mr Bahra cashed in his £3,000 winnings and left the casino. Muqtar followed him and fatally stabbed him with a knife. Later that night he called friends asking if they wanted to party.

When one declined as he was short of money Muqtar told him ‘not to worry’, saying to another friend that ‘the drinks are on me’.

Judge Melbourne Inman QC handed Muqtar a life sentence and ordered him to serve a minimum of 30 years in prison, the Crown Prosecution Service said.

Murderer who beat victim with frying pan then stabbed her TWENTY-FIVE times is allowed to get her picture from his legal file then keep it in his cell so he can boast to prison inmates

· Former inmate claims Reece Ludlow boasted of mother-of-three’s murder

· Prisoners given case file which can include pictures of victims

· MoJ instructed Prison Service to place restrictions on material

By James Rush

A murderer who repeatedly stabbed a mother-of-three was able to collect pictures of his victim and boast about his deed to prison inmates, it has been claimed.

The revelation, which exposes how murderers and rapists in Britain’s prisons are able to collect pictures of their victims’ bodies, came to light following a claim by a former inmate at Belmarsh Prison, in south east London, who said killer Reece Ludlow boasted of murdering Louisa Brannan, according to the Sunday Mirror.

The Ministry of Justice has ordered a review following reports which suggested inmates were free to access pictures in legal files, which they were then able to share with other prisoners.

The battered face of a 15-year-old kicked ‘like a human football’ by gang of yobs in case of mistaken identity

· Mother barely recognised her son after beating by burly gang

· He was in ‘the wrong place at the wrong time’ say police

image

This shocking picture shows the battered face of an innocent schoolboy beaten so savagely by ‘shameless’ thugs his own mother barely recognised him.

The 15-year old slightly built lad was confronted in the street and punched and kicked ‘like a human football’ in what police fear was a case of mistaken identity.
He and his friends had earlier been chatting outside a row of shops in Manchester on a Saturday afternoon when the gang of 12 men drew up in three cars.

The boys scattered, but the victim was targeted and chased down a nearby street before being repeatedly punched and kicked ‘like a human football.

He suffered severe facial injuries which required stitches and a broken arm.
Today police said the beating was linked to a feud between rival gangs but confirmed the unnamed boy was not involved and simply was in the ‘wrong place at the wrong time.’

They issued a shocking picture of the boy’s injuries in the hope of getting information to catch the attackers.

A 15-year-old girl was also hit in the face and suffered a fractured cheekbone and other facial injuries.
The boy’s mother said: ‘I barely recognised my boy when I saw him, such were the extent of the injuries to his face. I cannot believe that a bunch of grown men would attack an innocent teenage boy like this.

AND THE VIDEO IS HERE

Caught on camera: The shocking moment a teenager is knocked unconscious by vicious punch in unprovoked town centre attack

By Paul Milligan

Wiltshire Police has launched an appeal for information after an 18-year-old was punched to the floor in a vicious attack.

The unprovoked assault took place on Fleet Street in Swindon town centre, just after 2.15am on Sunday 3 March.

Released CCTV footage of the incident shows the teenager walking with a friend towards Bushwackers nightclub.

The force of the punch saw the victim sustain serious facial injuries including a broken nose, cuts to the face and loss of teeth.

In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: ‘The victim was completely unaware of what was about to happen. The offender ran up behind the victim and, with one very forceful punch, knocked him to the ground.

‘This victim did not stand a chance. I believe that he was unconscious before he hit the ground face first.’

diary of a fool

Shared something last week in which a number of you had things to say about the guy I was posting about.
Drew had a few choice words which fit quite well.  In fact you all did. Most did I believe.

Well, heeeeeees baaaaaak.

Yeah, the very same jerk writing in his magazine column today.

Just no way to resist this corny name dropper.  I wonder how much his Brit audience buys this stuff.

Get ready to be sick.

Former President Jimmy Carter will be judged more favourably in the future

Interviewed former U.S. President Jimmy Carter in San Diego today. And I asked him what his personal mantra had been during his time at the White House.
‘Never lie to, nor mislead, the American public,’ he replied, instantly.
‘And did you stick to it?’
‘I believe I did, yes.’
Carter gets a lot of flak for his one-term presidency, which many Americans saw as weak.
Yet, as he told me, ‘We never went to war during my time as President, never dropped a bomb, nor fired a bullet.
‘We also brought peace between Egypt and Israel, peace between the U.S. and most Latin American countries, and established good relations with China and Russia.
‘And we brought in an energy policy that cut America’s dependency on imported oil by half.’
I suspect history will judge Carter – a man of extraordinary energy and enthusiasm, despite being nearly 90 – much more favourably in the future.

Jimmy who?

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22

One of the most extraordinary coincidences of my life came in 2007 when I dined with Jerry Springer in Beverly Hills.
He recounted to me how he’d met Muhammad Ali a few months earlier, and The Greatest had revealed he watched Springer’s outrageous TV show every day.
I found this hard to believe, until we walked back to the hotel, a limousine pulled up as we arrived, Muhammad Ali stepped out and his wife shouted, ‘Hey, Jerry! Great to see you again! He’s still watching the show!’ I never doubted Jerry’s word again.
Tonight, I interviewed Ali’s daughter, May May, and she finally solved the mystery as to why her father likes The Jerry Springer Show so much.
‘Dad loves all the fighting!’ she giggled.

Oh nice.  That wonderful icon of good taste and promoter of .... what?
I can only credit Springer’s success to the fact that the culture really is in the crapper when anyone like him can be accepted and, here in the UK there was something called Jerry Springer The Opera a few years ago.  And Morgan thinks this sleazeball (Springer) is someone to admire and look up to.
And nothing to add re Ali who I’m surprised to learn is even allowed out based on recent reports.  And oh how convenient that the limo just happened to pull up.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY

I attended a flash, star-studded post-Oscars party in LA tonight, and quickly found myself in a corner booth with those delightfully naughty sisters Jackie and Joan Collins.
Between them they know just about everyone in Hollywood, as was confirmed when Joan whispered in my ear, ‘Would you like to meet Steve Martin?’ I looked across to see the great man sitting a few feet away. ‘God, yes – he’s one of my all-time comedy heroes!’
Joan didn’t hesitate. ‘Steve, this is a friend of mine, Piers Morgan.’
Martin looked up, smiled broadly, stretched out his hand and uttered the immortal words, ‘Hi, Piers – I really admire your work.’ I waited for the inevitable punchline, but it never came.
Martin, possessor of one of the most magnificently diverse and impressive bodies of work in showbusiness history, had actually meant it.

Later, I bumped into Jeff Bezos, the billionaire creator of Amazon.
‘We’ve met before,’ I said. ‘I sat next to you at a dinner in London 12 years ago when I was editor of the Daily Mirror newspaper.’

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26

Heather Locklear watched me record my cameo appearance
I recorded a cameo performance in a hit American TV legal comedy called Franklin & Bash today, and a few of the show’s stars came to my CNN studio, including the two male lead actors and famed Hollywood beauty Heather Locklear.

OK, since I don’t see any American TV here and never even heard (and no reason to) the TV show he mentions, would anyone here know if Franklin & Bash is actually a hit show?

I SAVED THE BEST BIT OF PURE BS FOR LAST.

Still on his campaign to discredit American gun ownership, he presents this to his Brit public, as though ALL American gun owners buy the same thing.
As if anyone actually believes we will be invaded by the UN under an armed force.  Nonsense.
First, we already have been and it’s been done without firing a shot.  AND .... mostly it’s been done by us. Well no not bmews.  But you’d have to be blind not to know that where we are today could not have taken place without home grown help and encouragement.

So here. Take a look.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27

I interviewed an American pizzeria owner from Virginia Beach last night, who’s offering customers a 15 per cent discount if they arrive carrying a gun.
He claimed he’s doing this to ‘protect my Second Amendment rights’ – but after further questioning, he revealed the real reason he thinks his fellow civilians should be armed to the teeth:

‘The United Nations may attack us.’

And yes, he really did believe this.

Homosexuals and Scouting don’t mix

As a local Boy Scout leader, I got an email to participate in a survey of Scout leaders. As you may know, for some strange reason, the Home Office is struggling with whether or not to let homosexuals in as members or leaders. I saved each and every question for future reference, but I was astounded at what was missing. Should the Boy Scouts, as an organization, adhere to the Scout Oath?

In case you don’t know or remember, the Scout Oath is:

On My Honor
I Will Do My Best
To Do My Duty
To God and my Country
And to Obey the Scout Law.
To Help Other People at all Times;
To Keep Myself Physically Strong,
Mentally Awake,
And Morally Straight.

That’s how I learned it back in 1968 when I joined the Cub Scouts. We’ve seen the havoc the Catholic Church has had to deal with by letting homosexuals become priests. Let’s not repeat the mistake. Homosexuals will prey on young men, whether in church, or on the campground. Period. Let’s keep the Boy Scouts morally straight.

you can’t have one

HK’s new 7.62 NATO machine gun. Versatile and adaptable, it fits the various mounts and tripods already in service. The new design shaves several pounds off the current gun. Fast change barrel system allows the gun crew to take a smoked barrel off in seconds and just drop it in a puddle or a bucket of water to cool it down, and a spare barrel goes on just as fast. Looks to me like it’s a Browning style cycling barrel, and the spring mounting (an a muzzle brake?) cuts recoil and muzzle climb to just about nothing. Pretty ferocious gun.
