An Opportunity To Excel

One of our readers asked the question:  how many days has President Bush taken as “vacation” and how does that compare to other presidents?

I tried finding the answer but frankly can’t spend much time on it so if you know the answer, let us know.  Consider it as an opportuntiy to excel!!

For the record, going to Camp David does not count.  It may seem like a getaway but he never really “gets away.”

Going to Crawford would count so long as you factor in the days when the President does no meeting with other dignitaries or use the ranch as a springboard for visits to other places doing presidential “stuff.”

Same applies to Clinton or Carter, etc.

On a side note, what I DID find was a little table that shows average vacation days per country. Take a look and then ask yourself why we are the greatest nation on earth?  Could it e a “work ethic?”

Then you must consider how much productivity the Euro-weenies lose to strikes and work slow-downs.  Here’s a great example from our friends at Fuck France.

More Media Bullshit

AP took a poll and provided the results to NARAL, the organization that supports abortion in the US.  NARAL used the results to launch commercials attempting to prove to Americans that a majority do, in fact, support abortion and that any effort to overturn Roe vs. Wade were not supported by that percentage of Americans.

What the AP failed to do was ask the questions correctly.  Oh, sure, they’ll hide behind the excuse that their questions were not untruthful.  But they can’t hide the fact that they were deceitful.

Read this to get the rest of the story.

Do You Think It is Torture?

If you are one of those liberal bed-wetting types who think the treatment the captured Iraqis are getting is torture, then this is for you. Apparently it is a response from the SecDef via the White House to one of your fellow panty-waists when he complained about the treatment.

Please ID yourselves so we can begin implementation immediately.

The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Washington, D.C., 20016

Dear Concerned Citizen:

Thank you for your recent letter roundly criticizing our treatment of the Taliban and Al Qaeda detainees currently being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Our administration takes these matters seriously, and your opinion was heard loud and clear here in Washington. You’ll be pleased to learn that, thanks to the concerns of citizens like you, we are creating a new division of the Terrorist Retraining Program, to be called the “Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers” program, or LARK for short.  In accordance with the guidelines of this new program, we have decided to place one terrorist under your personal care.

Your personal detainee has been selected and scheduled for transportation under heavily armed guard to your residence next Monday.  Ali Mohammed Ahmed bin Mahmud (you can just call him Ahmed) is to be cared for pursuant to the standards you personally demanded in your letter of admonishment.  It will likely be necessary for you to hire some assistant caretakers.  We will conduct weekly inspections to ensure that your standards of care for Ahmed are commensurate with those you so strongly recommended in your letter.

Although Ahmed is a sociopath and extremely violent, we hope that your sensitivity to what you described as his “attitudinal problem” will help him overcome these character flaws.

Perhaps you are correct in describing these problems as mere cultural differences.  He will bite you, given the chance.  We understand that you plan to offer counseling and home schooling.  Your adopted terrorist is extremely proficient in hand-to-hand combat and can extinguish human life with such simple items as a pencil or nail clippers.  We do not suggest that you ask him to demonstrate these skills at your next yoga group.

He is also expert at making a wide variety of explosive devices from common household products, so you may wish to keep those items locked up, unless (in your opinion) this might offend him.

Ahmed will not wish to interact with your wife or daughters (except sexually) since he views females as a subhuman form of property.  This is a particularly sensitive subject for him, and he has been known to show violent tendencies around women who fail to comply with the new dress code that Ahmed will recommend as more appropriate attire.  I’m sure they will come to enjoy the anonymity offered by the burka—over time. Just remind them that it is all part of “respecting his culture and his religious beliefs”—wasn’t that how you put it?

Thanks again for your letter. We truly appreciate it when folks like you, who know so much, keep us informed of the proper way to do our job.

You take good care of Ahmed - and remember...we’ll be watching.  Good luck!

Cordially,

Don Rumsfeld

Blame Vilmar

OK. First things first. This was not my idea, OK? Blame Vilmar.

We had an old version of a popular hacked song (something about letting the dawgs out .... re-recorded as a political statement involving residency at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue). Unfortunately, it was in RealAudio format (which sucks). Vilmar finally threatened me persuaded me to scrounge around in my IT toolbox and find something to convert it to a useful format, like MP3. It’s only 860 KB so stop your whining and download it (see below).

OK! Listen up! Here is the plan!

At noon tomorrow, we want every one of you to start playing this little MP3 JUST AS DAMNED LOUD AS YOU CAN. Got that?

Oh, and feel free to pump your arms up and down with the music and stamp your feet on the drum beat. Invite all your Liberal, Leftist neighbors to listen in.

Let’s Rock The Blue States!

Update I: Of course, you may also feel free to rock this little tune all night long tonight and keep the neighborhood awake (if you live in a blue state). Noise ordinances be damned!

Update II: For those of you who are computer-illiterate, just right-click on the link above and select “Save Link As” and you can keep a copy of this little song all to yourself.

Doin’ The Meth Hokey-Pokey

From the LA Times, we get this ridiculous story about problems in the “gay” community in California ....

Gays’ Rising Meth Use Tied to New HIV Cases
By Lisa Richardson and Lee Romney, Times Staff Writers

For seven years methamphetamine helped Ron Conner believe he was the talented, sexy, bold man he had always dreamed of being. The 37-year-old graphic artist would have sacrificed everything to hold onto that glamorous vision of himself — and, ultimately, he nearly did.

“I lost my house, two cars, my checking and savings accounts, my piano, my boyfriend,” he said.

“I had sex with guys I knew were [HIV] positive, who said they were positive, and I just didn’t care,” he added.

Hmmmmm. I’m already disgusted. These people have to take drugs to “jazz up” their sexual practices, refuse to take responsibility while doing so and will ultimately depend on society and the taxpayers to help them recover? And then they insist we “legalize” these sexual habits by allowing them to “marry”?

I don’t get it. I just don’t get it. I’m sorry. I need to go take a long walk around the block several times to clear my head. The white rabbit is talking to me again.

Sour Grapes

The confirmation hearings for Dr. Condaleeza Rice are now over and the committee has voted overwhelmingly to pass her nomination along to the Senate for confirmation as the new US Secretary Of State. This is an astounding achievement for Dr. Rice and I personally congratulate her on her new job. She is extremely well qualified for the job, being highly intelligent and gifted with a large amount of common sense and foresight. Her background in foreign affairs makes her the ideal candidate for Secretary Of State. I wish her well.

In a related story, the vote on Dr. Rices’s nomination was not unanimous. Of the eighteen members on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, there were two Senators who voted against Dr. Rice’s confirmation. You can probably already guess that Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) was one of them, especially after her almost lunatic attacks on Dr. Rice in the hearings yesterday. Can you guess who the other Senator was who voted against Dr. Rice’s confirmation? Go ahead. Give it your best guess. OK. Here’s a hint .... he is a Senator from a New England state. Still can’t guess? OK. Here’s another hint .... he once ran for President and lost. Still can’t guess? OK. Final hint .... he’s an aristocratiic, French-looking Senator who (by the way) served in Vietnam.

Still can’t guess? Then go read the article about the final vote.

A New Conspiracy Theory

Actually, this story makes sense to me in a weird, strange kinda way.

Church Leader Blames Abortion For Social Security Problems

January 17, 2005

SAN DIEGO—A member of the governing board of the nation’s largest black denomination said Social Security is in trouble today because baby boomers aborted much of the generation that would have supported their retirement.

Bishop George McKinney of the Church of God in Christ said, “Part of the problem that we’re seeing now with Social Security has to do with the fact that 40 to 50 million people who have been killed through abortions have not taken their role as productive citizens.”

McKinney said the Democratic Party’s support for legal abortion and gay marriage has cost it support in the black community.

The Church of God in Christ is the nation’s fourth-largest denomination—and the largest black church group—with about 5.5 million members.

(-- thanks to David for the tip)

Mars Needs Russians

The Russian military confesses to a decades long war with extraterrestrial beings. All your communes are belong to us!

In the end of the 60s a secret laboratory of researching “flying objects” was created in the USSR. Among the laboratory"s tasks was researching anti-gravitation, but the research results were made secret. Its testing area was near the town of Kapustin Yar on purpose. In the end of June of 1971 the military could see over this area a black cigar-shaped flying object floating under the clouds at the altitude of 800 meters. The object was 25 meters long and had about 3 meters in diameter. It had neither stabilizers nor wings nor engines and was moving at the speed of 150 kilometers per hour producing no noise.

In 1978 ЦНДС Soviet Ministry of Defense accepted Network MO program. Special military unit in the town of Mytishi was in charge of collecting data, and newly established “space troops” were designated to fight possible threat from space.

In the beginning of August 1987 five soldiers of Leningrad Military District went to the North of Karelia region on a special mission. They were required to guard the object of unknown origin. It was found on the territory of another military unit near the town of Vyborg. The item was 14 meters long, 4 meters wide, 2.5 meters high. The object had neither doors no hatches, and all attempts to open its hull were unsuccessful.  The military tried to break off some object parts, but were only able to take some rods from its stern. In the end of September the object disappeared from the hangar without leaving a trace.

It’s All About Fishing ….

There is an ancient proverb that says, “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime”. Here is today’s fishing story from Afghanistan ....

Afghanistan Sends Aid To Aceh

news24.com
17/01/2005

Kabul - Impoverished Afghanistan is to send tons of medical and other aid to tsunami-hit Indonesia, the defence ministry said on Monday.

Afghan airline Ariana will make its first ever flight from Kabul to devastated Banda Aceh in Indonesia with 20 medical personnel and supplies, said General Mohammed Azimi.

“Today at 2pm we will send a team of doctors, emergency experts and 30 tonnes of food, blankets and medical supplies to Banda Aceh,” Azimi said.

“A 20-strong team of doctors, nurses and relief workers and emergency experts will fly to Aceh and if needed we will send more help down there,” he added.

Afghanistan itself continues to be in severe need of international aid after years of drought and war, and has received multi-million dollar pledges for reconstruction work.

Kabul promised to send more help to Aceh once the disaster experts flying down there had reported back to say what is needed.

Who’s Surprised???

I saw three of these this morning and the other two a couple of days ago.  The title just popped into my head and seems so appropriate.  Hey, really, who’s surprised to hear about this?

Let’s start with this little gem: investigations notwithstanding, UN peacekeepers are STILL abusing women and girls in the Congo. Yessirree, Bob, the agency the rest of the world insists we trust with money to help tsunami victims still has employees raping and abusing victims of life’s tragedies.  Pray tell, with that sort of track record, what assurances do we have this is not occurring in Indonesia, India, and other countries slammed by that wall of water?

Our next nugget is this one:  in typical bureaucratic fashion, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention is blaming a computer error for overstating a nationwide obesity problem.  So, for readers like Tubino who love our social government systems so much, are you beginning to get a clue as to why I do not trust government figures for social security?  I do not give a flying fuck if it is not broke yet, that there are enough workers paying in to support those taking out, that no changes need to be made.  I do not trust anything I get from entrenched bureaucrats and their lackeys in the media who kiss their ass and carry their water.  I want my money to be MINE!  Then if the systems falls apart, it’s no sweat off my brow.  If it does not, then I will still have more money then those who were too scared or incapable of handling their own finances.

Moving right along: I’d have never guessed!  Not in a million years!!  The United Nations funds terror! **GASP!!  NO!!! Not the UN!!”

donations of between $4,000 and $10,000 went to the Tulkarm Charity Committee and the Jenin District Committee for Charitable Funds.

Of course, since this is being alleged by a former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations the media will portray it as nothing more than a Zionist plot to suppress “freedom fighters.”

It gets better: The colonel who gave Clinton a deferment is dead. This is not what we should be surprised about.  We all die, after all.  But I wonder how many newspapers will carry what Colonel Holmes said about Clinton’s motives:

``I believe that he purposely deceived me, using the possibility of joining the ROTC as a ploy to work with the draft board to delay his induction and get a new draft classification.’

Lastly I give you this offering: A Palestinian movie producer admitted that a film made in which Israeli troops are portrayed as committing war crimes in a refugee camp were untrue.  He went on to say that:

his documentary, which was screened in theaters around the world, was financed in part by the Palestinian Authority.

So, who’s surprised?  Go ahead, raise your hands.

Am I Being Overly Sensitive?

As usual, I awoke to NPR this morning.  They had a report about a bunch of young republicans heading off to the inauguration.  At first I didn’t really catch it but now, 2 hours later, caffeine in my system, and, as I am wont to do, I begin reviewing my day.  I do this whenever I have a couple of free minutes and am waiting for the coffee or just experiencing “dead time.” So I mentally reviewed the broadcast.

Thinking to self:  “As I awoke I thought, “wow!  NPR actually was not bashing Bush today.  They were not pushing a homosexual agenda.  They were not advocating some minority’s rights nor pushing feminist claptrap.  That’s novel.  But wait a minute.  That is not characteristic of NPR so something’s up.  Hmmm, let’s go back to what was said.

That’s when I came up with this:  the broadcast itself focused on this “road trip” by these young guys.  When asked what they were mostly looking forward to, one responded “getting a shot at the Bush twins.” The interview went to another fellow and concluded with one of them saying in the background, “and the Bush twins!!”

Now here you have some guys that did a lot of work for the party and NPR deems that their “shot” at the Bush twins is worth reporting not once but twice?  Something is out of synch here.

So....am I being overly sensitive?  Or is it that the last two democrats had dog-ugly daughters no one in his right mind would want to poke?

And yes, the Bush twins ARE hot!

NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!

A review of records reveals John Kerry is still not only a loser but THE LOSER of our latest elections.  You know, that STILL puts a smile on my face!  LOSER!! LOSER!!!

Which brings me to a couple of points.  This election resulted in the highest voter turnout since 1968.

Now ask yourself a question when you view these numbers.  How much higher would President Bush’s numbers have been had the media been UNBIASED?  How many votes would Kerry have lost if our media had actually investigated his background?  Or if they had portrayed him as a non-attending member of Congress?  Or attacked his senate record for not having passed hardly any bills of substance in 20 years?  Or demanded his COMPLPETE military medical records like they did for President Bush?  Or if they had portrayed Michael Moore for the lunatic he was and exposed his distortions?

We must not rest on our petards, folks.  With Inauguration coming up, we need to use that activity as a motivator for energizing our republican/conservative base and get even more of them out to vote in 2006 and 2008.

Now, let’s go back to Fuckface.

You’ve probably heard (then again, probably not given the media’s penchant for sucking his ass) that he’s recently been in the mid-east glad-handing and most likely joining in ceremonial camel fuckings with leaders of the Muslim world.  Particularly, he was in Egypt visiting with their Prime Minister. This is what he admitted:

“that the US committed terrible mistakes in Iraq. During a meeting on Wednesday with grand Imam of Al Azhar Mohamad Sayed Tantawi, Kerry regretted the difficult conditions in Iraq.”

During a time of war aren’t those considered treasonous remarks?  And why isn’t Fuckface in Massachusetts representing his constituents?  Oh....I forgot.  He’s not represented them in so long and has missed so many votes they, themselves do not even know when he is or is not around.  Ooops.  My bad.

But that’s not all.

John F**king Kerry then went to Paris to suck the dick of Jacques Chirac.

Oh, before I go any further.  Did you know that Fuckface served in Vietnam and that he looks French?  Just thought I’d remind you.

Discussing US/French relations, he told Chirac:

“I’m convinced there’s an opportunity here to bring that relationship closer”

As he did so Kerry winked as his hand slid over Chirac’s thigh.  They both retired to private quarters soon afterwards.  Chirac’s wife said, “hey, he’s French.  What do you expect.”

No seriously, read this article about the visit.  You’ll love the bits that mention his “linguistic abilities” and other family members living in France.
