Open the gates and let in the flood

Muslim Population of Britain Doubles In 10 Years

White People Now A Minority. In LONDON ENGLAND.

1 in 3 immigrants to England bows down to the pedophile prophet. Game over.

The national census for England and Wales has come out, and, as usual, this once-a-decade event has had all of its most significant points overlooked.

By any measure, what it reveals is a country undergoing seismic change. Over the course of a decade up to four million more people have entered the country to live. In the capital, London, people identifying themselves as “white British” have for the first time become a minority. Perhaps most strikingly, the national Muslim population has doubled.

This last fact is perhaps one of the least considered of the census so far. Doubled? Surely not. This has to be the claim of Mark Steyn or some other demographics-obsessed nut. Well no, it isn’t, and it is now official: between 2001 and 2011 the Muslim population of the UK rose from 1.5 million to 2.7 million. Otherwise put, that is an increase from 3 percent to 4.8 percent of the overall population.

If in 2001 the British Prime Minister had said to the British public that over the next decade he intended to double the number of Muslims in the country, he would most likely never have been returned to office. But of course he did not say that, any more than any of his successors or predecessors did.

1.3 million from 4 million: 1 out of 3. Not to mention the hordes of Saudis and Pakis that have already been there for generations, owning all the big real estate and running all the little shops.

The London Evening Standard welcomed the news that white British-born people had become a minority in their own city, and ran a lead opinion piece accusing anybody unhappy about the doubling of the number of Muslims of being “Islamophobes.” Since then, the comments have barely gotten more enlightened. The author Will Self declared on the BBC’s leading talk show Question Time that people unhappy about the direction Britain is going on are “racists.”

Of course much of this simply confirms what the last Labour government appears to have intended. Three years ago, in the same Evening Standard, Andrew Neather, a former adviser to the Blair government, said that the huge upsurge in immigration over the last decade was in part due to a politically motivated attempt by Labour ministers radically to alter the country and “rub the Right’s nose in diversity.’”

He went on to say that Labour’s relaxation of immigration controls was a deliberate plan to “open up the UK to mass migration,” but that ministers were nervous about discussing this move publicly because they feared that it would alienate their “core working class vote.”

Well, they have certainly managed to do what they wanted

There you have it. Even in an already far left leaning country, the ultra-left will push and push and push until they get what they want ... which is violent anarchy among the proles, ruled by the smallest group of monied hereditary elites. Lords and slaves. And they call that equality.

And Tie It All Up With A Bow

Did I write this article I’m about to link to? No. But a whole lot of it sounds like I did. Well, when I’m in a calm and considerate mood. Opposed to my usual “Hulk mad, smash!!” mood.

Anyway, anything and everything about gun control in one half hour essay. Written by a professional author who also happens to be a professional part of the gun culture. Unlike me, still bitterly clinging to my civvie status in both fields. grin

Anyway, read it if you’d like, and remember as much of it as you can. And always stay calm in the face of contentious adversity. Laugh to yourself as the loonies loose it, and remain factual.

the ultimate “gun conversation” link.

... and yet, in the comments, you’ll see remarks by people who didn’t even bother to read it, shooting off their mouths. Or from those who did read, but it was in one eye and out the other, without ever stopping off at the brain. We’re up against willful blindness here. Invincible ignorance.

MADonna, the has-been slag as uv never seen or heard her

Yeah well, you are a stupid fuckin self possessed ego maniacal bag of has-been shit.

I really wish someone somewhere would delete this worthless slag. Really I do.

Here ya go folks.  Here’s what happens when someone of a minor talent or none at all, somehow becomes an icon of some sort and the tone deaf and tasteless younger crowd buy into the hype. She is now God. She can decide what you see here, and tell ppl what to do in an open air setting, just cos SHE does not approve.

A couple of years ago, her brother did an interview in which he described her controlling behavior and her over the top sense of self worth.  Now we know that ppl should have some sense of that but hey.  She really does love, love herself. People were critical of him for his comments, but here we see first hand an example by her, of just what she is like.  She seems to forget perhaps some are ticket buyers. Although I can’t understand why. I suspect most go to see her gyrate and have sex with herself, which has been her act since forever. And sex sells. Be raunchy, get rich.

The Like A Prayer star said: ‘You don’t care about me? I don’t care about you. All right? Are we going to play that game?

‘I’m not kidding. I can’t sing if you smoke. Entiendes?

‘If you love me then don’t smoke. No smoking.

‘You’re looking right at me and smoking cigarettes, like I’m a stupid f**king idiot.’

That is some of what the would be world dictator told a small audience overseas during a sound check. Imagine that. A simple sound check, she sees one or two ppl smoking, and she explodes.
Tell ya what, speaking of explodes. She is in a part of the world that can be pretty violent.  With any luck, one of these folks will decide their honor or manhood has been demeaned by this white, blond Yankee bitch and, BOOM!  Oh what a pleasant thought. No, that’s too quick for her. Something a bit slower so she can dwell upon her final ego powered mistake, before things turn to black.

‘If you love me don’t smoke!’ Irate Madonna threatens to cancel outdoor show when she spots fans smoking during soundcheck

By MONTY ARCHIBALD

Even her biggest supporters will admit she is something of a diva.

And Madonna lived up to her hard earned reputation by threatening fans in Chile that she would pull out of her show if they do not stop smoking.

This was despite the fact the Like A Virgin favourite was playing at an outdoor arena in the South American country on Wednesday.

The drama, which was caught on video by fans, began when the aging popstrel caught a whiff of second hand smoke at the sound check before her performance in Santiago.

Madonna, 54, said: ‘There are people smoking right now. No smoking!

‘If you’re going to smoke cigarettes, I’m not doing a show.’

And when her rant, which she made in English to the Spanish speaking audience, did not have the desired effect she became even more irate.

the has been hag, scroll down and see/hear video

The same woman who was promoting the use of drugs in club culture earlier this year to get down with the kids - she really appears to be suffering from a number of senior moments / hypocrite syndrome

Modern Naiad

image

In Greek mythology, the Naiads were a type of nymph (female spirit) who presided over fountains, wells, springs, streams, brooks and other bodies of freshwater.

[perhaps they dwelt under bridges as well. who knows?]

There is water under that bridge in the picture. Eventually you’ll see it.

thoughts from our members

Delving into my inbox, once again. LJB sends this one in ...

Kim Jung Un

Kim Jung Un had NO military experience whatsoever before Daddy made him a four-star general.

This is a snot-nose twerp who has never accomplished anything in his life that would even come close to military leadership:

he hasn’t even so much as led a Cub Scout troop, coached a sports team or commanded a military platoon.

So guess what---next they make him the “beloved leader” of North Korea . Terrific!

Oh, crap! I’m sorry. I just remembered that we did the same thing here in the USA.

We took an arrogant community organizer who has never worn a uniform and made him Commander-in-Chief;

a guy who has never had a real job, worked on a budget or led anything more than an ACORN demonstration, and made him leader of the USA .

[and then when he played golf and screwed the pooch for four solid years, we re-elected him!]

Sorry I brought this up. Never mind.

Waiting To Hear From Haidrani and HuffPo On This One

On yer marks!

Get set!

Ho!

Three time US Olympian track star had second career as a $600/hour prostitute.

Whoops. Golly, maybe we should send a little stimulus money to our Olympians so they don’t have to turn tricks to make both ends meat?

Blonde and buff All-American mom Suzy Favor Hamilton confessed Thursday to leading a sordid double-life as a high-flying $600-an-hour call girl after she was outed by TheSmokingGun.com.

“I realize I have made highly irrational choices and I take full responsibility for them,” said Hamilton, 44, via her Twitter account. “I am not a victim here and knew what I was doing.”

...

The hard-bodied Hamilton — an Olympian in 1992, 1996 and 2000 — offered an apology and added that she was seeing a psychologist and hoping to keep her marriage and family intact.

The Madison, Wisc., resident is wed to her college sweetheart, and the two have a 7-year-old daughter. She began her illicit second career a year ago, according to the investigative web site. She said her husband knew about her escort sideline.

Oh wait, this was after her Olympic era. Never mind about the stipend idea.  Still, she became a call girl by choice, right? Exploitation?

Hamilton, whose career led to a Nike television ad and promotional work for Disney, was a middle-distance runner who never medaled but won seven U.S. national titles.

Beginning in December 2011, she was billed as “Kelly Lundy” for a top Las Vegas escort service — jetting to visit clients in the gambling mecca, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston.

So at least part of her new career was legal.

Ok, the ball is in your court no Ms. Haidrani. Get out your golden tiara and your red velvet “A”, and make the judgment. Was this one setting women’s rights and the women’s movement forward or back? Or is it Bush’s fault, since it seems she may have turned hooker for the money during this big bad Recession we’ve been having.

Ruh Roh

We had very heavy rain last night. I’m guessing 3 or 4 inches worth. It rained so hard that the sound of it woke me up, and we live in a downstairs unit.

I was just down town. The waters are getting awfully high.

If I had to choose a new name for Clinton, I’d call this place Confluence. Because Clinton is where 3 rivers come together: the Spruce Run, the South Branch of the Raritan, and the Beaver Brook. Granted, none of them are mighty rivers. And the Beaver Brook is a brook, though it’s one that is nearly as deep as it is wide. And right now they are all topping full. The South Branch carries all the water away from town. Right now it’s about 2 feet below flood stage. And the weather forecast is for more rain.

Ruh roh. I fear for all my pretty bridges downstream. Well, a little. They’ve dealt with this a million times before.

Media Brings You Your Daily Fear

Uninformed Ninnies Continue Knee-Jerk Idiocy

Oh noes, we must RENEW the Invisible Guns Act!!! Because there could be even more invisible guns out there someday!!

Horry Clap, a hoplophobic Luddite. Never thought there’d be such a thing, but there ya go. Rocks in his head, and his head in the sand. Amazing.

Activists worried as groups say

downloadable and printable guns possible

Downloading a gun’s design plans to your computer, building it on a three-dimensional printer and firing it minutes later. No background checks, no questions asked.

Sound far-fetched? It’s not. And that is disquieting for gun control advocates.

Rep. Steven Israel, D-NY, said the prospect of such guns becoming reality is reason enough for the renewal of the Undetectable Firearms Act, which makes illegal the building of guns that can’t be detected by X-ray or metallic scanners. That law expires at the end of 2013.

At least one group, called Defense Distributed, is claiming to have created downloadable weapon parts that can be built using the increasingly popular new-generation of printer that utilizes plastics and other materials to create 3-D objects with moving parts. University of Texas law student Cody Wilson, the 24-year-old “Wiki Weapons” project leader, says the group last month test fired a semiautomatic AR-15 rifle—one of the weapon types used in the Connecticut elementary school massacre—which was built with some key parts created on a 3-D printer. The gun was fired six times before it broke.

Oh fer the love of Allah. You friggin ijits. You udder maroons.

We covered this story - the Print A Gun - what was it, 2 years ago? 3 years ago?

It don’t work. Period. It will never work. Period.

Even if you had a printer that could use metallic powder instead of plastic powder, and build up a shape made from printed steel, it would not work as a gun. The Wiki Weapons people may have created a few parts for an AR-15 on their printers, but let’s get a group realization that there are plenty of parts on a gun that are not subject to the pressures and stresses of firing. For example, you could build the sites or the carrying handle out of printer plastic, and it would work for a bit. Perhaps, maybe, you could make a few of the trigger assembly parts the same way, and they’d work for a bit. WTH, these parts are made out of plastic on the “real” ones already, just a much better grade of plastic. But there is NO WAY IN HELL, EVER, that the barrel, bolt, bolt carrier, upper receiver, firing pin, or any of the springs could be plasti-printed and made to work, even once. NOT EVEN ONCE. You need forged steel or titanium to contain the immense forces created when you fire a gun. 65,000psi, and short term plasma temperatures nearly as hot as the surface of the sun. You can’t get there from this article’s here.

This is fear mongering journalism. Completely unhinged irresponsible crap ... brought to you by FOX NEWS. [2A fans take note: you now have NO friends in the media, not even Fox]

And even more frightening is that some bed wetter in government has already made up a law preventing such a thing, so long ago that it’s up for renewal. Horry clap.

You want to print yourself a “gun”? Google up “Alice papermodel”. They’ll see you the pages you want. But you have to print them on card stock, then cut them out and do a whole lot of gluing. Because they’re selling you a model. Granted, it’s a photo-realistic, 3D, full scale model. Realistic enough so that if you take your model to the mall you’ll probably get shot. But in theory you could download it. But in reality, it is not, never was, and never ever could be a functional firearm.

guns and a reported backlash against, while gun sales soar.

I wonder if you’re getting this news in the states also. Or is it simply for foreign audience?

The headline here was Gun Backlash Begins, and telling us that the backlash is gaining pace.  But, on the radio it has been reported that there has been a huge increase of guns and ammo bought in the fear that there will now be serious gun ownership restrictions in the form of much closer scrutiny of gun buyers.

Also noted that the Remington Co. would be sold off by current invester.  What the hell is wrong with these folks?  Seems like everyone is running scared and anxious to distance themselves from something they couldn’t control anyway.  I don’t see the news below as a backlash as I understand the word. I see a great number of frightened business executives trying to distance themselves from anything that goes bang.  A backlash to my way of thinking, would be a huge public demand and street protests by citizens other than the usual left wing whack jobs and opportunists who will protest anything.

Take a look.

Gun backlash begins: Tom Cruise cuts scene from Jack Reacher film, Quentin Tarantino’s Django premiere is delayed and financier pulls out of major gun firm

· Movie studio Paramount moving swiftly to review its promotional materials
· Jack Reacher isn’t the only Christmas movie laced with violence
· Tonight’s premiere of Django Unchained in Los Angeles also cancelled
· U.S. equity firm says it will sell its stake in the maker of the AR15 rifle
· Freedom Group claims to be the world’s maker of commercial firearms

By Daily Mail Reporter

A backlash against U.S. gun culture appears to have started in Hollywood and the business world in the wake of the Sandy Hook school massacre.
Scenes have reportedly been cut from the new Tom Cruise film Jack Reacher with movie studio Paramount moving swiftly to review its promotional materials before the picture’s release on Friday.

It follows gunman Adam Lanza killing of 26 people in cold blood, including 20 children 1st grade children at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut last Friday.

Paramount has decided to make several tweaks to the marketing materials for Jack Reacher, the gritty crime-action pic starring Cruise as a hard-boiled former military cop trying to prove that an alleged sniper was framed.

The studio wouldn’t officially say what the changes are, but a source told The Hollywood Reporter that a scene of Cruise’s character firing off a semi-automatic weapon is being cut from promotional spots.

Jack Reacher, rated PG-13 and opening with sniper fire, isn’t the only Christmas movie laced with violence.

Django Unchained, opening Christmas Day, is directed by Quentin Tarantino, known for his over-the-top violence. The R-rated Django stars Jamie Foxx as a slave promised his freedom if he helps a bounty hunter played by Christoph Waltz track down a plantation owner played by Leonardo DiCaprio.
Yesterday, The Weinstein Co announced it was cancelling tonight’s Django premiere in Los Angeles because of the school tragedy.

Stores including Walmart have stopped selling the Bushmaster rifle.

Dick’s Sporting Goods is pulling certain semi-automatic rifles from its shelves.

At a junket for Django on Saturday in New York, Tarantino said he is weary of defending the violence in his movies.
‘I just think there’s violence in the world. Tragedies happen,’ the filmmaker said. ‘[Django} is a Western. Give me a break.’

In scrubbing the Django premiere, The Weinstein Co. was following the cue of Paramount, which postponed Saturday’s planned Jack Reacher premiere in Pittsburgh until Wednesday.

It was also revealed the business world has reacted to the massacre with U.S. private equity firm Cerberus Capital Management saying it will sell its stake in the maker of the AR15 rifle, the weapon used in the Newtown school shootings.

Cerberus Capital Management’s move came after pressure from one of its own biggest investors, the California State Teachers’ Retirement System (Calstrs).
Cerberus bought Bushmaster in 2006, and more gunmakers since, merging them into Freedom Group, which it will now sell.

The firm said it wanted to avoid being drawn into the gun control controversy.
Dick’s Sporting Goods, one of the largest sporting goods retailers in the world, has removed all guns from its store nearest to Newtown, Connecticut, and is suspending the sale of certain kinds of semi-automatic rifles from its chains nationwide.

Lanza reportedly tried to buy a gun from a Dick’s Sporting Goods store in the city of Danbury, about 12 miles away from Newtown, prior to the killings.
The company said the reports hadn’t been confirmed but it was suspending the sale of so-called ‘modern sporting rifles’ out of respect for the victims and families of the Sandy Hook school shooting.

Meanwhile, Walmart has taken the assault-rifle model Lanza used to gun down his victims off its online store

lift that barge and bottoms up

OK just a bit of fluff before getting all serious again. Anyway, sometimes it is kinda nice to see women as they really mostly are, as opposed to the professional models and actresses.

Ah, just to be fair for once.

Ladies, there might be something for you as well, at the link for this article. I said ‘might’ cos I can never be sure.

Do women gape at men at much as we drool over women?  Might but perhaps more subtle?

The nude calendar for charity is a bit overdone, but it gives guys another excuse to look cos after all, it’s for charity.
Don’t matter what it’s for, feminists do NOT want us looking. Boo-hoo.

‘We’re just raising money for charity’: Female rower who stripped for naked calendar defends herself from feminist blogger’s attack

By Ruth Styles

A student who stripped for a charity calendar has hit back at critics who claim posing naked is tacky and damaging to the feminist cause.

Hettie Reed, a student at Warwick University, pictured second left in the picture below, said that singling out women is ‘grossly unfair’, adding that her rowing club’s charity calendar was ‘not about being part of some kind of watered down pornography.’

The rowing club calendar, which Hettie helped organise, is being sold to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, which was chosen because one of the rowing team’s mothers is suffering from the disease.

image
Calendar girls: From left, Jenny Clark, Hettie Reed, Fi Angell, Ella Peters and Lexie Titterington

The offending calendar isn’t the first produced by the University of Warwick rowing club either.

The boy’s team have produced naked calendars for the past four years, even creating a behind the scenes video called ‘Brokeback Boatroom’.

But while the boys’ effort has made a significant contribution to charity after being singled out by comedian Stephen Fry and singer, Boy George, the girls’ first calendar has come under fire from self-described feminists and Hettie is furious.

‘There are some sad people out there and it’s a waste of time to criticise people for making a charity calendar,’ she told MailOnline.

‘The calendar was done in a non-tacky, tasteful way - if you look at the images, they are actually nice pictures, naked or not.

‘I do believe that women deserve equality and in my eyes, if the men of our rowing club are able to make a naked calendar we should have the right to do the same thing without [receiving] derogatory and slanderous comments - that is what equality is about.’

image

Hettie’s comments came in the wake of a blog on the Huffington Post website, which attacked Hettie and her friends, and said they had put the feminist cause back.

Layla Haidrani, a student at the University of Kent who describes herself as a commentator on feminist issues, wrote: ‘Groups of women posing semi-naked on a field with sticks doesn’t sound a fundraising initiative for charity, it just sounds tacky,’

‘Although many argue that it is purely for fundraising purposes, in my own university sports team, the majority of women who participated were not made aware and did not even seek to find out which charities were being helped.

‘Rather, they just view it as an opportunity to strip and attempt to gain notoriety with friends and family both back home and on campus.’

She continued: ‘I can’t help but feel that women are just victims in the ‘liberation game,

‘As opposed to being liberated by posing semi-naked, they are in fact just helping women to be perpetually viewed as sex objects, something to be ‘bought’, ‘sold’ and then tossed away once the Christmas period is over.

But Heidrani, says Hettie, has got the wrong end of the stick.

‘These naked calendars do make money for some fantastic charities and so what really is the harm in them?’ she asked.

‘We do have some good looking girls in there but our calendar isn’t necessarily sexy and it certainly isn’t demeaning.

READ MORE, SEE MORE HERE

Actually, the article is interesting and once again the femanazis take it upon themselves to declare what a women should and should not do. They make the agenda, they decide for everyone what is and what to think.  Who elected her or any one person to decide for all, what is proper and not proper in this calendar debate?

Layla Haidrani is a history student at University of Kent, Canterbury. Raised in Camden, she is a commentator on feminist issues and international politics affairs and defines herself as a passionate socialist.

Perhaps Ms. Haidrani would prefer women to cover up. Like this?

VRWC QOTD

You know I’m already far beyond tired of posting about Newtown and about the gun control “conversation” the far left is cramming down our throats. I want desperately for the media moment to pass, for the national attention span to blip and then to move on to something else. But it doesn’t look like that is going to happen this time. I think this is the wet dream moment of the Left, when they do their best to make their delusional fantasy a tyrannical reality. So we’re in the fight of our lives, and from that I will neither retreat nor surrender. And so in turn I must continue to slog through the mud, marching and turning continuously to face the moving goalposts.

We are the peat bog soldiers
We’re marching with our spades
To the blog bog.

The good news is that I am not alone, and along the way I discover other voices, other truths, and other views that parallel my own. And some of those, whether new or whether drawn from history, are well worth listening to. And so I post them.

Let’s look at what’s really going on here.

Now, there’s this about cynicism, Sergeant. It’s the universe’s most supine moral position. Real comfortable. If nothing can be done, then you’re not some kind of shit for not doing it, and you can lie there and stink to yourself in perfect peace

Miles Vorkosigan, Borders of Infinity, by Lois McMaster Bujold

This is why the Left hates guns with a screaming passion. If you and I can use a gun to make the world a safer place, then so can they. Yet people like Rosa Gill are too scared to take any responsibility for their own safety or for the safety of the children in their class. Rather than confront their own cynicism and cowardice they loudly proclaim that YOU are the problem. They demand that we accept that NOTHING can be done to cover up for the fact that they know in their hearts that THEY are too scared to lift a finger to defend their children.

We know what the Principal of Sandy Hook Elementary did. We know that she paid with her life for our calculated decision to ban her and people like her from carrying a gun. She probably never even thought of it before that fateful day. She might have even been violently against guns. But I want you to imagine that you had the ability to stop time 2 seconds after she realized what was going on in her school. If you had the ability to stop time, offer her a gun, and tell her how to use it against the killer, do you honestly think she would have turned you down? Can you imagine her saying “nope, no guns. I’d prefer that the children died and I die with them?”

Fuck no.

Outstanding.

Another Dead White Guy Heard From

No, not OCM, whose blog I happened to stop off at and indirectly got the idea for this post from. Tench Coxe.

Who?

Tench Coxe was another of the Founding Fathers. He was the delegate from Pennsylvania to the Constitutional Convention. He was an anti-Federalist, which means he was against an all-powerful central government.

His quotes?

“The power of the sword, say the minority..., is in the hands of Congress. My friends and countrymen, it is not so, for The powers of the sword are in the hands of the yeomanry of America from sixteen to sixty. The militia of these free commonwealths, entitled and accustomed to their arms, when compared with any possible army, must be tremendous and irresistible. Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man against his own bosom. Congress has no power to disarm the militia. Their swords and every terrible implement of the soldier are the birthright of Americans. The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments but where, I trust in God, it will always remain, in the hands of the people.”

* The Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788.

“Whereas civil rulers, not having their duty to the people duly before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow citizens, the people are confirmed by the article in their right to keep and bear their private arms.”

So all you willfully blind leftists with your “the Second Amendment was only about muskets and single shot horse pistols, because that’s all they had in those days” ... you are full of crap. May I remind you of Lexington and Concord, and what Paul Revere’s ride was about? CANNONS were privately owned in those days. Artillery, both on land and at sea. And while the range of such weapons was only about a mile and a half, and they didn’t always fire explosive shells, a 32 pound cannonball could EASILY shoot your house down. One shot, properly aimed. No more house. Crash. Try doing that with one round of .50 BMG.

I think OCM wants his own rocket propelled grenade launcher. Good for him. As long as he understands he’s responsible for every bit of damage caused by every bit of shrapnel when he blasts something, then let him own it.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere
It's been a long strange trip without you Skipper, but thanks for pointing us in the right direction and giving us a swift kick in the behind to get us going. Keep lookin' down on us, will ya? Thanks.

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
