Thoughts On American Opinions About Terri

I generally skip most articles about Terri Schiavo because 1.) she is now dead and I can do nothing or 2.) I am tired of it.

But I could not ignore a column by my Annie.

I’ll keep it short.

Polls claim that a majority of Americans objected to action by the U.S. Congress in the Schiavo case as “government intrusion” into a “private family matter” – as if Judge Greer is not also the government. So twisted is our view of the judiciary that a judicial decree is treated like a naturally occurring phenomenon, like a rainbow or an act of God.

Our infallible, divine ruler is a county judge in Florida named George Greer, who has more authority in America than the U.S. Congress, the president and the governor. No wonder the Southern Baptist Church threw Greer out: Only one god per church!

It’s a good system if you like monarchy and legally sanctioned murder. But spare me the paeans to “strict constructionism” and “limited government.”

She also had this to say about the judiciary:

Alexander Hamilton’s famous last words in “The Federalist” described the judiciary as the “least dangerous branch,” because it had neither force nor will. Now the judiciary is the most dangerous branch. It doesn’t need force because it has smoke and mirrors and a lot of people defending the moronic scribblings of any judge as the perfect efflorescence of “the rule of law.”

IO could not have said it all better.  How can you stand a chance when everytime you challenge a ruling you face the same judge over and over and over?  I believe Greer’s is an elected position.  I will do what I can do see to it he does NOT get re-elected.

Oh, and before I forget, this same judge has just ruled that the records held by DCF concerning Terri’s alleged broken bones, abuse and beatings could be released BUT ONLY TO THE HUSBAND!!!!!!

And one last thing (for this post at least) did anyone catch what that gasbag, asshat, fuckwit Chris Matthews said about Terri’s father?  Michelle reports on it here complete with pictures.

Ramblings

Just like in that joke earlier today, like Tom, the market is shittin’ the bed today.  I guess everyone wanted more hirings and cheaper oil.  Even if we had more hires, with oil as it is, lay-offs are right around the corner anyway.

However, I AM looking for some buying opportunities and some are presenting themselves quite nicely.

In other news, I spent almost 2 hours taking apart and cleaning my new M44.  The barrel was a bit full of preservatives but oitherwise it is a very clean gun with very nice blueing still present.  What I do not like are the steel hoops that hold parts of the stock together.  Removing and replacing them abrade the nice wood.

Oh, well, can’t have everything.

I think next week I will take it for a test spin.

It’s hot outside (83 degrees.) Time for a shower and a drink---in that order.

Child Abuse?

This just in to SEE-BS News.... our intrepid SEE-BS News team captured this picture of a BMEWS member supposedly babysitting his grandson this last weekend. The identity of the BMEWS perp is being withheld pending notification of Child Protection Services. However, SEE-BS News has learned that there is definitely a connection between the criminal who would do this to a young child and the ”More Baby Pictures” post below. Let’s Wait For The Spin

It will not take long for Dummycraps and the MSM to begin their campaign attempting to tell us our economy sucks.

Why?  The jobless rate is 5.2%

Go here to look at the historical numbers. Click on “unemployment rate” and when that opens, tell it you want data from 1991 to 2005.

Somehow I do not recall the mass cries of “LOUSY ECONOMY” when Clinton was in office.

But it is all we hear when Bush is in office.

If both these pieces of crap dropped dead I would shed no tears.

One is that BITCH, WHORE, TRAITOR Jane Fonda (fonda what, I wonder?) who all of a sudden is beginning to feel remorse for her heinous actions in North Vietnam which most likely resulted in the deaths of many US soldiers.  I wonder how many commies she balled while she was there?

BITCH!  ROAST IN HELL!!!  It’s a little too late for your self-exculpations.

The other is Sandy “Burglar” Berger who “accidentally" stuffed his trousers, underwear and socks with classified documents.

How the FUCK do you ACCIDENTALLY stuff your clothing with classified documents?  I had a high clearance and I an tell you right now that if I were to “TRULY” accidentally take a classified document home with me my life would be miserable in the military.  I’d be considered a security risk and would find it difficult to get any promotions.

Sandy?  He gets a slap on the wrist (3 year suspension of clearance and $10,000 fine) with no action taken to determine what happened to the documents never recovered (which, I presume, he also “accidentally” lost.)

Getting Prepared

Hell, it only holds 5 shots in the magazine but for $80 it’s hard to beat something that’s reliable and easy to take apart (especially when that $80 includes a sling, tools, oil can, and leather ammo pouches.

This will be my “back of the car” gun.  You can shoot the crap out of it and it asks for more.  Not too fastidious in your cleaning habits?  It doesn’t care.

So, take a gander at the newest “filly” in my stable.  A Mosin-Nagant M44.  Nasty bayonet, eh?

And for shooting moonbats, illegal Mexicans, and terrorists it’s perfect.  With ammo at about $.10 a round, hell, that’s cheap!!! 

Oh, and that ammo?  It’s 7.62x54.  Packs a nasty punch.  And if you shoot at dusk you get the added bonus of a foot long flame from the end of the barrel.  YEEHAW!!  Of course, this would suck if you’re trying to stay hidden but...........

Don’t forget, April 15th is B.A.G. (buy a gun) Day.  My local dealer is looking for a Bulgarian Makarov for me.  What are YOU buying?

Speaking of Mexicans

A big earthquake with the strength of 8.1 on the Richter scale has hit Mexico.

Two million Mexicans have died and over a million are injured. The country is totally ruined and the government doesn’t know where to start with providing help to rebuild.

The rest of the world is in shock.

Canada is sending troopers to help the Mexican army control the riots.  Saudi Arabia is sending oil.  Other Latin American countries are sending supplies.

The European community (except France) is sending food and money.

The United States, not to be outdone, is sending two million replacement Mexicans.

And The President Wants Open Borders?????

Two bits of VERY DISTURBING news.

In the first, 6 Iraqis were detained on charges of using false passports.  Yes, they were detained by Mexicans but they were headed here.  Their plan was to get into Mexico and then sneak across the border.  Had their passport destination been the US I am certain the Mexicans would have done nothing.

Meanwhile, the Minutemen start their first full day today.

You know how the Mexican government is responding?  By placing 1000 military members along THEIR border.

What do they plan to do?  Open fire if we start tailing one of their cousins attempting to sneak across?  Or will they open fire on our Minutemen if they are defending themselves against hostile illegals?

I don’t know about you but that’s an open sign of aggression.  We should counter with 10,000 soldiers on our side.  Better yet, use this as an opportunity to test all those new weapons the military.  You know....the ones that fry you from the inside.  The ones that emit waves that make you nauseous.  The ones that make you bark at the moon (OK, I made that last one up.)

How To Solve a Couple Of Problems Together

Somehow we need to convince “Earth Mother Gaia” (I don’t know. What?  Sacrifices of liberals?) to unleash some of her pent up energy RIGHT HERE.

We’d kill off a bunch of those pesky MOOSLIMS plus we’d get those asshole environmentalists off our back with the ice-age that would result.

No more chants of “Halliburton!  Global Warming!  It’s all Bush’s Fault!!  Sign the Kyoto Accords!”

All that crap would stop instantaneously.  And the upshot?  It could snow again in Florida for Christmas.

Is This An April Fool’s Joke?

Muslims around the world are all a-twitter over the predictions of one of their scholars who says the US will be destroyed by the year 2007.

And why will we be destroyed?

“because of its great sins against mankind, including the Native Americans and blacks......and .....by becoming the first country to use nuclear weapons during World War II.”

He also said we would exist for only 231 years because:

by combing a number of suras hinting at US sins he reached the numbers 1776 (the year the US achieved independence) and 231. He added the two numbers and the result was 2007, the year when the US is expected to disappear.”

And how is it we are to perish according to this towel head holy-guy moron?

Yep!!  A TSUNAMI will wipe out the US!
