Muslim hate preacher Abu Hamza allowed to keep British passport

Anything important happen today?
Oh, not much unless you consider another nail in England’s coffin important.
And that’s just how I see this.  Don’t we have people who work in the dark anymore? Jeesh. There’s so much work of that nature and it’s being left undone. The problem with that of course is, it piles up and gets outta hand.

I don’t know if it’s still true but ... he and his stinky family had been on Brit benefits. House, SUV, etc.

Muslim hate preacher Abu Hamza allowed to keep British passport

Hate preacher Abu Hamza has won his appeal against the Government’s attempts to strip him of his British passport, a special tribunal has ruled.

image

The radical cleric argued that such a move would render him “stateless” as he had already been stripped of his Egyptian citizenship.

Delivering its 12-page ruling, the Special Immigration Appeals Commission allowed his appeal.

In his ruling, Mr Justice Mitting said: “We are satisfied on balance of probabilities that if a deprivation order were to be made, the appellant (Hamza) would be made stateless.

“The conclusions which we have reached in the closed judgment supplement, but do not contradict, that conclusion.

“Accordingly, this appeal is allowed.”

Hamza, 52, was jailed for seven years in February 2006 for inciting murder and race hate.

He is in Belmarsh Prison as he challenges attempts to extradite him to the US on terror charges.
`
That case was delayed by the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg in July, which called for further submissions over the length of his sentence and the conditions he would experience if extradited to ADX Florence, a so-called “supermax” prison in Fremont County, Colorado.

Attempts to take his passport away were launched in 2003 but delayed by other legal actions against him.

At a three-day hearing in London last month, Hamza’s lawyers argued he has already been stripped of his Egyptian citizenship so cannot have his British passport taken too, as that would render him “stateless”.

But the Home Office said there was no documentation to prove he was no longer an Egyptian national and though he was once denied an Egyptian passport, he was later allowed one.

The commission heard Hamza may have had his Egyptian nationality revoked but the country’s government would not confirm whether he had or not.

The cleric came to Britain on a student visa and acquired a British passport through marriage.

He was denied an Egyptian passport in 1982 because he had not undertaken military service, the panel heard, but a decree in 1988 allowed him his citizenship back.

But Egyptian law expert Sabah Al-Mukhtar, appearing as a witness for Hamza’s legal team, told the commission it was possible he had been stripped of his nationality later on for other reasons.

He said by refusing Hamza a passport the Egyptian government was giving a “de facto” denial of his nationality.

James Strachan, for the Home Office, said Mr Al-Mukhtar’s interpretation was a “fundamental disagreement” with their own expert’s evidence.

A Downing Street spokeswoman said Prime Minister David Cameron was “disappointed” with the decision but that it would not affect ongoing extradition proceedings.

death of the dollar

Looks like the price of gold is going to kiss $1400/toz today. That’s an increase of $100/toz since September 24 2010; 7.6923% in just 42 days. That’s an annual rate of about 67%, far higher than the $100 increase from $1200 on December 1, 2009 to late September’s $1300 ; but perhaps not as steep a jump from early October 2009 when it was $1000/toz to last December’s $1200. That $200 jump was 20% in 60 days, a nearly vertical climb of 120% per year. But whether temporarally steep or shallow, the price curve has swung upwards 40% in 400 days. That’s a helluva return for those flush enough to sink a large part of their assets in it. Heck, for the folks who had the cash on 9/12/01, the returns have been awesome. $75,000 invested then will buy you a very nice $400K house now. And that’s a house that will sell for $400K now, which means it was a $575K house just a couple years ago. A McMansion Deluxe with extra tomato.

image

Oh well, that’s another bubble I missed. Not to play the coulda-woulda-shoulda game too much, but the left edge of this chart is almost coincident with the peak in AOL stock ... which means that the $75K needed then would have been about $500 back in 1993. And that’s after taking out a whacking great chunk for Capital Gains, if you had the smarts to get out just before Y2K and bought into gold at $240. That’s not a cockamamie idea; we all saw Y2K and Millenium Madness as an End of the World scenario. And that means it’s time to buy gold. Are we there again?

The Federal Reserve is doing another round of Quantitative Easing, QE2, which is their fancy way of saying they are trying to devalue your cash another 20% as fast as they can. Part of that effort involves them printing up another $900 BILLION to buy up some government bonds between now and next June. The idea is to make money cheaper, and encourage borrowing. But money is already so cheap that it’s nearly free, at least at the bank-to-bank level. Mortage rates are hovering around 4%. But a cheaper dollar will also drive up commodity prices; you’ve watched the price of gas jump since August, I’m sure.

Michael Pence, a top Republican in the House of Representatives, said the Fed was taking an “incalculable risk.”

Thomas Hoenig, the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, who described the move before the meeting as a “bargain with the devil,” was the lone dissenter in a 10-1 vote of the Fed’s policy committee. He said the risks of additional government bond purchases outweighed the benefits.

But Fed officials are betting that inflation is still being pushed strongly in the other direction because there is so much spare capacity in the economy—including an unemployment rate at 9.6%, a real-estate landscape littered with more than 14 million unoccupied homes, and manufacturers operating with 28% of their productive capacity going unused.

I can’t talk about this. Our futures are evaporating just as fast as our savings. The dollar is more worthless every day. The States are in debt way over their eyeballs, and it’s only getting worse.

Go watch or listen to Glenn Beck, then go and spend as much as you can at the grocery store. Food prices are about to leap, so try and stock up for several months if you can.

Sorry, but Obanomics is failing. And while our hero Zero Nero is off in India with his out of tune violin, the sparks are falling here in New Rome.

Aww fuck it Dude. Let’s go bowling.

I think she is one of us

In the Kitchen with Titli

Personally, unless her chili powder is part of Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal, I’d add 4 tsp worth. But I am so tempted to make this that I think I’ll go see what bits are in the spice box.

Make your own ghee. It’s just clarified butter. Melt some sweet butter in the microwave or a pan, then let it cool a bit. Skim the foam off the top and discard. Pour the liquid off, leaving the solids in the bottom of the cup. That’s it, done. You’ve got ghee!

And before you make all those snide remarks, know that “titli” is the Hindi word for butterfly, and is a very common pet name for women. So there.

What a shame we can’t have a Tea Party in Britain, says Richard Littlejohn in daily mail

This is just a portion of the Littlejohn column today. I thought you’d enjoy it and there’s more HERE

What a shame we can’t have a Tea Party in Britain

By Richard Littlejohn
Last updated at 3:41 PM on 4th November 2010

Victorious Tea Party candidate Rand Paul put it succinctly. ‘People don’t understand why they should have to balance their family budget, but Congress doesn’t.

What has been refreshing in America this past week was to see ordinary citizens on the streets and on the airwaves demanding massive reductions in government spending and more control over their own lives. Americans don’t believe government has all the answers. It’s not what are they going to do about such-and-such. It’s what can we do about it.

All we seem to get in Britain, and on the BBC in particular, is a procession of entitlement junkies lining up to denounce the ‘cuts’ and demand ever more unaffordable State largesse.
America’s Tea Party movement is lazily, deliberately, misrepresented as a bunch of bigots, zealots and racists – the standard Washington insider, mainstream media slur.

Those Tea Party supporters I’ve met tend to be decent, concerned citizens, worried about their families’ futures, who believe their voice is ignored in Washington. They are small business owners, lawyers, housewives, none of whom fit the received-wisdom stereotype.
Of course, all manner of nutters attach themselves to any cause. We’ve got more than our own fair share of bigots and zealots. What could be more bigoted, for instance, than comparing modest reductions in housing benefits to the Holocaust?

As for the condescending allegations that Tea Party supporters are all ‘angry’ and motivated by hatred, how would you characterise the deranged reaction of the British Left to the Coalition’s plans to cut our own crippling budget deficit, bequeathed by Labour?

Angry doesn’t begin to describe it. Foaming-at-the-mouth would be more accurate.

Nor are we in any position to sneer at some Tea Party candidates as crazies, given that until recently Parliament contained the likes of barking mad Lembit Opik, famous Cheeky Girl enthusiast and flying saucer obsessive; and George Galloway, last seen wearing a leotard and pretending to be a cat in the Big Brother house.

Simply Mind Blowing

The security precautions for the trip that God Emperor of Dune Obamasiah The One POTUS Dude is taking to India are just so far over the top it defies belief. If it’s that freakin’ risky for him to be there, DON’T GO! And now we have this. Horry clap. I wonder how many million dollars it’s going to cost us????

Obama will bring his own tunnel with him to India

Tunnel for Obama near Mani Bhavan

It could give a sense of superior American organisation, or be an indicator of a deep-set persecution complex. It could also be a manifestation of Uncle Sam’s penchant for a show of strength.

The matter pertains to US president Barack Obama’s planned visit to Mani Bhavan —the Gandhi museum — on November 6, soon after he reaches Mumbai. On Monday, US secret agents visited the museum to plan Obama’s security detail.

They were accompanied by officers of Mumbai Police and civic officials of the D ward (where Mani Bhavan is located). While inspecting the route and the buildings lining up the route to the museum, the Americans detected a skyscraper near Peddar road and also found the area to be highly populated.

Well no kidding. It’s a city. In India. That means wall to wall people, 50 layers thick. What else were you expecting?

Since it is difficult to monitor such a congested area, they came up with a quick solution which left the Indians accompanying them amazed: A bomb-proof over-ground tunnel — to be installed by US military engineers in just an hour.

The tunnel would be a kilometer long and measure 12ft by 12ft — enough to let Obama’s cavalcade pass through. The tunnel would be centrally air-conditioned, fitted with close-circuit television cameras, and will be heavily guarded at every point, including, of course, its entry and exit.

Details about when exactly the tunnel would be made were not forthcoming. But officials said that the structure would be dismantled immediately after Obama leaves the area.

Several officials from the White House and US security agencies have been in India for the past couple of weeks with helicopters, a ship and high-end security systems, preparing for the visit. While security is a major concern, Americans aren’t convinced about the costs involved.

Think that’s over the top? It is! But it gets even better! Obama will have his very own custom guard towers built around him at the hotels - to protect him FROM MONKEYS!!!!

Delhi’s police are to build 30-feet towers in jungle surrounding President Obama’s hotel to protect him from terrorist attacks during next week’s visit, and also shield from an invasion by the city’s most persistent threat – monkeys.

The jungle opposite the president’s suite at the exclusive ITC Mauriya Hotel is part of the city’s Ridge forest which is home to many of the monkeys which terrorise the capital.

Tribes of the red-bottomed bhandar monkeys regularly overrun government office compounds, bite through expensive computer cables, attack people carrying food and cause general mayhem.

Local newspapers regularly report the latest victims of the ‘monkey menace’ but while officials are usually reluctant to take action against them – they symbolise the Hindu monkey God Hanuman – this time they are taking no chances.

Alongside heavily armed antiterrorist commandos, trained monkey-catchers will also be deployed.

“We will deploy commandos, snipers and even monkey catchers to ensure his safety,” a police officer told The Hindustan Times.

Protect the president from red-bottomed monkeys. Holy cow. Sometimes the political cartoons just draw themselves.

UPDATE: And coconuts. I should have mentioned that too!

Coconuts removed in India ahead of Obama visit

Officials in the Indian city of Mumbai (Bombay) have taken extraordinary measures to protect US President Barack Obama ahead of his visit. In their effort to provide maximum security in the run-up to his visit on Friday, they have removed coconuts which may fall on his head from trees.
...
All coconuts around the city’s Gandhi museum have now been cut down, an official told the BBC.
...
“We told the authorities to remove the dry coconuts from trees near the building. Why take a chance?” Mani Bhavan’s executive secretary, Meghshyam Ajgaonkar, told the BBC.

Am I the only one who is starting to feel that this clown is the laughingstock of the entire world? Heaven forbid that His Exaltedness had to be driven past actual people in his BarackMobile, so he brings a portable tunnel? With air conditioning? He needs guard towers to protect him from monkeys? He sees coconuts as a threat? WTF?? Will the sight of an out of place paper clip cause him to wet his pants? Will the Secret Service have to seek out postage stamps and wrestle them to the ground?

I bet if Putin came for a visit, he’d ask for double extra coconuts. And then go off on an elephant to hunt tigers and monkeys. With his crossbow. Bare-chested. And get 5 of each. With only 2 arrows.
Fuck.

‘I WANTED TO BE A MARTY, THAT’S THE BEST WAY TO DIE’

So the judge says to the evil and evil smelling muzzie scumbag ....

I hope you will come to understand the evil that you have done and repent of it.

Poor misguided judge. A true product of the west and who can blame the man?  He’s sincere.  He just doesn’t understand that he is NOT addressing anything human.  Meanwhile, via video feed because the defendant does not recognize the jurisdiction of the Brit court, and so has refused to attend her trial, she smiles happily at him.  I haven’t a clue why a trial when she was caught red handed and then told anyone who would listen, that she wanted to kill the hated infidel. In this case a Labour Party MP who voted for the Iraq war.  As reported yesterday, she walked up to him and stabbed him a few times before being restrained and arrested.

Here’s the update.  She got life and will have to served at least 15 years. Her inspiration has been an American traitor turned islamic anti west preacher wanted by the USA.

The guy she tried kill is a member of the party out of power here, which means he leans to the left, even though he supported the war on Iraq. I wonder if he’ll eventually claim that islam is an rop. He might.

So here’s what we know as of today and there’s more as always at the link, as what I post here is edited.  Here’s our cast of dubious characters.

Curse the judge, shout fanatics as the Muslim girl who knifed MP smiles as she gets life
By Michael Seamark

image

A judge was subjected to a tirade of abuse in his own courtroom yesterday as he jailed an Al Qaeda-inspired Muslim woman for attempting to assassinate an MP.
Islamist protesters harangued Mr Justice Cooke from the public gallery at the Old Bailey, shouting ‘Allahu akbar’ (‘God is great’), ‘British go to hell’ and ‘Curse the judge’.

The outbursts came as Roshonara Choudhry, 21, was sentenced to life imprisonment for stabbing former minister Stephen Timms. Choudhry smiled broadly as the judge told her: ‘You said you ruined the rest of your life. You said it was worth it. You said you wanted to be a martyr.’

Hundreds of videos inciting violence, including clips by the U.S.-born radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki who inspired Choudhry to attempt to assassinate the MP, were removed from YouTube yesterday.

Their removal followed a private speech in the United States by security minister Baroness Neville-Jones in which she called on the White House to ‘take down this hateful material’.

Mr Timms, 55, describing the moment he was stabbed in East London in May by the smiling student, said: ‘I shouted out, “What was that for?”’
‘That was the last thing that I expected to happen and there was absolutely no explanation to me. She didn’t say a word. It was a complete bolt out of the blue.’

‘I WANTED TO BE A MARTY, THAT’S THE BEST WAY TO DIE’
Choudhry was interviewed by detectives Simon Dobinson and Syed Hussain. In this extract from the transcript she tells them she dropped out in the third year of an English and communications degree at King’s College London.
image

Choudhry: I stabbed Stephen Timms.
Question: You stabbed Stephen Timms?
Choudhry: Yep. I’ve been learning more about Islam.

Question: Where have you been learning that?
Choudhry: Internet.
Question: What websites you been looking at?
Choudhry: I’ve been listening to lectures by Anwar al-Awlaki.
Question: Who’s he?
Choudhry: He’s an Islamic scholar. He lives in Yemen.

Question: Tell me your thoughts about what you’ve done.
Choudhry: I feel like I’ve ruined the rest of my life. I feel like it’s worth it because millions of Iraqis are suffering and I should do what I can to help them and not just be inactive and do nothing while they suffer.
Question: I just want to go over a little bit how your thought has gone from getting to religion to wanting some form of vengeance.
Choudhry: Because as Muslims we’re all brothers and sisters and we should all look out for each other and we shouldn’t sit back and do nothing while others suffer. We shouldn’t allow the people who oppress us to get away with it and to think that they can do whatever they want to us and we’re just gonna lie down and take it.
Question: Where did you learn that from?
Choudhry: From listening to his lectures.

FULL STORY AND TRANSCRIPT HERE

two muzzie supporters .. not shown here but in hard copy, the usual signs. islam will dominate the world. and I think they will damn well try. know the enemy folks.

Every Year Along About This Time It All Goes Dry

Two weeks after the biggest bust in Mexican history ..

25-30 tons of pot snagged in San Diego

600 yard high quality tunnel found under warehouse

The border patrol has uncovered a well-built 1,800-foot-long drug-smuggling tunnel connecting San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico. In overnight raids, U.S. agents seized more than 20 tons of marijuana in a California warehouse, while Mexican troops confiscated five tons at their end.

The passageway was lighted, ventilated and had a rail system, the Los Angeles Timesreports. It began in a warehouse in Tijuana and ended in Otay Mesa, California, a light-industrial area outside San Diego where other tunnels have been uncovered.

During the past four years around 75 tunnels in various stages of construction have been found along the border.

In Mexico, army troops raided a warehouse in an industrial area that concealed the tunnel entrance and seized four more tons of dope.

The back-to-back raids occurred Tuesday night and Wednesday morning in a light industrial area with a long history of tunnel activity.

The passageway, equipped with lighting, ventilation and a rail system, is one of the few unearthed in recent years that appears to have been fully operational.

About 75 tunnels along the U.S-Mexico border have been unearthed in the last four years, most of them in various states of construction. The discovery comes two weeks after the Mexican military in Tijuana seized a record 134 tons of marijuana.

About 26 tons of marijuana had been transported through the tunnel to San Diego, and 10 of those tons were intercepted Tuesday by authorities as a tractor trailer was transporting the load from the Otay Mesa warehouse, officials said. About five tons were found by the Mexican military inside the Tijuana warehouse and the tunnel, officials said.

“It’s not a good day for the cartels,” said ICE director John Morton. “They now can’t move that size of drugs without digging a tunnel for 600 yards. It backfired on them.

Video here at Fox News.

Let’s see ... 30 tons here, 134 tons last time; that’s 164 tons. That’s 328,000 pounds, which is about 5.25 million ounces; 42 million eighth ounce baggies worth. Sounds like at least 2 weeks supply for the entire US. Ouch! Tokers gonna be hard up for a hit!

Henry got to Mexico and turned his truck around
He’s talking to the man who’s has it growing in the ground
Henry tasted, he got wasted, couldn’t even see
How he’s gonna drive like that is not too clear to me

And now he’s rolling down the mountain
Going fast, fast, fast
And if he blows this one’s gonna be his last
Run to Acapulco to turn the golden keys
Henry keep your brakes on for this corner if your please

I wonder how much the toner costs?

Want a new car? Print one!

3D printer prints out fully functioning hybrid car

image

It didn’t jam the printer but there’s no guarantee it won’t get stuck in traffic.

Two companies in the US have partnered to design and create Urbee - the car built entirely by a 3D printer.

Urbee was made using additive manufacturing processes, which prints layer upon layer of material to create a product.

Many manufacturers, including aeroplane giant Boeing, print their parts, but this is the first time an entire machine prototype has been created using the 3D printing process.

Every exterior component of Urbee, including the windscreen, was made using Dimension 3D printers and Fortus 3D Production Systems by Stratasys, who teamed up with Kor Ecologic to create the energy efficient car.

Jim Kor, president and chief technology officer for Kor Ecologic, said the process eliminated tooling, machining and handwork.

The electric/petrol hybrid car is extremely fuel efficient, getting approximately 85km/L (200mpg) on the highway (100mpg city).

A standard 4WD uses about 10 times the amount of petrol to go the same distance.

The futuristic looking vehicle can be charged from a regular household power outlet - just plug it in overnight - or can draw power from renewable sources such as sunlight or wind.

This combined with the environmentally friendly production process is part of the manufacturers’ goal of Urbee being “as green as possible”.

image

3-D printing has been used for manufacturing before. Boeing, for example, prints some airplane parts using the process. And a company called Bespoke Innovations is using 3-D printing to manufacture prosthetic limb casings. But Urbee is entirely 3-D printed--all exterior components were produced with Dimension 3D Printers and Fortus 3D Production Systems by Stratsys.
...
“FDM lets us eliminate tooling, machining, and handwork, and it brings incredible efficiency when a design change is needed,” Jim Kor, president and chief technology officer at Kor Ecologic explained in a press release. “If you can get to a pilot run without any tooling, you have advantages.”

A First Victory

Obama drops Cap & Trade?

Why the heck not, now that the Chicago Carbon Credit Exchange is belly up? No chance of scamming money on the deal, so let it die. But don’t be fooled, it ain’t over ‘till it’s over. And it ain’t over yet.

President Barack Obama said Wednesday he will look for ways to control global warming other than placing a ceiling on greenhouse gases.

“Cap-and-trade was just one way of skinning the cat; it was not the only way,” Obama said at a news conference a day after Democrats lost control of the House. “I’m going to be looking for other means to address this problem.”

Legislation putting a limit on heat-trapping greenhouse gases and then allowing companies to buy and sell pollution permits under that ceiling narrowly passed the House in 2009 as a centerpiece of Obama’s domestic agenda, but then stalled in the Senate.

Republicans dubbed the bill cap-and-tax because it would raise energy prices. They then used it as a club in the midterm elections against Democrats who voted for it. Thirty of the bill’s supporters were among the some 50 House Democrats whom voters turned out of office Tuesday.

“There are a lot of Republicans that ran against the energy bill that passed in the House last year,” Obama said. “And so it’s doubtful that you could get the votes to pass that through the House this year or next year or the year after.”

He said it was important, in whatever solutions are pursued, “not to have us ignore the science, but rather find ways that we can solve these problems that don’t hurt the economy … that in fact may give us opportunities to create entire new industries and create jobs.”

Yadda yadda yadda, I got my ass handed to me, so let me get out of this one while I try to spin it my way. We’ll try and sneak it through some other way when nobody is looking.

“Cap-and-trade was just one way of skinning the cat; it was not the only way,” Obama said at a news conference Wednesday, a day after Democrats lost control of the House. “I’m going to be looking for other means to address this problem.”

So this is probably just a short term reprieve. Don’t take your eye off the ball or go back to sleep just yet.

Put These On Your Speed Dial

In Case of Pirates, Please Call 1-800-OH-CRAP

A message from NATO

3 November Update

The south-west monsoon has now passed and conditions are now conducive for piracy operations off the Somali Coast and into the Somali Basin. The anticipated surge of activity is focussed along the coast predominately in southern areas targeting local and international shipping in the vicinity of Kismayo, Dar es Salaam and Mombasa.

Improved weather conditions should allow for improved visual and radar detection ranges of vessels of this size. Small vessels particularly skiffs, dhows and fishing vessels observed in the open ocean more than 300Nm from the Somali coast should be regarded with suspicion.

Somali Pirates have sailed the MV AL NISR AL SAUDI to act as a mother ship east of Socotra Island threatening ships in the approached to the GOA. She is assessed as being involved in the attack on the MV GO TRADER in position 15°06N 055°58E.

Ships should be vigilant of a possible pirate action group using a mother ship, with two small skiffs in position 07°21N 064°03E.

Hey, they’re trying, right?

In order to encourage vessels to conduct their passage through the IRTC in groups based on passage speed MSC HOA will promulgate via their website, position, time, and speed for vessels to pass through a waypoint at the eastern and western limits of the IRTC. This process will be known as “GOA Group Transits” (GOA GT).

GOA GT timings will be at various intervals through each 24hr period. Each GOA GT will follow a recommended navigation track (NAVTRACK) through the IRTC at a published speed that will avoid high profile piracy danger periods and allow maximum coordination of military assets in support. Transit Group Schedules will cater for the differing range of speeds.

During your transit you should not expect to be permanently in company with a warship. But all warships in the GOA, whether part of NATO, EU NAVFOR or coordinating with MSC HOA, will be aware of the GOA GTs and have the full details of vulnerable shipping.

The implementation of the GOA GT is designed to enhance your security as you transit through the GOA.

The latest score: one hijacking yesterday and one escape. One hijacking today. Yemen puts 8 pirates in jail for 5 years each.

One story that I missed: Back in May, Yemen convicted 6 Somali pirates and sentenced them to death for hijacking an oil tanker. 6 more got 10 years in jail and a $2 million fine.

Looks like Yemen is catching and killing pirates ... yet I don’t see those stories, and I’m out there looking. Maybe it’s a case of data overload; roughly one ship gets hijacked, fought over, rescued, or ransomed every single day.

“All the news that’s fit to ignore” ... the Somali piracy continues, and it isn’t even news anymore. Piracy off the coast of Nigeria and around Indonesia gets even less coverage.

A Victory Rant

The thing about the limited set of swear words we Americans use is that they can be used as nouns, verbs, adverbs, and even as adjectives.

Pay McGoo’s a visit and read Eddie Bear’s reaction to the election results. It’s a raw rant, angry and alliterative, and he gets the very utmost out of his nearly one word vocabulary, but when it contains terms like the libertycock of freedom you just know you’re going to enjoy it.

I can’t wait until the One is the dOne and the Tea Party candidates make deep inroads into both parties. Both parties. Then we’ll start making some real recovery. And Eddie Bear’s rant at that juncture will be mind blowing.

But for now, go read the rough edged railing revelery which, loosely translated, seems to be called At the end of a well contested race the faithful were saved.

Do I have to tell you that this missive is not for the faint of heart, the easily offended, or those afraid of a little NSFW text? Ok, you’ve been told. Go read it anyway.

You did hear that 87% of the candidates that were Tea Party endorsed won? Pretty snappy results. And this is just the beginning.

Should any of my readers be McGooaphobic*, perhaps due to cat allergy or fear of teeth, you can read the same post at Eddie the Bear’s own blog, in it’s all new location!!

* if so, then life must truly suck for you.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere
It's been a long strange trip without you Skipper, but thanks for pointing us in the right direction and giving us a swift kick in the behind to get us going. Keep lookin' down on us, will ya? Thanks.

Oh, and here's some kind of visitor flag counter thingy. Hey, all the cool blogs have one, so I should too. The Visitors Online thingy up at the top doesn't count anything, but it looks neat. It had better, since I paid actual money for it.
