Mad Ahmadinejad

imageimageNot A Time To Run From Danger
-- by Steve Darnell

Every liberal I have spoken with over the past five years has attempted to compare President George W. Bush to Adolf Hitler. I realize the majority of liberals are uninformed and too often undereducated, so I think I will assist them with their Hitler analogy.

The real modern-day Hitler currently resides in Iran and is actively trying to gain nuclear capabilities. His name is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

I like to call him “Mad Ahmadinejad.”

Mad Ahmadinejad is a fun-loving madman who enjoys blogging on the Internet, killing Jews and funding worldwide terrorism. And he just happens to be the current president of Iran.

Below are two quotes from Mad Ahmadinejad that should have the world concerned:

“As the Imam [Ayah Allah Khomeini] said, Israel must be wiped off the map.”

Addressing students gathered in an Interior Ministry conference hall, Ahmadinejad also called for Palestinian unity, resistance and a point “where the annihilation of the Zionist regime will come”.

And liberals think Bush is a madman.

Winston Churchill once said: “One ought never to turn one’s back on a threatened danger and try to run away from it. If you do that, you will double the danger. but if you meet it promptly and without flinching, you will reduce the danger by half.”

To date, no matter what liberals think, President Bush has not flinched and has reduced the danger of terrorism by half. We have ousted the Taliban from Afghanistan and are currently battling terrorism in Iraq. His domestic surveillance program, which liberals are fighting to eliminate, helped foil the latest terror plot in Great Britain that would have killed thousands of Americans.

Eliminating the threat of terrorism by half is not good enough, however. It is time for President Bush to confront the other half of the danger that remains in the world: Mad Ahmadinejad.

The United States is now beyond dialog for peace with renegade nations, such as Iran, that sponsor terrorism. President Bush should now strictly enforce the Bush Doctrine. The United States, along with the civilized Western world, needs to end the terrorist threat by bombing back to the fourth century Syria, Iran and any other nation harboring terrorists.

Then the problem will end.

The odds of this happening are slim, however. Thanks to liberals, wars are now fought in a “politically correct way”. Gone are the days when war was settled with massive battles of attrition and the bombing of major cities.

Warfare has become a politically correct popularity contest, where the rules of engagement are written by the New York Times and public opinion, not the armies involved in the war. Of course, if Hezbollah, Hamas or other terrorist organizations are killing civilians, the rules of engagement are thrown out the window and public opinion is somehow on their side. Israel was taught this lesson during its war with Hezbollah.

Liberals and the mainstream media try to convince Americans on a daily basis that President Bush’s sinking popularity at home and around the world has somehow diminished his effectiveness. Their propaganda seems to be working. Many Americans now question the president’s direction in the war on terror, and his poll numbers are down.

President Bush should not be concerned with his popularity, and he never has been. It is a simple fact of life that the most productive person in the room is normally the most unpopular. Hard-chargers, like the president, who step on toes while getting tasks accomplished are not usually very popular people, but they get the job done. Winston Churchill is a prime example.

President Bush needs to continue using our military might to end terrorism and set his sights on Iran. Forget the negativity oozing from those on the left. After all, liberals would rather appease the terrorists by finding a “feel-good” approach to ending terrorist aggression rather than face the problem. Most liberals would rather run away and let the terrorists continue killing Americans. Calls for immediate withdraw from Iraq by liberals comes to mind.

Appeasement, ceasefires and peace treaties will never defeat terrorism. The only way to end terrorism is by killing terrorists. We should start by eliminating their sponsors in Iran, using “un-politically correct” massive firepower. This is a very simple approach to the problem.  Kill terrorists before they kill us.

Winston Churchill also said, “An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.” Iran, with Mad Ahmadinejad at its helm, is the current crocodile the world should be concerned with, and the threat should be taken seriously.

Liberals around the world still insist on feeding the crocodile. Unfortunately Mad Ahmadinejad is hungry and searching for a nuclear weapon.

This is not the time for the United States to flinch.

I Love a Happy Ending

Via Kim

That Didn’t Hurt....For Long

One of our long-term critters—part-time dope dealer, occasional thug and full-time poster child for retroactive abortions—has now become an object lesson.

Apparently, Mr. Critter developed a decidedly one-sided romantic fixation upon the teacher of one of his legion of off-spring. The object of his affections, not appreciating what a singular honour becoming Critter’s Baby’s Mama # 134 would be, nor desiring such, turned him down.

Mr. Critter seems to have missed the subtle hint contained in the phrase, “Stay the hell away from me!”, because early on the morning in question Mr. Critter decided to pay a visit to the home of said Object Of His Affections.

Finding no one home after repeatedly hammering on the door and screaming, Mr. Critter departed the premises, only to return shortly.

Go read the rest to see how Mr Critter turned out. [snortle, chuckle, bwaaaahahaha]

Polarization

OK, I’m hereby giving all of you fair warning: the current issue of TIME is about to hit the streets and The Hildabeast is once again (the tenth time) on the cover with the cover story titled “Ready To Run”. Unfortunately, you have to be a subscriber to read the entire article by Karen Tumulty, however the brief excerpt below should give you a good idea of what to expect.

If Hillary runs and is elected this nation will be ripped apart. Period. If there are people out there who think President Bush has been a divisive figure, let me be the first to tell them, “you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.” TIME’s poll really says it all. People either love her devoutly or hate her very guts. There is no in-between. I’m reminded of 1860 when all the Southern states (Democrats at the time) said that if that “abolitionist monkey” Lincoln was elected there’d be hell to pay. And there was.

In recent years the polarized divide in this country has grown into an abyss of gargantuan proportions. I’m referring to the Grand Canyon between the Left and the Right, between Liberals and Conservatives, between Democrats and Republicans. Harsh words and insane rhetoric fly back and forth with foaming at the mouth madness coming from Lefty blogs like DailyKOS and MoveOn.org and Democratic Underground. The rants from the Right-wing blogs are considerably more intelligent but just as partisan.

The battle lines are being drawn. The first salvos are being fired on the blogs and in the media. Two radically opposing viewpoints are choosing up sides and all this tinderbox needs is a match thrown in the middle. That would be Hillary. For the sake of my country and my children I sincerely hope she is content to stay in the Senate and commiserate with Teddy Kennedy over “what might have been.” The alternative is unthinkable ...

imageimageReady To Run
(TIME) - August 28, 2006

Should Hillary run? Could Hillary win? Is this a dynasty in the making? Is a Clinton candidacy good for the republic? Normally, those would be questions that only political consultants would be asking at this stage, but given the outsize status of both Clintons, ordinary voters are already wondering the same thing. Hillary would step into the race as the instant front runner, but the risks would be enormous.

It is hard to imagine a greater vindication than seeing the second President ever impeached hold the Bible as his wife takes the oath of office. But if Hillary ran and lost, both Clintons would come out tarnished--no small consideration when a promising Senate career and a presidential legacy are in the balance. So sensitive is the question of Hillary’s future that both Clintons refused to let TIME interview them about it, and they discouraged those around them from talking, which explains why nearly all the people who did talk did so on the condition that their name not be used.

Other candidates may have a chance to persuade voters of their merits, but people have pretty much made up their mind about Hillary. Only 3% of those surveyed in the TIME poll said they had no opinion of her, positive or negative. She is the inkblot test of a polarized electorate. In the TIME poll, Democrats overwhelmingly describe her as a strong leader (77%) who has strong moral values (69%). Republicans by and large see an opportunist who would say or do anything to further her political ambitions (68%) and puts her political interests ahead of her beliefs (60%). As for independents, more than half (53%) of those surveyed said they would not support her, with 34% putting themselves in the “definitely not” category.

Pampered Pedophile

Roast duck? Champagne? Pizza? Chocolates? Evian? What’s up with that? This whole incident is starting to take on a surreal air. I’ve already said this goober is probably making this confession crap up and I still believe it. Why are the feds pampering a suspected criminal like this? Have I fallen into some demented dimension where lunatics control everything? Don’t answer that. This was one plane that needed snakes ....

imageimageJonBenet Ramsey Suspect In L.A. Jail
LOS ANGELES (AP) - August 21, 2006 5:30AM EDT

John Mark Karr’s return to the U.S. took him from clinking his champagne glass during a luxurious flight over the Pacific to a high-security jail where he was awaiting a transfer to face charges in JonBenet Ramsey’s murder.

Los Angeles police detained Karr on a warrant from Boulder County, Colo., after he arrived in California from Bangkok, Thailand, and turned him over to the county Sheriff’s Department late Sunday, said sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore.

A helicopter brought him from the airport to the sheriff’s Twin Towers jail shortly before midnight in a sobering end to a day that began in Bangkok and included champagne and fine dining aboard a Thai Airways flight.

“He is going to be housed here in the men’s jail, kept in isolation in a 6-by-9 room with a bed, a toilet no windows and no phones,” Whitmore said. “He’ll get regular food. He’ll get jail chow, he won’t get king crab, I’ll tell you that.”

Karr was to be held in a “high power” cell for noteworthy inmates, checked by guards every 15 minutes, and separated from other inmates who often target suspected child molesters, sheriff’s officials said.

The 41-year-old school teacher’s return to the United States was voluntary, and he was not handcuffed before or during the 15-hour flight. Dressed in a red, short-sleeve, button-down shirt and black tie, Karr was whisked through Don Muang International Airport in Bangkok. He chatted with fellow passengers at the departure gate.

Aboard the jet he took a window seat next to Mark Spray, an investigator with the Boulder County district attorney’s office. The escort also included a U.S. Embassy official and an agent with “Homeland Security” on his shirt. Before takeoff, Karr took a glass of champagne from a flight attendant and clinked glasses with Spray, who sipped orange juice.

Karr first dined on pate, salad, fried king prawn, steamed rice, broccoli and chocolate cake. He also had a beer — crushing the empty can with his hands — and then had a glass of French chardonnay. Karr appeared to order the drinks himself. He later dined on roast duck with soy sauce and yellow noodles, and for his third meal had pizza, chocolates and a bottle of Evian.

The Final Solution, Part II

image

“Europe cannot find peace until the Jewish question has been solved. …One thing I should like to say on this day [the sixth anniversary of his being appointed Chancellor of the Reich] which may be memorable for others as well as for us Germans. In the course of my life I have very often been a prophet and have usually been ridiculed for it. … Today I will once more be a prophet: if the international Jewish financiers in and outside Europe should succeed in plunging the nations once more into a world war, then the result will not be the Bolshivization of the earth, and thus the victory of Jewry, but the annihilation of the Jewish race in Europe.”

-- Adolph Hitler, Speech to the Reichstag, January 30, 1939

“Our dear Imam (referring to Ayatollah Khomeini) said that the occupying regime [Israel] must be wiped off the map and this was a very wise statement. We cannot compromise over the issue of Palestine. Is it possible to create a new front in the heart of an old front. This would be a defeat and whoever accepts the legitimacy of this regime has in fact, signed the defeat of the Islamic world. Our dear Imam targeted the heart of the world oppressor in his struggle, meaning the occupying regime. I have no doubt that the new wave that has started in Palestine, and we witness it in the Islamic world too, will eliminate this disgraceful stain from the Islamic world.”

-- Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, World Without Zionism conference, October 30, 2005

Sticks And Stones

Teresa’s boy-toy has decided that Joe Lieberman needs a good case of name-calling. Mr. Gigolo is coming out swinging at Joe, calling him (gasp) a “Republican Sympathizer”. Egads! Them there’s fightin’ words. Kerry better watch it or Joltin’ Joe might decide to pop him one up side of his finely coiffeured pointy little head.

The Donks are really piling on poor Ol’ Joe after their preferred candidate, Ned Lamont, defeated Joe in the primary. Chris Dodd, the other Senator from Connecticut, hasn’t even spoken to Joe since the primary and in the Senate the Donks are considering strippng Joe of his commmittee chairs. Now they’re sic’ed Butthead Kerry on Joe ... all because Joe won’t toe the party line on the war. Unbelievable.

For the record, according to latest news reports, as soon as Lamont won the primary the Hildabeast donated $5,000 from her HILLPAC campaign funds to Lamont’s campaign. Her husband, Slick Willie, who endorsed Joe, has gone silent and is sulking back at the mansion. Perhaps Slick Willie understands that Lieberman was the closest thing to a Moderate that the Democrats had.

Now they’ve driven the party off to the Far Left and there may be a hard crash ahead because the Donks haven’t figured out yet that the majority of people in this country are Moderate or Conservative. Their “base” has shrunk to the point where only the Liberal Moonbats are left to support them. John “F’ing” Kerry’s attacks on Joe should be worn as a badge of honor by Joe. If Kerry hates it, it must be good.

What the media, the Donks and Kerry may have failed to notice is that approximately 300,000 registered voters cast their vote in the Democratic primary and Lamont won by only 10,000 votes. 300,000 voters is about 7.5% of the total population of registered voters in Connecticut. I predict Joe will win in a landslide in November ... and the Donks will lose a good friend and a voice of sanity in the party. I also predict that Democrats will blame it all on an “uneducated, ignorant population” of voters in Connecticut. That won’t go down well with folks in the Constitution State, birthplace of George W. Bush ...

Kerry_liebermanimageKerry Calls Lieberman the New Cheney
(ABC NEWS) - Aug. 20, 2006

Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., blasted a fellow Democrat, Sen. Joe Lieberman, for continuing his bid in the Connecticut Senate race despite a narrow loss to newcomer Ned Lamont in the Democratic primary earlier this month. I’m concerned that [Lieberman] is making a Republican case,” Kerry told ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” in an exclusive appearance.

Kerry accused the 2000 Democratic vice presidential candidate of “adopting the rhetoric of Dick Cheney,” on the issue of Iraq. “Joe Lieberman is out of step with the people of Connecticut,” Kerry added, insisting Lieberman’s stance on Iraq, “shows you just why he got in trouble with the Democrats there.”

Kerry called Lieberman’s independent bid a “huge mistake” and applauded businessman-turned-politician Lamont as “courageous” for challenging Lieberman on the war. Of his own views on Iraq, Kerry stated forthrightly, “The course of this country in Iraq is making the world more dangerous.”

Kerry, the Democrat’s nominee for president in 2004, supported the 2003 Senate resolution that ultimately led to the invasion of Iraq, and was criticized throughout his White House bid for then opposing a measure funding continuing operations in that effort. The Bush campaign seized on what they described as Kerry’s wavering views on Iraq, which in part led to the senator’s 2004 election defeat.

Since 2004, Kerry has steadily sharpened his opposition to the Iraq war, calling for a steady withdrawal of U.S. troops beginning last year. Kerry told chief Washington correspondent George Stephanopoulos, “Iraq is not the center of the war on terror,” while also asserting, “Iraq is in a civil war; of course it’s in a civil war.”

Kerry said he supports the efforts of Senator John Warner, R-Va., to introduce a second resolution on Iraq if and when the country descends into outright civil war. Kerry believes that moment has come and reiterated, “We have to set a date for the withdrawal,” before concluding, “The absence of diplomacy is putting our troops at greater risk and is reducing our ability for success.”

On the uncertain ceasefire involving Israel, Lebanon and Hezbollah, Kerry said the near-month-long violence “set back” Hezbollah, but did so “at a greater cost to Israel.”

Cindy’s Madness

She never goes away. Wherever there is a camera, Cindy will be there protesting. It’s a tired act and it’s starting to be embaressing to watch. Sooner or later this crazy loon is going to self-destruct. It has gone beyond obsession. Even beyond stalking. It is becoming madness on a grand scale.

Rove Rallies Texas Republican Stalwarts
Cindy Sheehan protests Austin appearance by presidential adviser
(AUSTIN-AMERICAN STATESMAN) - Sunday, August 20, 2006

After protesters allied with anti-war demonstrator Cindy Sheehan rushed the ballroom doors and scuffled with police, senior White House adviser Karl Rove roused Republicans Saturday in Austin by suggesting that a strong economy and President Bush’s course abroad will lead GOP candidates to November wins.

Saying Democrats are pro-taxation, pro-spending and wrongly committed to cutting and running from Iraq, the chief White House political adviser said: “We are right, and they are wrong.”

One protester managed to slip inside the event, which attracted more than 300 guests and raised an estimated $250,000 for the Associated Republicans of Texas. Shouting objections, including “men and women are dying,” the woman was escorted from the ballroom of the Renaissance Austin Hotel.

Laughter came after Rove said: “I don’t question the patriotism of our critics. Many are hard-working public servants who are doing the best they can. Some of them are people looking for a free meal.”

Scuffling between protesters and Austin police led Sheehan’s sister, DeDe Miller, to fall backward to the carpeted floor. One protester was arrested, Austin police said.

Cindy Sheehan also read aloud “war crimes” charges against Rove, including a charge that Rove was responsible for her son’s 2004 death as an Army specialist in Iraq. After each charge, protesters yelled, “Citizens arrest.”

Police detained Tiffany Burns of Los Angeles, who has been Sheehan’s press representative. Burns said she was handcuffed after she asked officers to arrest Rove.

Passenger Revolt

Go ahead. Admit it. You knew this was coming - sooner or later. By refusing to profile terrorists the governments of the West have effectively told their citizens to do it themselves. Sure, there will be a lot of hand-wringing over this but human nature being what it is, it was bound to happen sooner or later. It is probably going to get a lot worse unless governments step in and do what they’re supposed to do ... protect the citizenry.

By migrating to the countries of the West and refusing to integrate into their adopted societies, Middle Eastern immigrants will probably see more and more public backlash like this. Is it a good thing? Probably not but what are we supposed to do? What say you .... ?

Mutiny As Passengers Refuse To Fly Until Asians Are Removed
Passengers refuse to allow holiday jet to take off until two Asian men are thrown off plane
(DAILY MAIL) - 11:20am 20th August 2006

British holidaymakers staged an unprecedented mutiny - refusing to allow their flight to take off until two men they feared were terrorists were forcibly removed. The extraordinary scenes happened after some of the 150 passengers on a Malaga-Manchester flight overheard two men of Asian appearance apparently talking Arabic.

Passengers told cabin crew they feared for their safety and demanded police action. Some stormed off the Monarch Airlines Airbus A320 minutes before it was due to leave the Costa del Sol at 3am. Others waiting for Flight ZB 613 in the departure lounge refused to board it.

Websites used by pilots and cabin crew were yesterday reporting further incidents. In one, two British women with young children on another flight from Spain complained about flying with a bearded Muslim even though he had been security-checked twice before boarding.

The trouble in Malaga flared last Wednesday as two British citizens in their 20s waited in the departure lounge to board the pre-dawn flight and were heard talking what passengers took to be Arabic. Worries spread after a female passenger said she had heard something that alarmed her.

Passengers noticed that, despite the heat, the pair were wearing leather jackets and thick jumpers and were regularly checking their watches. Initially, six passengers refused to board the flight. On board the aircraft, word reached one family. To the astonishment of cabin crew, they stood up and walked off, followed quickly by others.

Psychology of Suicide Bombers

Interview with Pierre Rehov, documentary filmmaker, on psychology behind suicide bombings

This was sent to me by my friend in Iraq, but as usual, he didn’t give a source. Thanks to Google, I found the source. An interesting and scary interview.

On July 15, I appeared on MSNBC’s “Connected” program to discuss the 7/7 London attacks (you can see video of the segment on the linked page). One of my fellow guests was Pierre Rehov, a French filmmaker who has filmed six documentaries on the intifada by going undercover in the Palestinian areas. Pierre’s upcoming film, “Suicide Killers,” is based on interviews that he conducted with the families of suicide bombers and would-be bombers in an attempt to find out why they do it. Pierre agreed to my request for a Q&A interview here about his work on the new film. Many thanks to Dean Draznin and Arlyn Riskind for helping to arrange this special interview.

What inspired you to produce “Suicide Killers,” your seventh film?

I started working with victims of suicide attacks to make a film on PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) when I became fascinated with the personalities of those who had committed those crimes, as they were described again and again by their victims. Especially the fact that suicide bombers are all smiling one second before they blow themselves up.

Why is this film especially important?

People don’t understand the devastating culture behind this unbelievable phenomenon. My film is not politically correct because it addresses the real problem—showing the real face of Islam. It points the finger against a culture of hatred in which the uneducated are brainwashed to a level where their only solution in life becomes to kill themselves and kill others in the name of a God whose word, as transmitted by other men, has became their only certitude.

When You Are Old

I don’t know about you, but I get tired of documenting Moonbat thinking and behavior. When that happens I retreat to some other form of entertainment. Like poetry… a subject I used to have no use for when I was young, but now in my middle-age I find that certain poets, at least, speak to me. So I give you…

When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead
And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.

-- W. B. Yeats, 1893

I particularly like the second verse.
