Reader Input Requested

For those of you out there who own guns, I am sure you are aware of what will hopefully expire September 13th---the 1994 Clinton-Feinstein-Schumer gun-control regulations.

President Bush said he'd sign it if Congress sent it to him and so far it looks like they've not done so (since, I've been informed, he told them NOT to!) Clever way of dodging the issue, really.

But as far as I am concerned, it will die (and hopefully a violent and bullet riddled death!)

Like you I am tired of liberal bed wetters making legislation to restrict sale and purchase of guns because they "look scary." Or because they "appear to be" assault weapons.

Given the assumption the legislation will not be renewed, what are your thoughts as to what we can expect September 14th?

More hi-cap mags?
Cheaper mags?
Different variants of rifles/shotguns/pistols available that are not now?

etc.
etc.
etc.

Hey, what the hell, in the interest of bi-partisanship (and for the pacifists out there), if you want it renewed, WHY?

The recipe for the Obliteration of All Things Muslim

If terrorists ever pull this off I can see where no mosque would ever again be sacred; where generals would tell their troops that everything is now a free fire zone; where Muslims in this country would be corralled for deportation (if not shot on sight); where vigilante justice would reign supreme.

And I would think, "Hmmmm, not a bad start."

The Fox Will Be Guarding The Chicken Coop

A couple of weeks ago I railed about how the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) had been invited to come to the US to monitor the November elections.

Now I have even more reason: the guy who is the president of the OCSE election monitoring arm is...............drum roll please............................

Alcee Hastings!!!!

Oh, yeah, way to inspire confidence in the process. By having as president a person who,
"(i)n 1988, the U.S. House of Representatives voted almost unanimously (413-3) to approve 17 articles of impeachment amounting to "high crimes and misdemeanors" against Hastings, who at the time was a federal judge."

And why was he impeached?
"While sitting on the federal bench, an FBI bribery sting caught Hastings conspiring to obtain a $150,000 bribe in exchange for granting leniency to a pair of convicted racketeers. The Senate convicted Hastings of perjury and conspiracy to take a bribe. He is one of only a handful of judges ever to be impeached in the history of the U.S."

It gets better:
"Hastings is a House Democrat who represents Broward County, Florida"

OMIGOD!!! Of all places! The one corner in the United States where the Dummycraps dominate, where Dummycraps control virtually all aspects of government; where Dummycraps are the Supervisors of Election; where people are so fucking stupid they either don't know where their polling place is or can't follow simple arrows on their Dummycrap-designed ballots. What have we done as a nation to deserve these fucktards? Why can't we declare open season with no bag limit?

Sorry, this one just pisses me off. I will be working as a ballot box inspector for both the primary and the general elections and if I see any of these fucktards anywhere near my ballot box I will have to get very offensive with them, raise a ruckus, and probably get arrested. But I don't care. These fuckwits from virtually third world countries (sorry, with the exception of the UK, and Italy Europe is turning into another Africa as far as I am concerned) have no business looking to see if our processes are corrupt. Especially not after it was the Dummycraps, through their stupidity, who allowed this crap to happen in 2000.

Here's what he looks like in case he comes to your district.

Wouldn’t It Be Nice For A Change?

For a glimpse of how heady it would be if the media were right wing instead of barking moonbat ass-sucking lap dogs to the Dummycraps, read this account of how the Presidential race would be covered.

Kerry’s Lies

Kerry trots out a couple saying the lady was forced to work while undergoing treatment for cancer.

They say it's a lie.

Are you surprised?

Now The Poodle says he was in Vietnam when MLK was shot in April 1968. Yet Fuckface didn't go to 'Nam until November!

From the same article comes this:
Kerry has often referred to his yearlong tour of duty on the USS Gridley as his first tour of Vietnam, even though the frigate only approached the coast in the Gulf of Tonkin.

Gee, could he "technically" be correct? I don't think so but maybe some old sailors out there can clue us in.

T.G.I.F.

An oldie but goodie from Ric.

While trying to escape through Pakistan, Osama Bin Laden found a brass lamp and picked it up.

Suddenly, a female genie rose from the lamp and with a smile said, "Master, may I grant you one wish?"

"You ignorant unworthy daughter-of-a-dog! Don't you know who I am? I don't need any common woman giving me anything," barked Bin Laden.

The shocked genie said, "Please, I must grant you a wish or I will be returned to that lamp forever."

Osama thought a moment. Then grumbled about the impertinence of the woman, and said "Very well, I want to awaken with three American women in my bed in the morning, so just do it and be off with you!"

The annoyed genie said, "So be it !" and disappeared.

The next morning Bin Laden woke up in bed with Lorena Bobbitt, Tonya Harding, and Hillary Clinton.

His penis was gone, his knee was broken, and he had no health insurance.

God is good.

A Snippet and A Follow-Up

Historically, this is quite a find.

The location of one of the largest military camps in US history set up to take the Mississippi from the Spanish should war be declared.

Yesterday I posted about how the assholes at the Olympics wanted President Bush to pull his campaign ad because he'd used the word "Olympics."

I just found out he basically told them to, in fact, go fuck themselves, he's not pulling it. He mentioned nothing about the horse they rode in on, though!

BRAVO!!

Professor Adams is on a roll. Today he defines for us what FEMS and a FAMMS are. Former: a person who suffers from Free Expression Menopause Syndrome and the latter: a person who suffers from First Amendment Male Menopause Syndrome.

Read to discover how you can spot one. And continue reading (especially if you are in college, high school, or any educational facility run by the government.) HELP IS ON THE WAY!!!

Quote Of The Day

"In the first place, God made idiots. That was for practice. Then he made school boards. "
-- Mark Twain (1835 - 1910)

On This Day In History

August 27, 1883 - Krakatau Explodes
The most powerful volcanic eruption in recorded history occurs on Krakatau, a small, uninhabited island located west of Sumatra in Indonesia. Volcanic activity began on Krakatau on May 20, and on August 26 Krakatau began to erupt violently. The next day, four giant explosions occurred, the third of which blew away the northern two-thirds of the island and caused 120-foot tidal waves that killed 36,000 people on the nearby islands of Java and Sumatra. The explosions could be heard more than 2,000 miles away in Australia, and ash was propelled to a height of 50 miles. Fine dust from the explosion drifted around the earth, causing spectacular sunsets and forming an atmospheric veil that lowered world temperatures by a degree.

Message From The Twins

The Twin Cuties Have A Message For You ....

We're sure that you have no doubt who we'll be voting for in November. But you should also know that we would be voting for our Dad in this election even if he had not raised us, loved us, tutored us, coached us, and even listened to a few excuses from us for late curfews. We have been privileged to know our President personally and we know he is the right person to lead our country - especially when there are so many important issues at stake.

Our Dad has qualities that are needed in a good President - loyalty, humor (embarrassing as it sometimes may be), compassion, and, most importantly, integrity. We're not the only ones who see it. In fact, our friends - from varying political backgrounds - are supporting our Dad in November. Not only because of his decisions to liberate the women of Afghanistan or bring freedom to the people of Iraq, but because during the last ten years they met a man whose title was Governor or President, but who was always happy to be known as "our Dad." He made everyone feel welcome and comfortable in our house (except for the occasional boyfriend) and our friends got to know him as a really good guy.

We know that when you get to know his record as President, you too will feel compelled to participate in this year's election - and hopefully get involved in the campaign, too. We know it can be hard to find time to think about politics. We just graduated from college and are perfectly aware that schoolwork, parties, and extra-curricular activities keep students busy, away from campaigns and voting booths. In the last election, less than half of 18- to 24-year-olds were registered to vote, and only 32% of them actually did vote. Sadly, many Americans our age did not take advantage of their right to vote.

We are asking you to get involved with this campaign not only because it is the most critical election of our lifetime, but also because we have the ability to positively change our future. Please encourage your friends to sign up on the campaign's web site (www.GeorgeWBush.com) and register to vote online. At the web site you'll also find a lot of information about how to get involved in our Dad's re-election campaign. It's an easy process, and it's the best way to have a say in this year's election.

Thanks for taking a few minutes to think about some big issues. This is a really important election, and we know that with your help our Dad will win in November.

We Were Not Invited

Dammit! We were not invited to the Republican National Convention.

I had hopes Vilmar could be encouraged to attend this one since I risked my life to attend the (spit) DNC Convention in Boston undercover.

I extend my congratulations to the following who received invites:

David Adesnik (OxBlog)
Bill Ardolino (INDC Journal)
Kevin Aylward (WizBang)
Tom Bevan (Real Clear Politics)
Ben Domenech (RedState.org)
Hugh Hewitt (HughHewitt.com)
John Hinderaker (PowerLine)
Matt Margolis (BlogsForBush.com)
Edward Morrissey (CaptainsQuarters.com)
Alan Nelson (The Command Post)
Brian Reich (Campaign Web Review)
Scott Sala (Slant Point)
Karol Sheinin (Spot On)
Roger L. Simon (Roger L. Simon)
Josh Trevino (Tacitus)

Cheers to you all. Boston was enough for me. Enjoy the show and keep us updated.

Kerry’s Sampan Incident

Here's one I was not aware of but Pat Buchanan covers it quite well: John F**king Kerry's actions while manning a radar one dark night. This is troubling stuff. It calls into question everything he alleges to have done that night.

When all's said and done, however, his actions deserved an inquiry--which never took place.

How soon?

After reading this I sat back and thought to myself, "self, we are headed in a very strange direction and I am not sure I want to go there."

So I open it up to the readers..........

Virtual girlfriends demanding jewelry and pledges of marriage? YIKES!!! How soon before we are making love to a series of electrons? Is this a good thing? Will it help defeat sexually transmitted disease? Will it reduce female enslavement for prostitution? Will men stop getting hairy palms and will women no longer look to see if batteries are included? What are problems may pop up as a result of this?

I leave it up to you.

Not that very many people ever read this far down, but this blog was the creation of Allan Kelly and his friend Vilmar. Vilmar moved on to his own blog some time ago, and Allan ran this place alone until his sudden and unexpected death partway through 2006. We all miss him. A lot. Even though he is gone this site will always still be more than a little bit his. We who are left to carry on the BMEWS tradition owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we hope to be able to pay that back by following his last advice to us all:
  1. Keep a firm grasp of Right and Wrong
  2. Stay involved with government on every level and don't let those bastards get away with a thing
  3. Use every legal means to defend yourself in the event of real internal trouble, and, most importantly:
  4. Keep talking to each other, whether here or elsewhere
