The Three Amigos .. UN Version

The UN has hired “Dick” and his two buddies to help promote safe sex ....

A trio of made-in-Canada cartoon condoms is helping battle the global spread of AIDS. The animated rubbers—named Shaft, Stretch and Dick—are featured in a series of public service announcements called The Three Amigos, officially launched at the United Nations this week.

The cartoon mates use comic relief to send a serious message about preventing HIV/AIDS. In one clip, they play soccer but “can’t score” without protection. In another, they’re astronauts who can’t “blast off” without a condom.

A Cold-Hearted View

First it was the cries for donations due to the tsunami.  Now we are going to get hounded to death about the hundreds of thousands that may die of malaria.

And you know what?  I don’t care.

I did not give a dime to any of those beggars on TV, the radio, newspapers, magazines.  I knew the intended recipients’ governments were ungrateful wretches from the beginning.  (hell, it does not take much to understand that culture) Plus my government already decided I was going to give by donating billions of our taxpayer dollars to the efforts.  Call me a tightwad.  Call me cold-hearted.  But I refuse to be corralled by all the bullshit cries for more money that people so willingly part with many times having no clue where it was going or if any of it ever made it to its intended location.  Many people donate in an effort to assuage a guilty conscience.  They actually believe it makes them a better person even if penny one never makes it to south Asia.

I don’t give a shit. Really.

Why? 

Because of this. People who sell their families off are not worthy of “saving.”

Because the Indonesian government wants our money but not our troops making the deliveries.  Because they won’t allow us to use their airspace for training our pilots who are sitting out on the USS Lincoln with nothing else to do.

You know what?  They are a sovereign country and we need to respect their laws.  So we should just leave and bring our money back with us, too.  FUCK THEM!!!  I do not care how many die.  Those people chose to have that sort of government.  Now let them live with the consequences of their choices; men, women, children, old people.  I don’t give a crap!

Lastly because other Muslim nations are not coming forward to help out.  They say this is Allah’s punishment for the decadence that took place there.  Or they all blame the US for their ills but every one of those pieces of shit want us to bail their asses out of jams they get into.

FUCK THEM ALL!!

Who Do You Believe?

I led off this morning’s rants with how I find it harder and harder to believe anything told me by the media.  I now amend that statement to just about “any expert.”

Coffee was bad.  Then it was good.  Now it is bad.

Sugar was bad.  Then it was good.

Wine was bad.  Then good. Then bad. Now good.

Oils were bad.  Then polyunsaturateds were good. Then margarine was better than butter.  Now butter is better and olive oil is the best.

We were going to run out of oil.  Now we are not.

We were all going to die of hunger by 2000 due to overpopulation.  We now produce more food than ever.

We were going to have global cooling.  Then global warming.

Who the fuck do we believe?

Now a study comes out and says we need to continue to BURN FOSSIL FUELS or else the planet will get colder!  Something about sulphur dioxide particles forming a barrier to the sun’s rays.

OK!  So get out there and buy HUGE Hummers!!  Range Rovers.  Cadillac SUVs, Ferrari Testarossas.  1959 Cadillacs and Lincolns with 500 cubic inch engines without catalytic converters burning LEADED gasoline.

Hell, class dismissed.  Do whatever you want.

More Government Money Grabbing

I believe Finland has a scheme where the wealthy pay more for traffic fines and other offenses than the poor do.

Well, England is also toying with the idea.

But you have to ask yourself, if they really and TRULY want fines to be equitable based on income, why not LOWER the existing fines so the poor do not pay so much disproportionately?  Instead of raising a fine from 250 to 750 for the rich, why not lower it from 250 to 75 for the poor?

We all know the answer to THAT question, don’t we?

How long before this comes to the US, I wonder, given local government’s ever incessant desire for more revenue?  And will it mean we now have to show up at court with our 1040s to prove what we made?  And how will this affect peoples’ desires to “hide” revenue?

You Have GOT To Love This!

The creative geniuses and scientists in the Department of Defense are tasked with developing all manner and ways to confuse and disorient enemy troops.

It’s a thankless job.  Long hours.  Infrequent recognition.

But how would like to have been involved on the team to develop an aphrodisiac that would have caused enemy soldiers to become attracted to one another?

What a hoot!  How do you prove it works?  Try it on one another?  Practice on a bunch of college jocks? (there’s a thought!)

The scene:

Artillery sounds booming in the background.

The order comes from the top for the infantry to advance.

They crest a hill and look down to find-----the enemy corn-holing one another or kneeling in front of their “buddy.’

This pretty well sums up the effect such a weapon would have:

Provoking widespread homosexual behavior among troops would cause a “distasteful but completely non-lethal” blow to morale, the proposal says.

“distasteful but completely non-lethal” You gotta love it!  Of course, the ACLU and UNHRC would find use of such a weapon repugnant and would have sued us in the world court for torture of the enemy.

Second best idea here is the “REALLY bad breath chemical.

Now, if we could only invent a weapon that would cause the enemy to wear panties on their heads while forming pyramids in the nude...................

What A Crock Of Crap!!!!!!

Do these stupid forons who made the statements that the diet of cave-men was better and that we adopt their eating habits realize that cavemen only lived to be 25-30 years old? 

What a bunch of absolute nincompoops!  What barking moonbats!!!

Whatever happened to self control and reasonable portions?  A little meat, veggies, fruit, cereals, and dairy.  That pretty much covers it.  Every day.  In reasonable quantities of each. There.  As simple as that. Damn it, this patronizing bullshit really pisses me off and should insult the intelligence of everyone who reads it..

Who gives a fuck what others think and what they do?  You will die when you die.  If you want to be a fat piece of shit, you will die sooner.  Good riddance to you.  If you want to exercise every day, good for you, too.  Leave me the hell alone with all this claptrap nonsense!

Who’s With Me?

Am I the only one who thinks that maybe we’ve gone too far in scaring Americans and that possibly, just possibly, the latest fiasco surrounding the flu shot vaccines may have taught us a lesson?  Could it be that (heaven help us) Americans may be starting to take responsibility for their own health?

Basically I believe what we hear on the news is nothing but a bunch of bullshit pushed on us by agenda mongers.  This flu vaccine nonsense may have been the turning point because most everything we’ve been told has been turned on its head this year.

Before the elections the Democrats were out trying to demonize the President for what happened with the flu vaccines.  There weren’t enough vaccines.  We should never have allowed “furrners” to make them.  Cries of hundreds of needless deaths echoed throughout the land.  Capitalisitc republicans and drug companies were money grubbing evil-doers who did not care for the health and well-being of poor and elderly Americans. Millions would go without their vaccines.  OH MY GOD! CALAMITY WILL BEFALL THE LAND!!!!

4 months later we now have vaccines going to waste as Americans realized that maybe just taking a few precautions they’d be able to weather this and do not need shots after all.  Precautions like washing their hands and faces more frequently or getting more fresh air in their homes instead of having a locked down house that allows the virus to survive longer inside could have made a difference.

Can it be?  Is it possible Americans will get a clue or is this just an aberration in that the flu strains this year were weaker?

Will we ever know?  I doubt it as I do not trust our media with these things anymore.  Who’s with me?

Canada Goes Communist

"From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.” We all know where that comes from, right?

Well, it is being put into practice in Canada where a judge ruled that since a father made enough money and had the “ability” then he should foot half the bill for putting his daughter through college because she had the “needs.”

The father summed it up well when he said:

“It’s just very wrong to teach the children of this province that if they happen to be the children of a person who makes more than an average amount of money, they can just sit on their ass and do absolutely nothing and expect to be paid for it, as long as they’re making good marks”

Don’t you just love communism?

And the mother?  She sits at home all day.

You can also tell just how this will impact all other divorces in Canuckistan by the comments made in the last paragraph.  It states that current rulings do not allow the inclusion of kids who have taken breaks between education or those who “all of a sudden” decide to go back to school for a new career.  But just as sure as I am sitting here you can be guaranteed it won’t be long before someone will challenge this, too.

Health Care

I almost did not blog about this article by Walter Williams until I read this paragraph:

Americans spend about 1 percent of their income on drugs. Seniors spend about 3 percent on drugs, less than the amount they spend on entertainment. Spending on drugs, as a percent of total health-care spending, was 10 percent in 1960. It’s roughly the same today.

Did you catch that last sentence?  For all the bitching and moaning and carping by the panty-waisted left in this country hell-bent on socializing our health care, this little fact is a bombshell.

Throw that in the face of your leftist friends next time you discuss the “cost” of healthcare.  But bait them first.  Ask if it was cheaper in the 60s.  They’ll fall for it every time.
